This is a honest review. I read till chapter 211 (latest chapter right now). This novel is a 'FUN' read. Lack of touch of reality, a fantasy genre and simple plot story. FL is s*upid and innocence like a kid. ML love her with unclear reasons. If you like a fluffy romance and simple plot without complicated matter then this is for you.

I like it... Except that FL was too naive and dumb...

On the other hand, maybe she wouldn't have ended up with him, a demon, if she wasn't dumb.

Although male lead character is very despicable but I love how the author maintain his stubborn and domineering character till the end. It should be considering his genes and his position. He had to be ruthless to be a king.

i love the way Gun gun balance Che character. I thing she conquer Che this way.

The setting of story make me think of werewolves and vampires so its interesting in that aspect, but the FL reminds me more of a woman with a child's personality... she seems completely too naive for me...i find myself more interested in the supporting FL with her 2 adoptive brothers instead...

My POOR battered heart

I suffered and struggled through the chapters because I really wanted to see a happy ending despite their extremely TURBULENT relationship.

They just keep keep keep FIGHTING. Neither of them would give in and kept hurting each other and kept misunderstanding each other. They were both big fat fools that were too selfish to know what love really meant. And finally it took

I'm torn about rating this novel because of how much I cried and hurt over it. But at the same time I was so drawn I finished it in 2 days.

Just know that if you pick this up brace yourselves for a violent and abusive relationship where the male lead harms her physically and mentally and the MC is too s*upid to know what to do about her feelings.

STILL remember it ends fairly nicely. Makes me want to say it was a RUTHLESS S&M and STOCKHOLM SYNDROME play.

Although I didn't like the side stories much...

It's an interesting story. While it's true that hao yan che treated her kind of badly, our gun gun was dumb (or kind?) enough to forgive him. Well, it got fresh personalities you don't often find, so it's interesting to read and to discover. But I will say that if it were in real life, the hero is an absolute bastard and the heroine is a total masochiste. In conclusion, it's a fit for those who like (overly?) possessive lover and a cute dumb FL. Enjoy ♥

VERY STRONG HURT/COMFORT themes no bd*m (I personal don’t read the latter)

If you do not like to read novels that explore themes of obsessive love and manipulation and yes, even abuse in relationships then this is not for you. I STRONGLY believe that reading about it and liking it does not mean you condone it. That’s like saying you read a true crime novel and support mu*der. The author also gives warnings. I advocate women having the right to read what they want,... more>> without being shamed, and think it’s a way of taking back control. Don’t like it then don’t read it.

That said, overall I liked it because it is a light bodice ripper. I say light because the comedy. It is funny because the female lead is extremely dense to the point that In chapter one the parents even acknowledge she may have a low IQ. The male lead is demon and it seems normal this behavior based on him being a demon. She lacks intelligence and he is emotionally immature. Around her he turns into a child with a favorite toy and can’t understand why he likes her so he bullies her later he learns it’s because they are soulmates. To be honest, I don’t know how much she understands because she is extraordinarily dumb but that’s the comedy. She is pretty dense, but good hearted.

there are no big love triangles and the major one is super one sided. Also, much of the conflict results from male leads bad behavior and female leads s*upidity. Yes, I found it funny. There is one r*pe scene. And the author gives warnings to skip the chapter if it bothers you.

Overall, in the vast array of novels of its type this is fairly light because of the comedy. I thought it was funny and consistent. I would not say I was reading this for depth I was reading it because it is light, and it is an erot*c piece of nonsense. Most novels with this material are super dark.

Do not expect character growth especially from her. This is more a matter of him changing a teensy bit but overall it is basically you are my soulmate, I own you, I love you, deal with it, I don’t care if you disagree and she is easy to please because she is so darn simple. I liked the plot at first. In some strange way, I liked the first half but the second half was suffocating.

try this novel if you are new and open to anything. Anyway a happy ending and lots of spaning. That's all this novel about. not love, no vampires...
