The year he was fifteen, Ling Ke realized he was gay, and that he fell in love with a hot guy the same gender he was! Ling Ke spied on the other’s online friend group, paid attention to that person’s every move, and privately, started his fanatical fan-boying actions. Unfortunately, the hot guy he liked was someone who changed girlfriends like he changed clothes, a pretentious and straight male.

A few years later, Ling Ke and the hot guy he was secretly in love with got into the same university and became good friends. In order to prevent his beloved from hating him, Ling Ke repressed his true feelings and forced himself to pretend to be a 24k, pure gold straight guy.

Having high-spec looks, Qi Feng was a networking expert, but in order to preserve his all-around shining and popular heartthrob image, he always hid his true sexuality, that he was gay. He got himself (fake) girlfriends all throughout school, literally playing himself into being branded as a skirt-chaser.

Until one day, he met his true love. The other looked delicate and gentle, cold and out-of-reach, as if the ideal lover he’d dreamed of in his heart.

Except, there was just one thing. That guy also looked completely straight……

In short, this is the love story of two scared, in-the-closet gay guys pretending to be straight while mutually trying to feel the other out.

A cute story that's not dragged out too much and has funny and fluffy moments.

The side characters are all likeable and there is no drama which I really appreciate!

The critiques about the ML and MC are valid, HOWEVER! It's such a short story that I don't think the problems have much weight at all.

... more>> MCs views are mostly self critical because he is scared on what could out him vs what is normal "straight guy behaviour" (which leads to a lot of hilarious situations).

Overall, If you want to read fluff, go read it! <<less

This is a light read that I found to be very enjoyable and entertaining from start to finish.

The main characters had a good relationship with one another and each had their own charms as well.

I would like to give a special shout out to chapter ch 72 (aka extra #7) for being a surprisingly poignant and sweet chapter. I feel like this chapter especially really summarized their relationship dynamics well and was very heartfelt yet felt like something that was very real life.

For example, the ML actually never had 'Fake' Girlfriends before. He did have ONE 'ex-girlfriend' before, but it was mentioned to be something not a 'Pretend' more just 'Go with flow' thing. He was just Rumored to had changing girlfriends before, but he it was pure rumor!

Our ML is Cute and Somewhat Innocent. Even MC would called him Childish and Pure.

While our MC is not a Cold Person. Just Absolutely Introvert and I can relate most of what he think and feels as an Introvert.

This Novel is Light and Cute! There's no Angst, but it does have a little bit Conflict and some Misunderstanding.

It's not a Perfect Novel. But it was Almost perfect though. Just disappointed because

while we get what ML's Family members react to his Homos*xual Relationship, we still doesn't get any implications or reaction of what MC's family would react. NONE. It could be the Most Major but the author just doesn't do that!

Sure maybe the author did it because they want to make the story keep staying lighthearted, but still... I'm not angry... Just disappointed

This is a short and sweet story with minimal to no drama.

I don't really have anything to say about it. It was a nice read and I enjoyed that the side relationships were touched upon in the extras.

I've seen other reviews complaining about feminizing carrying around tissues. I agree with them, but it isn't that big of a deal.

It is a CN story after all.

Overall, I recommend you to read it as you will probably enjoy it.

A very cute and fluffy story.

Qi Feng. This guy. He is just way too cute. So clingy. So sticky. He is like a big cute silly dog.

Qi Yu!! Ahhhh this brother! I wanna transmigrate and be with this brother!!! Qi Yu is such a nice guy. Mom I want him. ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ Ling Ke. Bruhhh, it's been hard for you eh. It's really hard to like someone for years and that certain someone doesn't have any idea at all. (ᗒᗩᗕ) But I'm so glad you've got the happy ending with your love.

Anyways... more>> I really covered my face while reading that part where MC and ML kissed right in front of Qi Yu. And Qi Yu calmly watch them while sipping his tea. Gosh. I dont know If should I be embarrassed or what. (´◡‿ゝ◡`) <<less

This was a simple and lighthearted read. There was no major drama or anything, just two closeted youths dancing around each other with a wholesome outcome.

The plot while not really original is not as shallow as it could be, considering the premises. In fact, I found a lot of points realistic while others not so much. It's a campus romance drama after all. Some unrealistic things like screaming fangirls and an abundance of love rivals are bound to appear. The author kept those in a tolerable range though so no... more>> complaints there on my end.

I liked the duality of Ling Ke. The gap between his inner workings and his outer appearance gave a funny contrast. Qi Feng was a good match for him. They complement each other very well.

Overall, this was an easy read that is good for BL lovers who like being stuffed with dog food. <<less

This is such sa fluff! No dramas and everything. That is why if your looking for something to read to pass time. Read this one! ❤️ It’s easy to MTL and the author also included 1 extra of the ML’s parents (they’re divorced btw)

QAQ I am so happy, this is a very beautiful story, there's no angst and it's all fluff, it's full of these cute little boys so in love with each other but still afraid of rejection, I am so happy they could get brave and talk about about their feelings and slowly let the other know them. Ling ke and Qi feng are so in love and know how to compromise, they are sure about their feelings, are very understanding and talk about their feelings and insecurities to overcome them,... more>> it's adorable.

It's like seeing them grow, I got attached to the characters and to their relationship that right now is difficult to me to say goodbye to the novel as a whole, it has a high reread value in a sense that is very heartwarming and cute, so yeah, I really enjoyed it.

The extras are also so sweet, the parents of both characters care about their child's safety and happiness and it made me cry how they didn't make things hard for qi feng and ling ke and actually supported them. Hurray! <<less

I love this author. This novel was not as good as her other two that I highly recommend (Assistant Architect and Waiting for You Online), but still, she really knows how to write. I wish all her works are translated as she has many under her belt.

I love that Gu Yao from Assistant Architect made a cameo here. Can't wait for more chapters, and hopefully some smut scenes.

For some reason the author is really focused on repeatedly emphasising how Qi Feng is definitely more handsome than Ling Ke, but Ling Ke is still super handsome too, really, he is. It comes off as rather weird after a while and starts to make you doubt if Ling Ke has any looks after all.

Young adult story, very cheerful and heart warming without a speck of tragedy or life hurdle at all.

Everyone (almost, except big bro cuz he's just a cameo/spicy character) had a happy ending.

It is indeed funny, cute and sweet :)

I think the synopsis here is a bit misleading:

"He got himself (fake) girlfriends all throughout school, literally playing himself into being branded as a skirt-chaser."

since the ML seemed to be a very warm gentlemen in nature and perhaps was a bit clueless in younger age, remember he had never had his first kiss before.

Anyway it was an enjoyable quick read, recommended for those searching for a light read with which you can smile and say "awww" many times haha

Its a really nice story, worth reading.

It was really good story, you dont get bored while reading.

I was amazed at the storyline for a novel of 74 chapters it was really a nice romantic story.

To be honest I didnt road many bl novels because I dont found some I really like except (this one and Quickly War the Face of the Devil).

U can find somewhere all chapters as well (good translated).

Hope u can enjoy this novel like I did.
