Personally, I love this one. It's a refreshing break from the usual OP protagonists crushing everything, focusing instead on a cute, heartwarming, and personal story. Yuna's kind, but I don't agree with anyone who says she's bland, particularly with how rare characters like her are lately.

The translation for this novel was done wonderfully and I thoroughly enjoyed reading every chapter. With each chapter fairly long you can easily immerse yourself in reading it.

When reading the novel, I felt that the characters were really brought to life. Simple descriptions to let us picture them in our minds coupled with the interactions between the characters made for an enjoyable read.

The MC is caring and kind but she needs an injection of something more to give her more personality. Maybe I am just used to reading about feisty... more>> female leads... haha It will be interesting to read about what the future holds for her when she learns more about Celiastina. <<less

What a beautiful, heartwarming, and well written story. I'm glad that I picked it up. It's started with a common transmigration/rebirth novel formula where a girl who accidentally died suddenly wake up in another body. Unfortunately in this case, that body is belong to a villainess saint who is worshipped and hated at the same time.

I assumed that the story will follow other common formula where the girl will take over the new body and live happily as "that" person for the rest of her life. Turns out that I'm... more>> completely wrong...

Spoiler

... because the soul of the saint is still in the body. It's just that her soul is very weak at that time because she attempted to lose her life. Coincidentally in the other place, MC (Yuna) died at the same time. MC's soul is transferred to the saint's body temporarily until her soul is recovered. Until then, MC must live as a saint (Celia). Unknown to her, the saint was not a good person and people around her hates her, include her fiancee, ML (Asyut).

Little by little, MC tries her best to alter the calamity caused by Celia in the past. She also tries to improve her relationship with people around her to give Celia a sense a security after she's back in the future. At the same time, MC also tries to learn about Celia's past and the reason behind her twisted personality.

But it doesn't mean that the story is perfect though. Sometimes, I'm a bit irritated by how naive, reckless, selfish, and emotional MC is. She always judge the situation based on her own emotion without thinking a bigger picture. She often wanders around all by herself and make people around her worry (she always apologize in the end but she keeps doing it again). And why I said that she's selfish? Because she often forces her own opinion to other people and won't budge no matter what.

But I guess those are all her charm (?). Considering that she was just a honest and simple village girl who maybe didn't how cruel the world is, those traits are understandable. But I wish she could be more mature in the future.

There are not much romance scene in this story but don't worry, it's a happy ending for our leads.

Spoiler

I'm happy that Yuna could spend the rest of her life with Asyut as herself, not as Celia. Celia's ending is a bit bitter but taking into account all the horrible things that she did in the past, her ending is considered not that bad. I feel pity for Aeneas though. He falls hard for our MC but loses to Asyut in the end. I hope someday he'll find his true love and live happily too.

This is one of the books I got so obsessed with. The hated saint turned to the ideal saint everyone would have wanted was a great concept. What I really liked though, is that some people didn't change their attitude towards her that fast just because she woke up one morning as a changed person unlike some other books I have read. The MC had to really work for it. However this is a shoujo genre and I find this into the fluffier side even with the heavier undertones it... more>> was going for. Also, there was really nothing much in the closure I was expecting at the end though the scene at the very very end really got me. <<less

Truly inspirational and emotionally investing

The MC is kind hearted and selfless and her character is one worthy to admire and cherish. The book highlights each and every character that even the side characters are beautifully developed. One of the books where there is no villainess because the MC herself tries to understand the so called villainess. It has no plot holes. Though there was not much romantic interactions and physical connection and yet unlike other stories you could literally feel the couple's true love irrespective of anything. Although many... more>> reincarnation stories involve revenge and the need to take over one's body this story is beautifully written as the MC herself faces the temptations to go through the latter.

Spoiler

Unlike usual romance stories, Yuna and Asyut didnt have much of a physical connection but their love was beyond any other. You could literally feel the love they had for each other irrespective of their situations and the appearance....

And as a Christian I could deeply relate with this story. The difference was Christ took our sins and died for us whereas here celiastina atoned for her own sins and Yuna played a part in helping Celiastina. The part where Ssyut really didnt care for outer appearances was what god actually does.

[collapse]

For those of who are contemplating to read this story because of the Mc's character I just want to say that sometimes kindness and goodwill can do greater damage to a person than taking revenge cause the former literally convicts the person. This reincarnation story is unlike no other and a must read if I must imply.

The author is so talented for writing an amazing book and the translator has beautifully translated this book that you wouldnt even feel that its the translated version. <<less

Frankly, I did not expect I'd like this story but once I started reading it I was hooked! It had mixed reviews so I wasn't thinking much when I started it. I have to say this is one of those stories that gets you if you like that particular plot. If it's just a slight interest then this might not be for you.

The plot was good. Although it's like every transmigration story I've read so far this is by far more meaningful than the others. It didn't follow with the... more>> 'revenge plot' or 'You screwed the owner so I will screw you back' type which, for me, was refreshing. I love how the MC walked on the path of another but did not lose herself, considering the events and the circumstances this point got me good. The male lead was like a shadow to me to be honest. There wasn't that much 'romance' involved and it worked for this couple. I like how the writer was able to make you feel the love between the two without exaggerating it. The climax was a bit bland but I could forgive that because of the king. He is the man and I salute him.

All in all I enjoyed this story a lot. It was well written and complete in a sense that every question you might have from the first chapters of the book will be answered by the end of the story. I'd probably read this again just to relive some moments.",) <<less
