It was simple good story but the more it goes further the more it became a boring mess,

Spoiler

The author is persistent on making harem for the MC by the same way, help a damsel in distress, then fell in love with her afterword just to find a reason to separate without starting a relationship so that he can keep his harem collecting.

again the MC for some reason keep collecting an invisible harem of goddess that grant him blessing for no reason witch isn't funny for me at least.

loopholes the MC is supposedly the strongest, the fastest, the most dexterous, but an S class beat him so bad because of skills, I can't understand this. A villain lord was able to send him flying and kidnapped a woman he liked. He helped a princess while she has a butler that seems as powerful as him, this butler was pretending to be captured to spy and said that he heard what he came for, but didn't deliver any information in the end. Anyway the author is a lot loose with the plot.

there is a lot more problem with it, but it was a good read up until 60 though I dropped it at 72. <<less

This story makes me laugh. The MC is really dense and interesting, it is a super harem story full of misunderstandings, but the comedy the misunderstandings create are the best part. Only problem I have with it is MC falls in love way too easily, a girl just needs to look at him and he's in love, for someone who's supposed to have a trauma about love I think it's a little much. I keep reading because it's such a funny story.

Grammar: 1.5~2.3/5

Writing: 1.2~1.9/5

Story: 1~1.5/5

... more>> Honestly, I'm enjoying the story, just the horrible grammar, and lackluster writing brings it down by a bunch. The story isn't original by far, but it is enjoyably executed.

Grammar is pretty bad in the first 100 or so chapters, proofreading wasn't done very well, but at least it was understandable for the most part. Word flow is halting in almost every paragraph, dialogue and interactions are fun but feel a bit forced most of the time. The only real excitement you can feel is the MC's interaction with people he is avoiding, which is quite the conundrum since it doesn't happen often. The story is far from a master piece, but the slight suspense you feel from wondering what will happen when he faces Aria is enough to keep you reading. Still waiting to find out what will happen. Damn it.

Not a recommended read as far as I'm concerned, but enjoyable enough as filler while I'm waiting for something better to update.

Also, thank you TL group for translating this, I know how difficult it is to TL, and keep up the hard work Proofreaders, it's not to my liking, but your work is still admirable! <<less

This is a hard core Harem, but this is not a serous book. I laughed a lot at it. I was reading it on break and yelled out "Ow f*ck off" while laughing. Where most books I read are dark, and have a couple scenes that are light to ease peoples hearts this is almost the opposite. It is a very light hearted book that is just trying to be funny, but uses some semi serious parts in so you can cool down the laughs. When you read this there... more>> will be scenes between all the cities where bandits attack them and they are my favorite. If you like simple low brow funny skits they are not bad. Just do not read this book thinking you are after an action series. It is not read anything else. This is a comedy.

Pros: Funny

Cons: Translation quality is kind of low. <<less

The story is well written and the translations are done well, that's always a plus. The plot is very interesting and it does a great job on back stories and side stories. The MC has his self deprecating nature however its never overbearing, plus he makes witty comments that are quite funny.

The heroine's are strong and chase after the MC for their own reasons making amusing side stories.

Also the MC's status which shows on his guild card and how its displayed is far from ordinary, and not just in an... more>> OP kind of way. I have never laughed so hard reading the status of a character before.

By far one of my favorite light novels to recommend. <<less

Phew, many person giving 1 star because MC is coward. For me, it was the main charm of this series. True, the story quality is not that good and the plot can became absurd and repetitive (especially in later chapters). But mc's cowardice and misunderstanding about love is hilariously refreshing compared to mc's forced denseness from another series.

It's one of those novels where the writing, plotting, and depth are all below average (or is it the translation). Regardless of that, I find the piece somewhat entertaining but at the same time, it's not for everybody.

I dont know why theres so many of you rated this as 1 star, but I guess its because of preferences and the cliches, but in my opinion its really enjoyable if you dont mind the bit of wrong grammar and if you also dont mind the OPness cliche, the randomness is funny and the misunderstanding is a good laugh also harem wise I guess its good, its cute in its own perspective... if you want a good laugj and you dont mind the bit of NTR not that bad... more>> ntr it has a good o a bit of a background but also a bit vague on why she do that but just read this and its totally refreshing to see something new on this one. Alright the MC is quite dense and emotional, for a good reason mind you since none of us would ever feel good in an ntr situation.

But here's the thing, this entire novel is just comedy, not meant to be taken seriously, situations that are supposed to be tense aren't because that's the style of the story telling. There's no drama and it's a fun read even with the MC's flaws. Give this novel a try if you want, the MC checking his stats might become your favorite moment as well.

I think it's underrated.

The story is good and the comedy, romance is not bad.

If anyone say it's NTR, it's not. They are not dating or married. It's normal for one to fall in love with somebody if they spend a lot of time. And Aria's chaise is bad anyway as she falls for an arrogant brat (hero). So, she is bad choice for MC compared to other Girls. They are way better than Aria.

On top this it has in*est😏, comedy, harem, action. Anyway, it was an enjoying time for me.... more>> You can try it. It's really good. <<less

If you have time, or just finished manga recent chapters of this series, or want to be immersive in something, a linear story, you could finish this in one whole day. I think it has its good moments when reading. Plot wise, its okay. Not bad yet not the best either.

2 problems I encountered would be, the character depth and the inconsistencies.

When it comes to depth, I think author took easy way out to conclude. So much potential. What matters in an OP MC is the realisation there's flaws to... more>> be embraced, thoughts to be swallowed, action to be taken. And none of these occur near the end. All that searching for strength, one true self, and blatantly given a shallow resolution. Some of the harem bond is so weak, as if getting a steak marinated for 3 minutes top. MC literally ran crying, looking for something, an answer, a requiem, anything, something, to move on.

Using those shallow harem, how could you move on easily? All that travel, all that broken moments, easily cured by those shallow bonds. With no particular action resolving oneself near the end, it made my point even clearer. We don't want MC punching hero as a progression because we all know from the start MC is already OP. We want MC to be drowned with flaws, and find redemption. It suppose to be a little shounen despite already OP AF. Shallow, so shallow. What irks me is, there's much potential. Some of the harem female has good points, so at least wasn't that bad.

Inconsistencies also bugs me more than it suppose to. It's simply weird me out of how a NON-isekai MC able to give train of thoughts like an isekai MC? Usage words tsundere or the word drama when reminiscing events which shouldn't be in MC minds to begin with.

It's an okay read if you don't want to wait the manga. Or if you have some free time for some quick reading. I give points for its easy straight forward plot. Some don't make sense, but I guess its okay. <<less

I am forcing my self to finish this story. The only thing worth while the dragon child. The book starts out pathetic and just goes down hill from there. I my opinion the over all worst part of this book is the in*est there is absolutely no need for it at the time it shows up in the book the MC all ready has 5 woman in his harem. There is no justification for adding the in*est. Nothing in this story at this point could turn it around and make... more>> it a worth while read. Do yourself a favor and just don’t read it. i love this WN but i've got a enormous problem: this sh*t is not the WN it's the LN who is a bad adaption of the manga who is already a bad adaptation of the WN.
i tried to find during 4 hours the original, it's, I think almost impossible, I have found the original chapter 1, but the other chapter were again the bloody LN.

i miss that old version, it's was clumsy but fun and so much better than this one.
if you find it please tell me, the... more>> translation of 2016-2017 where all replaced/modified recently by the LN even in the website of the original translator. (The archive are not the old one, they already replaced it)

if you are wondering, it's the version where the hero (of the world, not the MC) don't kiss the girl in an alley (i find it sooo classy for a hero), but annonces his engagement with the MC's chilhood friend in front of a crowd (i find the drama better, we don't know if she want that or not). <<less

Some may hate this novel and some don't. Well I don't hate this novel but I don't like it either.

MC - he is ok enough I think. Based on many MC i've hated this MC in this novel just barely pass enough to not be hated thouroughly. Though he is a coward at confronting his emotions he can still be decisive at times. Well I only hate about him is losing his childhood friend but it can't be help cause he is still powerless at that time.

World - well you... more>> can think of it as only one continent. The center is the center mountain where all continents are connected.

Conclusion - It is a good novel for passing time and for people whose hobby are reading like me :). Don't put yourself as the MC of the story cause you will feel depress when you read at the part of his childhood friend breaking up the promise. Trust me you will feel like getting NTR'd by the small fry/ tr*sh hero. Aigoo Why someone has a mentality like aria exist in this story. Betrayal is hard. <<less

It kinda follows the one-punch man idea, where you know he's never going to lose a fight. Unlike one-punch man, it never has good characters. The wives are interchangeable, and don't receive enough screen time to have personality. You can't actually like the MC because he's the beta as f*ck clueless moron stereotype. The supporting cast are alright, but once again don't really develop enough to save the story.

TBH I'm just past half-way through, and I don't think this story has more to offer me. The total lack of character... more>> growth is perfectly demonstrated in 126, and I don't really feel like wasting time reading nothing with a side of fluff.

I can only recommend it if you're looking for a gag story with no depth. It's probably my fault for expecting some kind of actual plot in this type of novel.

Side note: The translator for the first 150ish chapters moved domains recently, so you have to manually fix the url for every chapter... It really doesn't help my annoyance with this novel. <<less

A nice attempt on fantasy onepunchman, but failed. The MC is still a NJS (normal japanese schoolboy) in mentality, unlike the original (Saitama of OPM). That makes the story so much less fun, even 3 stars is a generous offer, IMO, it deserves 2.5 out of 5, or 5 out of 10. It is readable, sometimes even enjoyfully so, but it severely lacks something, and I think this something is OPM's "not giving a s**t".

There seems to be an experienced prostitute joining the harem.... And the worse part for me was that she even made the final decision herself as well.... like yeah of course the situation kind of forced her but in the end it says that she decided to sell herself out of guilt and stuff.... I mean yeah I understand she's pitiful but despite everything she did choose the other things over her own dignity and virtue as human and so I really couldn't help but ask if she's really suitable as an ideal partner.... : (

[collapse]

Well though wn does have quite a few set backs (poor writing style, and bit repetition of unrealistic cliche) it had its own style of humor and was interesting enough.... (it was a pretty good story to read to pass time without much emotional 'burdens')

IF only not for the reason that I couldn't accept the aforementioned situation due to my belief (I don't feel like explaining in depth but I am not biased against a single gender for this matter and I hope no one would judge me for my belief although it may not be conventional nowadays I guess...) I actually might not have dropped it maybe.

The whole NTR issue kinda did hold me back from starting this series but no worries cause it's more of a issue of a betraying trust and promise more than anything (and if you consider this whole issue as simply a tragic setting/motivation of the story, well I found it to be much less serious than other novels where MC's relatives are slaughtered and stuff...) <<less

well what to say about it... I gave it 2.5/5. It was enjoyable and I laughed out a couple of times when the MC shows his guild card with all his information on it, but I think that's all. I mean The harem part is too cringe. I liked the part where we can see the point of view of the harem members at first but as the story goes on, I got more and more fed up with it. It was kind of the same thing repeated over and... more>> over again. They all (the harem members and the MC) fall in love so quickly and so easily that it's somewhat strange.

Spoiler

I really enjoyed it until the harem catch up with the MC... After that, it's like a spoiled man with a lot of women trying to comfort him and to please him, it was too much

[collapse]
Besides that, I like how the LN and the WN are different, I thought that it's good to give the readers two ways about how it ends with a certain someone, well I don't think I should say more about it because this was what kept me reading this...
Spoiler

But I must say that I didn't have a sense of satisfaction in the WN for the conclusion, even after the match between the two... It's not like I didn't want the conclusion of the WN to happen but I think that it could have been better, I mean it changed the focus too quickly and for something that I waited for so long, I was kind of disappointed. They shouldn't settle this like that, the conclusion is too weak for having the consequences of why all that happened... It's just my opinion though, and I tried as best as I could to not spoiler it

[collapse]
if you're interested in it just search about the differences between the two versions on the forums of this website or elsewhere you should know what I'm talking about ;)

Spoiler

Lastly what I thought was completely unbearable was the moment when one of the ennemy of the MC stole a kiss from one of the harem member and she started crying because it was her first kiss and "she wanted to give all her firsts to the MC" and the MC comes angrily in the room and all that stuff, I was like WTF!! Is it something to cry over with? Is it that important that she will not give her first kiss to the MC?huh...

[collapse]

But as I said earlier, it's sometimes funny like when he shows off his guild card, the beginning is good but the adventure is average and somewhat predictable.

Well, I may have criticized this novel a lot, but it was enjoyable. it's not a really good novel, but it's not a really bad novel either, if we exclude some parts, it could become really good, so if you have time, just give it a try and have your own opinion about it. <<less

This is not a ntr novel, I see alot of people say that and it simply isn't true after being betrayed by his childhood friend who *spoilers* slept with the hero (LN is different) our dear MC suffers from weak mentality and a over active imagination. This leads to many misunderstandings in which he suffers partly due to his own fault but also due to the poor word choices of the other parties.

That being said he isn't constantly NTR'd nor is he a beta he actively wants to defend his... more>> women its just that they are more overprotective and actively handle other males who approach them before he gets the chance.

The grammar is rough at first and they story is no Tate no yuusha but it is light hearted, has funny interactions and is a decent way to pass the time.

The story is funny overall and once the MC gains more confidence his character overall improves. Give the story a chance before you write it off.

Spoiler

As for the childhood friend she chose the hero after many adventures and life saving moments. They fell in loved she slept with him (WN only), its not surprising these things happen should she have told him first before the whole fiasco took place yeah and thats on her for being a selfish c*nt but it happened he gets over it though you could say she is the reason he's so passive with love at first.

So people give ratings that all over the place and to be honest they are all right and wrong in some respects, heck this might be wrong too but whatever.

This is a story about a heartbroken guy going harem collecting and confronting his trauma. Simple enough right? I wouldn't say the characters are overly deep they each have their obligatory cliched backstory but they are distinct in some respects but beyond that they rarely develop into complex people with unique thoughts and reactions. What I'm trying to say isn't that... more>> on a scale of 1-5 they are about a 2. My advice is yes this can be enjoyed despite its flaws just shut off your brain and binge it. The comedic aspect is more or less it's selling point, battle scenes are not it's forte, think the Saitama style for fighting and that sums up most fights. Well that aside I'm interested in the overall plot but some of the arcs get boring with the explanations so skip around if you get bored. <<less
