“You know how to save Asta? If what you say is false, you have to pay it back with your life.”

The name of this terrifying yet beautiful man is Hart von Reinhardt.

The sub male protagonist of the original, the first prince who is despised by the Emperor and an ardent follower of the Saint Asta Appel.

The character that I liked in my previous life was now my biological father.

‘Asta, the heroine of the original work, will kill him after using.’

Swallowing my disappointment, I put on my best face.

“Yes!”

“…..ha.”

Hart let out a mocking laughter as he looked down at my small clenched fists.

Although it’s a bit ridiculous, this was the first meeting with my biological father. But it was true that I knew how to cure Asta.

Of course, I’m not here to save Asta. I’m here to save my dad, who’s being used by Asta & will later die an unjust death.

Is there any law that says only a father can save his daughter?

Wait for me Dad, I’ll save you!

Leaving this review after reading the latest translated chapter.

I usually read childcare novels for the fluff but this story is more than just the typical fluffy, doting & sometimes cringey father-daughter relationship. 1. PLOT - The plot is nothing new and the events are even predictable BUT what got me so hooked about this novel is how the author executed the story narration. It was well-done. It has been quite a while since I got so hooked to the point that I screamed in frustration because the latest chapter (c100) ended when a very important event was about happen. This novel got my emotions in a rollercoaster. It made me excited, annoyed, frustrated, sad, and happy. Really, reading this novel felt like a full-time job yet I kept reading cause I craved for more.

2. CHARACTERS - MC is very clever and I especially like clever MCs. Supporting characters are fleshed-out too. They left quite an impression on me. Even the 1st main villain was given a backstory. There are also the usual bullies & third-rate villains so there are a lot of face slappings. But what I liked is that the 1st main villain actually uses her head. Just like the MC, the 1st main villain is quite clever and sly. She devises plans to sabotage MC and co. So there are times when the MC's group takes a blow but they eventually turn the crisis to their advantage.

Spoiler

the ML is SUS!!! You'll get what I mean when you read around 90+. I think this is the author's way of being "crafty" and misleading the readers about who the real "suspect" is and I probably fell for it but STILL!

This novel had me on a tight grip!

(I'm giving it a tentative five stars even though we're still early in the story because of the unfathomably low rating...)

I like it.

Character interactions feel realistic and compelling, and OG!FL (I'm talking about Asta) is a b*tch but she reminds me of a darker version of Aria from TVRTH. Even though I hate her, I can understand why she's so pressed to exact revenge and if the story were told from her POV I bet we would all be rooting for her, which is why this new spin... more>> is very refreshing and intriguing.
Spoiler

This is her second life and she was basically ruined in her first life by a dimensional traveler and the "real saint" (Yenna) so this time round she wants to take over everything that Yenna had using her first life knowledge. But our FL has knowledge of everything including Asta's regression because she read it in a novel iirc.

[collapse]
Asta is not your typical two-dimensional villain (at least for now) and she has actual motives for doing what she does, but I still hate her for implicating a child in her revenge (our FL). Speaking of which, our FL (Hanelope) is simply adorable and reading from her thoughts is very pleasant, and I love her relationship with her dad. The translations are very good as well!

I highly recommend for you to give this story a try and see for yourself if you enjoy it as much as I do ~ <<less

"They're not my mom and dad! Aunt Judy and Uncle Sandy said they brought me here to sell me as a s*ave😁!" the way I burst out laughing at this is not even funny💀

[collapse]

The dynamic between the MC and her father is really cute, but these adults need to step up and stop letting their personal issues effect a child👊👊

Also, you just can't help but love the MC's character, she's snappy and sassy, and is just a perfect amount of bratty that doesn't make her seem annoying, but cute instead.

The plot just started and it's just cute and fluffy currently, but I'll edit my review after finishing all the available chapters.

Edit:
Im gonna grow white hair while waiting for the angst to come👊 Love the MC and the dad's communication, it's not frustrating like other novels.

But, it feels like all the other characters are just s*upid, like why are they openly insulting her, even after she was acknowledged by the emperor? It's just frustrating, because they have no brain other than to attack MC for no reason. And this just repeats, with grown ass adults fighting against a seven year old.

If you're gonna reach this, expecting full ongoing plot, , , you'll be disappointed, but if you just wanna read a cute fluffy story and be stressless, then I would recommend this. The MC is cute and funny, the father isn't a cold non-communitive bastard (super rare in childcare novels!!), and this is just a sweet story overall.

Seeing that this novel is new and not many have read it so Ill leave an honest review The story is great if you are interested in childcare stories and the MC has good character she didn't just got out there and declared hey love me Im your daughter although the plot seems easy to understand and the Villain in the story is seen just in the few chaps so it doesn't seem to have much of a drama. The translations are great too. This review is only until chap... more>> 12 I hope to read it more in the future. Translator keep up the good work <<less

I love child protagonist novels and this is so good. Hanelope is funny and cute. The thing I liked she's smart but not necessarily OP. She has her own struggles behind it.

It's natural for family members to fawn over in this genre, but the author shows that she made efforts to gain recognition from her father and grand father. I mainly read how FL puts the villains in places. Plus how FL and her dad gradually comes over their own barriers.

Hart is one of the better dad's out there. She... more>> was not ignored on despised. He didn't know of her existance because of a misunderstanding. The first thing he thought seeing Hanelope, was if she was the daughter of his. The light moments are truly enjoyable. <<less

There’s many other novels like this, where the child protagonist tries to change the trajectory of the story. I found this to be actually really cute in comparison to other stories. Everyone fawns over the protagonist, and while she’s naïve to a certain extent (for her age and situation), she’s entertaining and cute. Most of all, I love the bickering of her family lol. Dad who loves his daughter but doesn’t know how to communicate well and grandfather who loves his granddaughter but can’t really show it.
