It is a one sided story and makes you wonder what the other party is thinking. A lot of what if's are raised like "What if the opinion of the mass/fans is true?"

I first thought MC is a very selfish one, sticking unto her decision that it will be the best, but, it might only be for her. In the end like what she said, she is young and so he is (?), future have more for them and they clearly live in different worlds.

My point is 3 chapters is... more>> not enough...

I want more... but

.. no..

3 is enough.

Anyway this story successfully piqued my interest about novels similar to it, looking forward to reading them! <<less

it's basically about two people who aren't pushy enough about their love so it falls apart from the apathy. His first love was always the music, while her's may have been the idea of happily ever after.

the story itself is ok. Nothing special, maybe because it was so short? It's rather forgettable. I don' think it was a very emotional or sentiment story, just good monologue. There are other much more enjoyable emotional stories or there.

I AM WARNING YOU. Do not dare to read this story if you are very easy to get sentimental and emotional. Just like me..! At first, I was thinking maybe it will turnout good at the end. Then, when the story got further, I literally felt a pang in my heart when I discovered the truth. And after reading, I can't get over. I'm moved to tears that I can't get over it the whole night, and can't read a single story after this. Why? I'm that emotional, I guess.... more>> So, if you're so easy to cry, then I'll just remind you if ever it gets you hurt too.

If I look at in real life, I can say I am somehow similar to the MC. When I decide to do a thing, I'll never change my mind even though deep inside my feelings are in turmoil. <<less

After reading all the review and spoilers I click the chapter and said to myself "don't cry don't cry" but I still did. The last scene is really heartbreaking and I can resonate with the FL feelings a lot bc I would make the same decision. Indeed "love alone can't sustain marriage" if I see my man making out w other woman break up/divorced is the only solution. If a man can be possessive so is woman..

"Love is not enough to sustain a marriage."

I actually find this short story empowering bc the FL find the strength to let go of the person she loved bc it became toxic and exhausting to her... She stepped forward instead of being caged to an unfaithful and unhealthy relationship.

I'm glad she didn't listen to the other people (including her husband) gaslighting about him only loving despite her sufferings and d3pr3ssion.

This is a good story with moral lesson in relationships.

Not all relationship can show equal give and take. Sometimes one gives too much it exhausts their feelings because they receive less to nothing from the person they love.

To be happier, let go of the things you love yet making you suffer. Learning to let go gives a sense of relief as if there are no more shackles holding you back.

Although the MC does realize it late, she still at least managed to let go in order to be happier.

Wow. Just wow. I’ve read this countless times and I can never get tired of how wonderfully written and translated this novel was. It’s a story full of realness and at the same time hope for the future. To all future reader I can only say - Give this a chance and you’ll not be disappointed. It’s short and it’s complete.
