Average. Like most chinese web novel, sub chara always so sure about their speculation on MC, especially if it is a positive view on MC.

It so s*upid. I mean MC's reputation is garbage, but just because MC didn't do something he usually do, heroine view on MC will jump from negative to positive.

This is why Chinese webnovel + Harem is a bad combination.

Disappointing. It was initially okay, but then turns into a boring mess. The last straw for me is MC finding out one of his girls is a spy for the enemy country, but knows she loves him wholeheartedly because of the "system", yet he refuses to confront her about it so they can resolve the issue. So a bunch of chapters are wasted on indirect approaches and just pure s*upidity. It was never really good, and its lows are bad enough for me to drop it.

This novel desperately needs an editor. The number one reason I hate chinese novels is that the translators can't remember what name they give to people. So many typos. It gets more confusing with nicknames. Also the first name of someone can be the last name of someone else which can be confusing when there are titles.

I wish I could find a mtl for this because I just really wanted to check if the Translator is doing a better job or would just a straight MTL read better than this.

Tho, as already mentioned in another review, you really shouldnt judge this by the quality of the translation, but do know it is really tempting to do so because of how atrocious it is.

... more>> The story is pure romance and drama, there is actually very little action, fantasy or martial arts if any at all.

A breath of fresh air is how tiny a role the 'system' plays. It has always been a belief of me that if you already are a transmigrator, you shouldnt also need a 'system' to aid you, including to those who go back in time/ reincarnate as if that wasnt good enough, you also get this nonsensical system!

anyways, in this novel the system plays an almost negligible role, with the MC even commenting that the number the system shows might as well be worthless. It works differently for each heroine (one of which has wild mood swings which the numbers show, actually more than one heroine does that)

and there is growth in the sense that the MC realizes that hes been treating it as some sort of game to achieve his own means rather than consider the deeper meaning of it which he later starts to do (tho that type of development is pretty predictable in such dating sim type novels, its always a question if its just some game NPC or a real person) with him learning lessons one by one and becoming an actually better person.

As I said, I would even have read the mtl if I could find it. But theres none right now, checked all the top 10 sites like comrade or lnmtl or jpmtl or even readwn.

It is not groundbreaking by any means no, But it is leagues better than the usual tr*sh, plus the impact of any 'system' is minimal which is a breath of fresh air. <<less

While the story does not have much depth, 99% doesn't anyway. The reason I think this novel is pretty good is that it has a light-hearted tone, the characters are interesting and developed better than most stories and the transition is done well.

Before reading you do have to read the tags and genres, read books without a lot of expectations and you will enjoy it. Translators also done a good job with it, the flow is pretty good.

Barely coherent. Filled with irrelevant meaningless sideplots that have no bearing to the story. Don't read if you value your time. If you want to torture yourself and damage your brain, then go ahead.

A light hearted read based on the premise of wooing girls. If that is what you are looking for, it does it better than most chinese novels (not a high bar). MC does not have grander ambitions nor power tripping fantasies like most cultivation novels. The plot is consistent till the point I am reading and stays humours and light. I would recommend reading this if you are bored over power tripping cultivations like I am. The only con is that some of the girls gain affection way too fast... more>> but others are very much worth it

Typical Chinese novel.
The ‘cultivation’ ranking is there, just mumble jumbled.
Dude chicks gain affection too fast

Turn off ur brain cells while reading this because there is no editor cleaning it up.
One should not rate a novel by its shitty translation but the plot and this story is only a 3/5 at most

This story has potential, but I can't say I like it.

The protagonist is basically a playboy or a pick-up artist. He's the type who will do anything and say anything to get a girl's heart, i.e. By hook or by crook (I mean it in terms of behavior and speech, we have yet to find out his moral bottom line). I used to like such stuff when I was a teenager, but now it's not my cup of tea, because I have learned how pointless such means are if you... more>> want the girl to stay in the long term, and how debasing they are as well.
