The novel seems promising. The MC is not naive as far as I can tell. If there is one thing that bother me the most, it is the quality of translation.

The Zetro Translation doing a good job for 10 first chapters. But when new translator take over (zero-kun), the translation quality goes pretty bad.

I feel like reading MTL novel with little edits, without proofread. In addition to bad grammar, there is repeated paragraph, confusing dialogues, confusing lines, and so on.

Zetro's translation was good. But another one is not so like many parts are missing, dialog flow is not smooth, can't understand if his butler and maid are even giving respect to MC. I hope in future chapters it will be much better or a bit more readable.

So far this one has been decent. The MC is one of those typical super OP MCs with normal modern sensibilities and morals in a world where life is cheap. The king of an allied nation and father of MC's fiancé used one of his own subjects, secretly guiding and manipulating him to form his own opposing political faction and allowed that faction to hold some level of political power, all so that any dissenting nobles would feel comfortable enough with exposing themselves to join this faction, making it easier to track them. Once he had no need of the faction leader any more, he then had him disposed of. He even allowed that faction leader while he was still alive to manipulate and brainwash the king's own son.

I like this sort of brutal medieval setting where life and death are treated lightly and human rights aren't a thing, where the MC is only allowed to do as he pleases and uphold his modern morals because he is A: a child, B: high-ranking nobility, and C: completely overpowered. So far all of the conspiracy and intrigue has been kept in the background and even when it involved the MC his only role was to crush the plots with brute force. I'm curious to see, as the MC ages and matures, if the author will ever allow the MC to be caught up in a situation that he can't solve by brute-forcing it from the front, how he'll handle all the dirty grown-up politics. <<less

This is another bait and switch novel. The title and summary say one thing but the actual story is something completely different. I came for a story about changing the plot of an otome game, presumably with young adult characters. Over a hundred chapters later and I am still reading about a precocious ten year old shocking everybody with his knowledge and new ideas.

Honestly, I liked the novel enough to continue reading, unfortunately when they introduce the first real villain in the series I think the series loses almost everything good.

1 the villain is too strong for the mc's state, I won't be surprised if the villain slaughters his entire family and he only says that he is angry
2 the way they make the villain look only makes the MC, his family and the supposedly strongest empire look s*upid.
3 I don't understand the power ranges at first they make the MC look like a future god and soon after he is just a little more than average
4 the times are horrible the MC, he is too unbalanced early for the plot of the game, if the plot starts he will be too unbalanced to get involved, everyone's age is absurd
5 The MC is too nice, he is so nice that he looks pitiful and s*upid to the point that it justifies being used and made fun of, how nice is he? His subordinates could cause a war or the extermination of his house if that is what he tried to avoid from the beginning and how does he punish them? He takes his own salary :l and the worst thing is that he continues to cause similar things when he is furious

No matter where I look to read this story it is always poorly translated, and the way the characters' lines were placed only makes the situation worse, making it even more confusing.

So far (c13) the story seems to have a suitable cake formula, but only slightly modified, so it looks like it will be a good read, but the state of the translation and formatting is horrible.

The story is still in the early stage but I am looking forward to MC interaction to the game characters of an otome/rpg game.

The concept of a side villain which can be played as after finishing the main story and then reincarnating into one is interesring. The MC is usually reincarnated as a villain/ess, hero/ine, capture targets (love interest), friend, or mob chatacter, where only the hero/ine and capture targests are playable in an otome/galge/rpg; but here, the MC rincarnated as a playable side villain which is new to me.

I don't recommend reading this to be honest. I've read some amateur JP webnovels with similar plot line and this is pretty much at the bottom as my impression so far.

The plot seems okay at a glance, but the execution is bores to the point that it's infuriating - nothing captivates you and the interactions are either somehow mediocre or very bland. Character development is like stagnant water too.

It's a decent (not good, but readable) story about an OP, weak willed MC with s-rank plot armor....

The majority of characters other than the MC are believable (their actions make sense, their motivation is clear/understandable). But there's little to no character development.

The MC is a reincarnated Otaku that has SOME knowledge about the "game world", but it's not particularly useful. He becomes OP by way of hard work and luck, and is able to use amazing magic by trying things that are so simple someone should have figured it out... more>> already.

Despite being a super intelligent, super strong, high ranking noble, he allows his servants to walk all over him. Says things like "I can never win against him/her". When this happens once or twice it's amusing, but him being a wuss is a reoccurring theme. <<less
