It was alright? I enjoyed the beginning, but soon enough the premise of the complete the "tasks" disappeared entirely. I enjoyed the exchanges between MC and System a lot though. Also, I liked that we actually see the relationship and the feelings develop, and the MC's character is refreshing. However, some things were way too rushed.

Basically, after they have s*x the first time, it feels like the story changes.

Firstly, the MC turned OP overnight (during interc**rse) ?? And then there was a bit about "you saw that I won't drag... more>> you down" but the only reason he was strong was that he was using ML's sword. If he's using it ML can't, thus he will definitely be dragging ML down. It doesn't make sense that he can fight on equal footing with old cultivators so quickly on his own.

Yes his body has some special constitution, but my understanding is it'll turn the person OP through many exchanges, particularly if there are many partners. Otherwise, if he improves so much every few months with just one partner, that's way too crazy.

Secondly, basically, the quirks of the characters unique to this story disappear. Like it was interesting seeing the dynamic of their relationship when the ML is desperately in love but the MC is holding back, and it shows nuances of their character. However, after interc**rse, it basically becomes every other Chinese xianxia's relationship.

Also, I'm so upset with the JiSi development!!!

The moment he starts questioning his motives and his reason to return, coincidentally he finds out JiSi is in this world too. Like, what???? The development happened way too smoothly and he overcomes that way too quickly. And after he figures that out BOOM it becomes typical xianxia relationship.

Tbh I got bored like 15 chapters from the end, and it was very difficult to complete the last 10 chapters. That said, the story really isn't that bad. Try it out yourself. <<less

i had a vague sense of familiarity while starting this and I specifically remember the habitual eating of his fruit/boobs. As I read further the familiarity grew stronger and so yes, I read this before and forgot. Its not bad and has some funny moments but nothing that made it stand out or linger in my mind. Still, it's short and an easy read.

This is a fluffy story with a plot. The romance and flirting is so prominent that it easily becomes downright annoying at times, and I had to skim through it. The action and drama are weak, and the conclusion still leaves a lot of unanswered questions even after reading the extras. It wasn't bad, but it definitely could have been better or at least written in a more exciting manner. It's a nice way to pass some time, but I probably won't remember a thing about it a month from... more>> now. <<less

This novel is so amazing!

It's really well written and translated, the author and translator comments are funny, and a plot actually exists. I really enjoyed it and I'm so glad that it's completed. I really liked how cute and fluffy it is and I would definitely read it again. The MC and ML are really sweet together, and I love how they would often abuse the single beings.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

I quite enjoyed this short novel—not to the extent of loving it due to its overall atmosphere and some other annoyances, but was still quite satisfied by the end. Would recommend to BL lovers but not fujoshis ;)

First off, do NOT be fooled by that cute cartoony cover image—it's a fan art based off a recurring meme in the story, barely relevant to the story itself. This novel, despite its comedy tag, isn't exactly light-hearted as I would have liked, with a lot more drama both plot-wise and romance-wise.... more>> There might be some slightly amusing and ridiculous parts, esp. The conversations between the MC and the System, but otherwise the novel isn't all that comedic. I admit to getting pretty fed-up with the romance (or the lack of) between the MC and ML, particularly the constant refusal from the MC because of his stubbornness to exact revenge for a dead person in his former life. Luckily, after quite a few chapters, he finally comes to terms with his guilt and is able to slightly return the ML's constant efforts. Sigh. Also I don't mind cold people (GDBBM comes to mind) but the forced total lack of emotion is still quite annoying.

After the MC and ML finally actually get together, their interactions are pretty adorable, ad the ML is fluffy and sweet as always. There's a couple disturbing/violent scenes, but for the most part life settles down and we can see a relatively satisfying HEA, especially with the added extras. Though I am still indignant over the almost complete lack of smex. What a travesty, I tell you! Overall, a quite entertaining read. <<less

This novel was lovely, there were sweet moments and some short angst moments, but no plot holes that I can think of or care about and the interaction between the main characters were syrupy most of the time. The MC had his personal reasons for not wanting to give into his feelings for ML though some may find it frustrating, but speculating on his thoughts, IMO, MC probably felt too much guilt due to what happened in his previous life thus likely thought he also didn't deserve to be happy... more>> either. <<less

Quite a lot of fun with lots of funny moments especially with the treat of going OOC puts thee MC into some sticky situations. Their's also a fairly natural progression into the romance. That is to say, where the protagonist isn't initially attacked to the main male lead.

The author has also put some thought into the background of the different characters which explain their abilities and behaviours although this isn't obvious in the beginning.

I personally didn't find this story outstanding, but it certainly was entertaining enough to be worth a... more>> read. <<less

Totally in love with this novel. System is a sassy little thing and I love it! I love the couple now towards the end then I did in the beginning. It was like pulling teeth to get JiYuan to admit to his feelings, which made me want to throat punch him many times. However now they are super adorable and I have no complaints. The couples relationship reminds me of the couple from “ the legendary masters wife”. Which is another novel that I love so it was very easy... more>> for me to get hooked on this one. An adorable story with some emotional moments.

It's not the best story ever, but it's pretty entertaining. The MCs are pretty interesting/developed. The characters' interactions are funny. The ending is being predictable, but I wonder whether the MC will tell the ML about his situation?

I haven't read many novels like this (BL, transported in cultivation world with system).

MC's new body is pretty interesting. Lots of 'fun' situations surrounding him...
