The introduction is pretty bad and the final fight was rushed due to health reasons of the author, but it was a great novel overall and very entertaining. All of the characters were lovable (I’m serious when I mean ALL of them) and some great character development. It has one of the best ending I have ever read. There was not a dull moment when reading it. Please read it, I will definitely be reading other works by this author.

Good story, but the writing quality diminished around 3/4 before the end of the story. The author said that he's kinda sick therefore need to finish the story as it is before going to the hospital, but I think he better go to hospital first and hold the story until he gets better. The fans would understand that.

The story is rather untypical anti-hero, without unnecessary violence and gore, and interesting plot regarding how the main character progression from mediocre to strong.

I dont have any regret reading this.

This novel has the title of Dungeon, and MC that rebirths and goes back to reclaim his life again, and he's a demon trying to be a Demon King. Usually, this kind of premise, alw feature one thing that I hate, really really hate, harem. The exposure of fanservice, and it's easy to see almost all (novels&manga/hua/hwa) will certainly be filled with women and how they will flock ard the MC.

I dont mind with too OP if it's done moderately and with reasonable OP,... more>> and somehow still can make me thrill to know how MC can escape his predicament.

And I was rly skipping in joy, when MC as demon does not show any kind of lame 'mercy' or kindness toward human. He's not helping human coz anything he just wants to use them to achieve his purpose, it's not a win win situation, and he doesnt care and doesnt view human as capable in touching demon. He'll kill those who attack him even if it's human and even if he knows them. And this trait doesnt change untill the end.

But MC shows changes in his behavior towards his dungeon creatures, his subordinates that rly loyal to him, and vice versa.

We often see in other story with the same theme, MC will helplessly follow/do whatever the human/anyone that asking for help that benefits them more than MC. Or just because they are human, many author will create roundabout way for MC not to kill them. That's.... lame. Here, MC will do his own calculations of what not consider a betrayal, what he cares is his own purposes and his own benefit. He also doesnt let anyone dictate him, whether it's those in power higher than him and he's not afraid of other demons not because he has more power or not, he's just overly confident with himself.

But, yeah, I wish the author not ended this in such rush. However since it's been a good reading, the rush ending didnt bother me at all, coz overall almost all the chapters were really satisfying. For such theme I feel satisfied, and might read it again.

tldr I prefer this than dd, simply perishing or any demon+dungeon story <<less

Not a bad story, but it has a few serious problems.

For one, there are tons of time-skips. It feels like half of the story is spent trying to get you caught up on what happened. This also means that a lot of significant events, such as important character deaths or climactic battles, happen off-screen.

The human side of the story is also a complete waste of time. There was no real reason for this story to take place on Earth, other than for the story to take place mainly in Korea.... more>> None of the human characters ever amount to anything, either; they mainly just exist to provide a contrast with the strength of the demons.

Probably the most annoying thing is that the story juggles too many plot threads and ends up dropping a few of them.
Spoiler

The Altars, which are introduced as a way to both sabotage Dungeons from the inside as well as acquire incredibly powerful monsters, are ignored after the first 6 out of 72. The World Tree Tea that provides a massive boost to his Intelligence stat is sort of forgotten after a couple of months.

This story kept me entertained, but It wasn't ever a really good story. It was just okay at most.

The ending felt a little rushed and I think that was my biggest problem with it. Ending was also still decent though.

It's hard to find something I can read all the way through without getting bored with it so I'm giving this four stars, but otherwise it's a 3 star story.

Got to say that the premise was quite general korean novel about dungeon and system.I expected that the overall story progress might be a bit similiar to the Everyone Else Is A Returnee, and did similiar.

But, I gotta admit that it have a nice touch for the MC, although the side character was rather bland and somehow don't have lot of impact.

The pacing of the novel was decent at the early, then good at the middle, and just plain rushed in the end, heck the mid bosses and end boss... more>> end with a little bit of fighting.

Overall a good reading experience. <<less

At first I was trying really hard to read and finish this. I am a person if I started it I need to finish it so then moving on with my comment. It was good novel overall the writing is good the story flow smoothly but theres a bit gap in the story and holes but its minor and we can leave it to the reader on how will they imagined on what that is the ending is a bit rush but the author explained on why he did that... more>> but again its still a good novel. Thank you <<less

Devils creates a game where he puts the top or high ranking demons of demon world to compete. MC is a Earl raked demon which is the lowest rank demon in the summoned rank in it.

MC travels back in time after dying where he was just beginning the game. It starts with MC know what he should have done in his last past and his mistakes in his past life.

I really wanted some time to drop this novel as it was too self centred with only MC believing his power... more>> and seeing other as weak due to him after travelling from time. It later changed as MC see light and his mistakes in both past and present.

The reason for the bad reputation of this novel is due to MC skipping many plot and twist which he should have kept but he just skipped it. The character in the Novel strength is not shown properly. Other than that it is not a bad novel. I would recommend you people at least try it. <<less

Not a great story but its something worth reading if you just want to kill sometime.

Plot holes get a bit annoying and there are unexplained jumps here and there.

MC is OP from the beginning which is a bit understandable but very annoying when it's not because of his experience but rather plot holes

Quite good to kill some time, I don't think it has any flow except that I feel that the End was quite rushed and that the author did not take any risk while writing this (nothing unexpected happen)

It is a short and good read. MC basically goes OP all the time, instead of common MC that randomly gets setbacks and tribulations on their path. MC has somewhat a human emotion, yet still keeping his demon nature on top. Story changes a lot from his previous lifetime which he decides was caused by his own change, thus making the changed timeline story (events occuring earlier than previously) sort of acceptable to him.

Sadly the author rushed the story to its end instead of choosing to delay or take a... more>> break when he was admitted to the hospital. The story progression goes slow > fast > fast > slow > end. Rather, the end part is the rushed section of the whole story. It might have ended differently had it not been for the rush, but still a good read for anyone thinking of picking this up. <<less

To those who first read unsavory comments (like me) : the story's beginning is chaotic and it takes time for the plot and intentions to be unraveled. Slowly. Very slowly. But once it does, it gets so much better and fast. I ground my teeth and preserved till 50-something chapter, it was tough but worth it. There's one more minus is the somewhat rushed ending, but I took it well (surprisingly), because the closer we were getting to the end, the more similar fights (or status windows etc) were getting.

Unlike... more>> in other Web novels I found here (to my another surprise) MC personality development (wow), not so much as we are used to in sense of enlightenment needed for power, but enlightenment to be a person.

So if got patience to bear with the beginning, you have a good chance to enjoy it (despite MC op cliches). <<less

Spoiler

There was a strong start, a strong middle, and a pathetically weak end.

The story goes along great until the last 5 or so chapters. He fights 3 "boss" type characters. The first two fights ended in a single sentence. The last boss fight lasts one chapter, and the MC says "You shall die" at the end. The next chapter is the epilogue. Basically, the author skipped over the actual defeat of the last boss.

The ending is extremely rushed and comes off very unsatisfying. Overall, I liked how it progressed, which is why I gave it a 3/5. If not for that, the ending alone deserves a 1/5.

It was one hell of a ride... yes..

Have you ever felt that you're missing something but you are sure that you're not missing anything?

Well, I have been waiting for some chapters for this one, almost everyday. It's like breathing, but it just cut off like that because its finally finished. (Fast-paced ending tho) Well, everything has an end. (Except for my love for the lolis)

... more>> (No, please. Don't call the police!!)

One of the best dungeon based story I ever read, I don't want it to end but it has to and I was satisfied.

Totally recommended to read this!! (Well, there goes my first review.) <<less

This story is great. This is one of my favorite novels in NU. The MC is consistent to his goal until the end and the other character have different personalities (especially: Yihi). Although the story can be better, but I'm already satisfied. Summary: This novel is awesome & very enjoyable for me. Thanks for Turtle-sama who translated this novel for us.

When I was choosing a new novel from my list of novels to read I found the name of this novel and I remembered that I had already read it... But the story was so bored and flat that I completely forgot to rate it, heck I don't even remember the MC's full name (according to the information in the epub I finished reading it only 1 month ago which indicates how irrelevant it was to me lmao).

It was entertaining but there is zero character development, several secondaries had the... more>> potential to be very good characters, but the author completely forgot about them and it was not the only thing that was forgotten/ignored like a lot of previously-established things for plot convenience...

It seemed like it was building up to something that would be fairly interesting, however that expectation was not met whatsoever. The ending was horrible (according to the author's note, he had to finish quickly due to the stress that writing the novel gave him) <<less

tr*sh novel with enormous plot holes, subpart fight scenes and not a ounce of character development.

MC is supposed to be a lone f*cker without faction and information, looking down on the four factions and being that guy, he lost his dungeon in the beginning and never really had interest in it, but when he resets he knows everything, gets every power and, of course, gets to be racist despite being a demon from another world.

the author tries way too hard to paint the MC as this villainous character that most of the time just feels forceful. He also tries to justify the villainous behavior of the MC with the same excuse every time that after the first few times you are starting to get irritated with it. I mean like we get that he has returned to the past you don't have to remind us every few paragraphs. Overall the entire story feels 'forced'. If you liked the author's other works you may like... more>> this one but for me, this is only good if there is nothing else to read. <<less
