I have a love-hate relationship with this novel.

The story started out great. Theodore might have been overpowered on some occasions, but that's to be expected from a fantasy novel. The harem wasn't that bad, although in my opinion, the novel would have been better without it. The characters were... not bad, but not great. I feel like there could have been more development. Also, the inclusion of Earth was quite nice.

However. How. Ever. There is one thing that I absolutely hate about this novel. The last 100 chapters.

After... a certain... more>> event, happening around chapter 300, the novel goes downhill really fast. While the first 300 chapters developed Theodore's abilities nicely, I cannot say the same about the last 100. After he defeats a certain someone, he just gets power-ups like it is candy. On the other hand, the last five chapters were a great ending to the story.

To give you context, I started reading The Book Eating Magician around the start of September 2019. I read chapter 300 late November or early December. And, I read chapter 380 around February 2020. I completed this novel, the remaining 20 chapters, on August 1st 2020. It took me almost an entire year to read a 400-chapter novel. Do keep in mind that I read quite often. While maybe not as much as some people, I don't have trouble reading 20 chapters a day, if I enjoy something. But I had to force myself to complete this, as I didn't want to throw it in the Dropped section.

In short, I don't hate The Book Eating Magician. It just feels sad that a novel with such a good start can mess it up so badly in its last part. If you want to read it, go for it. However, I cannot recommend you to read it completely. If you want the best experience, read the first 300 chapters, up until the point where a certain someone is defeated, and then jump onto chapter 395. <<less

This is an Average read. It had a lot of potential but the author is not very creative at a lot of areas. It has no world building and has no romance.

Pros:

- The MC is OP but he always fight enemies who are more powerful than him.

... more>> - The concepts of magic is used properly.

- The Translator is amazing.

Cons:

- The author gives up on the novel after chapter 350 the story is complete bullsh*t after that. End and start of the story makes you want to drop the novel.

- The are lot of shallow characters. There are a lot of forgotten elements or characters.

- The world building is a complete bs. (The entire world is a fantasy but at the end japan comes out of nowhere)

- The romance is non-existent. There are no romantic scenes the story directly skips to bed scenes.

- The time skips are the worst.

It deserves 3.5 but the novel only passed as the middle part of the story is entertaining.

It is worth reading once. <<less

I am posting this because I loved this serie and by mistake gave it 4 stars. This a 5 stars novel.

1- world and power building are clear and well explained.

2- the batles are logical.

... more>> 3- nice harem with everyone happy with the situation and not forced.

4- MC is truthful to his ideals and objective until the end. He wanted to became a powerful magician because he loves magic and want to protect his loved ones. He doesn't stray from this until the end.

5- MC is responsible in his love relationship and only advance when he is sure and ready to take responsibility. I really like this part since he isn't a MC that jump in bed with any women. He actually develop his relationship before that. <<less

Another decent KR novel that has a western feel (character names/places), and an interesting magic system for the MC. The writing quality feels mediocre in terms of flow and dialogue, but not sure if that's translation or writer's ability. Decent overall and worth reading.

*Update* 1 month later (c195). This book has become horrible. It feels like there's a new translator or it's machine translated. The phrasing and translation is incredibly "clunky" and awkward. The first 100 chapters felt fine and read like from a competent authoer, but it's now like... more>> reading something from a pre-teenager. 2 stars. <<less

meh it feels too cliche..... too much plot armot.. too much coincidence.....i wanted to give it more time and read more chapters but honestly I dont feel like forcing myself, , , , , inconsistencies in logic always ruin a story for me... btw the spoiler is not that bad as I only read 9 chapters

So the main cheat that the MC has is this gluttony which eats books among other things and absords the knowledge and transfers the ability to MC. And sometimes when it feels like it, it will answer the MC's question.

what I dont get is why the heck does this gluttony with its vast knowledge not know the simplest spells like lightning bolt or flame magic etc. it's almost as if it forgot all the beginner magics spells so that the MC can learn it slowly....., , ,

Okay, overall I'd say this is worth reading, and my only two big issues are the female character's somewhat shallow backgrounds and equally shallow interest in the MC, and the story feels a bit rushed. To explain what I mean by "rushed", I'll use a little game analogy:

Its like playing a rpg like Fallout or Dragon Age while completely ignoring anything that isn't a story mission or direct prep for said story mission. He completes the main mission, gains some kind of power, then its off to the next main... more>> mission and repeat.

Spoiler

pupil tournament: The moment he showed his combat power at school, his Professor suggests that he enters it, then he meets the strongest pupil there, realizes he can't win, gets stronger, then wins.

The only notable thing that happens between that and the next "main mission" is him becoming friends with the pupil he won against. Besides that kind of pattern, you can just randomly toss in some "MC gets stronger"s and thats it.

[collapse]

Despite all of that, It still manages to be written in a way to (partially) offset these issues. Even though he keeps getting sent to one disaster to another without a break, (unless you count the month-half year time jumps) but at least the events themselves stay interesting. And the currently shallow potential harem members don't subtract much because the MC isn't always thinking of them so it gets pushed into the background.

I suppose that in the end, I just want more character interactions that aren't hinting to some threat to the kingdom or world apocalypse. I'll call this a 3.5 for the time being.

-edit-

Okay now I'm starting to think that the romance tag isn't at all needed for this novel.

Spoiler

A high elf is gender neutral until they decide on who they want to be with. Ellenoa chooses Theodore after he saved the day (well, he saved the continent I guess). The tension died down then she asked him if he'd go on a walk with her. The chapter ends after he accepts, so you'd expect the next chapter to capitalize on this romantic situation right? Well, nope. To top things off, he goes home and is already walking into the next disaster.

~back to being rushed~ At the moment, said disaster is either a king/sultan ordering his soldiers to rob and kidnap people (Theodore was attacked already) OR a million year old dragon that could probably kill Veronica with a sigh.

Has a lot of stuff that most of the novels in this site doesnt have, but lacks lots of stuff that almost every novel have.

Main Character : Literally the innocent hero from the stories told to the children, is so weak, gets power never gets corrupted and its so good he is perfect blah blah blah. 0 plot twists on the MC and 0 improvement or change. He just gets a little bit bold when he becomes a literal god among men.

World Building : It feels real and kinda solid... more>> even thought its full of loops UNTIL the half. Then it becomes literal thrash as gods and mythologic creatures from our world just magically starts to appear (hermes, zeus etc etc..)

Characters : Basically two group = good and bad. Good characters LOVE our characters and bad characters just wanna destroy the world and stuff. No plot twists and no "bad character becoming good" stuff in here either
Spoiler

Sea dragon doesnt count, since he doesnt care about humans in the beginning, and the end. She just wanna f*ck the mc

[collapse]

Harem : MC is a beta male with no interesting sides except being "good", he escapes from every woman possible that likes him, ends up having a harem because
Spoiler

some dead guy says, "man just date them lmao" and he is like, how did I not think of that?? and even though its still extremely snail-paced, he gets a harem, which wasnt necessary in the first place.

[collapse]

Power levels : tr*sh tr*sh tr*sh tr*sh tr*sh tr*sh. AND tr*sh. Author doesnt have a single bit of clue on this. Its the same level the 5 aged child would have. Let me give you few examples. Now, there is magic in this world and magicians gets divided in power ranks according to magic circles they have. A mortal can have at most 8, and a transcended can have 9 while still being on this planet. If you have 9 circles, you are basically a small god. There is also dragons in this novels because why not. Now this is where it starts.. MC is 6 circle peak magician which means he is basically one half step away from 7 circle in terms on magic power. MC basically has cheat skills because of the "device" (grimoire) and he is a protagonist of a light novel so come on, he is at least as strong as beginner 7 circle. So he is as strong as 7 circle, he sets on a journey with a fellow swordsman which is as strong as 7 circle (this is clearly said in the novel). Two of them finds a dragon

, and the device of MC says "EVEN IF YOU TWO GIVE YOUR HARDEST EFFORTS YOU WILL %1 OF WINNING!" to them and then adds 8 circle hot girl from the back home could defeat this dragon with 0 chance of losing. I mean, just by saying this, its fine I guess right? There is just a HUGE gap in between circles, but it should be fine? And this dragon seems to be beginner 8 circle or late 7 circle if we would want to convert it to "circle system". Problem is this: 150-200 chapters later they go on a journey where they find this dragon which is now friendly and begins to fight some foes. I would like to add that our MC is now peak 8th circle and is the strongest magician on the planet. And our 7th circle peak dragon decides to help him. I mean, she (dragon is a she) will just give emotional support like, cheerleading right? No, she helps against a foe that 8th circle PEAK struggles against. Did I mention that our foe is 9TH CIRCLE HALF GOD FROM THE ANCIENT ERA?. And our dragon F*CKING HARMS HIM? NO f*cking way. No way. This is a moderate ONE example from this book. There is literally no sense of power level in this book. Author just picks who is going to win anyway.

Grimoire: Grimoire is the device MC obtains at the beginning of the book that helps him, you gussed it. Eat books. It also has dozens of features and abilites. WHICH NONE OF THEM MAKES SENSE AND ARE USED IN ANY WAY THAT IS RATIONAL. I will go by ability by ability, and will just tell the ones I remember after finishing in months ago.

-Question Ability= There isn't an 'ability' like this or isnt a seperate thing. But theoretically our MC can ask a question to the grimoire that is from the ancient are and the grimoire just happens to be basically griomire of knowledge so we can just say that everything that can be known, this gromire has it. Our MC can ask a question to this grimoire with the price of eating one less book per day (basically grimoire can eat 3 books per day and get closed, or 2 books per day and user now can ask a question, then its closed, which makes no sense because its the grimoire of gluttony and its said to be STARVING but then it just says "hey 2 books per day mate"). So our MC has very low mana from the birth and decides to ask our grimoire "How can I increase my mana?", which is a brilliant question and after that he literally learns the best way to increase his mana, and uses it until the book's end. AND HE BASICALLY NEVER ASKS A QUESTION LIKE THAT. He asks question to the grimoire of course, and some are important but he never asks very vital questions like, where can I find best books, what is the ideal way to use this spell, how can I strengthen my body and so on an on... This grimoire is literally the wisest thing and universe and MC never really uses the knowledge function.

-Memorize: Every wizard uses some time to use their circles and prepare magic. For examples at some point a wizard prepares a fireball in two seconds and fires it. Pretty simple right? Cool. This ability basically allows user to store spells. He can store spells based on the number of circles he has. If he has 5 circles, he can store 5 spells. Any of you understand how ridiculous of a ability this is? Because author clearly does not. Spells usually requires some amount of circles to be summoned. Lets say Bomb magic (doesnt exist, im just giving an example) can require 5 circles to be operated at the same time. So a magician has to has 5 circles in order to use it and closer the spell's required circle amount, to the circle magician's circle count, it becomes more difficult. So basically 5 circle can cast this 'Bomb' spell in up to 20 seconds (yes there are spells that takes that long, even minutes), while 6 circle magician would require 3-4 seconds. With this memorize function user can cast 5 'Bomb' spells at the same time, in insant when he is a 5 circle magician. IT IS ABSURD. AND AUTHOR NEVER REALISES IT. No one else can does this. NO ONE. He can prepare his strongest spells beforehand and just instantly use it to finish the fight in instant but it goes something like this : MC uses Memorise function. 6 storage has been used. 6 'Bomb' skills goes toward the opponent. Opponent uses earth wall and uses frost spear. REALLY? THATS IT? HE JUST USED 6 TIMES THE MAX OUTPUT HE USED. And nothing really happens, no one says "hey, didint you just cast those incredibly hard skill? And 6 of them in fact, how?". This function is bullsh*t and never used properly.

Transmission: Basically user can absorb some books' author's soul. Lets say its a "Fireball Magic Book" If he decides to use this function he has to do a mission that author gives and he can then absorb a BIG amount of the aouthor's profiency in magic, and not just in fireball magic. He basically takes his/her entire kit into his own being. And just like 'Question Ability' he uses this once or twice at most. Even though he had the opportunity hundreds of times. Every time he uses it, he becomes at least twice as powerful but, I guess its just not that worth it, and he just doesnt use it. (missions arent even that difficult one mission was basically going to the authors hometown. And yes, just going. MC says it would take 1-2 months but it literally makes him at least thrice as powerful.)

At this point im just sick of writing this and got angry just by writing this. So im just going to keep the rest short.

Story : Disaster happens, MC rushes, MC gets awesome power, uses it to overcome the next disaster. for 400 chapters.

Ending : tr*sh. 2/10 One of the worst possible endings that could've happen.
Spoiler

fights the grimoire that becomes 'too greedy' and decides to not have 10th circle because he thinks he will be too powerful to love his hugbox harem. As I said before, MC is a beta male.

It loses major points by explicitly stating archetypes. The author seems absolutely terrified that the reader might be a ret*rd. This incompetence leads the world building into a dumpster fire.

The underlying magic system is pretty good, but the implementation is terrible.

Main character is a total herbivore.

Learns endless amounts of fire magic because the tower is red.

Books can't be copied from a copy (next chapter) actually they can.

Books from zero library can't be copied (2 chapters later) jk.

Chants from ancient times were more powerful than current times because ancient language is closer to the source -> jk chants aren't even really necessary.

MC learns all his magic as chantless -> chants for maximum chuuni effect.

Fire and water together make big boom! Super cheat magician that can learn any spells learns fire and frost... forces them together (zzz oh my bad fell asleep) and creates bigger fire.

Super hidden laboratory has been hidden for thousands of years. As soon as MC hears about it, it's discovered by his enemies. This overrated tr*sh story...

This is low fantasy pretending to be high fantasy. If that's a genre you're into, enjoy.

It starts out interesting, but after a few chapters after obtaining the Grimoire it seems that everything is easy for the protagonist.

Basically:

The world revolves around the protagonist, where he goes the problems appear and the plot armor guarantees that everything will be fine.

My biggest problem with the novel: The Grimoire is too powerful and the protagonist is just a book addict without much personality, they like him because he is "strong" or a "genius", but that is just the power of the Grimoire.

Started okay, then turned to headache inducing story. The author's lack of skill in writing shows, it's so obvious that I'm the one who's hurting from reading his work.
Inconsistency; The MC has absorbed a legendary heroic prince from the past, gotten all the prince's skills, knowledge, demeanor. Yet, stutters and oblivious when it comes to women. I know it is funny when people blush, and most people think its cute. But when it is used too much it just becomes obnoxious. Spell casting that became so vague you wonder... more>> whether is there really casting time or just incantations? An enemy that wants to assassinate the MC yet just stands there to let the MC finish his prayers so the MC can summon a very OP creature. With how antagonistic the other country is with the MC you start to wonder why, how did these imbeciles let the MC's country get to its current power. Many other inconsistencies with the story that just adds up to the obvious lack of writing skills.

Don't make a magical theme story if you cannot understand the meaning of magic diversity!!! The awesome thing about magic is that every magic spell is situational, yet here, the MC's magic usage is dull. Come on! Your story is about magic, and yet nothing is magical about it. Like, what the hell? Every fight after officially getting in the magical kingdom becomes deus ex machina win. Suddenly a light bulb hits the MC's head, ohhhh, this is how I win. Every single major fight ends up with just getting his d*ck bigger than the other guy. No diversity of magic spell, no tactical usage of his HUMONGOUS arsenal of spells, just use the biggest and hope that clinched it, if not, no worries author-sama will do it for us.

He even has spell storage, the amount saved depends on his rank. A spell storage that can release spells instantaneously that are stored beforehand. Yet again, being used in such a crude manner of release all!!! Hope it works, author-sama do it!!!

The additional infos that the author explain why this and why that, the desperation of the author to justify his MC and story, is just so sad. LOLxD
TLDR: Too many inconsistencies and too many missed opportunities that showcases author's lack of writing skill. Just MEH/5. To the ones grading this as 5 (perfect) I dare you to read this story 10x then read it again 5 years later 10x. That would be simple for you guys, after all this is perfect as you have graded. <<less

If you like WNs like Overgeared, LMS, The Second Coming of Gluttony, you'll probably like this LN. It feels like a mix between Overgeared and The Second Coming of Gluttony just a bit more poorly written.

For any fans of rpg type novels, this is a OK read.

Now onto gripes about this WN.
    • MC finds a rival early on in the book and his rival is comparable to him and his teacher talent wise. However since the MC is assisted by his grimoire he has an advantage of being able to advance 10x the rate that his teacher and his rival. So why is his rival able to keep equal pacing to him?
    • MC somehow has a mountain of gold to purchase every rare book he comes across. It's never explained where the gold comes from.
    • MC uses the same spells he learned in the first 30 chapters throughout the entirety of the 200 chapters I've read. He rarely incorporates new spells and instead sticks to the basics. Lazy author much?
    • MC is told to purchase items that would help him by his grimoire and wastes 30 chapters to do it. He then proceeds to summon a dragon and use the item he bought as a sacrifice making the entire 30 chapters pointless. Wtf author?
    • MCs rival uses ice magic. MCs teacher uses fire magic. MC belongs to the "red tower" which primarily uses FIRE MAGIC. Every character in this WN uses one type of magic and sticks to it. Yet the MC is like a hodgepodge of half a dozen different elements, jack of all trades, master of none. He has an earth elemental, uses fire magic, and has the blessing of a water dragon. Like I get the author has to give the MC new magic for plot purposes but at this point the MC is like a chimera of random bullsh*t the author thought was cool to throw together.
    • Some type of catastrophe is always happening at any point in the story. It's honestly exhausting to read through. There's other ways to further plot development than constantly flinging villains at the story.
    • Harem. Any harem is annoying yet every Korean WN has one. Please stop.
    • The sound effects every other sentence are extremely annoying. Sh*t like "Pwuk", "Hwuaak", "Chill", "Yraak", "Shiver", "Trembling" is cringy to read and gets old really fast.
    • War arcs. MC can't take 2 steps without getting flung into a war. So boring. Pointless filler. Why do 9/10 WNs have them? No one likes them. Stop.

This was one of the most pleasantly surprising reads I had in years, and while it has flaws, it is still one of the best written WNs I've seen.

Premise: The protagonist, Theodore Miller, is an intelligent, hardworking student of a magic academy in a western style fantasy setting. Unfortunately, while he is a genius when it comes to magic theory, he has no actual talent to put it into practice. That is, until he stumbles upon a Grimoire, Gluttony of the Seven Sins series, who is more of a trans-dimensional... more>> eldritch entity than just a book, and it has the ability to consume books and artifacts to allow Theodore to rapidly gain knowledge and power, which quickly makes him into the rising star of his kingdom and drags him into the politics of the continent.

Pros:

    • The protagonist, the side cast and the love interests are all fleshed out.
    • The first two-thirds of the story has superb pacing, which only falters to "decent" in the last third.
    • The writing utilizes foreshadowing and Chekhov's Guns very well.
    • The story has numerous well written, really impactful sequences, both ad part of the battles and outside of them.
    • The ending and final battle makes sense and it's both satisfying and somber, as it should be.
Neutral:

    • The harem makes sense, but it is unfortunately dragged out too much.
    • The power progression gets out of hand in the latter parts, though not more so than most works of this genre.
Cons:

    • The author has a fairly grating "fantasy kitchen sink" approach to worldbuilding, throwing in a ton of mythological and occult elements without taking the time to consolidate them into a cohesive setting.
    • There are simply too many "end of the world" threats in the story. Laevatein, Pride, Jerem, Sloth and Lust were all threats that, if left unopposed by the heroes, would have lead to the mass extinction of all sentient races, so it's hard to keep caring when Wrath shows up.
Overall this was a very satisfying read, with good characters and writing, and while the pacing suffers a little around the three-fourths mark, and the author's habit of throwing mythical and historical figures from Earth into the story, along with a lot of modern anachronisms, can be a bit hard on the reader's suspension of disbelief, it is still an outstanding work that deserves more recognition. If we had more options, I would rate it 4 and a half, but since we don't have half stars, I believe 5 is more appropriate than 4. <<less

This is 3-star rating in a world where it means average and not bad. I know people on novel updates like to vote either 1 or 5 stars, but I'm trying to judge it based on content and not spite.

Story - 3

Characters - 2

... more>> Translation - 5

Let's start with the good - The translation quality is one of the best for the classic "cheat protagonist goes around the world collecting harem" novel. While it sounds like 90% Japanese novels just based on this description, at least the translation doesn't have untranslated words left in and the only places you really realise it's written by a foreigner is when the characters start mentioning how someone stopped calling them in honorifics.

The story is average and that's about it. The world is nice, but takes plenty from classic "elves, Earth Gods, etc." It doesn't offer anything new. The best concept in the story is the book that eats other books, but even that has been done already. Just by implementing MC instant learning system.

Characters - This is where it falls flat. Just like every other bad harem novel (and I mean bad because there are good harem novels out there), author fall in the pitfall of adding even more new girls and making the MC's potential love interests. In the whole book, there were about 3 girls that didn't blush when seeing MC. The problem with more than 2 love interests is that besides making the character grow on their own, you also have to make the romance work. 1/3 through the world the character growth stopped for almost all heroines and we were left with constant romantic blushing teenage behaviour. Even the 1000 years old dragons were not immune. There was room for the MC to break the classic cheat protagonist bonds when he actually told someone his cheat secret, but that character fast became irrelevant to the story and he didn't tell anyone else up until the last battles. While it was a nice change from ordinary and it happened near the start, the author didn't capitalise on this and it was left as small change. To improve, I would ditch half the girls in this story or change their gender. Make him stick with 2 main ones that have great character growth. I don't dislike harem, I only dislike bad harem that takes away from the story. <<less

I feel cheated from this novel, I won't go into details, but I hate the part that every beauty that comes in becomes fan of MC and get added to his harem. (I hate harem) I may be a bit biased, but I was really sad as I have picked this novel the moment its first chapter was released.

As for the rest of the story, it is good and readable during free time, the MC is a genius if he was born in our world, but alas he was born... more>> in some boring magic filled world, the pace of the story is fast but the story itself is bland and may not make you come back and get more of it, infinite competitive dungeon and Praise the orc are much better than this, even though one has a harem I didn't find it much annoying than the one in this.

I don't understand how the author is going to make this story go, it would have been better if the author would have showed reaction of his previous classmates after he become the king of gluttony, but the author lost a big chance. The MC's country is perfect and there is no tension in and between, these kind of novel would excel if some political strain is shown and how it impacts the MC, but no, he meets with the king becomes good pals with him, make a 8th level mage mature woman who wears revealing clothes and fiery hair with big bussom to be his teacher who sexually harasses our MC daily.

Yeah!! I have had enough. <<less

He use the power of the grimoire to win a magic competition (considering the others worked hard to be good at magic and he just destroy book to surpass the others)

A lich just teleport the protagonist to his phylactery, it is like a boss that commit su*cide.

Harem member that popup, 3 so far.

What I don't like is that he fight with the power of others, like the magic missile.

No one doubt how he gain all that power in a short time.

Despite the fact that the novel is bland, it is a novel that is good to read. It is just frustrating that it could be realy better if the protag just worked, experimented or asked question to the book to receive power in the place of luck.

Spoiler

Yes, the boy can ask any question to the book and he just don't use it. Why? You can ask any question from your mean of existance to the greatest secret of your world. Ask how to make money easily, lost technologie from the past, how to becaume stronger, how to surpass a level 9 mage, the location of ancient temple, how to have the power of a knight, what type of elemental he has, how to be immortal, how to use spell in one body like the magic missile and many other but MC is s*upid so MC don't ask.

the premise is great but sadly the execution is just a big jumble of cliches:

-hardworking MC but is bullied because he has no talent? Check

-MC is also claimed to be "highly intelligent" but does dumb stuff like basically exposing his cheat because he wants to show-off? Check

... more>> -MC tricks himself into believing he isnt just a cheat ? Check

-wins every 'roll' there is ("very small chance" to get this or that benefit) ? Check

-not only the MC but also the people surrounding are improving their power-levels way to fast? Check

-female lead appears who is forced into the story just for the heck of it? Check

-said female lead happens to also be a genius who had a hard childhood with no friends? Check

-obligatory plot holes? Check

each and every one of those points alone honestly wouldnt bother me too much, but all of them coming together..

if some of those points dont bother you or you are in general more tolerant than me, i'd still say go try it <<less

I stuck to this series for quite some time, but in the end, all I got was a disappointment. The story was quite interesting, it took a unique take on the OP power leveling genre. My biggest disappointment with this series though is the female characters. In the beginning, you are introduced into these powerful female characters that turn out that they can do nothing other than wait for the main character to do something. But what truly made me drop this series, is this one chapter (SPOILERS AHEAD) where... more>> a female companion is mind controlled and the only option for the MC to help her is having s*x with her. Now ignoring all the levels of how f*cked up that is, her reaction after the mind control was off is what truly bothered me. Instead of acting shocked, angry, disgusted, or any of the other valid human emotions that any person would feel when they are forced to have s*x without consent. The writer decides to go down the road of "OMG I just went through a traumatic event in my life but I guess you saved me so I'm fine and I love you now a lot and since you hade s*x with me you can't reject me and now you have to add me to your harem" And Jesus f*cking christ can I for once get a fantasy novel that actually has characters that act f*cking HUMAN/HUMANOID with emotions and brains instead of ooooh powerful dude let me have s*x and pls have my babies. This novel had great potential but of course, the writer had to please the Harem and male fantasy trope. <<less
