5 stars. I like how it different from other novel. In this novel, you will not see the typical 'you provoke me so I kill you'. People acknowledge their mistake and show respect to MC, even at first they look down on MC. And the MC is just op and a good teacher. The concept of 'I am a young master so I am better than you' dose not apply in this novel.

Overall, I enjoy this novel. I actually hate the unreasonable killing in other novel but this one is... more>> not like that at all. <<less

The storys progress is slow and the repetivness is huge, but god damn it, I love this crappy novel. There are very few novels were a actaully find myself chuckling to myself. I know what there is to expect, but somehow I never walk away from a reading session disapointed. I would advise you to just enjoy the ride for this novel, it is not a masterpiece, but it is still one of the best novels I have read

Hi all,

i will say "what the f*ck"

series started with student and teacher with comedy 1-200 chapter and competitions i.e. Balance was good

... more>> and the students don't have any further use just there name and cultivation realm i.e. Students are neglected after that

love intersect potentials are neglected and disappeared started with arrogant, high profile and talented female lead like shen bi ru, princess mo yu, princess fiewa, rouxi, princess fei li with same ending as none impressing MC.

MC can always breakthrough with no problem, can solve anything like doing painting without practice, no evil plot or villain except ding hu

i will say to the author a good novel does not only have good story but the side characters and villain also do have depth background. Please write in future with that, I am not saying that make it harem or anything but even with LOHP telling weakness of oppostion. Villians or opposition should also have some knowledge at least level of MC or below

As series is progressing quality is also fading totally becoming typical Chinese cultivation novel. <<less

Only one thing can I say, it is formulaic, one thing leads to another in a viscious cycle that it is not funny anymore, the face slapping is not even that surprising anymore

Good for passing time but not for entertainment or good interesting story line

It's a fun read worth the laughs but not something you should read in huge doses if your more "serious-minded" its light hearted comedy more like a comicstrip than an epic saga. It's quite enjoyable. Silly, Funny and entertaining and thats why I keep coming back for more

I like the story, the concept, and the direction it is heading... But I hate the Main Character too much to vote it higher. I know that the story is not just about the Main character, but the world they are in. However the Main Character's actions makes me unfortunately upset, such that I can't stand reading it normally. He is simply too dependent on his Unique Power that I simply can guess in the next arc, with or without any problem, he'll use his Unique power to bail him... more>> out no matter how small or big the problem is. Remove the Unique Power and obviously he would be dead, but he clearly doesn't understand that.

This doesn't mean that I would suggest others to not read this, but I would rather tell anyone who read this, to try their best to ignore the Main Character's moment where he needs to read a book to know what the subject is about.

In fact I encourage people to read this, but do not expect much from the Main Character himself. <<less

Starts off with substance and slightly funny, BUT becomes monotonous.

This is nothing but constant face slapping. It eventually gets old.
The author later narrates entire chapters of people being surprised from different perspectives. Gets annoying.

This is a great comedy cultivation novel. You won't get tired with the OPness of the MC since it is dealt with comedic ways. I would disagree with some of the comment that said no character development. Indeed there isn't much character development for the MC, but the character development is actually on the students. The plot is also quite good since at the current chapter, we can see some hint about underlying plot about the MC. It is kinda repetitive but which comedic show isn't a bit repetitive. A lot of face smacking, and I mean a ton of face slapping. The novel is nonstop face smacking from beginning to end with a MC that have a super cheat skill to learn all the skills in the story. I literally only read this to see how the MC stands at the top of the world with admirers bowing down to him from below. To summarize this novel, it is quite bullsh*t.

The MC has a very cheaty skill; we have overblown misunderstandings, exaggerated face slapping, etc. So if you are looking to find a novel that you want to take seriously, then this novel is not for you.
This novel is all about the humor. The misunderstandings are hilarious. The MC is shameless and he does ridiculous things, face slapping people left and right without even realizing it. The writing style really fits the story too, and the way narrative flows brings out the humor and silliness of the events happening.

I recommend this to those who can take a joke.

To everyone who said that the plot is repetitive and there is no proper character development; you don't read this for the amazing plot and emotional rollercoasters. This is a work done for the pure pleasure of watching the MC one up everyone. Sure he has a few bumps in the way, and the book does have some semblance of a plot, but to me that's just the side dish, I'm reading this for the sheer awesomnesss of the MC. I'd recommend not really taking this book seriously, it's more... more>> humor than anything else and a nice change of pace from all the other xianxia or whatever you would call it. <<less

My reason for this novel being 3 stars, is because the author hasn't written anything really new or interesting. The first hundred or so chapters are really good, because the writing and ideas of the novel are really well done. The problem stars after that. The author starts falling into the same formula for this novel. The formula is basically, a person thinks the main character isn't almighty and stuff. The main character then shocks and wows him and everyone around. The main character then leaves to another place to... more>> do the same thing. Honestly, I agree with the comments regarding the problems of this novel, but I still read it anyways just for the underestimated MC to show off and face slap everyone with amazing powers and knowledge. However, there is one major problem and that would be the cannon fodders EVERYWHERE. They're ret*rded to the point of having only one brain cell and extremely arrogant to the point you'll probably find me coughing up blood due to how so annoying they are that it makes me speechless. Are they even human anymore... more>> or are they just the incarnation of s*upidity..

I feel like during certain chapters (all of the 'glorious protagonist' events) 80% of it would be reasons why what the MC is doing is impossible whilst the 15% is the OP MC showing how impossible becomes possible (5% misc.). The rest of the characters are probably just there to contradict themselves to make MC look like a god.

Actually, he might as well be a god, a god of fortune because of how every single problem he faces will suddenly be fixed by some 'coincidence'. "Oh no, I need someone of higher standing in a particular field to show up and acknowledge me to get out of this predicament!" *suddenly someone of higher standing in a particular field shows up and acknowledged me which got me out of this predicament* Wow, that's obviously a coincidence and totally not because the author was too lazy to give a brain to problem solve instead of relying on stronger characters that will quickly become useless later, since my cheat is omnipotent! I really hate this novel, but can't seem to stop loving it too. 囧Rz

Its alright at best. It had a good formula of face slapping. That is all the novel is as the people around the MC, whether villain or friend, are all meant for the MC to somehow faceslap metaphorically. They will all do something/say something/ had done something which he will instantly prove wrong / 1 up / beat them at which will figuratively face slap them. That is what 280 chapters have been so far, very light hearted with just 1 repeated formula in every single f*cking chapter.

Basically don't binge... more>> this, you'll drop it if you have any good taste whatsoever. Read it in portions so the formula doesn't become too shitty for you. <<less

Fun.

That's the best way to describe this novel.

It's a very pleasant break from your typical xianxa/xuanhuan novel, this story isn't about the mc's road to immortality or about him constantly breaking his limits, this is a novel about a guy that is absurdly OP solving whatever problem he faces easily, you don't read this for great battle scenes or anything like that, you read that because it's simply fun.

if you are the type of guy that enjoys "reaction" chapters in novels then this entire novel is basically a reaction chapter,... more>> the MC doesn't suffer any setbacks at all so far just steamrolls through everything and shocks eveyrone around him.

That's honestly all you need to know, this is a novel about a broken op protagonist that faces no difficulties, steam rolls through every problem, and overall shocks every person he comes across.

it might sound s*upid, "why would I read a novel where the MC just easily does everything" well like I said it's a nice break from the usual xianxas/xuanhuan novels where the MCs constantly struggle to climb in power, hell this MC just randomly reads a few books and suddenly advances a few realms, you don't EVER feel like there is any threat to the MCs life or so, it's just a light hearted novel meant to be there as a fun break from all the other serious novels. <<less

I gotta say, the comedy of this series is top-notch. It was one of the reasons why I binge read Library of Heaven's Path.

However, like what the others have said, it's a bit repetitive, and the MC is just too OP for my tastes. He hardly exerts any effort regarding his cultivation because he has the library to assist him most of the time. Furthermore, his luck is just ridiculous. When he needs something, it just drops on his head. I much prefer MCs who really work hard, like Ai... more>> Hui from Avalon of the Five Elements, and not just solely rely on their luck and OP item.

But if you're into comedy and less into deep and intricate plots, LOHP is a great recommendation. I don't know how it will develop in the future as I've only read the currently translated chapters, but I'm still willing to read it. <<less

Library of Heavens is a pretty average, but fun read.

If you've read Emperor's Domination, it's basically that, but less fighting, and not as well written

You should read this if you're interested in seeing an overpowered MC going around, beating people who underestimate him, either by cheat skill, deus ex machina, or rarely, just by fighting. It's a light, mindless read, that is enjoyable as long as you don't nitpick or think too hard.

Definitely a master-piece. It will keep you engage. Not some visible plot in early chapters but things are turning interesting about the MC previous self. The MC is OP because of library but he is hardworking for his students. Not some high action, little bit of drag but I will ignore it because it makes plot interesting. I like the comeback situation MC creates and trample everyone who wants harm to him. Overall it is one top of my list to check it out for its update everyday.

One of my favorites. Very funny.

OP MC. Warning: OP MC. He hasn't gotten to the point of being able to raze the heavens, but his cheat allows his knowledge to be absolutely broken. His cultivation isn't crappy at all either. I'm impressed that the story's still this awesome even though the MC is clearly this OP. He hasn't really encountered a setback yet, but it's still interesting to see how he solves issues.

Not a lot of action done personally by the MC. Remember, this story is about the MC... more>> helping/teaching others. That's the whole point of the story. He's a teacher. A master teacher...

The story can get a little repetitive, but it's in a good way? I haven't stopped laughing whenever the MC slaps faces and "helps" people. I mean, the whole story's focus is him teaching...

Ah, there's the mystery of where this cheat came from, how the heck did the MC end up in this dude's body, and how did that dude actually die and why. I'm intrigued.

Romance hasn't been focused on. There's a tiny bit, but, in my opinion, it's not that important.

Basically, it's high-quality faceslapping mixed with comedy. <<less

Don't analyze too deeply into this novel. Just enjoy it for what it is - a light read, entertaining, and s*upidly hilarious. It mainly revolves around other people looking down on MC and gets instant face-slapped by the MC's ridiculously s*upid awesomeness.
