Can't really recommend this. The "system" of the world is so bad it rapidly ceases to make sense.

Briefly, in this world, you get exponential experience for killing more than one creature at a time. By chapter 6 or so he's killing thousands of creatures, and there's no way to make this non-ludicrous. The ramifications are absurd - killing 20 people at the same time would be equivalaent to killling a million people one at a time.

There is no way to make this system work, at all, and it's only one... more>> part of the sloppy worldbuilding that's running rampant in this story.

Example: he class changes into an enchanter... spends some absolutely insignificant amount of time enchanting some tr*sh he finds, then a chapter later he class changes into a lich, and him being an enchanter becomes completely irrelevant.

The writing is poor, the large cast of characters are utterly unmemorable, and we're subjected to humor like this:

"‘Legol, Arin, Hattan, you guys get minus two points. Mir, Tagan, Jenna, just the minus one. You three spiders hesitated too long so that was minus one point, also none of you cooperated as a team so minus one point for everyone.’

‘... ’

It was silent as none dared to talk back.

‘Hm, actually Arin performed quite well so you’ll be spared the penalty this time.’

‘Huh why? If it wasn’t for that spider girl, things wouldn’t have been so difficult!’

Jenna’s telepathic message was burning with hostility.

Jenna, minus one point for promoting internal discord, anything else to add?’"

Or maybe it's character development, I'm not even sure. Whatever it is, it's impossible to care about what is happening to these characters. <<less

Okay so long story short this novel can be put into 3 major arcs up to the Status chapter. For those looking for a quick review the first part is starts out as a 3 or even a borderline 4. It's somewhat your typical reincarnation story but the MC starts out smart and charming enough and the cast starts out good enough. Notice how I said starts off? More on that later. The second part is a 2 or even a 1. It's awful and I mean terrible. It's shifts... more>> the entire story from fantasy to sci fi so fast that slamming into a brick wall would be more subtle. The way it distracts from what was the main story is also annoying and nothing in this part is especially interesting or enjoyable. The third part goes back to the fantasy story while retaining some of the Sci fi elements and it sort of works. The sci fi elements honestly feel out of place and never feel like they really belong but they are also not too distracting. The cast also has a massive improvement. Over all I'd give the third part by itself a solid 3 but the story as a whole a definite 2 as the third part just doesn't make up for what you have to go through to get to it.

For those wanting more details here are some indepth reviews for each part.

First part

Spoiler

So like I said the story starts out a 3 or even 4 but by the end degrades to a 2 star at best. The reason being the story started out very interesting and entertaining until the author started to run the story into the ground which reaches it's peak in around chapter 60 when the MC time jumps to a post apocalyptic earth.... more on that later. When it starts the story was very entertaining if you were a major fan of "Reincarnating as a monster in a world with a level up and evolution system". The MC is pretty basic but is good enough to carry the story and unlike some that try and fail to make the MC a pitiful loner forever he manages to get allies and friends soon enough. There are, however, some major flaws that need to be mentioned. I'll try to convey the basic issues spoiler free but for those curious I'll elaborate in the spoilers

1. Evolution branches- The author barely even pretends that this is a branched system.

Spoiler

From the very start it's just "Become a shitty skeleton knight, become a shitty skeleton assasion, or become a skeleton mage" which is obvious since skeleton monsters are almost never good warriors. Then later on the other branches are equally worthless until the MC reaches lich and of the three he could become after that one was a vague entry and the other is ignored without a second thought. Normally novels like this at least try to craft a branching evolution system with the MC going down a specific path but here every other path besides the one the MC picks is clearly filler. The other monsters are even worse as when they evolution is addressed they just immediately jump to "Demihuman" status without even an attempt to talk about other options.

around chapter 50 it gets even worse as the MC is presented with three options Demi-lich, golden dragon, or golden slime. He chooses the lich evolution even though he's told it's pure evil by nature. He's given the power to resist that evil influence but only just barely and it still results in him losing most of his emotions that he only got back a single evolution ago! While it's obvious the MC would choose lich in the end as the novel is about an undead MC it shouldn't make it so obvious that the MC is choosing this path for the storie's sake rather than it being the best idea.

[collapse]

2. pacing- The pacing for this story is fast and not in a good way. I don't mean that it's skipping the grinding and wordy chapters. No it's just skimming over details and making things happen out of pure convenience to avoid having to take time to set up or explain anything. Later on there are even a few chapters that could have been their own volumes with how much apparently happened yet only some of it is even vagely described to us while the rest is simply implied. I understand if the author doesn't want to make a whole novel on certain things but sometimes a bit of world building and such and nessecary and they can't be just skimmed over like they don't really matter. Even if enough detail is given so that the story can be followed it still leaves the story feeling lacking.

Spoiler

The one time I don't mind the author's skimming habit is when the novel speeds through the early stages and jumps to lich. After all if the meat of the story is meant to be after that then it's fine. Novels like this tend to be slow around the early portion anyway so not much is lost. But even besides that too much is just being rushed though. Take for example the world roots. He apparently clears up all the pests but there is no details even on what this accomplishes besides a s*upidly fast level up. Or like when he has the monsters evolve it's just "Surprise they are all humanoids now"... seriously? Isn't that a bit fast? Shouldn't they go through at least another stage or two? And of course there is the mess with the reincarnators. I mean they sacrificed one of their FIVE FREAKING MEMBERS just to SEAL a lich without even knowing what he did. I mean seriously? He even returned your vampire loli unharmed!!! Also why did the girl not say anything? Only the golem tried to speak reason and was flat out ignored.

Then to make things even worse later on the leader of their group manages to arrange an ELDER DRAGON and her 4 children to attack him. BTW this elder dragon is blessed by Gaia and it the gaurdian of life and thus not only is biased again the MC but has the idea skill set to beat him... conveniently.

[collapse]

3. Skills- I just find the MC's skill composition dull.

Spoiler

I mean he's a damn skeleton with necromancy. He should try using it more. But he hasn't touched necromancy since the first time he used it. Instead he just relies on fire magic of all things (Shouldn't fire be a lych's greatest weakness?) with a little bit of lightning and gravity to stun and slow people down. Speaking of slow he got that ONE debuff spell "Slow" and never even tried to upgrade it or get another like it. Gravity magic itself isn't a debuff.

Then to make things worse he forgets ALL of this later on. After he gets the seal removed he hasn't used slow, gravity, or lightning even once and instead just uses fire for attack or uses the "creation" skill he got to just make skills. But since he can only own three created skills at a time this limits him in a lot of ways.

[collapse]

4. Antagonists- The antagonists in this series get progressively worse as the series progresses and it feels like the reason is the author ran out of ideas for them early on

Spoiler

At first since the story is with the MC being weak the "enemies" are must monsters, normal humans, ect that try to kill him because it's natural. This is when the series is at it's strongest because there was no need to give them any real motivation. Later after the MC becomes a lich is when it goes down hill. Even if the MC does everything in his power to appear friendly and cooperative everyone and I mean EVERYONE tries to screw him over simply because he is undead. Starting with the reincarnators who want to kill him simply because he is a lynch they don't give up even when the skill that "kills evil" fails because he in fact isn't evil. Then we get elves who try to attack him with a s*upidly large army even when he was fully willing to help them. and THEN we get a greedy king who wants to mess with him for selfish reasons. Oh and this king is s*upid but CONVENIENTLY has a sacred artifact that lets him summon an army of angels that are the MC's natural enemies. Oh and OF COURSE said angels are corrupt a**holes determined to make hypocritical speeches about how the MC is a monster for killing an invading army but them proceed to mu*der his friends and family (don't worry this gets reversed by a time reset by an unknown god so it's just meaningless shock value).

[collapse]

Up until about chapter 50 I would still have given this series a pass as a flawed but good enough reincarnation story. But as the author heads toward the genera leap into sci fi the story degrades heavily.

[collapse]

Second part

Spoiler

Okay so after the MC "dies" in the first part he ends up on a Spacve Station on the Earth in the future after it's been destroyed by a meteor storm... Additionally the Dragon of Life who died helping him gets reborn as an egg.... and that's it. That doesn't really end up tying into anything and you can just forget I even said that. The rest of the arc is pretty meaningless. The MC is back to being a skeleton and has his game like powers. He also decides to grind creation for possibly years (it's merely stated to be a long time) to make it out and then spam creates undead to grind levels up to max. But once again he chooses demi lich for some reason. In any case the rest is about him befriending the AI in control of the station, terraforming the earth by making anti matter to power the station to do so only for it to get destroyed. He then finds out aliens were launching the meteors all along and goes to pick a fight with them. The story then takes a painful amount of time with backstories that lead no where and explaining how they combine the MC's magic with Sci fi tech to make teleporting anti matter bombs and guns that destroy planets.... again this is still the same story about a skeleton in a world of swords and magic.

At the end he's about the wipe out the alien race completely before a god named Metatron appears, reveals himself to be the mastermind, and sends the MC back to the other world with ANOTHER level reset... like he MC's level hasn't been reset enough already.

[collapse]

Third part

Spoiler

At this point something strange happens with the story. The author's pacing issues are still there but the story starts to take a strange direction that is neither good nor bad but is.... unique. To start things off the MC is a level 1 skeleton again but apparently his special evolved creation magic didn't get reset and he uses it to create a skill that converts his species to human, gives himself matter creation again, and a status disguising skill. So now the MC is human and quickly learns that he's several decades before he ever arrived in this world as a skeleton.

At this point the evolution system finally comes back into play but now more than ever the author seems to do whatever the hell he wants with it. For example the MC's first evolution choice is Hi human, Meta human, or angel. The MC chooses meta human and becomes Spiderman. I'm not making a joke that is what happens. He gets web making powers, spider sense powers, and litterally mentions spiderman. It's so cringy I had to just leave and comes back later. But if you can put that aside the story has ups and downs like a roller coaster. Like at one point the MC is doing a good job building up levels and even helping people out and making connections. But then the next he's doing gring worthy things like making bets with people to grant his wish if he wins and his only wish is for them to be his friend... he does this with both a dragon and a princess. It feels so painfully out of character that it's litterally a different person. That's not saying he's grown as a character. As that would require an evolution of his character over time. Nah this change just happens out of nowhere and now the MC is like a generic Japanese harem MC. He even starts to build a harem incluind a dark elf, a high elf, a human girl, the princess from earlier who is now a vampire, and some other characters not really worth mentioning. Oh he also hasn't given up on re connection with Valenor once the time line catches up.

[collapse]

Overall it really feels like the author is making up this story as they go along. First it's a typical reincarnated into a monster story, then it's a scifi space battle story with a post apcalyptic setting, then it's a human reincarnation story with a harem attached. You would almost expect the story to be really interesting with such a diverse mix of genera. But the mix isn't smooth at all and instead feels more like the author just got bored and starting throwing in new genera and plot elements to see what might stick

I honestly can't recommend this to anyone as it's just not worth suffering through in order to get to what little is worth reading. At this point I'm only still reading it because I might as well. But for anyone thinking of starting I'd suggest just looking at other stories. This writer REALLY needs to find another career. <<less

So typically bad, that it hurts. Truly, this novel is copy, and paste of all the monster reincarnation stories. There's a pixie, which is Just a variant of the usual fairy. There's a human companion, whom Just so happens to act as the conscience. And, oh my, there's now an Elf as well.

The protagonist himself has absolutely no thought for himself at all. He moves according to the whims of those around him. Reacts to stimulus, rather than taking the initiative. Save the humans the pixie cried, so he does.... more>> Make the monster species your allies, the human companion says, and so he does.

It's Just so very typical Korean. Formulaic rise with bland protagonist whom never matures in anyway at all. He does however make sure to sprout some moral rubbish once in a while. Great.

I would not be deceived by the Hardship the protagonist experiences at first. For that is temporary. When a fairy is introduced as a companion, with typical happy characteristics, it's a trigger warning. TO AVOID. <<less

This is a well balanced story, despite the minor flaw here and there.

One of the biggest 'problems' with the story is that the system that runs it is too... game-like. Experience can be gained in great amounts by killing thousands of smaller creatures. As a result, killing a high level being is not as beneficial as farming lower level enemies, which is kind of silly by most game world standards. Additionally, some of the magic he gets has no relation whatsoever to what he is doing at the moment, and... more>> has a very 'game like' inflexibility (ex. getting enchanting skills when he doesn't have any weapons). So far, these flaws are balanced out by the fact that the MC has a LONG way to go. The rankings start at H and go all the way to (presumably) A rank, and maybe even S rank, with the added bonus of each rank having + and - (ex. H+ is stronger than H-). This ranking system has INCREDIBLE range, a dragon being only about D, and a world crushing level 665 Arch lich is only C+.

And recently, the Author managed to fill up a plot hole that has been bugging me for a while. I initially took it as poor writing, but there was actually foreshadowing to this.

Spoiler

The MC, at the start, had very minimal emotional reactions despite waking up as a freaking skeleton in another freaking world. He's like, 'oh, we're doing this now?' and that's pretty much it. This is one of the biggest problems with 'another world' based stories: the MCs just adapt way too quickly. He even says things along the line of, 'I am glad this doesn't freak me out'.

In the latest chapter (22), the MC becomes a higher level version of his race. It is hinted that, as skeletons are lower ranking existences, their intelligence and comprehension are generally limited to following orders and acting on instinct like animals. That being said, sometimes one might receive consciousness by chance, becoming a unique undead (there is a precedent for this as well). In this chapter, he becomes high ranked enough for his current race to no longer be considered 'small fry' and thus is now able to receive an ego/emotions.

And boy is his reaction good. 'Holy flip dicking shit, im a skeleton and all my friends are monsters'. He is sent into turmoil that he would have normally spent days being traumatized about when he first awoke. It's even worse, because ALL of the experiences he has gone through so far under a 'guiltless' mindset are now crashing down on him. I wonder how the author will resolve this. I hope he doesn't cop out by saying 'and he gets over it'. Instead, please, give him a conscience!! I was originally disappointed by his willingness to kill those who could not benefit him/attacked him (a shallow and flimsy character trait), and was considering dropping this novel. It seems like a trend that every person has to become an unfeeling douche to become stronger, which is something that is arguably necessary, but looks really messed up when put into action.

Anyway, I hope the author carries this one out well. They have already proven to be good at setting things up, foreshadowing wise.

[collapse]

The Author's way of handling things in an interesting manner has ultimately kept my attention. I will continue to read this one for now, despite some minor flaws. They aren't so bad, and are easy to just ignore and accept. And hey, maybe another plot twist is in order!

Edit chapter 27

Its getting worse. -1 star for ending this chapter with MC hearing a girls cries of 'help!' in the distance.

OK, so the problem now is that no, he DIDN'T get any significant effect from his 'return of emotions'. It says it happened... but there is nearly no effect. Heck...

Spoiler

He is 100% fine with walking around buck naked in front of his subordinates. There is no explanation for this at all, other than 'he is a pe*vert'.

[collapse]

There is a SEVERE lack of world building. There are no explanations. I have so many questions!!!
Spoiler

Why makes the highest form of currency 'purple gold'? Like, is it purple? What does it look like!!You put two colors together and I don't know what to think!

[collapse]

On top of everything
Spoiler

He is human now. And it looks like he is going to be human for a WHILE.

[collapse]

The author is being clumsy to say the least. So, 4 to 3 stars for now.

Edit Chapter 40

Apparently this story is destined to run headfirst into every cliche in existence. The handling/detailing has gotten worse. Like, 'cliche' encounters can be great if they have good wind up and resolution to them, and it ISN'T that the author can't do it. No, instead the author is putting details into the WRONG places.

Spoiler

The recent misadventure with an elder dragon had SO much potential. I'm not kidding when I say that the author done goofed. One minute he is in huge trouble, the next he finds an exploit and wins the fight. That's fine. However, the moment he spares the dragon... jeez, this makes me want to puke:

-She suddenly becomes super loyal (like, super unnecessary details here. It's so poorly written you will have to read the latter half of chapter 40 to understand my pain).
-Oh boy, you were a GIRL dragon? THAT sure wasn't specified before (it was). Time to draw a HUGE amount of unnecessary detail to that!

-MC gets Another territory, and essentially accomplishes all of his goals. Now all that is left is to crush the invaders, which should be easy now that he has a rank +B dragon on his side. Also, said dragon that had been tormenting an entire nation for 100 years has been waiting for a rival all this time, which SHOULD MEAN that there are NO people left to challenge said dragon.

If there are ANY people that challenge them now that are either shocked about the dragon's existence, or stronger than said dragon by a huge margin, then forget taking off a star, I'm 1 staring this thing and dropping it immediately.

[collapse]

Edit chapter 50

I regret thinking this author was clever. In truth, he is clumsy and an amateur. He can sure write a good plot, but his execution is just garbage level. Very little character development, and none of it is for the MC. A synopsis of all the events that the MC goes through would be more interesting than this story itself. The buildup to events that ought to be super important for the story is shortlived and shallow, leaving the events that should have had bigger impact with a feeling of wasted potential. It's like the author is writing as he goes, reading off of a list of events that he made.

In short, this story has no soul. You can have a plethora of events to use as material, but it all goes to waste when the plot consists of 'he survives challenges'. <<less

This story started out quite nicely with our MC getting reincarnated into a skeleton, but then the story just kept going down hill. Author just started adding everything you see in a dungeon story and accelerated it by 1000%. If the author actually took his time to build his characters and setting, this novel would have actually been an amazing read. At the end of the day all this novel has is "bones" no pun intended, there is no "meat" in it at all.

I recommend this novel for people who... more>> actually like reading a novel that has no real story, is extremely fast paced and has side character that agrees to everything MC says.

My final score for this novel:

I don't often give scores this bad. If I find a series that is bad I normally just drop it rather than writing a review, but this one truly needs to be stated.

The story starts out mediocre at best, warranting a 3-4, but the MC gets strong quickly, gathering forces quickly, and goes through plots/arcs quickly. The problem is, the story is repetitive with the same "twists" over and over again, and the MC never learns from it. To make matters worse, he always makes the same mistakes over and... more>> over again, failing over and over again. Honestly, if I wanted to read a story about people making mistakes and failing consistently, I'd watch youtube fail-videos. I wanted an epic with good action, great battles, and powerful characters, but received the most pathetic characters, the flimsiest plot "twists", and the most idiotic and pathetic MC ever. As a tyrant he was pathetic, as a savior he was hypocritical, and as an MC he was a failure.

I would give this series a 1, but for me a 1 score needs to be the absolute worst. While this series is simply awful, it was at least entertaining for a few dozen chapters before the author went full-fail. <<less

The best way to describe this story is mediocre. It isn't bad, but there's nothing really special about it either. Most chapters have some time skip where the MC grinds a newly acquired skill to maximum immediately in the middle of a chapter, and adding in the actual time skips, it feels like the author is trying to rush through his own story.

I feel LV1 Skeleton author had a lot they wanted to tell but fell short in execution.

they introduced characters early on and many of them don't get any development. Many of them that you think will be important is pushed to the side.

Also, a big issue is the inconsistency within the story. For example, the MC personality its hard to understand what is the true character of the MC. at times he's kind then he's ruthless. there are times he's naive but then he's sagacious.

the biggest issue is around the... more>> halfway point they introduce a new genre to the series and its boring... no really boring. Whenever they introduce a new weapon they explain how it works and the mechanics of it making it tell oh this character is smart... I'll give you an example what if someone explains all the process of making paper and why it functions the way it does and the impact paper has and so on... That how it went.

I know I'm saying negative but it's not all bad it just the middle was almost a waste it wasn't entirely but you could sim read them and understand most of what went on. Up to where we are characters are getting proper development, the plot is going somewhere and it doesn't feel like the author is making up as he goes. and the final thing is the MC is likable.

So finally is the story of LV1 Skeleton a 1 star no is it a 5-star hell no. people who gave it 1 star obviously didn't like the direction it went through and that's understandable but I feel its not justifiable to give it a 1. its not bad or great but I feel that the current direction (up to 114) is going in a positive direction so if you want to read it know this up to 60 it good, then the midway point its boring and frustrating and then late 70s+ its good again <<less

Starts off with an interesting premise, but drops off very quickly.

Characters don't feel real, and act seemingly at random.

Power balance is inconsistent and also very messy.

Pacing is non-existent. Stuff happens without build-up, and jumps all over the place.

5 chapters in and I'm already really enjoying this one. Despite the MC not being able to speak his personality is well reflected in his silent outbursts, and this even adds an extra bit of charm to story so far. The fact that the MC is a skeleton heavily influences the way he behaves, and the writing is done well enough that you can clearly tell that the author has put thought into it. The translation quality is good as well.

If you're a fan of stat sheets and game-like elements... more>> then I reckon you'll enjoy this one. So far it hasn't fallen into the typical Isekai traps and instead gives off small vibes of a more light-hearted version of the early Arifureta chapters (without all the angst and revenge plot). <<less

I would've probably given this story a 3 or 4 stars for earlier chapters but it just took a major nose dive in the later chapters. The biggest "plot twist" added in chapter around chapter 63 is one of my most hated plot devises.

Spoiler

It's one of those where the author doesn't know how to continue the story so he just destroys everything and starts over. It would have been a better story if he just created a new story altogether. Everything that was given to him in previous chapters is completely wiped clean as if none of it happened. The only thing he has left to him is his desire for revenge or what not.

Coulda been better. The story starts with the MC dying (amazing, right?), he then comes back as a level 1 skeleton using brain over brawn to level up and enjoy the perks of being an emotionally dead creature that doesnt get bored of repeating the same task over and over and over again.

Then the author f*cks that up and the story starts turning into A-typical harem story of climbing over adversity and stomping on evil..... The massive catch is... the largest Adversity is the Main Characters emotions and inability to... more>> learn from his own mistakes.... as much as the author screams he does learn, his learning from own mistakes is like an arsonist trying to not be an arsonist but thinking his mistake is in which flammable liquids hes using "If only I didnt use kerosene and instead used water, all these fires wouldnt start because obviously this blowtorch isnt causing the fires!". If this is learning from your mistakes, a butcher is an A-grade plastic surgeon.

The MC has one problem that trumps all problems. The author. The person that is supposed to love him, protect him and give him limitless plot armour instead gives him the inability to learn from his mistakes when his emotions are involved... which is all the time. <<less

The title doesn't really fit the story at all. Level 1 my ass.

The story actually starts really well with an interesting situation and atmospheric setting. It really feels like it would be a solid take of the reincarnation story... then the story deteriorates into random and often nonsensical plot-lines. Numerous incoherent developments happen with very little logic and sense behind them. It feels like the author is just writing whatever comes to mind. Sure, there are lots of things happening all the time, but it doesn't feel like there is... more>> any actual "story."

The characters are forgettable. All of them sucks as a character. The main character has no personality and his motivation change every chapter. There is this pixie (?), I can't remember exactly what creature that was, but god she is annoying. The other character are either bland or pointless.

The game-like level up system is a mess. Come on! An exponential point system? The author is such an idiot.

******

This story is just really messed up. <<less

Quick review on the first 3 chapters and some possible insight for how it will hopefully continue.

As of right now it's ok. Obviously this is only 3 chapters so getting a deep understanding is difficult but it does have positive which I hope continue to create something a little more unique than man turn to monster, blah, blah, blah.

First the MC can't talk and while I doubt it will continue forever (it would definitely be interesting if it did) I do hope it continues for awhile as you can... more>> get interesting interactions with silent protagonists.

The MC is also aware that he is a skeleton and is beginning to learn the benefits from it. I only hope that these aspects don't disappear due to something like overwelming power.

I would recommend a read and hope it doesn't slip up in the future. 3 chapters is hardly a accurate review but it is a good start to get an idea. <<less

At first I was like "cool a novel about a guy being reincarnated as a skeleton but then the author let the plot slip away until sh*t got out of control.

Spoiler

I have a high patience for some things but the longer the novel goes on the more and more it seems like sh*t is just happening because. It eventually goes from a fantasy world to Sci fi with robots, artificial intelligences, and spaceships. Then when it introduced time travel is the moment the novel truly lost any semblance of an actual plot. The MC just kinda gets jerked around through time and just rolls with it. Towards the end it's mentioned that him from the future did all the sh*t that led to where was now but surprise it turns out he is his future self. At the end I kind of just wondered "what was the actual point of anything that happened?"

In summary don't read this novel unless you want a headache and an existential crisis from wondering why the hell you read this. <<less

Its ok. The story is not unique, as its just a generic story about reincarnating as a monster with stat/skill p*rn. However even for the monster power fantasies on this website this novel manages to make the MC incredibly op fast. Its chapter 9 and we already have more skills than the MC will ever use. Usually the best parts of these novels is when the main character has to struggle to survive before the MC becomes so envitably op that the story becomes meaningless, but this novel just is... more>> passing that by. Another problem with this novel is that its incredibly bare bones, barely any detail to describe anything. All I see so far is a boring story with pointless status p*rn. A minor quibble is that the monster evolution path so far doesn't really make sense, how does a enchanter level into a lich?

The story is not good, just incredibly bland and generic at best. <<less

Are you bored of mc's reborn in another world with op cheat skills? Are you interested in reading something ligh yet with some action in it? Are you searching for exploits and shameless tactics?

If you are this novel is for you!

Our ptotagonist is a Lv1 Skeleton, a rock bottom of rock bottoms among monsters. His rank is H- for crying out loud! He has no cheats at rebirth, only night-vision and ressurect lv1. Mind you that ressurect does not work as you would think and our MC survives his first... more>> day by sheer luck.

All he has is his natural perk of an undead creature - endless stamina.

And what do you do to survive in a dungeon as a tutorial cannon fodder? Answer: you grind and grind and grind and grind and grind your skills till they are at decant lvl, completly abusing your one and only perk.

And how do you deal with raid class monsters? Answer: you exploit and exploit and exploit and exploit the absolute crap out of their aggro and programming, doing endless cicrles for as long as it takes to down 'em, compleatly and utterly shamelessly claimng dat sweet sweet exp!

This story is simply fun to read and fufils my gamers heart - who doesn't love exploits?- <<less

It’s a very weird read. It starts off really good, there’s a fascination there as you explore the world with the protagonist and his attempts at survival while being at the lowest of the food chain. Up until roughly 20-25 chapters in, it starts to fall apart.

Starting with power level inconsistencies, it hardly makes any sense how he achieved some things that he did including beating a dragon that lived at least 3x his age. And the dragon is about 10x his stats. “Oh it’s a required plot line.” Then... more>> how about making it more believeable? It was essentially like dragon doesn’t want to move and died to a thousand cuts.

The relationships that the protagonists built early becomes irrelevant since they don’t even contribute to anything. And you don’t even hear from them much, if all at for some. Author put out some many seemingly specialized underlings but they are forgettable. In fact I don’t even remember any of their names.

The author made way for new plot development and just decided to not delve deep into them and just... let me put it in a way to not spoil anything: it’s like you decided to make food but gave up halfway and decided to order pizza and told the family you made this.

And this new story arc is definitely at the top levels of weirdness. Author also seems like he wants to end this series quickly as well... the time skips in this new arc is amazing. I find it hard to believe with all the YEARS that went by, the protagonist hasn’t done anything except sitting on his ass sucking his thumb in fetal position.

All in all not recommended but since I started it... might as well see where this goes. <<less

I can honestly say I never gave a story a rating below 3 unless they absolutely deserved it and I feel like the author screwed up majorly. As an WIP Author myself, I can't help but think that this author messed up majorly, especially the part when the MC became a human with the race conversion skill. The MC was quite familiar with the race, especially since his avatar was human.

The fact though that he forgot Double Slash, a skill he was familiar with using due to him relying on these skills as his avatar was a human in the past just mind blows me. Like literally, he had to think of how the skilled work when it was used against him? Are you joking?

I can only say the upside of this story was the beginning which was right up until Chapter 60. The progression of his relationship with Valenor was nice, the pacing was somewhat okay, and the story itself was quite interesting. Of course, until the author decided to randomly add f*cking sci-fi out of nowhere, add angels who I'm pretty sure we're all familiar with is the Christian Gods angels, f*cking Metatron who I think might actually be from transformers, time travel, parallel world travel, and all sorts of shit. Especially since the MC decided to stay with what he knows best during the sci-fi world. Like really?

Who in there f*cking right mind would decide "Oh yeah, I'm just going to keep the same class at the end. It's not like the class Demi-Lich is pure f*cking evil and could most likely destroy my emotions completely." Seriously, what in the actual f. There were two other options, Golden Dragon and Golden Slime. If the MC was as SMART as before, he would've definitely gone with Golden Dragon since it's somewhat similar to his wife Valenor who herself was a Dragon. Not to mention they are powerful beings as well and the evolution of a Dragon would be quite interesting itself. The reason why he chose Demi-Lich before was that he had no choice.

I hate it when a story with great potential just ends like that. Also, if anyone noticed, Creation Magic was f*cking limited. Sure, the imagination is important, but you should know the man himself came from the Modern World. While Teleport and Levitate are amazing skills, he could've made an even better skill to deal with angels. For example, Holy Immunity would've been freaking great in that one situation where he fought Michael and the other Angels. A skill that can destroy magic itself would've been great as well and even if that doesn't work out or it wasn't able to be created he could've just created a physical skill that wasn't reliant on magic. All in all, this story was great at the beginning but went completely downhill. I'll come back to read this when the chapters are finished translating to edit this either giving it a one star up or another star down.

I have no where most of these people actually called quits to this novel, but most of the reviews re kinda lying. Except that one that just seemed like advertis**ent... Anyways, the title is indeed about a person reincarnating as a lv 1 skeleton. But sorry to say to those who hate it, he becomes OP-ish after maybe 20 chapters? Regardless it was a decent read for what is available, and I would recommend it to others. The characters are alright in the personality department (especially a dragon far later... more>> in the novel). The plot seems decent since for a large part of the available chapters he has to use his brain a bit to level up or solve issues. There is not a lot of character development, but in how the novel is written it didnt bother much. my only problem with the novel is there are a lot of characters he meets who are completely biased in a way that pisses me off, not listening to reason when it is in their face with actual proof. Great novel though. Try not to listen to such negative people in these reviews. If you just look at the actual ratings you will see those people are hating on a novel they probably skimmed through. 9/10 times you would rate this novel with 3-5 stars. <<less
