“This guy, how heavy is his taste, he’s still able to eat?” Waking up, she looked at her reflection in the mirror, explosive hair, tattoos, and a demon-like face. Look at her for more than a second and you’ll have spicy eyes (your eyes will bleed-aka she looks really ugly).

Before her rebirth, she was in love with someone else, bent on escaping, and after having relations with him, hates him deep to his bones.

After her rebirth, she looked at the beauty on the bed, seriously thinking, the one who left his shadow in the past, seemingly should be him?

In her past life, her mind was muddled. She tried to get rid of the outstandingly beautiful husband that she didn’t want, was victimized by slag men and cheap women, and her most trusted friend brainwashed her. In the end, she found people rebelling and friends deserting (isolated and alone).

In this lifetime, all of the evil people scheming and longing for her divorce should yield. Sorry but this young miss’s IQ is on the line!

First lets set the parameters of what this novel is. It's an action soap opera/romance with a rather over powered main character. The ML is also OP and extremely yandere and controlling. There's a considerable amount of abuse and violence as well. If any of those are deal breakers for you stay away from this novel, you won't like

If the above aren't a problem for you, then chances are good you will enjoy the novel. It looks like it's going to hit all the tropes in Cnovels. Second chance, vampire... more>> relatives, girls reputation, entertainment circle, Martial arts, OP in school, wealthy people that make Richie Rich look like a pauper you name it it's there and I am only about a 10th of the way into the novel.

What it doesn't have is character development, realistic relationships, or realistic plot elements. It moves along from trope to trope at a brisk pace. One moment she is dealing the psycho ML, the next she is being ostracized at school, the next it's the criminal relatives. From my point of view these are all well done. Nothing has dragged so far.

Bottom line: If you want a really escapist novel that moves along really quickly this is a fun read. <<less

I basically wandered around this story due to positive reviews, even though I skipped this story for countless times. However, how should I know that I was right to ignore it in the first place. Let me tell you! It's absolutely tr*sh as pure as garbage can be. How can any1 justify a r*pe victim should be united with its r*per..... It is absolutely not okay I don't know who thinks this way they should immediately visit psychiatrist it's not healthy way of thinking. I got so anxious just reading... more>> this story till halfway, this story should be tagged in horrors not some bullsh*t like yandree or love at first sight. Period. This type of thinking gotta stop right away. <<less

I've read the raw version using Google translate and although it might not be accurate, I still get the gist of the story. I must say, it keeps getting interesting as you read more. I can understand why some reviews said this is horror and abusive judging from the male lead character in the beginning, but from what I've read so far, there are reasons why he became like that.
Spoiler

And I found that the female lead identity is a lot more complicated than what it seems and only the male lead seems to know the truth. But the chapter hasn't come to that point yet so I'm also confused. But tbh, I like the male lead more and more as I read through the chapters. As for his possessiveness, if it weren't for the female lead continuous rebellion, he wouldn't be that possessive. But now, he's getting so much better. He can't let her go because I think they have a past together but it seems the female lead lost her memory or something. And from what I understand, he kept her by his side is also a means of protection for her because many people came to assassinate her in her past life but she was still alive only because he was protecting her all the time.

Really surprised this novel gets such high reviews. The scenario is something out of a horror movie. The ML is pretty much psychotic, locking the MC in his house, telling her whether or not she can go to school, who she can be friends with, etc. Etc. Dunno if this is some sort of fantasy women have, but it's severely damaged.

Anyway, for the novel itself, it seems the author is just winging it. All of a sudden, plenty of chapters into the story,... more>> it's revealed the MC has a perfect memory since it would be convenient for face slapping during tests at school. Now she's having nightmares about killing people and can direct people where to strike during a fight, which im sure will lead to her being some sort of ridiculous super soldier or something.

At leat I can say the translation is done well, minus a star for the tiny chapters. Pretty sure the translator cuts them up and names them himself, as one time he named a chapter after a quote in the novel that didn't happen until the following chapter. Seems like a slip up.

Willing to change my review years from now when the novel is done translating as maybe it'll get better. <<less

This novel is good as of now. Not only is the translation very good, but the story is enticing as well. I loved how simple the chapters were as I couldn't stop reading them all and I'm still wishing for more.

The story is about the MC who wakes up to find herself 7 years in the past.

So really give it a try, it's worth it.

Thank you translator for this novel, it's amazing♥

I have to come clean: the fans for the manhua got me good.

I'm looking for a new manhwa/manhua rec right, and see people list out this novel's manhua as a rec. I said "alright I'll bite, " not remembering why I passed this novel in the first place.

First chapter and the r*pe happens, but I continue because the manhua/novel readers are like "this is the biggest regret ML has and don't worry, he's actually soooo caring and cares for her so much." So I said "alright I'll let it pass... more>> for the redemption."

150 chapters of the manhua later (about 1000 chapters of the novel), the ML is still irrelevant and the FL is still OP. I've read all the spoilers on the manhua site by commenters who've read the novel, and I still don't understand the hype behind all the characters. The ML is literally a plank of wood - he's just there to look pretty and be possessive. He's a stagnant character from him kidnapping her all the way to leaving her "for her own good" back to the Independent State. Homegirl is getting closer to the truth, and she's always been pretty smart, but I'm not following this for another 100+ chapters to get to their past.

Continued gripes based on spoilers read:

Spoiler

The romance is messy, messy, messy. You can't say you love someone while hiding yourself/your identities at the same time - even for their own good. I can't believe the ML messes up time and time again without trusting the FL. I can't even begin to pinpoint when she started falling in love with him again after the memory masking situation.

I think this novel is fairly old so ofc we get a tragic and loving 2ML character. 2tragic4me; take your tiny violins somewhere else.

[collapse]

Spoilers if you're curious about what's happening but don't want to read 2400 chapters:

Spoiler
  • FL gets reborn but the reincarnation just helps her with making better decisions, I don't think it really gets addressed.
  • So she decides to correct her life path, which includes following along with the ML who kidnapped her.
  • The biggest twist is that the FL and ML are actually from another country called the Independent State and they're both super powerful people. But they don't know because of hidden identities!
  • Anyway, tragedy (misunderstanding) strikes the FL's fam situation and she asks the ML to make her forget her memories. At this point in time, they're actually in love with each other after the 2ML (FL's fianc
) pushes her away because he has a terminal illness.
  • So ML makes her forget her memories (hypnosis was involved I think?) while putting in a (dead) girl's memories into her. She assumes the role/life of that dead girl, Ye Wanwan.
  • But anyway, all of that gets uncovered while FL slowly gets her memories back and ML looks pretty on the side.
  • Their marriage at the end is super chaotic.
  • Oh! And back when they fell in love in the Independent State, they had a child. ML didn't know about it so ofc the chance of a misunderstanding pops up again.
    [collapse]
OVERALL

This feels like a fanfiction. The author managed to put so many different arcs in one (entertainment industry, school/classroom bullying, assassin/mercenary leader, martial arts leader, memory-masking and actual past), and I'm not about to stay to unravel the ML and FL's like 10 different identities. I thought this would be cute, and maybe I would have liked it in middle school, but 2400+ chapters is damn tiring, man. Onto the next. <<less

*Go to wuxia blog or box novel to read the fully translated book*

OK so I see that there are tons of horrid reviews that may be discouraging but to those that are interested GO FOR IT! This is a super plot twisty book with tons of fun and unexpected things happening. I was expecting a typical face slapping nonsense (which I love) but danggg it actually had some substance. The face slapping (this doesn't have instant face slapping and we have to wait a few chapters before we see the... more>> blood so bite your handkerchiefs people) dies down a little in the later half of the book and it focuses more on our main protagonist finding herself *hint hint*. The book is super duper long but trust me it isn't boring at all.

The male lead is a total yandere so beware if you don't like these kinda guys. The book starts off as him being very very dark and possessive but near the end of the book it was KINDA (and I say kindaish) explained why he is the way he is. He does get better quite early on in the book soooo all is well! The main protagonist is a totally shameless lover of beautiful faces. IT'S HILARIOUS! Read how she coax and cajole our irritable male lead! Both our male and female leads have the OP protagonist halo and have tons of aliases so have fun!

There are some plot holes and not very well explained parts, and the ending was just so-so but overall it was a nice read. So, if you're having a long holiday and have nothing better to do, read this!

Oh and if you're looking for something similar read 'Madam Your Sockpuppet is Lost Again' at Wuxia blog (coz the one of novel update low-key sucks). It's even better than this book! <<less

This was one heck of a journey, full of extreme plots and drama. I was very inclined to drop it at the beginning because of the ML's mistreatment of the MC and indifference towards her feelings, but having read FMHM and falling in love with its extremely absurd characters, I was tempted to read this till the end too just because of the author. It turned out to be very different from my initial impression after all and was worth enduring for so long.

This novel is full of nonsense, yet... more>> quite entertaining at times. The storyline is very simple, yet with so many layers that you start forgetting the actual beginning of the story by the time you reach midway. There are a whole lot of plot holes that it would take forever to mention every single one of them, so I will only mention some of the ones that irritated me the most.

The characters are all for comedic purposes. There is usually so much noise that my head starts to hurt even without actually hearing their gibbering. Most side characters are only there for us to see the ML and MC flexing on them while face-slapping to their heart's content. The public opinion is tr*sh, and there are nonsensical people unreasonably insulting and looking down on the MC all over. They are all looking forward to giving the MC and the ML a hard time. However, to their disappointment, the MC is ever so capable, and all the luck in the universe is on her, so the hardships she faces are all resolved smoothly no matter how long they are dragged on for. The villains are very simple, and they either meet their demise or turn to the MC's side pretty quickly.

All right, my grievances for this story are too long, so before I get on with that I need to get something straight. It's not that I hate the tropes I've mentioned so far. FMHM was the exact same in these aspects, and even the characteristics of the interactions were very similar. I do love FMHM, and I do find these gags fairly entertaining, enough to keep me going despite dragging on for too long. Therefore, I am not really complaining about them in this story either.

The love between the ML and the MC is unshakable, and no matter how much it is challenged by trials, they pass without fail. The male lead is very possessive, but he is frustratingly taciturn. The handful of times he expresses his affection are regarded as the most precious treasure by the MC, making me feel sorry for her. He has so few lines throughout the story that it's always a miracle whenever he speaks. Despite being so manly and glorious, he lets the MC do all the flirting and the progress their relationship. He prefers expressing his affection with his actions by protecting her behind the scenes instead of being straightforward, so he is easily misunderstood. The author rarely lets us have an insight into his reactions to her actions and his actual feelings. And the most frustrating of them all is how rarely he actually appears in the story! Most of the story compromises of the adventures MC goes through as she recovers her memories and identity, and we only get to get momentary glimpses of their interactions in-between. There are all kinds of things happening all over, and at every turn, I nervously anticipate what their interaction will be like after all the revelations, immensely wondering the consequences, only to see the scene skipping to the next with everything put aside!

It starts off very disturbing. The MC is clueless while the ML is too indifferent and cruel toward the MC. Of course, we get to have an understanding of the real reasons behind his behavior as the story progresses. However, it was still frustrating to see him disregarding the MC's feelings. Like the beginning of the story when the MC woke up and found her body full of bruises after the first time ML forced himself on her. Or the one time he confined and choked the MC when he found out about MC supposedly going to the hospital to visit her fiancé. Or her previous life where he confined the girl in darkness for several years, abusing her and making her fear him endlessly. How he forcefully made her watch him mu*dering and torturing people as she fell sick from fright, despite knowing how scared she is... No matter how possessive and cruel he is, how could he bear to hurt her like that? How could he bear to see her in pain? Hadn't he erased her memories to relieve her from her suffering, because he couldn't bear to watch her writhing in despair in the first place? Then how could he bear to make her so aggrieved? Even as we learn how much he treasures the MC, I just can't forget those fragments of the past.

Even if we ignored how insensible the ML was, the MC wasn't any better either. We only see her running her mouth with sweet-talks to coax and pacify the ML, getting jealous and fuming with rage whenever she encounters love rivals, and so on. However, we don't ever get to see her sincerely expressing her feelings of love. Sure, she says countless times how much she loves him. However, I can't help but expect more heartfelt actions from her to open herself up in this kind of story. She didn't even tell him how she was reborn. As I said before, extravagant displays of affection and fluff are nice and all but the lack of sincere interaction we see is really disappointing for me.

Her ridiculousness is also on another level. Why on earth did she give birth to the child secretly? Why did she disappear abruptly for several months after falling in love with him? The timeline of the story is sometimes very confusing. Did she stab her grandfather after giving birth? Why did she leave her child then? MC's master at the academy told her that she hid her pregnancy from the ML because she suspected him of hiding his identity, but it really doesn't make sense as nothing else is revealed. It was such a huge disappointment on my part as I was looking forward to the unraveling of the truth behind these mysteries. Even the ML never questioned it!

I can't really be blamed for comparing this with FMHM. In FMHM, the ML was passionate, and he always respected the MC whenever it came to her decisions. We saw him determinedly chasing after the MC, trying to make her fall in love with him. Although he was also a man of few words, he didn't let so many misunderstandings pile up, and he expressed his sincere emotions unreservedly. We watched as their relationship grew from scratch, how they fell in love with each other as they got to know the other. On the other hand, in this one, we never got to get actual insight into how their relationship progressed in the beginning. Just small glimpses of memories here and there. The ML never distinctly chased after the MC, he actually played hard to get in the beginning when they first met and simply terrorized the MC with coercion after she lost her memories! When he believed she didn't actually like her, he either distanced himself from her or intimidated her instead of trying to win her heart! He is too moody for anyone to handle, he literally stops talking whenever he is upset. One thing the MC constantly says is absolutely right, his EQ is too low!

There isn't much to say about the plot twists. As I said, the storyline is truly ridiculous but I don't necessarily hate those gags and twists. It was actually quite fun to try to guess several unfolding layers of twists, and while most were utterly obvious, some of them were surprisingly interesting.

All in all, while some things were extremely disappointing for me, especially after reading FMHM, I still enjoyed this novel pretty much. I like obsessive, possessive, domineering, passionate, caring, and powerful MLs. I love strong MCs too. That's why I kept reading till the end no matter how boring and dragged on it felt at times. The characters were fun and layers upon layers of mysteries and identities were interesting. The ending was too rushed for me because I still needed an explanation for many things. Still, it kept me hooking for several days, and it was a nice read. This author has a somehow unique style, and I probably would like to see more of her works. <<less

Ji Xiuran stood by the sea with his hands behind him, his gentle eyes softly looking at the boundless ocean.

"People believe the ocean is blue, but they don't know the color of the sea is ever-changing, "

Ji Xiuran murmured.

"Sometimes dark blue, sometimes azure, sometimes light yellow, sometimes mahogany. Isn't that true for life as well... "

The man stood with his hands behind him, his clothes rustling from the ocean breeze as he stared into the horizon. His figure seemed to be eternally frozen at that moment.

A long while later, he sat down on the ground as though he was enjoying this last rare moment of contentedness.

An unknown amount of time passed and the ocean waves gently lapped up the spot where the man sat, but he had disappeared.

Looming journey, where to go.
Foreign pictures, admire in three.
Mysterious mortal hearts, well-being your own.
A thousand vicissitudes experienced, regard as nil.
Sun setting west, dusk here again.
Elegant and graceful, burden no more.
Unrestorable time, the grave approaching.
Boundless universe, return to nothing...

This man amazed her ceaselessly. In her heart, he was unrivaled in the world and untainted by even a speck of dust.

However, he remained in the dark and was unable to leave.

In his last moments, the man looked like he was removed from the racket of the world, never to have any burdens ever again.

Burdens he should've had in the past, burdens he shouldn't have in the present, and burdens he wouldn't have in the future.

This man always appeared to be a ball of mystery, never walking out from the fog but never walking into the fog.

Haitang pulled out a USB and handed it to Ye Wanwan. "Your marriage still needs congratulations from one person."

"Who?" Ye Wanwan asked.

"Ji Xiuran, " Haitang replied.

"Ji Xiuran... " Ye Wanwan murmured.

That man still hadn't appeared to this day.

Ye Wanwan immediately met Si Yehan's eyes. Si Yehan patted her hair and plugged the USB in.

Under everyone's watch, the giant screen lit up.

The man appeared to be located inside a warehouse. He was wearing a white shirt with an incredibly familiar and warm smile hanging on his face.

A mere glance was all it took for Ye Wanwan to recognize the setting as the island that once imprisoned everyone.

"Sister Wanwan, hello."

When Ye Wanwan heard Ji Xiuran's form of address for her, she was startled.

Ji Xiuran had always called her Worriless, so why did he call her Wanwan here?

Perhaps because he expected she'd hold her wedding in China, right?

Ye Wanwan kept listening.

Ji Xiuran's lips turned up. "If I guessed correctly, you're probably getting married today, right... "

After saying that, the man faced the camera but remained silent for a long time.

"Congratulations on finding your true home. I believe that your other half can guard and protect you for the rest of your life, " the man continued with a smile a moment later.

"I'm very sorry and regretful I might not be able to personally attend your wedding. But thankfully, there's equipment here that can allow me to leave behind a token to express my congratulations to you."

"You don't need to worry about me. In truth, I've liked someone for a while. I originally wanted to let her live her life without worries, but unfortunately, I shouldered too many burdens. I couldn't fulfill my promise to her in the first half of my life... but I've decided that I will return to her side in the second half of my life and will never leave or abandon her until death strips me away."

"The current me has probably left the Independent State to be with her. She likes ordinariness and placidness, free from the conflicts of the world. This is also the life I wish for."

"Si Yehan, some things are hard-earned. I hope you can treasure it well. If you dare to let down my sister one day, I'll turn you into ashes."

"Wanwan, remember, you must smile no matter what the future holds."

"Farewell"

Below the stage, Haitang sighed softly.

In the end, Ji Xiuran still wasn't able to let go of his final conviction.

Otherwise, why would he call her Wanwan instead of Worriless in his congratulatory video?

He still couldn't call someone else's bride "Worriless"...

NOTE :

On the island, inside the dilapidated storehouse, the man slowly opened his eyes, his complexion pale. He seemed to have had a dream. He dreamed about a first meeting, he dreamed about mutual companionship, he dreamed about loneliness and despair.

Soon, the man fixed his white shirt with difficulty and faced the camera with a warm smile.

"I wish you a happy new marriage."

As the man spoke, a ripple of emotion surfaced in his eyes. He lowered his head, not wanting the camera to capture any of his emotions.

It was a long time before the man faced the camera again.

"Farewell."

Next to the ocean, the man repositioned himself into a more comfortable position. He remembered that he and that girl had also sat next to the ocean like this many years ago and talked about their future as they ate a boxed lunch.

Feeling the breeze from the ocean, the scene of their first meeting started playing again in his mind.

A swordsman had a sword, a scholar had a pen, but from now on, Ji Xiuran wouldn't have Worriless Nie anymore.

It appeared the heavens didn't permit him to be in her future.

JI XIURAN!!!! AHHHH 😭😭😭😭😭...

For u who not understand, The girl that Ji Xiuran falling in love is Worriless Nie, there is flashback when Worriless Nie said that she only want a normal life (and the description is like what Ji Xiuran said) That's why Ji Xiuran call her "Sister Wanwan" Not "Worriless Nie" because same like Haitang said he couldn't call someone else's bride "Worriless"...

The sad part is Worriless will never know that Ji Xiuran is sick (Because he never want to tell her, only Haitang and Skeleton know this secret), That Ji Xiuran always love her back (Only Haitang know this), and the girl that Ji Xiuran saying falling in love in the video message is her, Because until the end Worriless still can't release Ji Xiuran Hypnosis (Hypnosis that make her forget about all the things happend between them, and this the reason why she can't understand all the letter that Ji Xiuran write or the video message that Ji Xiuran give at her wedding...)

The other part that really f*cked up is Ji Xiuran maybe already death, but he not want other people know about it (Especially Worriless) 😭😭😭😭😭 MY HEART CAN'T REALLY² HURT FCK FCK FCK....

Note : Well I think Haitang know that Ji Xiuran already death but at same time I think she not know that Ji Xiuran already death. Because at last time Haitang with Ji Xiuran. Ji Xiuran make hypnosis to make Haitang go... and we not know what kind hypnosis that Ji Xiuran make, is that make Haitang think Ji Xiuran escape or that hypnosis only make Haitang go and that the things about Ji Xiuran that Haitang think only her hypothesis only...

[collapse]

This is my fav scene and im crying a lot when I read it, like wtf this really² sad 😭😭😭

The sun was blazing high in the sky.

The girl was walking while carrying a giant pot, already soaked in sweat.

She used a tree branch to prop the giant metal pot up and threw a lot of the food she stole from the Ji family's kitchen under the pot as bait.

A moment later, having set up the bait, the girl hid behind a giant tree.

She held the rope tied to the tree branch in her hand. She originally wanted to use this giant pot to capture the birds living in the Ji Estate's rear mountain, but not a single bird took the bait after waiting for a long time.

The girl was starting to drift to sleep when a boy holding a book appeared and stopped in front of the pot. He was startled and looked around him but didn't see a single person. All he saw was the pile of food sitting under the pot.

What is this doing here... ?

The boy knelt down and curiously trudged forward with his head sticking out curiously, looking underneath the pot.

The drowsy girl felt movement from the rope in her hand and reflexively pulled it to the left.

A loud "bang" rang out and the pot dropped down. Before the boy could react, he was stuck inside the pot.

The girl excitedly sprinted out from behind the tree and stopped in front of the pot. She shouted with exhilaration, "Wow! Hahaha, I've caught it, I've caught it!"

"Who's there?"

When the girl heard a voice coming from inside the pot, she jolted in fright. "Wow, the bird has honed a spirit! Are you a goblin? You can speak?!"

"Who are you?"

"Hm? Me? My name is Worriless Nie, what about you?"

"... "

Worriless Nie...

Worriless...

At that time, he never would've guessed that he would be trapped by such a clumsy trap.

And this trap lasted his entire life.

Thou shall not judge the story if you only read the fifth of the story.

Though, the second lead syndrome is so strong for me here though. He's not exactly the second lead because he only appeared like less than 500 chapters in the storu but I strongly wished the he had his own happy ending. He did have a peaceful ending but damn, I want a man like him to love me so badly like that.

And Gong Xu!! My god, I ship him with Luo Chen even though I'm not a BL fan but deym, the chemistry is so strong. ?

SYH is protecting YWW from assasinated! That is why YWW died no long after their divorce before YWW reincarnation. This is his sort of protection. Bear in mind his short temper due to insomia that lead to his unstable tenperament which is almost cure because of YWW effort. And there are so many scenes that SYH keep understanding YWW. The rapist part, well, its only in the very first beginning, after that ML keeps controling his self. FL is not having a stockholm syndorme, she have fall in love with SYH before her memory lost. There are so many hidden but not-hidden spoilers in the story yet some ignorant ignore it.

I truly want to enjoy this novel, and when the ML is out of the picture, it certainly isn't difficult to do so. The MC is witty and entertaining, and the antagonist, her best friend, is characterized in a realistically insidious fashion. However, the foundation of 100% Sweet Love is inherently flawed. There doesn't exist a true romance here. Rather, the plot follows the gradual development of the MC's Stockholm syndrome. We're all familiar with the cold-as-ice, detached ML's that are ever-so-popular in the romance genre. There is an... more>> attempt to replicate such a character in this story, but the execution falls woefully short. Yes, the ML is cold and rarely reveals his inner thoughts. However, the ML also acts upon his emotional high-points, and in doing so, reveals a dangerous, abusive side that far surpasses what society would consider socially acceptable. If there were a reason to explain away this bipolar behavior, perhaps these moments would be overlooked. There isn't any such explanation other than the ML is a powerful man that doesn't need to hold back his emotional urges. Other commenters have already made their arguments against the instances of r*pe, domestic abuse, and mu*der the ML commits throughout the novel. I will simply point out that as a character he is completely unrelatable and unlikable. Lastly, I'd like to mention the inconsistency that exists within MC and ML's gradual relationship development:

Spoiler

With the horrors that the MC had spent 7 years enduring at the hands of the ML, how could there possibly exist an opportunity for romance to develop? She is aware of what he is capable of becoming, and his actions even lead to physical harm after her migration to the past. It is an understatement to claim that the romance is unnaturally forced between these two characters.

Despite my critiques, there are some clever plots in this novel, and I am sure there are a variety of people who might enjoy the read. Personally, I cannot help but feel this novel is nothing more than squandered potential.

As the last reviewer (cookieconque) said... Stop giving novels one ratings randomly. Right now this novel is a three for me (a five for potential...).

I was seriously looking through a lot of recently posted novels on here and a lot of the them had ridiculously low ratings despite having less than five chapters. (One had only one chapter... It had a rating of a one point two or something -_-)

Anyway... Rant over. Try this novel. It might be a bit cliche, but it has potential. This MC went through... more>> a lot before her rebirth and she's now trying a different approach. The ML is seriously in love with her, but has issues (imagine every cold faced CEO resembling character who can't show emotions properly -_- *facepalms*)

I'm glad unlike every other girl rebirth story ever... She didn't try and go the humiliate, dominate, cold beauty route.. Ugh... I just can't. Try it. It might or might not be your cup of tea. <<less

For the first 1000 chapters, I’d say a 3/5. It’s your typical cliché of getting reborn, face slapping, falling in love, etc. I wish this part could be condensed into 200 chapters or so. Maybe considered skimming through/skipping parts.

But the second half from around 1000 chapters onward, it’s like the genre completely shifts and it’s AMAZING. It’s super hilarious and I love a lot of the characters that show up. I definitely recommend the second half!

Others said that Si Yehan abused Ye Wanwan in the beginning but the picture isn't really like that, okay?! He's not a bad guy okay?

Actually, Yehan endured so much in Wanwan's previous life because of her, he also died alright? I reckon that someone said that he killed her but she was actually killed by a b*tch, alright?! It wasn't Yehan. And this isn't another case of a Stockholm syndrome because Wanwan wasn't abducted, she orinally came with him from another place but then she had her memories replaced so she thought that she was abducted because she doesn't know him.

People, don't judge this marvelous book without ending it to the very last chapter. The story was splendid and the plot is really good. It's actually one of my favorite so far. I've read it two times already. And believe me, this novel is worth the shot. <<less

This was really a fun read--seriously. I laughed aloud multiple times during the main character's escapades. I really loved her antics, her loyalty to family, her creative defiance of constraint and her multiple aliases/identities.

In a completely atypical manner, I neglected IRL responsibilities and read through the night twice [i.e. Lost sleep] because I didn't want to stop reading. Normally I'm pretty disciplined, I just set aside an hour or two/day at most. That complete abandonment in itself testifies to how much I enjoyed this.

So if I liked it so much,... more>> why didn't I rate this a 5/5? There were a few plot holes-moments when people were encountered or mentioned and never followed up with. They were annoying, but not overwhelmingly so. I would definitely rank this a 4.5/5 if I could. After all, the translation was fantastic.

I read a couple of the negative reviews and just stopped. Within the context of these novels, I think some tropes are to be expected. And there were plenty here. But the story was engaging and fresh within that 'willing suspension of disbelief' mindset. The worst thing about this novel is its cover. I almost didn't start reading because it seemed so insipid to me. <<less

Okay, I made this account to review cause I'm pissed at people bashing a good novel without giving it a chance. Listen this is gonna be a bit spoilery but.. please read for a fairly accurate review...

  1. Misunderstandings in the novel
  1. ML being so possessive has a good cause
    Spoiler

He has a very long past with the MC and is trying to protect her from being assassinated by a ungrateful bit*ch. The MC mind you, ASKED for this. ASKED! She was traumatized and gonna die. The ML gave up his lover and child simply for her safety. Even if she hates him in his ignorance. Him raping her was his biggest regret in latter chapters and even that was explained. Not the cliche "oh I misunderstood and will take responsibility" explanation. The MC and ML already have a freaking child

    [collapse]
  2. Yes. What the ML did to the MC was wrong. But she asked for it. Not in like her behavior but literally asked him to do it
    Spoiler

    before her memory was replaced.

    [collapse]
  3. The falling in love part was pretty gradual. She never loved the other guy. I have my reasons for saying so. It will be explained latter in the book. Si Ye Han was her love. Plus
    Spoiler

she was a play girl lol

    [collapse]
  4. The martial arts is not sudden or the author increasing chapters. Rather they are well placed fore shadowings disguised as plot holes
    Spoiler

hell before losing her memories she was one of the strongest people in existence

    [collapse]
  5. Well that's it about misunderstandings I guess
b. Cons (cause it's better to know the fault before the pros)

  1. The ML is a bit... Okay a lot overbearing at first. But trust me it gets better and is explained much better than those mostly shitty CEO novels
  2. Some things may seem sudden. The antagonist are pretty standard for start of the book.
  3. The MC has a lot of (at the start) unexplained abilities which are explained latter on.
  4. Umm I'm not sure that's pretty much it?
c. Finally the pros

  1. Emperor WanWan is freaking amazing!!!!!!!!!
  2. Cough okay a bit more professional... The story is well written with great translations on webnovel.
  3. The characters show great development both mentally as well as physically
  4. Tangtang is adorable. Period.
  5. The MC doesn't go about collecting a harem.
  6. It isn't a love at first sight thingy
  7. Tangtang is adorable. This is not a mistake.
  8. The story is interesting and the author keeps giving you hints. It has a mysterious vibe to it (though we'll disguised)
  9. Now as important things must be said 3 times. TangTang is ADORABLE.
I can only speak for myself and I loved this book. And I usually don't like modern dramas. So I ask you to give This book a chance. Don't leave in early chapters. You'll love it.

Some people review this story unreasonably. The story of the ML who forced, kidnapped and r*ped FL. Directly corner this story like a garbage that isn't worth reading. Maybe the one who gave this review was not a fan of Jiong Jiong You Yao, the previous hidden marriage story was very great and memorable, and obviously the next story could not have a messy plot.

Well, don't corner the story directly even though a third of the grooves that are read are not finished. The protective and unreasonable ML must have... more>> a reason. This story is final in chapter 2500, but you review less than 500 chaps or more and accuse and slander with the novel's story and plot.

Please, who slandered this novel read up to half, at least above 1500 chap, and you will understand and how the real reason the ML kidnapped the MC, even he was more tormented than the MC.
The ML Si Ye han is the most sincere and greatest character and I like very much. Instead of the ML character of another novel that somehow looks fake than Si Ye Han. <<less

This is my favorite novel that I have read so far. So you can say I was biased but me dropping every other story I had read or skipping ahead just to see a better outcome, I am very judgemental. I have continuously read this without skipping ahead and basically finished the original novel, I'm reading the extras. The reason why I love this novel so much is that it has the same character concept/ storyline, of rebirth and overbearing president BUT the difference is the character/ story development. So... more>> many novels have bullcrap misunderstanding or extremely abusive characters and use love as an excuse or later acceptance. Or the novel have a high s*xual rate where the overbearing president wants to f*ck every other day. There's many reasons why I love this novel. The possessive situation really captured me. Other novels have abusive characters but the difference was they were also verbally abusive. They s*upidly became the way they were from a misunderstanding or they were naturally a d*ck. They always had some other lover or didn't have their priorities straight. The ML literally didn't change, he didn't have an misunderstanding nor did he f*ck her every other day, it took nearly 1500+ chapter laters till they did something, which was vague AF. Only 3 or 2 times did they ever do it 1, the first chapter, which set the story into tone, 2nd a flashback that they did it but basically saying they did it, and the 3rd which was mutally (which I stated was vague af). Reading reviews really frustrated me because they were on less then the 20 chapter or assumed the rest of the story based on other cliche bullsh*t stories. As the author was finishing her novel her updates were slower and she states unlike other novels I can't just write a random chapter and try to make it flow, like other stories that have 2000+ chapter of randomness that literally had nothing to do with the original plot. She said that she had to think about everything from beginning to end and by the end of the novel everything actually comes together. ADVICE IS THAT YOU HAVE TO READ THE STORY TO UNDERSTAND IT. I will give spoilers which aren't just spoilers but will get you interested in the story but will possibly ruin the ongoing excitement. The reason why I'm pointing them out is that so many people are looking at reviews or writing misconceptions about their relationship and the characters themselves. There's a story for everything. Starting from the beginning Ye Wanwan does not have Stockholm syndrome nor is Si Ye Han treating her like sh*t he gets possessive but his feelings were never one-sided

Spoiler

this story is dark and sad but has a twist and satisfying happy ending. We already know that she was reborn meaning she already died. After rebirth she has flashbacks of being in a fire or escaping. People assume that it was from the terrorist attacked she experienced. But the story never states about forgotten memories in the terrorist attack, or in past life. After rebirth shes gaining NEW memories. And she's acting surprisingly different, she's showing new abilities/talents and is relatively more smarter and keen. Starting with their relationship I will mention, why are people bringing up on how she had already loved someone, when he was sh*t anyway? None of them were trustworthy lol. Si Ye Han forces her as his lover you can say. He does sleep with her but it was once, he does attack her but it was once. He also doesn't verbally make her feel like sh*t and it mentions that she does try to look like sh*t but it doesn't work, but it also mentions that she verbally and physically beat him but it doesn't work. The reason why they got a divorce in their part life was because he was about to die (sad).

I am going to mention she literally can't leave Si Ye Han because she will die. He's not doing anything to her, he's protecting her, which is a major part of the story. Not only is her crappy cousin and ex- bestfriend, etc, scheming against her but there's others trying to kill her. Vital, is that him doing this to her wasn't his idea, it was hers. She has another identity, her rebirth of trying to change things was not only revenge she realizes and changes much much more. The real Ye Wanwan

already died attack in the terrorist attack. IF YOU ACTUALLY READ THE NOVEL YOU WOULD KNOW that it never tells how they met. Which frustrated me the first 300 chapters as I was confused. It's because the real Ye Wanwan and Si Ye Han never met before that's the reason the FL doesn't have memory of it, which there is a mention about this in the story.

FL memories were changed and overwritten with Ye Wanwans and she basically took her place. Si Ye Han did do this to her but a major spoiler is that she asked for it. Most stories are ran off of misunderstandings, so if she and Si Ye Han talked it out would things be much easier and solved no, that wasn't an issue because Si Ye Han does not the real reason/ cause of making her want her memories erased.

So no she doesn't have another lover nor did she love someone else. The real her didn't hate him either, it was her memories replaced. She went through something terrible and asked for his help. People say he's too possessive and should let her go but thats not right. Because everyone knows even the FL already knew he loved her for one. And they were genuinely a couple, they didn't fight or have 3rd parties they fell in love with each other and got together normally. Which is a great later on arc in the story.

  1. People say it's Stockholm syndrome because they start getting along and he understands her so well, when he originally abused her (which he never really did). Along with her accepting him so quickly, it was because she realized in her past life and the reason she tried to save him IF YOU ACTUALLY READ THE NOVEL was because he was all she had. Si Ye Han got her everything she wanted, and still treated her better then anyone in his family.
  2. 2x IF YOU ACTUALLY READ THE NOVEL Because this was known really early and a review mentioned on how his family and subordinates don't like her. One thing it wasn't because she was ugly it was because she acted bizarre and s*upid. And none of them wanted her there as the mistress of the family.
  3. She had treated him so bad physically and verbally that it killed his grandma into an heart attack, his grandma's last dying wish was to break up with her
  4. He didn't kidnapp her they were in an actual relationship, where they did have interc**rse before the first chapter, (FL is 4 years older then Ye Wanwan or stated in the beginning)
  5. Si Ye Han literally can't let her go, she'll die

Compare and contrast. The reason why it's tragic is because of her past life. Ye Wanwan was manipulated and her family fell apart. Where all of them were manipulated. Even worst is that they got no closure with their actual dead daughter. Ye Wanwan could of had the simple life she wanted with her lover but do to the circumstances she and Si Ye Han fell apart. I don't really blame any of them, as she didn't have memories or personality (erasing and replacing memories is equal to basically killing the person as they become completely different) of before and he was protecting her. FL actual family would never found what happened to her, like she disappeared, and a lot of misconceptions, hardship, and drama, would of never been revealed. This is what would have happened in her past life.

I didn't really reveal as much spoilers as I thought because a lot of this is revealed in the very beginning and doesn't reveal the now action packed and answers to the rest of the storyline which ultimate start 990+ chapters afterwards. So this is before then and I basically only clarified there relationship. Like I said the tragic part of it is FL past life she'll eventually change everything and their relationship is the least problem in the story. There's no breaking up then getting back together and breaking up all over again. If there's one thing in this story you don't have to worry about, it's there relationship it's a smooth ride. And the Ye Wanwans crappy ex-bestfriend, boyfriend, and, not even her real, cousin is not very important or much trouble. PLEASE READ THE STORY. ITS VERY SMOOTH THE DEVELOPMENT IS GREAT THE MORE THEY REVEAL STUFF IT'S LIKE DANG I SHOULD OF KNEW.

Ye Wanwan is interested in creating a management company, but she can't do that until she makes name for herself so she can recruit artists. She starts out by getting into her family's enemy company by saving the reputation of an A-list actor. As she navigates through the company WanWan meets a couple of artists worthy for her company: Han Xian Yu, Luo Chen, and Gong Xu. Each of them has a distinct and entertaining personality, especially Gong Xu (he is a riot). However I as much I love them, the overdose of testosterone is getting annoying to me. Hopefully, WanWan starts to recruits female artists. Potential ones she might poach: Qiao Ke Xin and Jiang Yan Ran
