Let me warn you guys. After I read this novel I almost couldn't another novel to read it shows you how terrible MLs, FLs and plots. Now whenever I decided to read a novel I remember a similar arc of Quick Transmigration Cannon Fodder's Record of Counterattacks and change my mind.

First arc was a let-down. But arc 2 was great! I suggest either skipping arc 1 or charging through without giving up. Either way, don’t drop the novel before giving it a proper read.

I am guilty of dropping this novel after arc 1 but thankfully picked it up again.

The first arc is definitely tr*sh. I can't believe I manage to survive reading the first arc cause it's utter tr*sh. What romance? There's no romance like the other reviewer said. OP MC? You won't find that here. Smart MC? I gotta say this novel is pretty great, it's a cool twist on the transmigrator cliches. We have a character that straight-mans the situation and is not super OP not he beginning. It's pretty fresh and I know I'm gonna enjoy the ride.

It was not good.. Way below other novels with the same genre first of all in her first travel, it was plain boring. The only interesting arc is the second arc, the rest is just plain idiotic and boring. This having 4.7 review is a miracle probably because its read by idiots

Quite interesting story. We can see the growth of MC from world to world and become more stronger. There is no ML in this story, well the novel genre is not in romance category which for me is quite sad as I love romance and wish for the MC to meet a man worthy of her.

Some comments here almost make me snort. The heroine was in hospital almost all her life, untill she died, means that she's rarely interact with people outside of her family, hospital workers, and other patients. This caused her to not have as much 'normal life' experience like normal people. You expected her to have as much experience as other novels' main character?
The system is not misogynistic, it's looks down on her since she was inexperienced (which is normal for newbies). And statistically, female tend to be emotional and dependent compare to male, especially those who are under 40, due to hormones fluctuations at certain times. Their mother instinct makes them easier to manipulated and be used, too. The system doesn't look down on women for being females, it looks down on their weakness that come from being kinder, more emotional and more dependent than males.
She experienced 'real/normal' life through books and television, which actually are more logical than real life since people are illogical - ask any anthropologist and they will tell you. Thus, she is more logical than normal people, to the point of borderline cold hearted. And since entertainment industry almost revolve around romantic love, she thinks of it as something that supposed to bring you happiness and entertainment, not something worth for sacrificing when the loss is greater than the gain, and looks down on those who are head over heel for someone else.

The character growth in this novel is very realistic, hence, very, very slow compared to other novels.
She is misandry at first, made me almost drop this many times. Really, calm your tits, who sh*t in your rice ? Good thing she growed

I finished two arcs and I have to say that the translation is good. The translator may have exposed their weird moral standpoint during the second arc, but many comments have already called them out where the translator still tried to defend their quite ignorant opinion, so I won't go on about that here.

The MC has a refreshing personality. She is the voice of your typical novel-reader. Her lines always lighten up the mood and it gets comedic whenever she complains when a someone acts so brain-dead. This book is interesting in a way. A bit addictive but I have several problems.

The main character does to much when it is not required and too little when she should have done more.

Ex. In the 3rd arc I think she went to far in her treatment of the Xiao family and her cousin. Especially Xiao Yan and Su Meng. The ending of forcing her naive cousin into prostitution and slipping hormones in Xiao Yan's food to make him obese was not satisfactory. I found it sinister and needlessly... more>> malicious.

In arc 5 she doesn't do enough to stop the rapist men especially Wen Ruhau. He is one of the worst male characters and she basically folds her hands as she allows him to go of the deep end and become a plundering, raping, mu*derous bandit.

If you take a read at the comments, you would realize that those who read the raws have a higher rating than those who got to 500's —which weren't even 500 in the og site.

Wanna know what's inside this book? Just read! My advise so you don't have a misjudgement about that book is to NOT read the comments for now and read the books first. Your first impressions plays a big role on how long you can continue in a story.

And if you really wanna know what to expect... more>> what's inside, why not read the tags? Though it might play out differently in the story. Everything has a reason and seeing the tip of the iceberg is not enough to judge the entire size of the iceberg.

This novel is still updating so we might be reading buddies till the next 20 years, who knows?

One thing some readers who have read for a bit while would complain is the "harshness" of the main character. Let's face it, reality is cruel. Maybe Lady Fortune smiles upon your neighbor and you might take an unlucky stroll, that's just how the world works. The main character deals with facts but does not know how to play with emotions so she avoids to do be deeply involved in relationships and that's a strength some readers won't understand. Look at her in the sidelines, she only deals with characters who are in the way of her task. No one can control you if you don't give them a chance to cross your boundaries. The characters who are birdbrains are suffering, why blame it on her? Fools only learns their lessons by experience... or they don't learn anything at all.

I think, since I haven't delved even half of this story yet, that she is still weak in a sense that she depends on how she knows the future. I hope she will continue to grow to be a strong person who also attains a happy life and not some tr*shy people.

This is always the first novel that comes to mind when I recommend novels, but surprisingly I have not reviewed it.

This is the longest standing read that I've always kept track of, reading every week and supporting at a high level on Patreon.

I loved following Ning Shu from world to world over these several years. She is pragmatic, can be cruel and also kind. I loved it when I got far enough along that characters she helped in other worlds start showing up again.

I will say there are some things... more>> that are shocking or just morally f*cked up. For example, she is not shy about "eye for an eye". For example, a female character who plotted against her she set up to be r*ped. Further along, in a BL world, a large part of her vengeance was specifically to give gay men AIDS. Some of her internal dialogue is a bit bigoted. (I'm trans and gay, definitely a few things stuck out to me.)

Looking at it beneficially, Ning Shu is a "colorblind" type protagonist who is willing to use bigoted public opinion to harm her enemies. Looking at it unfavorably, she is a bit bigoted herself and shows that in how she deals with others.

Given that it happens very rarely, I still like and read, but if that's a big trigger for you then it may not be a good fit.

That said, if you can handle the occasional gaffe, the revenge stories are really satisfying. <<less

The MC is pretty dumb, no matter how much intelligence she added till the later part, she still act in a dumb way. Annoying to look at. The system seems very arrogant and is always looking down and tricking her. No rapport develop between them. Boring.

Unlike any other QT MC who half of their success relies on their romance to their partner, or the cheat system and their charm. Ning Shu is like fresh experience you never had before I laugh so much about her start off Charm equals to 3 unlike all the QT FL I read with high charm, u can see how she struggles to advance... PS even though system 233 betray ning Shu he's still the best system of all the system, Ning Shu and him are perfect for comedy dou

I absolutely love the sarcasm of the MC when handling cliches and the incredibly dumb female and male leads of each story line and love the weak to strong progression of the book. It feels so rewarding to read on as the mysteries of the MC's job is revealed and never seems to get boring due to the changing plots and worlds that the MC jumps into. Also it's so entertaining to see the MC basically f*ck with all the cliche plots of Chinese novels in weird scheming ways.

This Novel is one of the Best Quick Transmigration Novels with the other being Side Character Transmigrations

Main problem is the System, it seems to screw over the MC at every opportunity, it will straight up steal from the MC, transfer them to wrong worlds and wrong bodies and it will even just trick/lie to them to get them into bad situations for what? shits and giggles, honestly if this wasn't a System or QT novel it seems like the type of character to get Faceslapped and forgotten within the first... more>> 100 chapters

Ok, wow.... I’m struggling to finish the first arc right now. I am not a fan of the MC. She is a weak and a huuuuuge pushover and barley talks. I’m really frustrated with her. I came back here to read the reviews because the ratings for this novel is high and I see that lots of people agree that the first arc is tough to get through but MC gets better in the later arcs apparently. Read this a few days ago and now I just can't stop. If you are a type of reader that easily lose interest with the same plot over and over again then this novel was probably made for you. There's always something new that will definitely hold your interest and keep you wanting for more. Also, once you read each arc you'll probably realize that you could read the theme for each arc from other novels and author was like throwing shades about those types which I love because seriously... more>> a lot of novels really have those kind of themes with the male and female halo which most of the time becomes a bit too much and unrealistic. So yeah. Love this.

Also, there were a lot of negative comments about the first arc so a lot of the readers actually commented that they dropped this but I just want to defend this novel and the MC because I really think that it was too unfair because they didn't even give this novel a chance.

So Ning Shu lived most of her life in the hospital because of cancer so she never really knew that much about life. She even said that she never even studied because surviving and staying alive was already too difficult for her. So after she died in that life she got a chance to live as a task taker whose purpose was to fulfill the wishes of those cannon fodders in exchange of a part of their soul. So during the first arc because of some system mistake she immediately went to a mid level sort of task with the MC of that plane having a cultivation. It's like a level 1 noob trying to defeat a pro player with yrs of experience. And the reason they hated it was because according to them Ning Shu was too weak and she needed a man to complete the task?? They probably like those OP MC that could defeat anyone with their heaven defying luck and plot armor so if you're also that kind of reader then this is not for you. The MC took a lot of time and effort to finish her task and a lot of times you would also get frustrated because of how dumb the other characters are but Ning Shu especially during her first arc actually did her best to survive with the kind of miniscule experience she had from her previous life. So even if she hugged a big thigh just to survive that arc I don't think there is anything wrong with that. So if you're reading this please don't drop it just because of the first arc.

I especially love how she holds her ground in times and how there is always a fragile flower needing to be protected by her side. Of course it’s not always around but you get the idea. This is not a romance novel so don’t expect to be fed dog food. The only food your getting is frustration because Ning Shu can never have enough resolve to be a classic task-taker who slaps female leads and never has a weird handsome guy following her to every world. i finally caught up to the recent chapters oh my gosh— while I LOVE qt novels with a bit of romance (ie. scheming female leads who make the ct fall in love and absolutely ruin them lmao) but ning shu shines without an ML (*´꒳`*) it was ironic how her intelligence was really low at first, but she kept giving all her attribute points to martial arts... I really liked the idea of the second one, but the execution didn't make me satisfied T_T I wish she could've stayed an npc till the end for her revenge and not sign up an account to interact with the slag male, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. <<less
