He's already got his life figured out by the time he meets her so there's NO guilting the readers into pitying him or getting needlessly depressed.

He can read lips, use written communication, and he speaks in sign language. The fact that he's in a wheelchair is just an extra detail that doesn't bother him because he's a cheerful and beautiful boi.

This author's other works also deal with issues of disability and how they affect life and the character's outlook and personality. It's refreshing to see as I previously haven't read any Chinese web novels that deal with similar issues. While it is true that the problem the female lead is trying to resolve (i.e. Her best friend's su*cide due to s*xual harassment from a co-worker/boss) are not the main plot here, I thought the angle the story used was nevertheless effective. I really liked it, but it was way too short. It felt incomplete and you never really saw the stuggle in their relationship

You never see them actually developed through hardships. It just kinda happened because she underestimated him and told him everything.

I think it would've been a nice touch to see the NO point of view

Honestly, this story is so beautiful but unfortunately, it felt so incomplete because:

It will be better if the author added several chapters to tie the loose ends in this story.

This one packs a lot of back story into three chapters. Its a story I can get behind and picture translated to a drama. The synopsis is condescending. The story is not. Its a little thin and the characters remain cyphers, but somehow the author manages to convey the depth of their connection. You believe they both would find value in the other. Nice short story from a female protagonist point of view, narrates about the times between her first meeting with her love interest till the time he confessed and she fell for his strength. But probably... it is too short. I guess, some things need to be elaborated further, because I can't get any feel from it, although the premise is interesting.

Only a very short story with a lot hinted at but hardly any clear conclusions. Three stars for the story. Fourth star for the courage to clearly take sides on two very nasty aspects of human society which boil down to discrimination.
