Although she dearly wished she could just live a peaceful and uneventful life in her new healthy body, fate had other plans…
Forced to disguise herself as a boy just so she could inherit her deceased father’s premium military benefits, Ling Lan’s journey to adulthood was full of challenges. After much difficulty, she finally turned sixteen when she could drop the charade. But before she could grasp her newfound freedom to get married and start her own family, a twist of fate results in her being thrown into the Federation’s top military boys’ school.

- The MC, while interesting, doesn't resonates alot with the reader because the author hides her reactions, behind a "mask" if you will, with a cold and expretionless face. And even though it is explained why, it makes the MC a little less interesting and if she didn't have great supporting characters the novel would be a lot worse.
- The author spoils her own story by constantly writing lines that say what will happen next and ruins great chances for dramatic or comedic reveals.
Spoiler
[collapse]
But it has many good points that makes it worth reading likeLike saying that the dead father would return or spoiling future enemies and exploits that she has on her academy and military years
- great supporting characters
- although a little problematic the MC is better than the stereotypical MC in chinese novels
- the story so far is interesting and funny
and more little things that someone could find and like.
