The high school girl Manami who had fallen down the emergency stairs at school had, before she noticed, become a three year old in the world of an Otome Game. What’s more, that little girl was one of the rival characters that appeared in the game; the can’t-take-a-hint-burikko-type-rival daughter of a marquis family. What awaited her at the end was social obliteration. Though she did get a bad feeling about this… Manami decided not to worry! It was a dream after all, so that had nothing to do with her. For now, she’s going to master magic! Hooray!

Perhaps I may be getting ahead of myself for rating this very low so early in the story, but seeing as this story is discontinued, does ratings really matter at this point? Anyway. Although I rated it two stars, it would've been only a single star rating if it weren't for the strong first few chapters in the beginning.

To be completely honest, the start of the series had made me very excited.

    1. MC came off as a high school girl who had her fair share of schemes and had a realistic amount of understanding of the human heart. I thought her sense of self-justice and determination were admirable traits.
    2. Although she foolishly thought of her circumstances as a dream, she showed an above-average intelligence. She knew how to camouflage into her environments in her past life and her current one. She was also able to adapt and understand that she needed to change the path that she was currently walking.
    3. The supporting characters (such as MC's father, Soleil, Achille, Royce, etc.) had their own individual quirks that were unique to them.
Probably... the turning point (at least for me) that had me constantly dissatisfied is after MC and ML got engaged and then it just went downhill from there. I slowly began to realize that the individual quirks that I thought made the characters so appealing at the start quickly became what made me feel like it was a struggle just to read through each chapter.

I'm putting the rest of this review in spoilers because I went off unintentionally and am too lazy to delete it. Read at your own risk.

Spoiler

I have many disapproving points for many of the characters, but since this story mainly revolves around the MC's POV, then I'll focus on her. If I can't stomach the "main" character, what's the point in continuing? What really got me riled up about her, though, was her character "growth" (or lack thereof).

As the years progressed in real life, the years in the MC's mind remained almost stagnant. Meaning: she acted out her body's age, but her mental age, regrettably, remained that way. Rather, it seemed like she regressed in age as she grew up.

Moreover, I'm always hesitant whenever I see a "Dense Protagonist" tag. There's a difference between being dense, and just being an idiot.

History's not my greatest subject, so I can understand MC's reluctance for studying in that direction since she would have to start from scratch. But that is truly no excuse. She could be as clueless as she wanted regarding emotional matters, but did she really have to be an idiot as well? Wasn't she a high school student? Surely she'd have more determination than that?

It's already frustrating enough reading how MC stumbles through life with no common sense, at least let her have some kind of redeeming quality... err, but she doesn't have any though?

This MC has low EQ, low IQ, and although she has talent in magic, she's not that great at that either apparently??

I mean, somehow she's able to kill a dragon single-handedly, but she has terrible control over her magic consumption? She nearly knocked herself into a stupor to heal ML with a cure spell, like...? If she was really that terrible in controlling her mana consumption, why is she still alive after that solo fight against a mighty and dangerous dragon?

[collapse]

TL;DR-

Honestly, I can't tolerate the MC anymore. I love a character with flaws, but the character herself is basically a walking flaw. I can't really notice any good points about her anymore.

Maybe she fixes herself later on, but... Author-sama, I'm genuinely confused about how this MC is still alive. Absolutely bewildered. I don't know what circumstances caused this story to be discontinued, but at least it gives me another reason to stop before I get even more frustrated.

The first great transmigration villainess story I read. 5 Stars just for the 1st arc--the MC and ML are super cute and funny to read about, the romance is adorable, and the MC is a dense badass. Definitely something I'll reread.

At first it was Super good but somewhere at the middle when the Fiance became overprotective of the Female MC it became s*upid. Why? Because the Female MC is a professional which is also s*upidly strong that can kill a dragon alone but after she got engage with the ML she became a dog that can't do anything without Her owner's permission.

The ML being possessive and protective of his love one is understandable but a noob leading a pro is just dumb and s*upid I even wish for a love... more>> triangle for someone to take the Female MC away!

Well just wish for future development. <<less

This is definetely good. It's different than the usual otome games novel.

For once, the female lead is really dense. But it's very refreshing because she doesn't just focus on thwarting her bad end, but she just focus on improving herself. She even denied that reality for a bit. Furthermore, she doesn't fall in love with one of the 'capturable' characters!

Then, I really love her love story and the male lead. He's so loyal and patient.
Spoiler

I'm really excited that they got married. But too bad, this story is R-15. I want it to be R-18 for that part lol

I'm so glad this doesn't turn out to be those kind of reverse harem story. I don't really like harem, after all.

But I really don't like the one who became the heroine. She sounded so s*upid and egoistic. I think that she is becoming the antagonist instead of remaining as the heroine.

But still, I love the premise of the world. And I love the part with Q of hearts and J of hearts!

I'm in love with this story but it hasn't been updated in while. The translator has some other projects in the works that I love as well. Though I sigh over this one I'm still excited when the others update. I reread the current chapters often.

Funny like Reika sama but MC is a bit brain damaged. However, forgiven because she fell down the stairs and hit her head enough to die before reincarnating so could be leftover damage from that, you know?

But honestly, love the author's courageous depiction of the more mature scenes. Achille x Camille was hot and I also was looking forward to Royce's happy ending with spoiler alert person, but too bad this webnovel was discontinued and I couldn't find any free raws : (

I don't normally write reviews but the ones on this are a bit extreme.

Its a romance game magic story.

It's the character personality. Most personalitys don't change after the age of 15.

She removes her tattoos out of respect for her friends and surroundings.

The story is fun and interesting but it's not to my taste. I'm dropping it at ch10 when things are getting more interesting but I wanted to leave this because some of these comments are to extreme.

It makes sense why the webnovel was discontinued. Both of the male leads wind up acting like Edward Cullen from Twilight in the most annoying ways possible.

It's a shame because the outside story from the romance is really interesting but given this is a romance story to begin with, is a pretty bad problem to have.

When the story began the MC was a lot more likeable, while she was rather childish and prone to danger because of her free spirit, she also had personality, clear goals, and a near unshakeable will. Nowadays she's being collared and controlled by all of the people around her, all of her supposed friends and allies and even her maids. She's become a very pitiful MC and it's honestly painful that I thought the author would rectify these mistakes but instead made them worse.

The "feelings" she has for ML seems... more>> like some sort of stockholm syndrome and nobody in the story seems to have any issues with it and in fact most people are supporting this disgustingly possessive, overbearing guy because he's apparently manipulated more than half the characters in the story into thinking of him as this amazing person. The fact that the MC has soloed dragons and krakens since the time she was a child seems to have no bearing on the fact that everyone treats her like she can't do anything and needs this guy to lock her up in a house where no one but him can hurt her.

It's a real shame that the MC's character actually managed to regress over the course of the story and that her "love interest" continually pushes her more aggressively every time they're together because the story is actually quite good. There are a large variety of interesting characters each with their own personalities, ambitions, motivations, and circle of friends that make for a very interesting world with a lot of possibilities. <<less

I really love this novel!!! I think that is really pleasing to read. I like the protectiveness of the ML... even though can get to some extremes, I don't mind that much. The protagonists are super sweet with each other and I screamed quite a lot while reading this novel xD I just hope that the translation can continue

I really enjoyed this novel at first but I've come to not. Usually I like the whole switch of POV's but it gets very repetitive very quickly. The MC ends up not feeling like the MC and I just don't like it. Besides that the main lead although being cute and OP at first becomes very annoying very fast. Plus the male MC is the typical possessive, "I own you" guy. Not super impressed even with the so called twist of

multiple characters reincarnated as game characters.

Throughout the story, I'm not sure if the MC is really the MC. Too many pov as well which for me aren't really that necessary which devoid the readers something to mull over. And there's the fMC. After a while her character became stagnant. No more charac. Development (and that's also the reason why I sometimes question whether she's the mc).

After they enter the academy I lost interest in the story.

Started out pretty great, nice translation. Tomboyish MC who devotes herself to magic studies and becomes so powerful it's mentioned she kills a dragon by herself when she was 6 years old.

However I was creeped out that the MC (a high school girl) swapped bodies with a 3 year old baby and they even seem to exchanged mental ages? The side story talks about how the 3 year original Otome girl is now in the MC's older Japanese body. Then mentions how she gets a lover after a year, making... more>> her mentally 4 years old in a grown up body.

The MC doesn't even realize her childhood friend was in love with her until he told her repeatedly and forced her to hear it! She is somehow both the strongest magic user around but also the damsel in distress. I had to drop this novel when the MC had to be rescued yet again because she didn't have her magic tattoo or drank wine becoming so helpless she was almost r*ped. The MC's love interest is more like an abusive husband by his constant spying and keeping tabs on her like she's an invalid. The story also drops pretty much everything set up in the first ~2 volumes in favor of multiple povs of the having the MC be rescued by her lover then act all embarassed over and over again. <<less

The MC is only focused on improving herself and learning magic. You could say misunderstandings occur because she is just so focused on magic. Her fiance is a bit overprotective of the MC and tries to protect her from everything. ^-^;;; A very lighthearted read for this type of novel. No reverse harem is certainly a bonus.

There's so many things I can retort in this novel.

First off, what kind of 5 yo seduces girls!? And what kind of 5 yo says "I can arrange it."!? And also, what kind of 3 yo keeps her composure after transmigrating and starts dating a HIGH SCHOOLER after 1 year!? I have quite a lot of tolerance to "smart and mature type children" characters, but this is just too much.

When I got to chapter 7, the tone suddenly got really serious, and the MC starts having serious life contemplations out... more>> of nowhere. The author probably wants the MC to realize that the world is not a dream during that chapter, but it seems like he doesn't really know how to do it, so the contents came out slightly forced.

The characters aren't very good either. The MC is just carefree, and sometimes serious. The ML is calculating, but calculating isn't a personality. But other than that, the ML doesn't have anything else. And the crown prince... lol, he doesn't even show any thing similar to a personality.

also:

Spoiler

When the MC got stabbed, it didn't show her father's response. When she woke up, the author only makes the ML by her side and ignored all the other characters.

This novel is okay at first, but gets boring very quickly. <<less

started out good but the characters are becoming annoying; the MC is supposed to be strong but due to plot and her carelessness is tossed about like a ragdoll to suit the mood. ML is overbearing and creepy after getting engaged to the MC and didn't actually take her in mind. Not to mention theres all these goddamn kidnapping subplots where f*ckall really matters- strong characters? Overpowered immediately! Swarms of goons? Taken out as soon as one or two more characters arrive to rescue the dumb f*cks.
