Tohno Hifumi was summoned to another world to be a Hero for a kingdom. Unknown to the summoners, he’s a person who had restrained his killer instincts with martial arts. Upon arrival, he slaughtered various knights and the mastermind of the event, the King, for kidnapping him to this world. Afraid of letting more people get killed by Hifumi, the Princess–who is the only one to managed to keep her sanity act rationally–let him go free. Thus started Hifumi’s fun life of traveling the world, and unrestrainedly killing any who attempt to get in his way.

Honestly. Hahaha.

I decided to ignore the 1 star reviews and continue in my trip of following this novel up to its end but... I couldn't bring myself to do it. Although I love yanderes, although I quite like evil MC's or antihero protagonists. Even though I ignored them and decided to follow the seemingly logical five star reviews, I still tolerated some parts of it hence the two stars and not one.

Overall it is a bad novel.

The MC has a somewhat logical reason for being OP/semi-OP so I continued reading.... more>> Then, the MC began killing needlessly because... (? Showing off? Probably? Is it to increase his 'cruel' personality and develop the MC into a more complete protagonist? Not likely. If it is so, it has failed miserably.

Heroines and female lead are bland and one dimensional and side characters feel just... off. They are as generic as they can be, not making me feel close to even the female heroines as they feel just like any other character.

I read this not with the hope of reading some Lord of the Mysteries (which I finished) but a novel that'll help to pass time so I didn't expect much.

Indeed, I never expected anything out of this novel yet it managed to disappoint me. Definitely not recommended. <<less

The protagonist is clearly portrayed. His character setting is somewhat OP but in a sense of a nonfiction aspect. The story is very good so far, moreover, having the protagonist be an anti-hero from the start instigates his own freedom of his "kidnappers"' country, stirring it into a turmoil of a reformation.

I'm still in the early 20s of the [translated] novel but so far I can't help to find similarities between this and Nidome no Yuusha (both are enticing his heroines to take revenge on their assailants).

My review for this... more>> one might change as I continue to read it along :D <<less

Simply put the main character is a psychopath. So I would not recommend this novel for those who don't like mass mu*dering psychopath MCs, BUT if you are bored of reading all those novels with self-righteous MCs wanting to save everyone, this novel is a good pick for you.

While the main idea of the story is really good and acceptable actions, IMO it lacks impact in conveying the intrigues. The world the MC is aspiring to make is not dark enough for my taste.

You have your traditional medieval world with a dark side, except that in this world large-scale warfare and violence is under-developed. The MC is a reasonable psychopath (yep) that wants nothing more than to face strong enemies and kill them, his greatest dream being facing down an enemy strong enough to kill him in return. He doesn't mind if what gets him is deception either, as he willingly lets people with grudges against him live in order to "grow" them up to be legitimate threats. He is extremely OP in... more>> terms of hand to hand and weapons combat, perception, and intelligence, due to personal training, and exhibits little to no explicitly magical abilities other than a "inventory" function. Harem? There kinda is but its a bit complicated. The MC is the important bit, remember his sole desire is conflict and a worthy foe, so women are not really his concern other than furthering that goal. Its a pretty fun novel because of how different your MC is compared to other isekai novels, here he just wants to kill worthy enemies. <<less

Well what can I say, its very dark, obviously. At first I was like, "Yeah mow down them guards!!!" And was very excited as it took a turn from what you always see, the MC is a bad-ass and kills everyone. So in the beginning, yeah it was nice and entertaining and exiting. But as the story progressed the excitement wore off and it got pretty boring. Worse yet, the MC's presence gets fainter and fainter, to the point where you wonder if the side characters are the real MCs.... more>> Well anyway, I'm not telling you to not read it, its worth reading if only for the first parts and making your own conjectures. <<less

Yobidasareta Satsuriku-sha was built upon interesting premises and bad-ass MC. Looking for non-spineless Japanese MC? Here's one, his spine was made of 100% steel, he would kill even people who have given up, simply because in the beginning they stood on different sides. More than that, he even actively sought battlegrounds, and upon learning that there's no one nearly as strong as him, wanted to build a chaotic world where people will get stronger so he can find worthy adversaries.

However, as is common among Japanese novels here, Yobidasareta Satsuriku-sha suffers... more>> from shaky narrative. The plot was good, but the way the plot being presented left much to be desired. Still, this one is very interesting. There are bloody massacres (yes, with s, as there are too many to count), domestic affairs (a.k.a territory building), and semi-yandere wannabe lover. If they're to your taste, feel free to read Yobidasareta Satsuriku-sha. <<less

As a great lover of all things psychopathic in nature, I fell in love with the MC within the first chapter. 8 chapters later, I was questioning our relationship. Come ch 20, I was fed up.

Quite simply, the MC is pretty awesome at first but rapidly becomes less awesome due to the fact that he becomes less and less brutal while never really getting anything done. The two female side characters are mindless yes-men (yes-women?), and EVERYONE is idiotic except for the MC. Frankly, what was promised to drive the... more>> novel was a ruthless, psychopathic MC that held all lives in contempt and made rivers run red. What we end up with after the first few chapters is an MC that is lots more tame than the MCs from ATG, MGA, TMW, MW, etc. Sure he kills here and there, but he still has to have some kind of reason/justification to do so. While that could have been interesting to view through his warped psyche; it instead put a limiter on the MC making him just another guy that kills when he is offended by something/someone. Thus quickly losing its originality and becoming stale. <<less

This MC was refreshing to read. Was getting sick of reading so many novels with wimpy MC's. Great start but the series did start getting a little dull towards chapter 50.

MC is a summoned battle maniac who kills the king who summoned him due to the attitude of the king. The story is dark themed and there is a lot of killing... Every major character have good character development. So read this if you are tired of the cliched summoning stories.

I wanna mention first why MC is a Killing Machine who's only Desire to Kill.
Don't Forget MC Killed the God of Death in the other world (Not his world but the other world) that made him capable of using Dark Magic.

(The one he killed before he got transported, The God of Death was his escort but the God anger MC so MC decide to kill it lol. Well The God was in weaken state when transporting between world didn't think that MC well be so bored to kill... more>> a god)
But with him slowly turning in a Death God plus added to his killing style that has no use in his original world, then you can't blame MC for easily killing others.

I just find it hard to see why other people (in another world) only see him as evil. The author are focusing to much in an evil MC theme while having a good guy nature. Did The MC kill any innocent person? No!. All the people that died was either bad guys or tried to kill MC.

The Impact of betrayal are rather poor. The author can't seem to decide if characters should betray MC or not.
That Being said the action is quiet good. MC have yet to face an opponent that can fight him in a stand still. (His the God of Death in that world!)

I can have a so-so feeling when reading, His an OP MC yes but because he clearly aware with his weakness and try to improve it. I also appreciate how he trains others forcing them to face reality since its a strong eat the weak world.

Pretty much no romance so far well that's a typical Japanese novel. When its tag Harem u can expect that 99% there is no harem on it lol.

1% of Harem Tag Novel do show harem plot but sadly reality is harsh 99% of Harem Tag is just to trap us lol <<less

Hifumi the MC, is basically a otherworlder Killing machine. Unlike the Mc's from different novel with the same "Transported to another world genre" hifumi is no pu*sy and basically a man with mu*derer mindset and has background as a martial artist.

He basically find the idea of being transported to another world. A practice ground and also a world where he could satisfy his killing desires..

This novel is well-written and has different feel with the other "transported to another world"novels, if your up for gore and excessive bloodshed, then this novel... more>> is for you! <<less

This is one of those summon/transport/reincarnated to another world novels.

But this one is not as friendly as those majority novels because this one is (a bit) dark.

It's a nice feeling to see Hifumi act different compared to those normal summon/transport/reincarnated to another world MC out there.

The only bad thing about this novel is that it take a long time for a chapter to be release (translate).
Give it a try if you are a bit tired from normal summon/transport/reincarnated to another world MC that fight for human against demon, etc.

A really refreshing and original story (for the current TLed transported to another world novels). The MC is a martial artist that thirsy for real battles. Send him to another world and give him a near indestructable katana + tell him killing is allowed in that world. What do you get? Touno Hifumi! A man who doesnt kill mindlessly, but got questionable morals. He doesnt kill people on a whim, but would gladly provoke people who judges him based on his appearance.

A MC which actually does what needs to be... more>> done, and got a clear head. Nice to those he deems as friends and allies, while ruthless against enemies. He goes to the very roots. <<less

OP martial artist gets forcefully sent to another world. Proceeds to do what he wants. Good read. The MC gets rid of whatever obstacle is in his way, otherwise, he just doesn't care. In general, good setup and worth reading.

Author took a very generic concept that'd be pretty difficult to make good, and proceeded to do what you'd expect really. To put it simply it's a one note story that a rare few will adore.

Still, it might become good later on, but reading it gave me headaches due to a very very poor translation, so I've decided to drop it.

I actually dropped this after a couple chapters the first time I tried reading it, thinking it was just terribly written edgy tr*sh. I saw something about it and decided to give it another go and ended up binging it.

While it definitely isn't the best-written thing I've read, the writing quality improves a lot throughout the novel. It's edgy, but it's enjoyable to read and has a very satisfying conclusion. The story and simple and doesn't overstay its welcome, which is a skill a lot of authors seem to lack... more>> (i.e. Xianxia).

The story is basically just as the name implies: a guy gets summoned, and he's OP so he goes around slaughtering people (he has reasons for everyone though, it's not like he's killing innocent villagers). However, everyone is weak so he (mild spoiler)
Spoiler

decides to start wars and teach people how to fight more effectively in order to one day create people capable of killing him.

There's a yandere too, so definitely give it a shot. <<less

Quick rundown of whats the jist.

MC does some martial arts, gets summoned to another world after being told by modern day gods, what's going on. MC lets out his inner desire to kill and test out martial arts. World lacks the excitement MC is looking for, hence, MC goes about making the world become for exciting for himself. He is summoned as a hero but is essentially the demon.

Its unique. The only problem is that the MC is the strongest existence in the isekia'd world, hence it's just MC chopping... more>> people up with different weapons. Can get tiring to read. This novel feels as if its a setup to the sequel. Lots of elements are being, or begining to be, nurtured in this novel. <<less

I really like it. The MC doesn't give a f*ck about Royal/Noble pride. I always hope there's is novel about MC who got summoned to another world and get mad and start killing people who summon him. UNBELIEVABLE, it's EXIST.

But the problem is, he really likes killing, I mean he doesn't have an interest in having a serious relationship. He's more interest in blood. I just hope he makes his own empire.

The MC is Evil and Superstrong

His only purpose is to kill

There is no character development, growth, deep storyline, plot but somehow along killing innocents he also ends up cleaning a lot of thrash

... more>> Honestly, there is nothing worth looking forward to.

When I saw an evil protagonist tag, I was thinking like - evil for a purpose, like massacring the village for their life energy/something along those lines, not where the MC kills for the sole purpose of killing and his moral is flawed like the princess who summoned him is still alive for no particular reason <<less

First off all the story is really lived with the title, I mean not just the title said slaugther but the MC was really a killer or like to slaughter ppl or demi human or whatever living thing that MC found. But im giving it 4* bcus more newer chapter come out, also more irrelevant story come out. I mean its story about killer and slaughtering not about story from other living thing that not even live more than 10 chapter. If the story still continued like this, im not... more>> recomended to read any longer.

BUT what I can say from reading all those review who was said that this story about psycopath and bcus of that its bad, those ppl I dont know if they read the title before reading the novel or just suddenly read the story without even knew the title? Seriously guys just look at the title, it already have slaughter on the title and if in the story there is no killer or psycopath ppl who like to slaugther other living thing then I think you guys need to search for other title novel (its like all of you guys with those review want to get story about something but also want story about reversal of that at the same time).

If the title even dont have any connection with the story, then I know its waste to read this novel & its not weird if ppl make a review about this (there is so many other novel that have title not even connected with the story itself). But its so s*upid if the title already have connection with story and all of those review said "its psycopath, what the hell story just killing, its just about MC like killing or slaughter other, etc...", man its those sort of story about this novel just look at the title. Seriously look at the title first before u read the novel. <<less
