I really love this novel and highly recommend it!!! This was one of those novels that I can continue rereading and never get bored of it ever! I never feel restless or annoyed by the wait for the next release because I'm able to keep rereading and never get bored of it! The translator is also awesome enough to actually release all the parts of each story or world the MC goes to so you never have to feel anxious and wait for the next chapter because of a cliffhanger!... more>> All in all, this is an awesome novel and I'm really glad the translator picked it up and hope that they will stick with it until it's done because it's truly an awesome novel!!!

This novel is superb. It is like an unpolished gem that hides a a secret miniature sun inside. First of all, the setting is very creative and interesting. It is like many reincarnation stories but at the same time it differs. The plot is fascinating and although it sometimes gets repetitive but I am addicted to that repetition. The setting is unique and tense in each world and it's interesting to see the views of different types of people (kings, nobles, models, CEOs, singers, etc.). I just love seeing him trumps his enemies and use everything there is to his advantage to achieve things we cannot imagine. He does seem excessively op but there were many instances to where he makes mistakes, especially regarding to the ml. The ML is just a beautiful piece of obsessiveness.

Although it is unclear why, the fact that he always manage to chase after the MC in EVERY world and how in each of them, they always end up together for the rest of their life no matter the circumstances makes me cry.

He is so loving and perfect for someone like the MC who is powerful (in personality) and a total S. Their love can be felt even it seems superficial and fake but the fact that they always look only for each other and dedicate their everything just proves that the MC at the very least accepts the feelings. And if you are still not clear by now, yes it is yaoi/bl. The sad thing is you don't get a lot of descriptions for those scenes and only a few loving moments in each world (so I made a collection from all the worlds together for myself). The way they interact with each other, especially the way the ML lusts and obsesses over the MC is adorable and very satisfying but I can never get enough. The only big qualm about this novel is how short each of the story is. At the end of each story, I always want it to prolong for about 100 more chapters. Although the plot connecting all of the stories are a little weak but I expect it to be explained soon so I hope everything gos well, heck I hope it goes on forever. <<less

I didn't even know it was possible to love a story this much. The author fulfills all kinds of pairing preferences and backgrounds in one story. I love how it goes from modern drama to xianxia world. The different types of personalities the MC plays is amazing and shows that just reincarnation doesn't mean the reincarnator has to rework the originals entire personality. You don't have to become black bellied and kill everyone in your way. My favs happen to be when that doesn't happen. So I totally recommend this... more>> to anyone ready for a more serious but still light story that can grab your attention and make you wonder, what's next? <<less

Sigh, if you didnt read this now, you will regret it. Really. You will regret it, like me, that why didnt I read this novel sooner!!

The characters of first volume of this novel is very hard to memorize. I had to read the chapters more than 10 times each. Maybe I'm just dumb lol. But I'm so glad I did! Wow, the story is so awesome. It's so funny how love struck the main lead becomes to our protagonist. Yes, our protagonist is pretty OP but it doesn't take away from the story. So hilarious and touching at the same time.

Okay to start with, I personally loved this novel. As someone who's a very picky reader and pays close attention to the reviews I had first left this series seeing the few negative reviews but after completing it I would like to say even if it has flaws it's a very good read. I loved every arc except for a few like abo one. The reason I got so into this novel was because of how good the MC was for to me, beauty with brains. I absolutely don't like... more>> the novels in which system supresses the character of the MC or where MC acts too dumb. But I loved the MC for his skills, plans and ofc his brain. He's not ur white lotus he's a gray character has suffered made other suffer but at the end of the day still has his own moral codes. Some arcs are good and some are not, especially the parts where the MC is a minor and the ML is an adult. However, what I like about this novel is that it has a lot of ‘stories’, and it’s like I'm binge reading on AO3. Also, another irk that I found here is that the MC is an actual minor (I've gotta stop here before I spoil everything). Do I recommend this? 50/50. I read this a long time back right when the quick transmigration genre was popular

it was my first one and I loved it then I decided to reread and personally I still enjoyed it it’s something I can read when I want to not think much

and just watch MC and ML be op and face slap a bunch of people that’s what I was craving and that’s what I got so I’m very satisfied

if your looking for a extremely deep story like QJJ or sha po lang then you’ll obviously... more>> be disappointed but if your looking for some good old face slapping and MC domination with a little angst at the end I definitely recommend it! Rereading this for the third time. This novel is literally the best quick transmigration novels I have ever read. I was planning on skipping arcs I didn't like or didn't find interesting, but tell me why I just reread the whole thing lmao.

I see some low ratings just cause this novel contains underage nsfw content, so be warn, this novel has that. If that's a trigger for you or a deal breaker, don't read it. The underage nsfw is only in a few arcs (I think less than 4?) it's... more>> not many. There's also pseudo in*est in some of the arc. If that's not your jam, you can skip those arcs. Personally, idgaf. So I don't remember very clearly which arcs they are. Sorry :/

Did anybody mention there's bestiality in this novel? I think that was much more of a shock to me. There's 2 arcs where that was present. Like dang, I wish people told me that cause I was FLABBERGASTED. Like omg the author did that huh?? I didn't bother me but it did surprise me, did not know the author was gonna go there. TLDR: Enjoyable read with a fun MC, but I'm going to have to morally condemn the author for writing underage NSFW content.

As a face-slapping novel, it does great! I kept having to filter through some garbage to get to the good parts, though. In several arcs, the MC is in the body of a 16 year old, and he DOES participate in NSFW activities with the ML. The MC himself is mentally an adult who can consent, but the ML doesn't know that. Listen, if you want a twink, there... more>> are plenty of twinks in their 20's. A 16 year old isn't a hot and sexy twink, that's a kid who's scrawny from puberty. This is the main reason this novel is 2 stars, though there are definitely some other major issues.

Minor spoilers below regarding basic character details within each arc; content warning for s*xual assault.

There's also 2 arcs with bizarre pseudo-in*est between adopted brothers and father/son. In the father/adopted son arc, the MC (father) did not know that the son was the ML until the very end when the ML turned 18, and the MC raised the son with genuinely familial/mentor intentions. That said, still weird.

The last arcs are the worst, as the author introduces r*pe as a plot device. At some point, there is r*pe between the main couple; the MC's inner monologue clarifies that he's down for it, but the ML 100% believes that he is assaulting the MC for almost the entirety of the arc. He does not feel any guilt about it. In another arc, the MC organizes the assault of a woman who was attempting to frame him for assault. It makes sense for his character, but I genuinely don't know why the author wrote that. There's also an arc where a supporting character r*pes an antagonist; he remains one of the 'good guys' in the narrative framing and gets together with another supporting character. Some female antagonists are forced into selling themselves and are mutilated; again, I think it's terrible that the author wrote that in.

In terms of praise; I like the MC. It's extremely obvious that the MC is just as villainous and terrible as many of his opponent, so the overall story pokes at the importance of narrative framing. There's definitely a sort of irony to it, with the MC commenting on the classic protagonist halo, unknowing that he himself is 100% subject to an protagonist halo. He's not a good person, but he's an enjoyable character.

The ML is not as good. He's the type of ML that doesn't let their partner have any friends... or at least, the author never included any friendly characters that weren't jealousy fodder.
From what I can recall, there's only 1 arc with notable female characters who were genuinely characterized as kind people, and another arc where MC expresses his admiration for a female character who had a similar "Pain must be returned 100x, kindness is rewarded by 1000x" attitude. <<less

I remember when this first came out, I was amazed at how good it was despite the fact that it was MTL. Whenever the website came out with one whole story arc, there would be errors because everyone was reading and the website couldn't handle that much traffic. That's how popular it was!

I think what I like most about the story is that the story arcs are never boring, and it moves on to a new world quite quickly, which means that the pacing is excellent.

Loved it.

I'm not a fan of QT, mostly because I do not like the MC being forced constantly not to OOC, gets old really quick for me.

Most everything that can be said has been said in the reviews, so I won't elaborate too much. I think the reviewer Darkestcloud summed up my likes and issues with the novel well, I just gave a higher rating.

Loved the MC, ML was meh. ML in the first couple of stories was okay, but I feel like he just became bland, only know for... more>> his pe*vert behavior. It's like his character regressed instead of grew.

I recently read this again as it's finally all been translated, including side stories. So thank you to all the translators.

I wasnt a fan of the extra 2 chapters that fit in the story before the end. The one where he was a fox was ok.... maybe a little out of my kink zone, but mostly cute. The extra with the monk, felt like a scrap from the authors cutting room floor, wasn't their best.

The extra with the reborn brother from the piano/heart one was cute, worth reading. It shows an interesting take on how immature the MC really was in the beginning of his forced QT compared to main story MC. I wasn't overly attached to the ML in the main story, so I had no issue with a different ML 😂 <<less

This an amazing novel. It was perfect. I felt emotional, excited, sad, happy while reading it. And now most of the world hopping novel looks dumb to me Where MC is sweet inoccent ignorant and the ML is the dominating boss type.

3 stars wasn't what I read a QT Face Slapper for.

I'll give it this, it's well written and comprehensible and the translation is beyond top notch. I especially thank the translator for explaining the cultural references in the original text. If the rules allowed I would give this an extra half star just for that.

What brings the story down to just 3 stars maybe less? Why did I drop after the first arc? There was just too much unbelievable PLOT to make reading the story enjoyable. There was the usual... more>> CNovel issue of children evil beyond anyone's years. Then there was the MC who came across as OP beyond belief, and had no need to accomplish things he just proclaimed them and they happened. Finally there were completely ridiculous side characters that destroyed immersion.

The MC is the eldest son of a chaebol type family. The 2nd brother is adopted and the third is illegitimate via a mistress. The father for reasons is out to destroy the first two. This winds up with the third doing the dirty work of setting the two up without it ever being shown on screen. Once the MC takes control, he goes to America and before you can say Jack Sprat he's Bill Gates. The way he makes money is ridiculous at best. (Starts off writing a star wars game with 400k Yaun, won't even buy him a star wars T-shirt license). Anyway he comes back for his father's death, instead of actually face slapping him or playing with him, he just lets him know he knew he screwed him over, but not that it did no good and he would soon be undoing all of dear old dad's works.

Then he extends his hand and his vengeance happens, on to the next arc.

I accidentally rated this story 1 star even though in actuality I want to give it a 3 star. I hope the system will be able to fix that. I started reading this story last week and was able to finish it this morning. I invested myself in this story so much to the point that I suffer from lack of sleep, too engrossed to stop reading. But after I had actually finished reading it, I don't know what to say. I suppose that I should feel bittersweet. This is... more>> the longest transmigration bl story that I have ever read and arguably the most unique and interesting boylove story that I have read too. But I don't feel bittersweet. I don't feel sad or happy or whatever. Then I read some of the reviews and finally made up my mind about what I want to say about this story.

This story is overrated. I will stick to that. The main thing that draws me to read this story is because of the huge amount of readers that rated it five star. It made me curious and wonder "Is this story great? I should read it and see for myself" but I'm disappointed. Even though I really enjoy FOD and can't help but root for the main character, I won't give it five star. It isn't good enough to get five star but not bad enough to get less than three star. I agree with most of the reviews above. There are some story arcs or "worlds" that are very well-written, emotionally compelling, have great antagonists and a satisfying ending. I particularly love the autistic painter, modelling competition, zombie apocalypse and music prodigy storylines. I know that some people (maybe a lot) don't like the modelling competition storyline but I love it. I have always been obsessed with America's Next Top Model so when I found out that there's a story arc about modelling competition, I was perplexed and then felt excited. I agree that the ML is weird, to say the least but it didn't hinder the enjoyment that I got from reading this chapter. For once, we finally have a "kind" female character. Ivana was such a great character and provided extra layers of depth to the story, making it feel more emotionally realistic. Also this story is very light compared to the others so after constantly reading about people getting killed or going to prison, I can finally read in extreme happiness and not being worried about gruesome things happening. The main antagonist, Emily also isn't that evil and her level of wickedness seems like a bird's feather when compared to the other villains in this story (I'm looking at you, the Xue family)

The music prodigy story arc is also something that is worthy of praise. After reading for so long and stumbling across multiple story arcs of varying qualities, I'm worried that the author is losing her juice and the future stories won't be good but I'm wrong. The music prodigy storyline exceeds my expectation and I would dare to say that it is the best "world" in FOD. The wickedness of the Xue family and the extreme transformation of Xue Jing Yi still made me shudder after so long. I won't spoil anything for you but you should prepare yourself to feel quite scared and even shaken after reading this story arc. It isn't that scary but as a human, you would feel scared that there are indeed people who do such terrible things. Again the ML is a flatly written character and doesn't really interests me but the supporting characters are layered and feel so humane. Except from the father who was very cruel and selfish, the other Xue family members are nice people that committed terrible things for what they think is a good cause. I forgot the older brother's name but you might find yourself sympathizing with him after the story ended. He genuinely fell in love with our MC and even saved him from being mu*dered (even though we know that the MC would never die by such manner).

Those are the good storylines. What about the bad ones? I would say that the fourth world is quite boring. The conflict is meh and you can just skip it if you want. You won't miss a thing. This world definitely lowers the bar that had been set by the first three worlds. The rest are decent and mediocre but then we have the 12th world that is so BORING I skipped reading it after about three chapters. Like seriously, this story seems like it was written in haste by the author just to fill her free time. But if you like it, I have no objection.

Let's talk about the ending now, shall we? How should I describe it? It was decent? I won't lie that I actually feel nothing after reading the last chapter. There are no anger or happiness. I expect a better ending but yet I think this ending is enough. After finish reading FOD, I felt that it is overlong and the ending should have come much sooner. Aside from the four great storylines that I mentioned, I don't really care about the rest. <<less

First, this novel is not for everyone. If you're planning to read this, you've got to know that this novel has A LOT of trigger warnings from beginning to end, and most of them would be really disturbing and morbid and really not for everyone. I can perfectly understand those people who don't like this novel because of those unpleasant aspects. But since I'm the kind of reader who wouldn't shy away from the ugliness of the humanity, there were times that it bothered me but it wasn't... more>> enough reason to drop this. Because I can honestly say that I was thoroughly invested in reading this book. It really hooked me!

Second, both the MC and the ML are not particularly good people. I repeat, they are not conventionally good people. You might not like them because they're not naïve, kind and merciful and they wouldn't think twice to use people to their own advantage. They don't have the hero mentality who's crazy on helping everyone. They are even willing to sacrifice someone for their own goal. But they have set their own bottom lines. They would not indiscriminately harm innocent people, but they are especially ruthless and cold-blooded when it comes to dealing with people who provoked and harmed them. Expect to see them make their enemies pay them back a hundredfold.

Every arc happened in different worlds and all of them have revenge plot on them. This novel is about the MC who was once chained by the system in a virtual world consisting of different 'small' worlds. He was forced to be the villain in every world he came in without having a freedom to act on his own, then by the end, was always miserably killed by the supposed 'protagonists' of that world without a fight. He experienced hundreds, if not thousands, of those worlds before he was able to break away from the system's control. After gaining his freedom, he can act whatever he wanted in those worlds. He still woke up in a body of a 'villain' every time but he already gained the chance to retaliate against the 'protagonists'. From there, the MC started his own revenge. And his cruel revenge would always leave his enemies neither wanting to live nor die. He has this revenge motto, "The greatest joy from revenge would be to lift them up to the heaven, as high as possible, then let them fall to the ground, dying little by little from bone-crushing despair". He didn't strike them as soon as possible. He would raise his enemies hope and self-esteem then viciously crushed it. That's how ruthless he is.

On the other hand, the ML has this mysterious vibe in him. He seems to be following the MC in every world but he actually has no memory of him. The ML has this instinct of falling in love with the MC in every world. In the first three worlds, the MC was not yet sure but he has this hunch that his lover from the first world was the same person as the guys he was inevitably attracted with in the next worlds. When he confirmed that in every world his lover was there, he had set this mission of looking for him. Kissing would be the only way to identify his lover (imagine how hard it was for the MC to look for the ML) but his lover can always picked the MC out of the crowd regardless of his 'memory loss'. The ML always, I mean always, fell in love with the MC in the most passionate way, no matter what world they are in. I was actually quite frustrated because the moment he confirmed that his lover was 'following' him in every world, the more he looked for him, the more he missed who the real ML is. He had this situation where he kissed the wrong guy but the right guy was just literally by his side the whole time. I always felt cheated whenever that happened. That actually stressed me out. But around arc 13, something happened that made the MC easily detect his lover and he now found his chance to be the one chasing the ML. It was quite cute. The arcs where the MC was not confused about the identity of his lover, those arcs are my personal favorite. Their relationship was not particularly healthy but their burning, unconditional love is what I always wanted to see. Their love transcends everything, even world and time.

Honestly, this novel is quite flawed. It has a lot of unpleasant things and might not really for everyone, but I personally loved this novel. I would be rational and not rate this novel as perfect, but this is definitely my guilty pleasure. If you're planning to read this, please beware of the trigger warnings such as death, su*cide, r*pe, in*est, huge age gap relationship (sometimes the other person was minor), mu*der, bestiality, cheating, prostitution, drugs, bullying and many more. You see, this really has a lot of distressing things but if you can bear it, you really need to read this. <<less

I have come across this novel several times but I didn't read it cuz the reviews were not very popular

But after a review from another author I did decide to give a try for some meh- time

I liked the novel very much including the protagonist many comments suggested that he was too insidious but according to me he is perfectly fine considering his circumstances. Maybe that's not true in all novels but I was kind of bored reading that...

The protagonist is not some saint but he is also not brainless to fight when someone didn't do anything wrong to him.. so that kinds of balance offs.

At the supermodel arc I was kinda embarrassed because of all the narsisistic talks but later it gets better like the last part ending is very good.
