Ark the legend is full of twists and turns, as well as being hilariously witty it also has comparatively faster updates making ark one of the top novels out there being translated into english.

Far superior to the previous Ark. While it is partially a sequel to the previous story, it would be more enjoyable to skip the first book and read this instead. The author is actually witty with his writing this time around which makes it a lot more interesting in comparison to the last book.

I'm surprised at the rating and some of the reviews for this novel. Honestly seems like Ninthlite did not give the story a chance before deciding not to read it.

I think this story is worth 4 stars.

The sequel isn't as good as the first. The first had better pvp fighting and quest, and the sequel picked up the blandness from the latter half. Still, its a good read. Ark's goal, setting, life station, and out look on life are all different, so it interesting. Still I don't get why everyone is comparing it to LMS.

I've read LMS and the only things remotely similar are getting hidden classes and making money. Even the game system and npc realism are different. And in Ark the main character won't... more>> make it rich till the end and its a incomparably modest amount than Weed's fortune. And in this sequel Ark's goal isn't even money. Everyone who made a review comparing the two either forgot what happened in LMS, or are unable to see any vr game as anything other than a copy of LMS. <<less

A great novel that needs to be picked up.

One review points some unbelievable things about the AI from the story which aren't true or mistaken.

Spoiler

They did not make the AI, but recovered it from the game from the previous novel. They did try to enhance it and use it for military purposes though. It's incredibly s*upid, but a logical choice from s*upid governments who think an AI is just a tool no matter how intelligent and malicious it is. Something like a kill switch seem absolutely necessary for such an AI and they probably had something like it, but it probably isn't so simple once an AI makes it to the network and a self evolving AI at that. And lastly they didn't upgrade the AI for a game, but military purposes.

Haha, I'm back after rating Ark. Ark the legend is a follow-up of Ark. But now, the comparisons to LMS are gone so from a 3, it goes to a 4. The universe has changed and it's now in a sci-fi universe.
From volume 1 to 6, the build-up is slow, I almost quit the novel when he was grinding. It's now getting better. The atmosphere has gotten interesting. I can even say that the Ark took a turn for the better thanks for ripping off Star Wars.

Introduction of Light Sabers and Force. It talks about being chosen to save the galaxy. Well, you get it...

His family being not as much present than before and the love interest seems to be going somewhere this time so Ark The Legend saved itself from being the utmost sh*t that it started to be in the first volumes.

Ark has still the same problems. The MC getting in a pinch and ends up miraculously alive, but... it's getting better than before. Thanks to the new universe, Ark transformed into an enjoyable read. <<less

I am still waiting for someone to pick this up... I've left it for years and it hasn't been updated since.

I enjoyed the previous one and I want to enjoy this, since I like the ideas that have been put into it. I want to read it. It feels like it's been axed... but no it's just there! Left in the abyss of untranslated works...

I've read novels that are worse than this but those got translated to completion... why!?!? Why is the world so cruel?

Honestly the game is good the gaming aside from the grinding is good, the abilities of the game are good. It has a very strong sci-fi Star Wars feel which is good. But the actual story of Lucifer is s*upid. Who makes a artificial intelligence that is stronger than anything on a digital scale, that wants to beat the users through any means necessary. But put literally no fail safe in it or a kill switch of sorts. Now look greedy government and s*upid developers of Lucifer could cause the... more>> death of millions because their s*upid. Finally all this just for some games. <<less

This novel is different from the usual game fantasy novels. It is in a SCI-FI setting and not in the usual medieval setting. The story might not be as good as Haroon, but overall it is a fun novel to read. It might be because the setting changed, but it includes a lot of unique plot as well as items, skills, etc.

I don’t know how to feel about ark’s sequel.. It feels like the author rushed the ending on the previous one and is now trying to figure out a way to close up all the loopholes he left in the previous novel. While it’s still a good read for a vrmmo, I would honestly like to see more real life interaction.. Last novel we left with 2 love interests and him somehow gaining a mastercode and money’s no longer a problem.. Where does it leave this one..

Meh anyways I do... more>> recommend this if you liked the first one. <<less
