From the original novel, I possessed Rosetta, the “Villainess # 2”, who was accused of the crime of the main villainess and was executed.

I have to run away from the fate of the original, but I have no special ability at all as a supporting role without the main character buff.

Even a part-time job was a luxury for such a lady, an obscurely pretty noble. But I don’t want to go to the temple and become a priestess.

I’d rather get married to a suitable man!

With such a moderately decent family behind him, I married a seemingly harmless man.

A country lord on the outskirts, not far from the capital, affluent financial conditions and a modest title of a count.

It bothers me a little that he has a bandage on his face, but… I thought it was a success.

But it’s strange. My husband seems like the main character of the original story?!

One of my favourite novel. Male lead is yandere but in a healthy way. He was doting and also a sweetheart towards the FL. FL is very kind person, such a warm soul. Plot is great. This novel is for hopeless romantic like me, LOL. ML is really sweet and protective. Smut is really good (yumm). I like their povs. There are some annoying characters but ML got our back, he’s protecting our FL.

Empress is one of the MVP. She’s a sweetheart and emperor is great. I haven’t finish the novel so I don’t know how they will turn out but so far they are just great people and a leader. Emperor and Empress are so elegant and powerful but still love the ML.

I know it's still the beginning of this novel it is good, it's not bad, and it's slightly different from the other KL novels of a similar category but there is a lot of biased judgment.

In conclusion, I can say it's a good novel to read it just once.

The FL is tricked into marrying OGML, who is in love with her and cares about her a lot, well more than obsess person type. He knew well that she will reject him without thinking if he said he is the Prince because he was well known to be a follower and had a likeness towards OGFL.

FL had multiple through that she was been used and all the things ML did was fake, but couldn't do anything because of her social status (I mean she is the daughter of a very low-rank noble, and ML is the highest-rank noble with his brother being emperor), being a woman, having no money, having no support for the family, and having no one to get help form. So basically she is trapped in a fraudulent marriage with no way out, even if she tries ML with trying to stop her, also since he is decision will be more valid than hers. While hers will be invalid because of his status.

Marriage and love are one-side (by ML side), but there is a very slow development (on the FL side). At times FL seems to give up on life and accept bullsh*t for the people.

I find it annoying when FL's family didn't believe in her when she told them that she did not harm OGFL. It's more annoying how the Adopted son through so poorly even of FL, though he was blessed to be in such a nice family he blindly supposed OGFL and thought she (FL) deserves to be tricked/used by the Prince (ML) who has liked/crushed on OGFL.

There a lot of smut scenes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I spent an ENORMOUS amount of time wanting to smack the Iris, og FL REALLY REALLY HARD. She's just DUMB. She can TELL the plot has changed and refuses to adapt to her new situation, unlike the new FL. Rosetta, the new FL, is a very reasonable person - she knows that she is completely trapped by the circumstances in the story, and no one ever believes her (which does come back to bite them later). Upon realizing that there is literally no way to get out of... more>> her situation (she tries finding a job, moving, etc, but with no support from her family and no one believing her side of the story, she is very sincerely between a rock and a hard place) Rosetta bites the bullet and marries a man whose face she can't see. Her husband was injured in the war and while it's going to heal and the bandage will be removed, she's more interested in getting the eff out of Dodge (tbh, I would be too in her shoes) than in what her future spouse looks like. She is also willing to at least try to find affection in her new marriage and divorce if it looks like she will harm her new husband, so there's that. The next morning when she gets to see her husband without his bandage is when all hell breaks loose because the og villainess (Isabelle) is NOT going to let her live for this one. The og FL and og villainess were already in a battle over the Grand Duke Mikhail, and now Rosetta has sincerely stepped in the sh*tpile by marrying him. What Rosetta DOESN'T know yet is that Mikhail has actually figured out that Rosetta was only a patsy for the villainess, and that the og FL is both dumb as a brick wall a spoiled brat. He doesn't want ANYTHING to do with her (og FL) but she refuses to believe it because he's supposed to be the final man who falls utterly and completely at her feet. Joke's on both Iris The Dumb and Isabelle The Vicious - Mikhail realized what was going on a WHILE ago and is going to make sure they both suffer for hurting his sweet little cinnamon roll. It's a satisfying read, and I'm honestly glad I read it. I do want to agree with what Quaraliel said in their review - the TL is iffy in some places, where it keeps switching POV from 1st person to 3rd person and it's very jarring. Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable and quick read (like Yash2001jul you can find the full on novelupdates spoilers).

It’s hard to judge as the story has just started, but it looks like a light, easy novel with fast love, smut, schemes against FL and powerful ML. It doesn’t sound like anything special, but I wouldn’t mind reading it. It’s not nerve-wrecking like some angst stories and we will have to see if the FL will be only a protected princess or she’ll show she has some brains of her own.

The translation has some problems with grammar (there is a pretty significant difference between “lying on her” and “lying... more>> to her”), but it is not to the point of not being understandable. <<less

The summary seemed like your typical isekai villainess story, MC chose to get married to lead a smooth life (except this time she is gonna divorce when it's safe for her cause #1 villainess is scary af). No opinions with that. The whole premise isn't anything surprising, but I tried reading it, and yeah I don't think I can stomach it.

I'm not sure if it's the author's writing style, or the translator, but the pov is a mess. In one paragraph I can see 'Rosetta blushed' and 'I looked away'.... more>> Isn't Rosetta the main character?? I feel like the author is trying to establish the MC and og villainess as 2 diff people, but there's literally no reason for it. I have no idea if it's the author or the translator who is doing this, but it's the author, their writing is horrible (can't rlly blame the translator, they are doing it for free).

Now, the reason why I feel like there's no reason for the differentiation is because absolutely NOTHING is being addressed in the first 2 chapters. The author just jumped straight in into the story with the MC and ML getting married. There's no "why they did it", "when they did it", "they discussed it" at all. You just see the MC saying she has to get married as soon as possible so she doesn't get dragged into the main Villainess plots which quickly gets annoying because girl repeats SO MANY times in the first chapter alone. Hell I don't even know how they met and what sh*t was agreed.

And so far, the marriage seems terribly one sided. MC mentioned that she would divorce when it's safe for to, but by the second chapter the ML is already trying to take her to bed, hence kissing her. There's no indication of what went on, why they are marrying, is there even a contract etc. I wasnt expecting myself to get immediately thrown into the story so it's quite a shock.

Not sure if I'm terribly agitated because of the way the author wrote the story, or that there's no usual intro to what happen, why MC died etc, but yeah this story is NOT my cup of tea. I'm not giving this book a rating cause I don't think I have the right to (hell I can't even continue reading to know if the writing gets better cause wtf was that, horrible first impression) but yes. <<less

Love the premise and love how the story is fast paced that the synopsis was already finished within the first 20 chapters makes you more interested about whats coming next.

I really love this novel. For anyone who loves historical romance smuts with a touch of fantasy, then this is definitely for You!

Sexy, Overpowered Male Lead ✅

Really Evil Villains ✅

Powerful/Rich Characters from Aristocratic Society ✅

Interesting Plot & Good Character Development ✅

Honestly the only thing I don’t really like is that the Female Lead doesn’t have much of a presence, but honestly the Male Lead definitely makes Up for it. Also the smut scenes are really unique and sensual!

I so want to rate this 2 but I only read up to 2 chapters.

For you to enjoy this, you must leave your brain cells. So many questionable parts that just screams dumb world building and very stretched out plot.

  • First off, how can a prince wife die at their own place just because the prince left the room??? Guards, hello??? The mastermind might as well kill the emperor and be the ruler with that kind of power.
  • Get this! Prince thought that whoever the mastermind is did it out of jealousy so whoever interested in him is the killer... You're a freaking prince, even if it's true that's not limiting the number. And heck you even failed, taking you so many years to discover them. And you had to first discover how MC is being calculated than who is calculating....
  • HOW ML FELL IN LOVE? WELL he find her very kind uwu just like his first wife uwu. I didn't bother reading further after that as my head already exploded.
  • So I'm not that sure how exactly she married a prince but please know in reality marriage is not taken lightly like this.
