It's kind of early to rate but let's try to point out the reasons why I'm giving this 3 stars.
The story in itself is intriguing and well written. But it also has huge flaws. I feel like the story is too linear, the characters do not think deep enough about their situation. For example, She taught "him" Japanese which is totally comprehensible. But why the hell would she learn "his" language considering she probably won't have any use of it in her entire lifetime. She eventually needs it due... more>> to foreshadowing because she ends up transported in his world but isn't this too "set up ?" Could she have predicted it ? Kinda weird right ? And also, remembering a language you've not used for 3 years and picking up the meaning of a conversation spoken by native people ? Mmh not really realistic <<less

The story was enjoyable but I probably won't re-read it since I personally feel like the author was really dragging out the main characters' reunion. As a result, I didn't get enough exposure towards the male lead, making him kind of a flat character.

I wish the author had included more on their past when the male lead was living in her world (since we need more novels where people are transported to the modern world!). Nevertheless, it's an interesting novel in that the female lead tries to adapt to a... more>> new world without the help of the male lead. <<less

The story is short with only 36 chapters, but it is sweet too. You can truly see how much they care about each other, though I was a little irritated with how weak willed the FL was, I kind of liked that side of her too.

Just so you know it does take awhile for them to meet.

Spoiler

the reunion doesn't happen till chapter 30. Let that sink in. There is only 36 chapters. Let that also sink in.

[collapse]

When they do meet it is very heartwarming.

Cute and simple story.

Frustrating read. Author uses needless delay tactics. Where is the romance?!

Interesting premise, poor execution.

I think the plot is enteresting but the story is sooooo, sooooo slow.
Spoiler

for example, now I'm at 14 chapters and the main leads don't even met each other yet!

[collapse]

So if you like the 'transport to other world' novel and you're okay with short chapters and slowly developed plot, you should be able to enjoy this.

Shiori and her man are in love and pining for each other, but their paths never meet. 19 chapters in and they still haven't seen each other! ? It's frustratingly slow.

Female protag seems a bit meek? -- Too soft to go against her c*ckblocking boss. He tells her "no, your hubby doesn't love you. He's engaged (but he really isn't) " and she just gives up.

i love this novel and I really want to read more I hope it updates again though the beginning is kinda confusing if you give it some time you'll understand the blot im really interested to see what happens next specially how will she reunite with the knight again? What I like about this novel is that the ML & FL aren't by each other side from the beginning but you can really feel how much they care about each other so even though I said I like this about... more>> it sometimes it really frustrates me as well that's just how great this novel is I really love it (^^) / <<less

MC is... terribly naïve. Like a kid could be smarter than her by a short margin in a parallel world.

Spoiler

Basically, she believes that anyone who gives her food is a good guy. Great going. You could definitely survive that way. Clap clap clap. You are definitely not being sold into prostitution. And yes, you can definitely find a proper job by just asking around high-end places with the minimum verbal skills requires there.

[collapse]

Basically, MC lacks common sense of the adult variety, and is basically a damsel in distress. So if that's your cup of tea, then go ahead. Translation wise, the TL quality is good: no bumps, and no A/Ns in the story. Solid 3 for great TL and concept, but poor execution of said concept and personal dislike of an excessively naïve MC. <<less

Warning! Don't dive too deep in the reviews, there are some spoilers not tagged as spoilers.

It was short, but it was enough for me. Some may say the that MC is not assertive enough, but I think she was quite realistic. And she actually is assertive, in some parts.

Spoiler

Imagine you get told that your crush (not yet lover) whom you havent met for 3 years was an engaged celebrity. With no way to communicate through something like phones, how can you not be dishearted? I would doubt myself too. Still, she does try! And when they do reunite, they cleared it all up in one day!

[collapse]

The romance in this novel was mostly longing and nostalgic memories, I guess. Real romantic interactions start late.

Spoiler

They finally meet at chapter 30. There have been hints that their feelings are mutual from early on though.

Although,

Spoiler

I feel bad for all the men that had one sided crushes on shiori. But it's not that deep and their feelings are simply crushes anyway.

[collapse]

Also! This is the same author as 'At The Northern Fort'. Suuuuuper cute, 10/10 <<less
