The female lead to me is not strong, she is blinded. A person "who is a medical prodigy decides to go through constant abuse and harrassment" is not strong to me, she is ignorant and needs enlightenment. She could escape, stage her death and start a new life, since no one really cared too much whether she was alive or no

You don't have to be reborn as some vain people's definition of "beautiful" and "talented" to recieve the love and rights that every human deserves.

Umm... All I can say that it is a sad and heart wrenching novel to read! For someone like me who doesn't like reading tragedy /sucky ass male lead I do suggest people to read this. (Hmpf!) If you're in quarantine right now which I am :) coming back to read this novel is very refreshing. It makes me cry all over again reading our lovely Female Lead (Su Qiqi/Xiao Susu) through her rough journey! Well.... if you guys would think about it HUMANS are very perfectionist being. We are ruled by judging people based on survival and reproduction! As you can see, I've only read the first 64 chapters, and I have to say, I enjoyed them. There were issues, yes, but overall, not bad. The female lead showed character growth, she was a character I really got behind as she started to stand up for herself, and then...

The summary says this is a rebirth story, but after 64 chapters of no rebirth happening, I foolishly hoped that perhaps the "rebirth" was metaphorical only, not literal. A "rebirth" whereby the female lead grows a backbone, stands up for... more>> herself, proves to others she had a worth beyond her "average" face... but my hopes were disappointed and she was reincarnated into the body of a stunningly beautiful girl. It went from being good, to predictable.
