Happiness of the family >>>>>> World peace!? The curtain rises on another fantasy slice-of-life tale, brought to you by the “Hataraku Maou-sama!” team.

On that day, an emergency family meeting was called to order at the residence of the Kenzaki family, an ordinary family living in Tokorozawa City. A blonde beauty named Dianaze Krone, Diana for short, had appeared from a different world, in the living room of the Kenzaki family. “I, an envoy, have come to summon the Hero of Salvation, Kenzaki Hideo.”

Wait, Hideo is my dad! To think such a game-like situation would fall upon me, Kenzaki Yasuo, an ordinary high school student.

My father is a hero, and he saved a different world in his younger days!? There’s no way I can believe that this ordinary, middle-aged father of mine is a “Hero.” Diana looks at me, “The Son of the Hero” with a gaze filled with longing. My sister who saw that looks at me with a cold gaze… Before bringing back peace to the other world, the peace of our family is in big trouble! What is going to happen to my peaceful everyday life!?

Having 3D characters that think about what they're doing and why they're doing it is usually not a bad thing. In fact, it should be a great thing since it makes the characters more life like like one reviewer mentioned above, rather than the usual b**bs, tits, ass 1D fanservice you get in most LN nowadays.

Some call it having depth, but when it takes a volume and a half before the MC stops whining, stuffing his head down the sand to ignore everything that's trying to change his "wonderful yet... more>> half hearted monochrome life" and pretend all isekai things don't exist and his father is really just talking about an MMO game, I prefer to call it bullshit.

Even then, it takes a mountain and a half of complaining, in-between panting over a long lost, recently met childhood friend despite the dire situation, blushing/flustering every time the blond girl talks, or even looks anywhere in his general direction, together with several chapters of pondering and angsting before he starts doing anything. It wasn't funny after 5 chapters, and it wasn't funny after 1 whole volume either.

The intensity of my dislike for insta-OP herbivore Jap MC's can rival the sun, but I dislike this goddamned coward that outright FIGHTS to remain ignorant just to keep his life normal, even though he describes it as half hearted, black and white, and boring to begin with, even more. <<less

From the creators of Hataraku Maou-sama comes another series that would definitely get you hooked.

There's a bit of comedy, but what made this series interesting are the character's emotions and interactions.

Spoiler

Yasuo and Nodoka both are very anxious of their father going to another world. They have real worries and you could see them work their way around Diana

Just like HataMaou, there is a depth in this series that you would definitely like.

I recommend picking up this series, but not right now. The author has left this book at a lot of cliff-hangers.

Spoiler

I mean in volume 1 its made kinda clear MC likes the blonde girl and then in the volume 3 im not really sure anymore.

Its pretty short but can be considered as fine novel. There are some of unaswered question considering the novel ended in 2vol. 1/2 more volume to explain everything or even time skip to explain what happened might be better. But the time that the author choose to end the story is good so without even knowing all those answer we could still satisfied with the way the story ended.
