A good enough book to pass the time. If you're a connoisseur, this book's not for you. But, if you're bored and have too much time to waste, this book would deliver. Give the book some love in your own way, like every other book you've ever read, reading, and will read.

I like the development story in the overall and world building is interesting.

The MC mind has changes because that the Race/Species and a guess this is an intriguing point in the novel, because in general, the human mind ignore the body and instincts of the species in others novels.

And the translation is so good, I thank the translator!

It's OK, it got pretty bad once all the godly stuff happened, no more emotions were in the story, everything was business. Hard to enjoy the story, no love, no passion, just greed and benefits. Gods in this world are like companies, all focused on profit and don't care about anyone else. I guess the only one with emotion is the goddess of darkness, everyone else is a machine.

Tldr: no emotion (not even for daughter or baby mama), everyone machine, boring

Still read to chapter 399 though but I was hoping... more>> for more stakes or emotions to be involved. <<less

I really want to like it because it's the only thing I've read with a proper dragon protagonist (lustful, prideful, etc)... but it's just too poorly-written. there's a spell that blocks everything, including electromagnetic radiation (so comms technology fails)... but people can see in no problem??? Wtf do you think light is??? Even worse is the time dilation thing... they can speed up time between worlds, but it costs basically nothing for a single person? So he has a 30-1 time difference on each side. How tf is changing the timeflow of an entire world dependent on the number of outsiders???

There are MANY things like that, to the point that I realized I'm just forcing myself to read even through the better world parts. It gets 2 stars because I love lustful and prideful protagonists (he accepts a group of s*x s*aves pretty much at the beginning), but I just can't get past the plot holes. <<less

First off the Chinese nationalism is cringe. It makes the parts where protagonist is back on earth almost unreadable and daft. I rated 3/5 stars averaging the scores of the Earth and San Soleil parts. 2/5 for Earth arcs and 4/5 for San Soleil arcs. But such is the way most Chinese writers must write about a modern setting, should that setting include a modern China SMH. Earth arcs also feel like filler as there is already no danger to protagonist on earth, while there are still enemies in San... more>> Soleil. The only thing that happens in the earth arcs is the glorification of China and the degradation of their real life enemies i.e. The U.S. And South Korea. Japan is seen as an ally of China in the series when you consider Japan-China relations at the time the author was writing seems to make sense (relationships was slightly softening at the time). Previously the protagonist said he wouldn't use his powers to change the geopolitical landscape too much, but I guess that was BS as protag goes out of his was to destroy the U.S. With every one of his machinations. <<less

The novels pretty good so far, there are a few areas that were hard to read.

The return to earth chapters were hard to get through (i skipped alot), a ton of china #1 and western culture is is tr*sh etc.

While many people are whining about the character of the MC, I think if you think in depth it does do justice to his behavior. My only say is that you need to read it to tell if you will like it or not, or you'll be missing out because some say it's bad because they don't preferentially like it. For me it's quite decent and have a lot of potential so I might as well say that it's good or actually great.

One of my favorite novels atm, Protag acts like a dragon which is refreshing and the real world chapters are not as bad as other reviews portray. If your paying per chapter I could understand a bit though. They are slower and not as important then the rest. The china number 1 attitude is not really a thing the protag/author is obviously biased but the protag real interest only lies in the other world.

Overall a really good novel just wish it was in the thousands of chapters since its still... more>> so early <<less
