Married to the Male Lead’s Brother

Ning Zhi transmigrated into a female supporting character who ran away from her wedding.

The original novel was a fluffy book on the love between the male and female leads.

The cannon fodder female supporting character, who had also married into a prestigious family, was caught while trying to escape her marriage which had led to her difficult days in the prestigious family.

In addition, her husband was autistic and, for the sake of pursing true love, she made a tragedy out of her own life.

Recalling the awful ending of the female supporting character in the novel, Ning Zhi expressed that she would never try to run away from her marriage. What was wrong with having globs of money? Or was her husband not cute enough?

Mix feeling between rating 4 or 5 bcause no in between 😂Great translation ❤️ I love the story in the beginning but later on it kinda drag on. Towards the end the dialogue bcome cringy too ~ dunno mybe author don't hve experience from man sweet talk ? Bcause the way ML talk at the end even after he's recovered feels so childish n lack vocabulary :") and yeah it lack dialogue. The romance feel bland really most of the time more like it's her taking advantage of ML :")... more>> but when ML inititiate smthing she suddenly bcome shy like a pure girl :")

About ML conditions, Autism is not a disease, it's a disorder that affect how a person think, feels, interact with others. It's a lifelong disability. Author did mention in the story that this is not curable, but still I feel like author didn't do enough research on this. Even if MC return back on time n help ML with some of his trauma it shouldn't cure him completely like a normal person but I'll just take it tht it's the system intervention.

The plot is just chaos towards the end. That's the thing when u wrote about time travel, everything she did suppose to change the future. But the system ofc fix the plothole for her. For example if tht OgMC didn't marry ogML then how she bring MC to Lu house n thus marry our ml? The system said she still meet ML after they met in banquet :") welp thts one way to fix plothole just let the system create a whole other life that u didn't experience.

Overall still a great read I just can't bring myself to finish the extra at the moment <<less

I feel this is a nice feel-good story. It is cute, simple and it has great chemistry with the main characters.

Juejue and Zhizhi are really cute and their relationship is one of the best I've read in chinese novels.

I didn't expect to read a good representation of autism as it is not a subject that is well understood in China in the first place. At least in this novel it portrayed other autistic characters that were not "cured" and was clear about the ML's case being unique.

The translation is very... more>> good and it got better after it began being edited halfway through, so it was really enjoyable.

Overall, 100% recommend. <<less

At first, I didn't really like MC because when she finished taking advantage of ML, she casted ML aside without any feeling and really treated him like a tool. It's actually understandable because she didn't love ML in the beginning so what she did was purely transactional. Fortunately, she still had some conscience and also used the "currency" to help ML getting better.

The story got better after MC started having feeling for ML although I found some plotholes and inconsistencies here and there throughout the story. I also love how... more>> she didn't only helped ML in her journey to the past but also helped people around ML.

However, the ending really made me angry.

Spoiler

Don't worry, it's a happy ending but how could the author made MC started all over again after she finished her mission? Although in the end ML remembered her again but what about all those people that she met and befriended and all those memories with them?

This is truly one of a very Good Heartwarming, Cute, and Emotional novel all mixed together!!!

Has one of the BEST Female MC Ever!!! Non OP whatsoever, but her personality are So Lovable! She's Confident with many of her actions, but she's no Flawless. She's no Saint, but she will try her best help the people she cares. She's truly Devoted and Caring to ML. And all her Genuine actions made ML do the vice versa.

She's no Scaredy cat nor Saint in a way she has no problem seeing bad people... more>> get beaten the way the deserve, and she dare to hurt the people who had hurt others.

The author did great at writing character's personality, but not so much at writing more detailed background characters. I mean, the story lacks of few details. Like, how we barely know FL's past, and why the main Villains was a Villain in the first place.

Anyway this Novel has lots of Cute moments! Fluffy Cute or Steamy Cute.

It keep intriguing and did not make me bored even once!

Sure it was definitely not a Perfect novel. But it still so Well Written, the main plot is Consistent, and the main story end is Sweet!

I just hope the rest of the Extras would explain things more about a certain Timeline. 🙏 But yes, I Truly Do Loving this Novel! <<less

In my opinion, the storyline is a little bit confusing. When MC went back to the past to help ML, when she came back to the present, it effected what had actually happened at the present time. In fact, this concept is very interesting, but sometimes it makes me confused... Especially in the middle of the story. It's hard to describe, I think you should try to read by yourself? 🤔

But overall, this story is pretty decent. Well, as light reading, I think it's okay?

A very nice read.

Those who comments earlier didn't do wrong in their views.

Although its romance meter is kinda slow to move on, like 1step forward, 2steps back, this novel can still DELIVER.

I like it. Every scene is very touching, my fav is the grandma scene. Very memorable.

The bad people, face slap scene is very nicely done, except for the 'hero', where his retribution is very late, and he got very hard cover-up.

Kudos to the author. Its a good read.

Warning, the MC are very narssacist lol

There are actually not much plot, villain kinda dumb

Although I doubt autism can be cured, but for the sake of fiction romance novel, im just gonna let it slide.

The ML in both world are very pitiful, but they each will have their own HE.

The basic plot was a little meh but I did like the interactions between the MC and ML. Once she finished "curing" him it got boring and reading the ending felt like a chore.

Overall not a great story, I wouldn't bother reading this when there are so many good stories out there. Maybe if you're really bored and can't find anything else.

it's a very fluffy story. Though, I don't like how the author portrayed autism in this book. But I enjoyed it nevertheless. Also, the mtl is easy to comprehend.

So I held off on reading this because I'm always wary of romance stories that feature a lead with mental differences but I was pleasantly surprised by the way this handles autism and the potential "curing" of said autism. While the ML does see improvement, the MC is really healing (or preventing) the trauma that made his condition worse so it's not as bad.

Plus the ML is adorable as he recovers.

That being said, there is a heavy focus on the MC's "prettiness" in the first half (or so) of the... more>> novel and even the ML calls her ugly.

The MC is a transmigrator who becomes the wife of the ML. She is the only person he will let near him and the only one who can calm him down. Initially, she needs to regain her "halo" which has been stolen by her cousin or she will die. She can regain this by making the ML happy and collecting "suns" from him. She can also use those suns to undo traumatic moments in his past. Over the course of making him happy (and resolving his issues), she develops genuine affection and then love for him.

The ML is the autistic son of a wealthy family. He's undergone a lot of hardship in his life which has made his condition worse but the MC arrives and he begins to act more normal. His autism never fully goes away but he will become a far more approachable person by the end of the story (he does develop the cold CEO mentality though). He doesn't seem to understand his feelings for the MC at first but he does quickly realize that he likes when she's around, when she kisses him and when he's the only one in her attention.

The story is a bit of a wibbly wobbly time mess as the MC (sort of) jumps through time to resolve the ML's trauma. Every time she does, the present changes and people don't remember the way things were. While most of her trips are dedicated to solving the ML's problems, she does indirectly affect others which leads to vast changes in everyone's lives. It can be kind of seen as karma, as good people have happy results while the antagonists get progressively worse.

Spoiler

She prevents the brother of one of ML's classmates from getting crippled. She also prevents the deathes of both the ML's grandmother and his assistant's girlfriend (two separate events). The ML's cousin, who is also autistic, gets rescued from a guy who was abusing him after his kidnapper abandoned him there.

The main two antagonist's lives just progressively get worse. The fake brother goes from nearly inheriting the ML's family's business to entering the business later in life and then finally ends up in prison on one of the last trauma-changes. The cousin goes from being kicked out of the family mansion to never having married the fake brother and then finally never even meeting him.

It was kind of interesting to read but the author never fully explained it.

[collapse]

With all the changes, the antagonists still get what they deserve but it feels a little unsatisfactory. With everything the fake brother does, his ending off screen was kind of blah. The cousin and the aunt, though, definitely had a much more satisfactory ending. Even if there was a lot of repeated thoughts from the cousin about an event she was certain was going to happen.

Spoiler

The fake brother is a terrible human being. Even when they were kids, he was malicious to the ML. One of the first trauma incidents was actually him pushing the ML down the stairs (which resulted in fractured ribs). After that, his acts are almost downright sociopathic. He took the ML's Grandmother's emergency medication, pushed the ML into the lake and watched him struggle, he even had thugs kidnap the ML (and then told them to kill him when they were compromised). He just always played a good son (and brother) in front of the ML's parents so they were none the wiser.

The cousin was also super hung up on the dreams she kept having. She dreamt of the MC meeting her real grandfather as well as the MC running away from the ML to be with another man. She just 100% believed those would happen and tried to capitalize on it even though she has the IQ of a spoon.

[collapse]

At the end, we are given a few extra chapters which detail an alternate ML who never fully recovered and an MC who is distant to everyone, as well as the super gifted son the main timeline pair had. Both are interesting but don't really add much to the over all story.

Over all, this was a pretty fluffy read. <<less

BEAUTIFUL. The writing, the translation, the characters, the plot, everything is just ¡chef's kiss! If you like the puppy-like male lead, you have to read this novel. There is fluffiness everywhere, there is baby ML and lots of love. One of my favs, highly recommended.

okay.. *Breathes in* AAAAAA

i dont remember half of the stuff bc I forced myself to forget this (thats how bad it is)

i think its the same as those novels with the male leads having autistic but what I liked the most abt this is that FL helped the ML by going back to the past and helping him avoid the accidents which lead him becoming autistic.

and sure there's also some face slapping scenes and those are vv much satisfying especially bc the og! FL was such a b*tch. (Honestly... more>> I dont even get it why they're the og MC's when all they have was stolen 🙄)

BUT!!

what I hate about it is also because of that:

Spoiler

everything was great na eh, the ML was responding to the things around him (to his parents and such) but they pulled out the amnesiac trope !!! AAAAA!! Its was sooo great but its like all of the fl's effort was gone bc the ML forgot her and i. Can. Not. Take. That.

[collapse]

so yeah, that's why I dropped it and I was soo disappointed bc wasted one week reading it just to drop it. <<less

Read this without a brain, then there will be enjoyment (maybe).

As a medical personnel, it's so cringey to read this lol. One good thing is:
Spoiler

how loving ML's parents are towards him. Although, that's not responsible parents behavior either, but as I said earlier: turn brain off

[collapse]

The crrzy writer is good at hooking me: I want to see the extent of 'cure' that FL can give to ML. But read at the cost of s*upiding (what even is s*upiding, I AM becoming s*upider) myself, thus I give up...

Tbh, I was first a little worried that the story's translation might plummet later on then I'll soon get bored, thankfully, it didn't get bad. Also, this story is very similar with the author's another story (AISTMLTFLC). But I prefer this more (especially since that other story's translation is still MTLed).

Anyway, aside from that, due to the FL's intervention when she's going back to the past, some events in the present were messed up and if you're not paying attention, there's no doubt you'll be confused or even annoyed. Nevertheless,... more>> I'm alright with all of them
Spoiler

Aside from her last major task which really doused my enthusiasm by half (and it never return back to 100% like how I've felt before that last task. Maybe around 85% at most). It actually annoyed me that she gave to go through the very beginning and albeit LJ recovered his memories later on, I prefer when they're already husband and wife. Even Huo Xiaoyue was forgotten because of that. That's the only task I really disliked, or rather, the consequences of that task.

[collapse]

Anyway, I can't stop smiling because of their cuteness (especially the ML's). He's just waaaaay too adorable. Wuwuwuw my sweeet Xiao Juejue. Also, I prefer him when he's still not fully recover (because he's easier to bully jk lol). But honestly speaking, he's indeed cuter before the final task was completed.

Lastly, thank goodness that the translation was good or else my enthusiasm will no doubt plummet no matter how good the story is. Over all, it's not totally a lighthearted story but aside from the ML's illness and past everything is fine and sweet (I'm ommitting Lin Tiantian and Lu Shenyuan here). The story is actually more focused on the two of them and how the ML is healing. Therefore, it's 80% sweetness and growth while 20% was the little drama (which are not overly complicated). I like the FL's decisiveness and cleverness but above all, Lu Jue is still my favorite. My little wolf pup lol. 9.5/10

Spoiler

Ps. There's something special about their son (he can more or less talk to animals) so I guess there'll be another story for that?

surprisingly good! I was initially worried about it since it looks like the typical cliched cnovel, it definitely has that vibe but this exceeded my expectations. Sweet MC and an even sweeter ML. I really didn't have much expectation on the portrayal of autism since well, it is a novel after all, but at least it's a teeny bit better portrayal than the other i've read, and a bit more logical since it is a fantasy.

Though be warned that there would be a lot of plot holes since MC's actions... more>> have butterfly effects EVERY TIME. So some things are a bit sad and have a messed up timeline, especially after MC's last trip. I find the previous interactions a waste since everything she experience turned to dust after her trip.

Spoiler

MC transmigrates back into the past and changes ML's life to cure his autism, and every time she goes back, something in the future charges.

Actually it's very good, but.. Some lil logic and Statment form author make blunder and really ruin everything, I feel author greed the they try to satisfied the reader but at the same time they make a not so good time track for the last part of the story ... more>>

first they know autism can't be cured.. (It's not an illness or mental illness) and then in the middle part MC (author opinion make it ML can be ''cured''), dis.. Really tuik the good base, and in my opinion they overuse beautification on ML and MC and ruin the mood, at the last part we will see 2 kind of story.. One in our story.. I'm just gonna rant cause I felt pissed at how they bullied the ML and I'm also pissed by how the ML can't even bother to protect himself. There might be some hurtful words but yeah let me rant.

I know that the ML had some problems and is sick and needs help, however, how could they know if he wouldn't speak up? It feels frustrating seeing him just let everyone treat him like a punch bag yet he wouldn't say anything. He was described to be 'smart' yet he just feels like a f*cking fool to me. Look here, it's not like there are many bullies on Earth, it's just some people won't stand up against bullying and won't do anything just why they get more audacious. It was fortunate that the FL can go back in time and rescue him, but tf is wrong with saying something? At this point, all the FL's effort feels nothing cause he wasn't listening to her advice. Like will it kill him to speak and not let himself get hurt? It was okay for verbal abuse, yet he won't even speak up even when he was physically hurt and the FL's efforts were treated like an air. I know he had 'autism', but he looks more like an empty doll for me.

It's fluffy and straightforward, no overly-dramatic drama. The time-travel back to certain key points in the ML's life could have been executed better but I MTL-ed so a lot of nuance is probably lost. The characters are very human-like in their reactions. The way autism is depicted is realistic and it isn't romanticized or demonized, it's written in a way that shows that being autistic isn't only ML's characteristic, that a person exists beyond the autism.

This would probably be very boring for others who like the explosive sort of romance... more>> or tear-jerking stories. But for people who are tired of drama and only wants to read about a peaceful love story, involving characters who communicates properly, are rational and human in their reactions then this story is for you.

There is no need to think too hard when reading this story, the cause and effect is reasonable and makes sense when pondered upon. <<less
