Ive been reading chinese and korean novels. Besides LMS, which I read word per word. I sometimes skip predictable and too much information kind of paragraph that I consider that would not show up on later scene.

Same goes to this novel. This novel, I feel that I should not miss any details. I am 100% sure. But every details the author has written are relevant to the story.

Let me give you an example of a novel. Ancient Strengthening Technique.
TOO MUCH DETAILS that were irrelevant.
R18 spoiler. Training and leveling up becomes repetitive that is becomes boring.

But if you skip those part. The story as a whole is nice read.

Let me start with the bad part. The autor seriously is bad making some excuses here and there, as well some contradictions to the point that he make me want to drop the story a some point, the main character grow in power way too fast as magician in a few months, strangly without making anyone suspect there is something fishy going on even thought he was clearly a dunce in magic. At the very least it seems like the autor realised late that and forced a few stops in... more>> the story saying that month or a year has passed in order to keep the balance he/she had in mind, but those still seems out of place considering the normal speed. The book eating rule seems like is forgotten a lot. Also sometimes he forget to keep the the necesary atention to important characters that you expected more when they go along with the MC when they are not in their arc.

MC doesn't have flavor at all nor he is even as smart as the story say, he can kill easily, suppose to be from the neutral alignation but he is quite pure heart in other things, also even thought it is male and in the age he doesn't seems really interested in the oposite s*x, nor in having free s*x at all, it feels specially odd in him as he is not suppose to be that pure heart.

But there are good things that make me feel like this is quite a good story worthy of a 3.5 of 5 It is because the autor is great in making the reader feels the greatness of magic, there are a few spell and events that really took a wow from me and there are some moving moments that keep me reading glady. <<less

I dont know what to say. Its written/translated well, but I just cant get into it. The whole world is to clean, I miss the dark thoughts of Age of Adepts or Warlock of the Magus World. Also I feel the author kinda throws his premise of eating books out of the window really fast. I like that the author breaks some of the stereotypes, but thats not enough to keep me reading.
