The most realistic novel I've read ever. The relationship is healthy, the conflicts are realistic. ML is the most kindhearted and positive ML in my list. I love it how author wtote the character of FL. She is the only one who treat ML normally. Lime a real normal person. There are lot of reader who comment how FL didn’t cherish ML, or fall in love with him. I find her attitude very normal. She care, charish in a way a best friend should do. She just didn’t saw him... more>> as lover. That doesn’t mean she didn’t care enough. I love love love the novel. <<less

This story is my everything. From the MC to ml, Idk I love them with all of my heart😭❤. Amazing story. I would sell my soul to read it for the first time, would recommend to other people, please give it a chance.

Sa lahat ng na basa ko na story, ito lang talaga yung tumagos sa puso ko😭. Pinag puyatan ko talaga. Please read it, you would no be dissapointed❤.

Wow!!! This is such a great novel. It's a hidden gem. I cried and laughed so many times reading this novel. I love this kind of slow burn romance that brings growth to the characters as they age and mature. From their birth to adulthood we get to experience how their relationship develops. FL went from annoying, lazy, and selfish to smart, loving, and hardworking. What didn't change was her kindness and cheerfulness towards MC. MC as always is so kind, willful, and thoughtful. I'm glad that the author didn't... more>> portrait him as a weak pitiful low self esteem person. It makes it so realistic since he did grow up without arms at a young ago he wouldn't have known any difference. Although at time he does feel that he's an inconvenience he never thought that he was any different from other people.

I can see why he decided to cut off ties with everyone including FL. Everyone of his friends and FL was flourishing in college while he was forced to live in this cold city majoring in a career that he didn't enjoy. On top of that his mom had cancer.

I'm so glad to have read this novel. I love every bit of it.

I'm gonna recommended another similar novel that is just as good. If you like this novel you'll definitely like "Ferocious Dog Of Old." Both novel the MC have a disability, horrible father, and the story is told from childhood to adulthood. The only difference is that it's a BL novel. <<less

This is such an amazing, praiseworthy novel. The male protagonist Gu MingXi is such a wonderful person that he instantly took number 1 ML spot in my heart. I have read many novels about disabled/sick or poor MLs overcoming their obstacles and getting their happy ending, but this is the first novel which has a protagonist who starts his journey with such a stong and healthy mindset. Even as a child of 10 years of age, GMX is such a smart, hardworking, confident and generous person. I love this story so much I read it in one go. The MC and ML were perfect for each other. I loved how its written and how the story progressed. Not so much angst which is a good thing. Lighthearted read but seriously made me cry a bunch of times. It's so good I can't seem to describe it into words that much

One of the most beautiful novels I've read. Definitely worth your time. I've cried a few times but it's a HE which really makes up for it. The characters feel so real, their emotions, personalities, growth and worries are all so realistic. I don't understand some if the criticisms on the characters, in real life people are like that, flawed. All in all such a heart wrenching and touching novel.

Love this. One of my all time favorites. I don't know how many times I've reread this story. The character growth is amazing. I love our leads and their growth from young children to adults, from. Childhood friends to lovers.

I enjoy reading how the relationship between Gu Ming Xi & Pang Qi An grows and gets stronger throughout this heartwarming novel. 💖💖

I shed some tears too when Gu Ming Xi decided to disappear from Pang Qi An's life and that they're separated for quite a while. However, I'm glad that their love for each other binds them together in the end.

Very nice touching story. While reading I keep on saying that thing from the past shouldn't have happened to him but lowkey reminding myself that 'that' is what makes this story interesting.

All the characters are developed to have their own strengths.

This story makes me feel refreshed with all the rebirth stories I've been reading. The length of 124 chaps is very short but I think it has been a very good read for me ☺️

I cried. I died. I lived.

Honestly, this book is heartwarming as well as heartbreaking.

This is a story of a little boy who's impaired and is struggling with life accompanied by a little girl that stayed and healed him.

... more>> The plot, the character development, basically everything, I love it. It's hard to find something like this that can evoke real feelings. It's a very immersive story that will have you laughing and crying.

I do not regret reading this and I know you will not regret reading this too.

If you want to have a taste of sweetness in this bitter world, go ahead and read this book. <<less

I've never cried this much on a book. It's not just tears, I was sobbing. I loved every character and the emotions they had and went through. But the emotions and thoughts ML went through made my heart hurt. I love both ML&FL.

* after reading the first half or less of this I had to find a song for it (if I love a book a lot, I like to find a song for it to have the book associated with the song. So when I listen to the song... more>> a while later I feel the emotions I had reading the book)

I found (my whole life by alina baraz) and this song suits this book so much I feel if I heard it later I'll start crying. <<less

A must read novel.. one of the best that left an impression on me.

To me Peng Qian is one of the best female lead I have read... in the novel there were some situations where I find the MC was treated unjustly for no reason/ wronged:

  1. Dont hate on the girl.. no one can blame a 5 year old to be responsible for an accident that was not understandable by anyone.. in the novel Peng Peng and somewhere her own father held her responsible for it..
  2. I have some reviews where the MC has been termed as a wilful or mean person in the childhood but I never felt it so.. no person of 11-12 year old would be able to respond calmly when their hardwork has been labeled as cheating by their teacher and without any providing any chance to defence urself.. to be excluded by classmates for the same.

I just love the novel.. their characters.. their imperfections..a heart wrenching story u will always remember..u will laugh at their interactions.. smile for them.. cry for them.. feel longing for them to just end their torment..a whole emotional roller coaster ride I ahead of u.. do read the novel...

This is a very good story... I cried so hard that my eyes swollen and I got headache... the storyline will give u heartache but dont worry it worth it.. oh this is not a fantasy-like story, there is no reborn, transmigration, superpower stuff etc... if u like that kind of cliche story this is not for u to read..

A completely heartwarming story. The pacing of the novel was just perfect especially when it came to the romance. I must say that this is a must read story for those who love reading about sweet pure love.
