An Luo’s life took an unexpected turn when he found himself reborn as the young master of a prominent business family after a disastrous accident. I am not quite sure why some people have rated this story so poorly since it is very well written. To be completely honest I do not particulary like in*est but once I started reading I was hooked and had to finish the story in one go. I was put through an emotional roller coaster reading this novel let me tell you. The author conveys the feelings of the characters so well I didn't even mind the plotholes. There are of course quite a few of those but the overall... more>> development of the story is very good. So you might want to check out this not so typical rebirth story. <<less

I really really really want to read this but I couldn't make it past the first 3 pages.

Seriously, Webnovel translators have got to stop putting everything through ChatGPT!

It's actually a nightmare that every word went through a thesaurus, every noun has an adjective, and verbs have adverbs.

Please. Who TF still uses dated language like "Many moons later" (we are not in LoTR) and "midnight abyss" instead of "nightmares" 🙄 see quotes below:

Tbh I really wished An Yang's soul would be reborn too but you know what rather than someone to abuse MC I'd rather someone abusing themselves for MC.

Very cute so far, I looooove in*est stories (including not related by blood ones) !!! I really hope all the brothers are good people... Tbh I also wish MC were the younger one lol

The story is about An Luo who live in his pass and present life. He has lost memory. There a lot of secret about An Luo life and his family. The story is good if youre into drama life... but there a little bit a love story here... There another person who had one side love... ah the story was never tell about them

  1. It's actually not an in*est story let me clear up that first you'll know why as you read the story

    cos the MC's mom already split with the ML dad and already had a kid which is the MC. The MC is the kid of her and another guy which she falls in love with at the later part of the story. Similarly, the ML's dad met his now ML's mom in a party and got married after and then the ML was born. The MC is not biologically related to the ML at all. It's basically like the MC was brought in and cared for only. Like yknow childhood friend.

But in fact the MC lost his memories that day after the accident so he was unable to return home. By the time the adopted grandfather tried to find tht kid... that villian already "adopted" him.

It was a refreshing take on Rebirth and soul transfer. With intellectual plot twists and apt dose of intense emotions plot line was executed harmoniously. Though there were few plot holes, but they were few :D and not big enough to hinder in any way.

I wanted there to be more chapter towards the little brother later introduced in the story. As is the case with good stories... can't get enough of it :).

Action, drama, angst, ML n MC both are not flat two dimensional characters.

Some plotholes, yet this is still one of the best written rebirth/reincarnation + BL i've read. The other one was "kill the light" (or something like that). If you are not fujoshi/fudanshi, just skip the steamy parts. Wont disturb your reading.

2 words: Angsty and plot twist

The plot is well written the author does well on stringing along the reader.

Readers have no idea what's the truth plus there's a dog blood in*est relationship.

The writing is well done AND the smut is well written so that gets a 5 star in my book.

Additionally, the author does focus more on the main couple and given that there's only 72 chapters don't expect development with some side characters.

It's really well done!

I've read it through MTL, it's easy to understand. but, oh shit, my heart hurts reading this novel. I don't think this is an Angst novel, but an unrequited love story from MC and ML makes my heart ache. MC is suffering a lot. The plot twist was also very well made, at first I doubted the three younger brothers, but luckily they were fine. In my opinion, ML in this novel is the saddest ML... (in terms of love)

In the first chapter I saw familiar names, Shao Rong... more>> and Shao Changgeng... they are cp from the novel before this novel, the title is family doctor (医生世家).

The cp is the dynamics of father and son (not related by blood). Shao Rong's mother is An Yang's twin sister, which means An Luo is Shao Rong's uncle (MC uke). An Luo, An Yang and Su Zihang are not just ordinary cemeo, but they get into the plot (but don't focus on them). while Shao Changgeng (seme) is An Fei's husband (but they never had a relationship and didn't love each other). then who is Shao Rong's real father? you should read the novel itself.

These three stars only represent my positive views towards the ML (he's the most pitiful out of all characters. Period!) and for the entire story.

Even though this novel do share some things that I don't approve of plus some plot holes but it's only a fiction so nothing seriously to be taken.

However I definitely have a problem with this tr*sh character of MC. I REFUSE TO CONNECT WITH HIM, NOR DO I FIND ANY EMPATHY OR SYMPATHY FOR HIM, AND HE BRINGS NOTHING BUT SERIOUS RAGE INSIDE ME.... more>> Yet reluctantly, yes I admit, he started really great in the beginning but everything went downhill when he started to deal with other characters who are definitely great despite playing their designated positive or negative role. <<less

Guys there is no blood relation between the leads, read chapter 73 and you will understand what I mean.

At first I thought it was a typical rebirth story but when you will read it you will understand it is so much more than that.

Give this a try. It's very interesting

I can't stress enough on how well-written this is. A gem is upon you!

I really didn't expect all of that from it. I was pleasantly surprised. Although I had to MTL it, it still didn't ruin the experience for me. My God, the plot, characters, setting and everything was superb! This will blow your mind. It's different. I loved how it's delivered. I loved everything. Can't wait to reread it after a while!

The NU description of this novel fails to mention how complex the story actually is and that annoys me. I'm glad I glanced at the reviews on this this one. There were many 4 and 5 star reviews and was a better indicator of what the novel is like versus the description.

The MC goes through complicated family dynamics in two lives. In his first life he was a powerful head of an underground organization. In his second life, he wakes up from a near death experience as the grown eldest... more>> grandson of a powerful business family. He is being targeted by someone who wants him dead in this second life. There is a lot of trying to figure out who he can trust, what happened to him, who wants him dead and why. There is an in*est tag and it does play a role in both life times. There was one plot hole that kind of bothers me, but overall it was an entertaining novel and I enjoyed it. <<less

I rarely put up and review but this novel is so good. Very enjoyable and make me finished it in one day straight. First, I thought it is just a reincarnation and soul changing type of novel but the twist really got me good.

I really hate it when I want to read a novel that I like but haven't finished translating. I very often encounter translators who really don't want to translate and stop. So I hope you don't do it halfway and stop halfway. Better sleep than translate if you are only going to disappoint a lot of people

My impression after reading this novel : very mystery

Mc's Past life+One sided MC love to his brother (last life) +Rebirth as new person+Amnesia+Family intrigue +Not So Brotherly love+Gun...

That's the keywords to the twisting plot that everytime I read again still feels so mystery, it's so well written that I think this so logical in my twisted rotten head.

about the in*est content I'm reading. Legally (or on formal papers), MC and ML are committing in*est bc they're brothers in name. However, MC and ML are not blood-related!! MC's mother had a child with another man (her actual love whom she grew feelings for after her marriage) and that child is MC lol
