Aah, again?

My fiance was gazing intently at my charming younger sister.

When I saw the blaze that lit up in those cold eyes, I was assaulted by deja vu.

My fiance had been in love with my younger sister even in the last life.
There was nothing I could do but watch.

And, by some karma, I was someone who kept returning to that exact moment.

This story is really depressing. In a good way though! Sorta? I swear I'm not a masochist, but this story definitely makes me feel like one for liking it so much.

The main character in the story is Iria, and she's constantly beaten down by pretty much everyone and everything. She can't do much about it either and in many ways is fairly passive throughout the story. There are a crap ton of outside forces working against her, and much of the main story is the reveal of what's actually going... more>> on and how she works past them. Or doesn't, in some cases. You'd have to pretty much have no heart to not cry while reading this since Iria's story is really sad. Take the Tragedy tag seriously. It's there for a reason.

The story as of 9/20 was last update 8/12 with chapter 40, and it seems like it's nearing completion unless there's another big plot twist coming up.

The story itself is so far structured into generally two major portions. The first portion basically serves as an extended prologue and shows Iria struggling through the first couple of instances of her life as it loops back around every time her life ends. It basically functions as the background premise for the second much longer portion, which starts around chapter 18. It can be said that the real story starts at 18 and everything up to that point is for the purpose of setting everything up.

There's definitely an emphasis in the story on playing up Iria's pain and struggle. It's somewhat painful to read at times since Iria is fairly resigned to her lot in life for a good portion of the story, and you really want her to just stand up and yell at all the injustice done to her a lot of the times. Don't be fooled though, there's a reason for a lot of what's going on.

Iria herself is fairly relatable, though not necessarily likable at times. She spends a lot of the story wallowing in her misery, which often leads her to make some very questionable choices that makes the reader want to reach out and yell at her for not taking the obvious route due to her own self doubt. She often misunderstands other people, has a lot of complexes about herself, and goes out of her way to justify her own ill treatment. It's understandable how she got this way, but it can definitely be painful to follow such a character. I'd ask readers not to judge her too harshly though and not to give up on the story too quickly since she does try her best and I feel her story is one worth following.

Fair warning to those more squeamish. The main character suffers a lot in the story, up to and including r*pe, contemplation of su*cide, and multiple instances of death. It's not a story that gets off on torturing the main character exactly, but it definitely gets dark a lot. So if that turns you off, you were warned.

The translation seems to be done by mainly two people. I'll note that the writing for the story itself is a step above what most stories are like in terms of difficulty and is a bit harder to translate as a result, so bear that in mind. Forgetful Dreamer does a fair job at translating things and I didn't note any major errors. The translation has pretty good grammar and sentence structure as well, and mostly reads like proper English. Endofdays42 unfortunately isn't quite good enough to tackle this and has a lot of trouble with turn of phrases and translating things into understandable English. His sentences can get pretty choppy as well, suggesting that perhaps English isn't his native language? Neither is unreadable and they both are translating separate chapters it seems, so you'll end up reading both of them. Just understand that there's a quality drop for Endofdays42 chapters. There's also konoHoshiworks, but that was pretty much just an absolute mess of a MTL and it doesn't seem that he plans on continuing anyways so just avoid that. I don't recommend trying to read this with a machine translator since the writing is fairly dense and often uses language that machines don't translate well.

I'll also note that the author has actually asked that his work not to be translated after receiving a request from a Korean translator. He has a note posted 04/24/17 stating that he's basically blanket refusing any and all translation requests of any of his stories (posted or otherwise) from anyone. He says that he wants to focus on writing and doesn't want to deal with anything like that, hence the blanket refusal. So take that into consideration before reading, I guess. <<less

The main character (Ilya) 's sadness and helplessness to do anything about her cheating fiance is simply heartbreaking.. The story is a good read, the plot is pretty interesting but depressing so far because its about Ilya watching over her sister and her fiance, who she loves so much. Prepare a pack of tissues as you read her heartbreak </3 I wish we could see her quickly put them behind her or make him regret it.. And find someone else who will treat her well and shower her with love... more>> because she deserves it. <<less

That was... too melodramatic. Yeah, I gotta admit that what she goes through is sad af, but seeing her wallow in misery through the entire read is just frustrating.

So she has a fiance that she loves oh-so-much, so so so much, more much, 638438 reincarnations can't erase this love much, and a b*tchy sis. They keep committing adultery in each and every life, make our MC seem like the villain and jealous wench, and get a life full of misery.

Yes, that being the case, I find MC so f*cking annoying.... more>> Girl, I can be sad for you and cry 1 time, 2 times, hell even 3 would do. That is, if she's willing to make changes. All I see is her crying and b*tching at how miserable she is, %0.59 character development, more misery, and more and more... I'm tired.

Like, imagine one son of a bit*h that keeps betraying ya 639293 lifetimes straight. Would you keep wishing for his love just because the one in the current life didn't do anything yet? I would've stabbed him to death the moment I saw him again lol, including that sis too, why the only thing MC does is "hiding her pain behind a smile"? Man up guuurl.

Another thing worth talking about is that b*tchy sis. Unlike what ya think, no, she's not a scheming bit*h but actually that clueless. "Someone gotta slap sense into her" kinda clueless.

I dunno, it's pretty much unrealistic to be that idiotic imo. Can't you deduce the fact that "my sis's future husband is off-limits" with your little finger? What are ya tryna do? MC doesn't hate her because she's all soft and sweet and don't know a thing... No, I'll rip sis's guts out.

Spoiler

BLOODY HELL MATE HOW CAN YOU INSIST ON SIS BEING AN ANGEL?? DO YOU WANT ME TO REMIND YOU THAT IN ONE LIFETIME SHE GOT PREGNANT WITH THAT f*ckERS' EVIL SPAWN??

[collapse]

I've said this and that, now let's talk about that one chap from shitty fiance's point of view.

Spoiler

Nope, he's not being controlled by sum shady worldly force, he's a qualified son of a b*tch. That chap was the past that manifested as a dream in the current life, fiance being the spectator. It's just the... fiance is better than the one he dreamed about. (Doesn't change the fact that he still goes for the sis-) As you know, MC's lifetimes are never the same and always have small changes; some have Crow some don't, MC became a friend with a blondie but not in other ones, etc. Fiance finding the past one's decisions ridiculous is not because he was being controlled at the time, but because he's slightly better in this one. Is it clear? I think so too, let's move on.

[collapse]

Now that I tr*shed MC, sis, and her fiance, it's time to bit*h about MC's parents.

Heh.

Worse than tr*sh. I would die with no regrets if a carriage overturned and killed them slowly or sth lol.

The only remaining dude to talk about is Crow.

Ehm, CROW MA MAAN JUST YA WAIT I'LL READ YOUR POV TOO~! I swear, the only character I like is Crow, he's so cyuuute. Much better than MC, no comparison to other tr*sh.

The translation is good, but as I said, the story is too melodramatic and left a bad taste in my mouth after the main story finished.

Good to read if ya just wanna cry like there's no tomorrow, otherwise, slightly better than twilight. <<less

Holy sh*t this is one of the most rage inducing, heart wrenching story.

The first few times, fine can't be helped. But after dying so many times with regrets every single time, you'd think the MC would learn something but nope she just continues to suffer in silence. At this point, it's not the other characters causing her to suffer, she's making herself suffer. It makes you wonder if the she's just a masochist.

If her current (?) life with the school thing isn't going to work, I don't have anymore hopes... more>> for her. I mean it's not like this story is like other novels where their MC would learn from their past life and try to take revenge or whatever. Maybe that crow dude can do something. <<less

This novel is genuinely amazing, and also genuinely heartbreaking. It's also one of the few novels I respect when I comes to time travel. The author lays out the rules for time travel, and she never deviates from them even to the very end. No deux ex machina, no random BS, no plot holes. Just straightforward progression.

Spoiler

Spoiler for the ending : the MC finally hitches up with the new ML Crow, but I love the way the author framed their romance within the laws she established at the beginning. Their love is not a happy end - it's a tragic one, and the MC and Crow unite under the despair that they've achieved nothing and never can. It's heartbreaking, but I genuinely respect that the author stayed true to themselves, even though it clearly began to affect their mental health towards the end.

Okay look. I understand why people would dislike this book, as it seems to not really have any other motive other than the torture the main character over and over again. SERIOUSLY. Read this book if you need to SOLIDLY cry. It is SO SAD. I happen to like books that make me cry and torture myself: hence, 5/5.

Spoiler

As of me reading up to ch 55, she has a barely satisfactory ending. If this is really the ending (where I’m at now) then the author has really wronged her. I do not think the mild flavour in chapter 55 is enough to erase all the troubles the main character went through.

[collapse]

I legitimately think that this book is one of the saddest ones I’ve ever read. Almost every chapter is just heartbreaking for the main character— the author conveys the internal emotions and pain very well. Because it’s one thing for the main character to suffer, it’s another for her to suffer in silence.

This book also has minimal romance concerning the main character herself, it seems. There is no prince charming that lifts her off her feet etc etc, she stresses very clearly that is her younger sister.

This book is also a bit complicated in terms of time line due to the constant repeating of her death etc, but if you have half a brain I do not think it will be that troubling to follow.

Heavily up to preference if you like reading self emotional torture !!! <<less

Review as of chapter 14: 3 stars

NOTE: This is probably going to be a long review so brace yourself. Pack some food and a sleeping bag.

NOTE: there will be minor spoilers.

... more>> After reading the first 14 chapters in my first sitting, I decided to take a breather and write down my thoughts so far. Especially since, according to the translator, the REAL story begins after this.

When I started reading this story, I wasn't sure what to expect. I chose it because of how unusual the synopsis sounded - and so far the story has presented itself exactly how the synopsis set it up to be.

The tragic heroine of our story is Ilya - the eldest daughter of an earl. Born with fairly average looks and intelligence, her fiance, Soleil, is the highlight of her life - her shining star, her guiding light; he is the pivot on which her life revolves. She is madly in love with him, to the point of obsession and is determined to be the best wife possible. Everything she does, thinks, acts, is all for him. She lives and breathes for him - devotes her entire being to making sure everything is perfect for him. She knows he doesn't love her but assures herself his feelings will grow over time. In the meantime, she watches and waits for any sign of affection - a kind word, a sincere smile, a gentle touch. In return for her avid devotion, she receives indifference, cold eyes, and false smiles. He makes no effort to get to know her - does nothing that will invite her any further past the point of household obligation.

But she refuses to give up.

'He will come around' 'We still have time' 'Things will get better after we get married' she convinces herself. And perhaps they would have - if he hadn't met her sister. If she didn't see the way they lit up around each other. If she didn't notice the gentle look in his eyes around her sister. If she didn't observe the quiet exchanges of shy blushes, soft smiles, tender brushes of hands... perhaps things would have been different. But perhaps not.

She eventually winds up arrested on false charges and sentenced to be executed. She dies lost, alone, and confused - only to open her eyes and find herself returned to the time of the exact moment her fiance and sister met. Believing the heavens have granted her a second chance at love and happiness, she strives to remedy the mistakes of her first life and succeeds - only to meet a different, albeit equally tragic end. Wondering where she went wrong, she resigns herself to her fate and breathes her last... only to wake up at - yes, you guessed it - the exact moment her fiance and sister meet.

And. She. Completely. Loses. It.

She cries and screams and begs and rages - and nothing happens. Nothing changes. And you can see this is it. This is the moment her sanity fractures.

Despite the darkness of the story, I greatly enjoyed Ilya's character and how realistic her reactions are - how realistic Ilya herself is. She FEELS like a living, breathing person. She isn't static or 2-dimensional. By the end of chapter 14 she is a very different person with a very different outlook.

The first 14 chapters mainly focus on her coming to terms with her situation. She doesn't give up right away. She tries something different each lifetime, waiting and watching the altered events play out. Hoping, if not for a happy ending, then at least a peaceful one - but each time she is disappointed.

By the end of the introductory arc she is in a dark, depressed space. She initially assumes that she's stuck in some kind of time loop but realises this isn't the case. She notices that although the tragic ending stays the same, certain details vary with each incarnation. Although she has no way to confirm it, she speculates that she's somehow jumping between parallel worlds. Of course, that still leaves us with a host of other questions - Why is this happening? Why is she the only one who retains her memories? Is it really a time loop? Is her current situation a form of punishment/torture for past transgressions? Is there a deeper purpose behind everything that has happened?

There is also the matter of where the enigmatic Crow fits into all of this...

Overall, the story is dark, tragic and mysterious. The translator mentioned that the story only really gets interesting after this point so I'm very curious about where the author will take the story next...

Will update my review as the story progresses.

(Side note: although the cover of the novel shows her hair as black, it's actually an ash grey colour - her sister's is silver.) <<less

My dear fellow masochists,
Today I have dragged, no, recommended a person to come read this bitter bitter novel. Now we have another fellow in this hopelessly bottomless pit *smiles evilly*

Anyways, this novel's really depressing but definitely worth reading.

So read!!!

... more>> Come here and suffer through the agonising pain of reading 'My Fiance is in Love with My Little Sister'!!!

I think the ending's real worthy of all the pain and sadness.

PS: It's not completed at the moment and I don't know if it even will be a happy ending, but the light I'm seeing after reading chapter 56 is too beautiful I'm on the verge of crying from happiness. <<less

To anyone reading the reviews, know that there was no for of real catharsis in this story until chapter 54 (so basically late 2019). Before that, there was only sadness. Anyway...

I hate overbearing, almost unending angst, so it's a testament to the author's skill that I even put myself through the true act of masochism that is reading this relentlessly tragic series.

You may ask, why bother? I was led here by comments on the manga talking about how tragic the novel was and thought "well it can't be that... more>> bad." Yes it can, but I was determined to understand just how bad... for science.

So why did I keep reading? It was actually the mystery behind it all and getting to the bottom of it. While the above translation had its flaws, they did a good job conveying both the narrative and the ongoing thoughts of the POV character. It flows nicely and is easy to follow. The story itself is well-written and smarter than I thought it would be considering the simplicity of the concept. The author was incredibly thorough in how they built up the narrative and careful about each detail they added. With each re-do, you could see the character growth in the protagonist and you picked up pieces of information you didn't know previously that would be important later on. Even surprisingly meaningless occurrences became relevant in another life.

Wasn't that tedious to read? Yes, yes it was, especially since each subsequent life was tragic, but in different ways so you could hurt more. I also grew to loathe the characters and wonder why I was still reading in the first place because it seemed like things were going nowhere. In the end, I was just desperate for some kind of sign things would change because I'm not a quitter and also I needed some peace of mind. Again, I am sincerely glad it was not poorly written or a chore to read.

So the characters are bad? Strictly speaking, the characters are awful and endlessly frustrating to the point where you may or may not feel mu*derous intent at various points throughout. Having to endure their s*upidity on repeat is an effort in patience and true masochism. Not all were bad but damn... and you had to go through it all more than once.

Er, and the plot? The plot is slow as molasses but picks up later on and things vastly improve as you come to understand why things are happening the way they do.

See below for comments with spoilers:

Spoiler

Pretty much all of the characters you think are awful from the start are still awful by the end.

Ilya herself changes so slowly it's painful, and holds on to emotions, relationships, status, predetermined roles like a security blanket. Because she focuses only on what she should be and should do it keeps her from doing what she wants to do over and over again. Many times you know she isn't technically doing anything wrong because she's following the strict rules she's been forced to follow (that her sister has not) but you're still frustrated with her inability to act despite those constraints. To be fair, when she does attempt to eschew them it doesn't end well either. Honestly, her life is just so awful at some point I went from pity to frustration right back to pity because this girl just needed a) a break and b) love and care for once. I did appreciate that, when she did start to rock the boat, she was doing so while fighting her nature not to and you could tell it had taken that many re-dos for her to build up the ability to act out in the first place.-1

Thank the heavens above Soleil isn't the ML or I probably would have lost my mind. The only time he even looks at her, even feels like an actual human, is the "final" life where she starts acting erratically and doles out the truth. His being unable to act nice to her due to some mysterious force turning his attention to Silvia is not really an excuse for his behaviour. I don't even know what the chapter that told his pov even hoped to achieve aside from show us that she has zero hope of getting him on her side ever. We still don't know why but I hope we get an answer at some point, though I'm not sure it matters. I, for one, am extremely glad he was the endgame for Ilya and that the story went far away from that direction.
Silvia did nothing and everything wrong, her worst crime likely being her very existence. A spoiled, sickly child and the sole recipient of any parental love in that house, she was brought up accustomed to love and affection but was ignorant of so much that went on around her. I appreciate that she was probably the only one who maybe cared about Ilya in her house, ignorant though she was of her sister's struggles. In some respects, such as being fed poison to keep her indoors and hidden away due to her secret origins, she was a victim in some respects, and in others, she simply didn't know better, but that wasn't the case every time. She was still selfish and inconsiderate.

I have nothing to say about her parents, they can rot for all I care. Made me think of a book I read in high school called "Jacob Have I Loved" but even those parents were better than these. There might be another twist down the line but who knows. Maybe Ilya is the real princess marrying the Marquis and her parents are resentful their real daughter is at risk? (I'm kidding unless the author plans to write a whole new volume at the rate they work).

The servants? Scum. Except Al I suppose, he's the only person who got Crow and my approval. Why did you have to have a fiancée?

Now for Crow (his real name is too long). I was kind of surprised by the role he ultimately plays, even if it makes sense now. He says a lot of questionable things near the start but when the author decided it was time for us to experience his suffering, we see how he paid for that and what he meant by each word every time he spoke to Ilya and/or helped her. His entire past was yet another effort in masochism to read—obviously everything in this series must be needlessly tragic. Between his traumatic childhood, the loss of his future with the love of his life, and dealing with immortality as a hunk of magic (in a doll), he's living in a hell of his own until he finds her... several times. Of course, an immortal magician with nothing to lose has the time and power to satisfy his curiosity in this strange young girl. Interest grows into genuine care and concern the more he sees and soon enough he's crossing space time for Ilya in an effort to save her from a terrible fate at least once. It's, uh, very dramatic and kind of heartbreaking but you're also sitting there cheering him on. Finally someone with the power to do something gave a serious damn about this poor girl who was just doing her best.

And then Ilya gets to watch that whole experience herself and we get to have that whole ride again but with more feelings and they're mutual. It's truly beautiful, I was honestly closer to crying here. Very dramatic.

Of course. The previous two sections were only as impactful as they were because we had to experience all of the suffering that came before it and glimpse all of those moments where they interacted before being shown the whole picture. Again, reading this is a labour of... really really hoping things will get better.

It was both those two sections and the confrontation in the woods, which tied up so many loose threads and had actual communication between characters, that made this worth reading. I read this in one sitting determined to get somewhere and am glad I did.

[collapse]

And so? I gave the story 4 stars though I'd probably leave it at a 7/10. Were it not for the final third of the story, I would not think as highly of it. I'm simply a sucker for the kind of love story this wound up being and was pretty satisfied with where it ultimately went. I had feared the worst, so I'm not sure how much that factors in.

The story isn't over yet and I have no idea when/if we're ever going to get the final bits, though it seems like what's to come is more of an epilogue. I just thought I'd give my two cents amidst all of the seriously polarizing reviews.

When I started reading this I was hoping for a good revenge story. I wanted an MC that would do whatever she could in order to change her life but unfortunately that wasn't the case at all. She just sits there, depressed. Her '' fiancé'' does not care about her at all, he only looks at her little sister and nobody tells him anything. She died 3 times because of them and yet Despite all that she still loves him... Why?Even if she didn't want to get a revenge she... more>> should at try to get away from him!

Anyway this is not for me, it's too frustrating ? I can't stand people who whine and whine without doing anything, it's boring. <<less

It’s not really a romance novel.. more like a pessimistic tragedy filled- thriller mystery written by a sadistic author for masochistic readers who voluntarily read this and got their heart broken again and again.. like a never ending SM play between the two.

New readers be warned.. better not to read this if you have weak heart or suffering from high blood pressure as I was sure at many occasions I would love to lunge towards anyone and pick a fight out of frustrations from reading about all the characters and... more>> how frustratingly they behave.. I especially would love to german suplex the fiancée and break each and every of his limbs.

Despite all of that, the greatest things about this novel is how addictive it is.. due to the foreshadowing that could stretch chapters and arcs and the mysterious nature of the whole plot. Things are often multi faceted and our narrator are often unreliable. The mysteries does not get unravelled in a chunk but often teasing you with mini bite size.. just a taste and the it un-satisfyingly flees from your grasp... truly written for those with masochistic tendencies. <<less

This novel is really good if you are looking for a sad and tragic MC. The chapters left me really sad and depressed for Ilya. As I read on the chapters just make me feel more and more heartbroken for her. She genuinely love her fiance and for her fiance to fall in love with her sister is really too tragic for me. It makes it even more so as it was Ilya who is responsible for the two to meet and fall in love in each one of her... more>> multiple lives.
Spoiler

When she died the first time she was innocent but unjustly accused without anyone to help her but even then Ilya still fall for her fiance in the next life. Of course as the novel is written in Ilya's perspective we don't know about the other characters' circumstance or view of the situations.

All in all the novel is good for people looking for a depressing mood. Not recommended for those looking for a fluffy, light and cute story. <<less

I'm skipping a lot of common details since most people have already commented them but while this book makes you get swept up in the mood and get sad for the main character it never feels like there is progression. After being betrayed countless times by her fiance she still loves him, I don't believe its possible to keep loving someone like this. With her younger sister it kind of makes sense due to the fact the younger sister has no harm intended which generally will make people confliced. They... more>> are harming you but at the same time since they aren't trying to harm you so it makes a grey area, but with the fiance he has done countless things like trying to kill her, making her rot in prison, telling her when she is next to death after being abused as a prostitute that he hated her, and countless other smaller things (I think I missed a few) I don't believe you could continue loving that person. This book would be good if it started with her moving on but instead its chapter after chapter of her wallowing in her misory. I honestly think this book is impossible because she would be mentally insane at this point, humans are humans due to mortality... If we lived our lives on a loop for enternity that would be the worse possible torture and the only freedom you can obtain is crushing the loop or eventually going insane to the point you can't suffer anymore. <<less

I am torn between loving and hating this novel.

The author has played with me far too many times to count.

I suggest you give it a try. I guess be patient since you could say that the first early chapters are pretty much whining and it can get boring for some.

... more>> But you really get to know more about her on those chapters. Being patient and chill is also needed to those who are quite used to strong villainess isekai tropes. All I know is that the novel will speak for itself.

Despite all the pain, I still and will decide to stay. I guess it's safe to say that I am a masochist for this novel. :"P <<less

To give a bad review for making one cry is a horrible thing. A good novel is one that evokes emotions, whether that be good or sad ones. Yes, this novel is sad, truly sad. The writing is phenomenal, I felt distressed, angry and sad for Ilya. I abhorred but sympathized with her sister and I despised her husband. The ending (no spoilers) was perfect for me. It was in line with the general theme. I felt extremely happy for Ilya and Crow.

In the end, this is one of the... more>> few experiences where I have completely connected with a character. My advice if you read is to take out a big block of free time and try to read all at once. Because if you were to stop halfway, then you would only be left with distaste and sadness, and would be reluctant to pick the novel back up. <<less

The premise of this story is disgusting. No common sense, no general understanding. So it goes as it went thus we don't know the end. Not recommended.

1. FMC's sister is not a 'sister' anymore if she acted like that. Cmon, her actions were totally disgusting and eerie. In a moral sense and a general common sense, this premise is nonsense. Unless, you know, an evil cousin/ evil step-sister as we know it well

2. The fact that FMC was suffered because of love is reasonable. Loving his fiance is understandable as... more>> her familial's love was poor. People as FMC's familial background tend to fill their cravings of love by getting approvel of others.

But, as all the stated facts of all of shameful things her fiance did still made FMC madly in love with ML IS pitiful.

Loving her fiance is understandable as I said before, but it is questionable how to put that in a real life. If FMC truly loved him as she desperately said (and should be in line with her character), she would let go in the go from the knowing/ beginning as she knew that his happiness is hers.

BUT she didn't let go AND it is not in line with her character (whose are inferior, self-blame, and self critics).

3. Loving ML is understandable. But, still knowing her fiance wrongdoings with her sister and acted like she did, the FMC here is like a famous quote I ever heard "knowing yourself and knowing your enemy so that you will grab victory"

i) she didn't know herself
ii) she didn't know her enviroment and her people/ enemy.
iii) she got nothing.

At least, the FMC should read more I presume. Broading her mind and soul and kindness as you will also learn to forgive and forgo. Read. More.

*The story is engaging and addicting, but the premise is still disgusting.

You know like liking a bad boy and you know the end but you still curious where it ends and still persist till the end. In the end, we got nothing nowhere. So it's better to study better than indulging in the unnecessary. <<less

Ok lemme summarize the reviews:

If you're a masochist you'll dig this, if you're not then you won't.

(If you don't like this, but like emotional abuse try: "I Swear I Won't Bother You Again! " or "Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess." They are also abusive books to your emotions but in my opinion they actually have more than just abuse. The second book I mentioned just finished season 1 of the manga and season 2 is gonna come out in a few months so if... more>> you're a manga person then you gotta wait and stock up :D. If you know these already- ily man I really do <3) <<less

This one made me cry like a baby (ಥ_ಥ.)..... gosh my eyes are still red and sore.... my face is a complete mess....I've just finished this novel and seriously author-sama is really cruel..... since the beginning of the novel I felt really sad for the FL... she's suffering throughout the novel..... In the middle chapters I felt like I can't read it anymore cause the FL was suffering so much that I couldn't take anyone hurting her anymore....I wanted to go inside the novel and just give the FL a... more>> big hug and tell her she will be loved and she's worthy of it.... The last chapter I've read made me sure that the author is a top-tier sadist!!....I thought that now everything will start getting better from this point but that was just my wistful thinking...I seriously want her to be happy now... author- sama please give FL her happiness soon cause it's too painful to see her this way (〒▽〒) <<less

Holy moly
I’ve never cried so much in my life. This is truly a tragedy... I don’t usually like stories where the MC is constantly eyeballs deep in misfortune, but I’m really rooting for this MC. I just want her to move to the countryside, raise chickens and be happy. There isn’t a single character in this story that isn’t unfortunate in some way. I can’t even say I truly hate any of the characters (except her parents. Screw them).

The story starts slow and depressing (and stays depressing), but the... more>> MC develops over the course. It was nice seeing her grow and I’m waiting for the moment she decided to grasp her own happiness... I’m frustrated with the slow growth, but at the same time, I understand that she’s gone through a lot and her actions and mindset aren’t unreasonable or unrealistic.

The author meticulously designed every aspect of this story, so it’s definitely one of those that would be good to read twice. It also has multiple POVs. Some chapters cover the same scene in someone else’s POV so you get to relive the trauma through a different set of eyes.

Now I’m going to go drink a gallon of water to replace all the tears I shed. <<less
