Another brain-dead novel. You literally have to throw away your three-world views upside down to read it. I don’t actually know how to rate this.. kind of disappointed ngl.

First thing first, our MC is thousand years old ginseng that knows nothing how the world works. So his mind and mentality is basically like a child. Although he is thousand years old, I’m still uncomfortable the fact that he thinks like a 9 years old kid but ML still had s*x with him iykwim. I mean, yeah, even the ML himself... more>> is uncomfortable with it but that’s fine ig.

Next, the world setting revolves around children. Children everywhere. I admitted that I read this bcs of the children but when there’s too many babies, it’s not parenting anymore. Just pure neglecting.

The story start of strong and I mean strong STRONG. But around at the end of the novel it started getting boring for me. The ending is also seems rushed and the extra ends with a cliffhanger.

I really like the first half of the storyline though. The second half... it feels like the author is just making excuses to make the story longer. I want to know more about Locke and Ye/Yan (can’t remember the name lol) family. What happened to them? The author didn’t give more details about them and just straight forward go to a new plot.

Meh, overall 3.5 <<less

4🌟 coz I love it. It's a great novel. Has fluff, romance, chemistry, as well as a thought out plot. Which is really kind of predictable, but like, what did I expect? And I like the concept, so we all good.

I found the scenes about the MC trying not get eaten really funny. I'm sure vegans will love this novel, huh? I'd personally recommend it to TheVeganTeacher lol😂😂

It's not a 5 star coz it was nothing to keep me on my back overnight, scrolling and screenshoting. But yeah, it's a... more>> fun read. Great ML and ML family and everything.

I also love how there's no family drama from our main couple's side. I also love how the author doesn't try to sprout out 1001 other couples. I would appreciate it though if MC treated that little vine a little better (UWU (♡ω♡) ~♪) But I love how they're like; "we can have kids, or not. At the end of the day we'll appreciate each other most" <<less

I understand the low scores because the extra caused the book to be unsatisfying

It was a good story until the end. The extra was boring and ended, not in a cliff hanger, but abruptly

Really abruptly. Like in the middle of a chapter abruptly

My recommendation is to read up to the extra and end there. The extra actually detracts from the story

It's good! Plant Spirit x Doting Marshal + Cute Little Ginseng Babies

The MC is a little naive, which is understandable given that he spent thousands of years with only his master then alone after his master ascended. He's so cute and adorable but unexpectedly talented in driving aircrafts and mechas.

The ML is a powerful marshal who doted on the MC and their children a lot.

... more>> The children are very cute and with different personalities that made them interesting.

I only gave it 4 stars because the ending is such a cliff-hanger. Though this didn't affect the plot, it still left me a bit of unsatisfied feeling. <<less

I didn't like the first half. The MC is supposed to be a thousands-year-old ginseng spirit, but he's an innocent idiot who looks like he's 13-15 years old and requires the ML's bodily fluid (just imagine which one) for sustenance. The author should have made him look like he was in his twenties for this kind of plot. I'll definitely be avoiding any "shota" tagged novels from now on.

The second half is much better, as the MC evolves into the appearance of a young man and the plot moves to... more>> another alien civilization and a lot of new, interesting secondary characters are introduced to the story. I would happily read it from the second half onwards.

This is a very cute and well developed novel. It isn't complex. It's perfect for reading when you need to relax.

I love the writing style of this author and other novels by him/her are among my favorites.

I want to clarify a point about critics that I read that say that it romanticizes relationships with minors:

The protagonist is presented as a substitute bride of a race that is also small (1.60 meters of average height). When the family discover that he doesn't belong to that race, they enter into a moral and ethical conflict, because they don't know what race he is and they evaluate him according to the human standard of their society where the average height is 2 meters, but in reality the body of the protagonist is guided by the average height of his universe, which is 1.80 meters at most, hence the mistake that he is mistaken for a 12/14 year old child. But all this is resolved quickly.

The story really is cute and enjoyable but the fluff is not enough 🙃 the author really don't describe the situation enough especially those lovey-dovey moments. She mostly tell briefly that and this happened which kinda disappointing.

I think "a guide to rise your natural enemy" also short of lovey-dovey moments after getting together but their interactions at the beginning makes it kinda fulfilling than this novel.

I didn't want much angst and drama yet in this novel all drama happened too fast and too easy which left me with a meh... more>> feeling 😅 maybe MTLing has a factor.

I think I would have liked it more if the author gave each element more space because it has potential.

But I have to say that I like the characters... And that kinky yet pure side lol

Very good ah! Nice and fluffy. No angst just a lot of wtfs. Translation is... soso. MTLing the raws is overbearingly unintelligeable you'll be forced to automatically fill in the blanks yourself.

The problem with this book is the appearance of MC in early chap child like appearance (12-13 age) which is a kind of off putting. Everybody treat MC like child cause of his innocence, childish behavior and appearance.

ML also feel the MC is child but the way he behave is really weird. In one chap he says if MC like other after he grows up he will help him and says if MC still like him after growing up he will marry him which I feel like grooming to me... more>> a big 'NO'. Then again he behave like a pe*vert like saying 'make a fool of himself ' (being hard for mc) weird.

I don't have a problem with the character like MC innocent, little childish and all but the problem is how the ML and MC had been portrayed.

I haven't read it completely or to say I'm just in 20 something chap but it have been really unpleasant to continue reading it. Maybe I will drop it after some chap if it goes on portraying MC as a child. (May edit later). <<less

Its an ok story. Good but not overly good like MDZX. Its a bit boring because its so simple. The villains were defeated. Though, the MC not overly OP, he is a lucky character.

But, if you like simple story to pass the time. THIS IS IT. Its not too heavy.

96 chapters is a feat in itself. It’s not a bad novel, straightly speaking. It’s just not my cup of tea despite having much of the qualities I normally enjoy in novels. Fluffy, mpreg, OP main CP... on paper, it’s quite attractive.

It could be execution or just the lack of actual romance buildup that’s boring me, but I have spent over a month mulling over this one novel while simultaneously reading a bunch of manhwas on the side to help perk up my brain. I came for the entertainment and mpreg so this was quite fun for me. The story is cute and sweet, full of fluff. The plot was good, but there were many plotholes and loopholes. Still it was entertaining.

MC is so adorable and the romance between MC and ML is very sweet and entertaining. Plus the pace is also very nice.

well, the higher Civilization arc was....... bit disappointing. Maybe I was expecting too much but the story kind of got bit dull through that arc. Also, I didn't like how author made ML look like pe*vert ... more>>

In higher Civilization arc, I didn't like how author made ML look like a pe*vert, lusting after a minor. Even though MC looks like Minor and has a body like Minor, in actual, He isn't. But other people doesn't know that and since his fake ID gave him minor age, people think he's minor...... and thus the misunderstanding or misconception.

I waiting for them to correct or reveal that MC wasn't a minor...... but that didn't happened. Everyone still think ML is a pe*vert who made a move on an underage child and got him preg, Except for some people who know the truth. Although MC and ML both doesn't mind it, but it kinda bug me. I really don't like people to have such negative image on the Character I liked........ even if these people are NIP.

Also I am not a fan of too many CP in one story..... though I did enjoyed some of the cp, some were just ok.

Well, I kinda of like the way it (extra) ended (Kinda like movie style ending), though it was not satisfying. wish there were more of it...... like the babies future scenerio or something.

Overall, it was sweet and entertaining.

The story wasn’t the worst I’ve read but is a little repetitive in the end. Not to say everything was bad since some parts were funny. Overall, this is a non-serious-nothing-but-fluff story. <<less

This was cute. I wasn't looking for anything realistic, slow burn or award winning, so I can just say it was a relaxing read. It's great that the MC evolved a bit over time, there's some silliness and cute kids. Giving this something between a 3 and 4 because of the villains and typical overly exaggerated mass psychology... you know kind of overused scenarios where lots of people are watching every move the main characters make? But this is also not nearly as exaggerated as other works I've read. As... more>> for the villains, lol hahahaha someone was directly swept under the rug along the way. So much so I want to ask, "Wait. Was this guy pardoned? What about all the things those people in cohoots did?" The rest of the later villains were fairly predictable. Also, the ending was very sudden and doesn't feel like a story end at all. But it is what it is ㄟ (▔∀▔) ㄏ

Quiet boring. I just hate OP characters unless in QT because the OPness get stale very fast. Nothing wrong with MC and ML they are a cute couple. But I prefer my characters to be beaten by the world.

It's cute. It's funny. It's easy to read.

Charming characters and relatively quick paced, this story is lively and sweet.
The MC and ML are possessive of eachother and it does take the MC a while to recognise what love is, but he eventually does and they are such a stable couple. The love story between the main couple is wonderful with solid communication and the babies are hilarious.
There are a few supporting couples that get together in random ways, but they all seem to work.

You could see each couple's feelings grow as they got closer and with situations speeding up the bonding process. So they all get close quickly, but when you think of babies, forced proximity, stressful situations, etc, they had the oppertunity to develop those feelings so quickly because they were always together and had to communicate.
The ending with the bonus chapters is a little sudden, but its one of those endings where you go, it could just keep going and never stop. It doesn't feel like an incomplete ending, just one that you wish hadn't happened yet. I have added it to my list of stories to re-read.

I love this kind of unpretentious, fun novels meant for entertainment only, filled with a set of cute wacky characters and coherent story. It is well translated... I read the Ontimestory translation. Yes it is shota genre and if this is too immoral for you then just move on to something else, instead of whining until mental collapse lmao...
