She becomes interrupted by love, a jealousy inducer, and the female friend of the male lead.

And in addition, she even has an unrequited love with the male lead. It was ruined.

As long as this is the case, let’s just become friends!

It was nice to have the first meeting with such a young male lead…

“Hello, Bouser Youngae (Polite way for noble’s daughter)”

“Uwa!!” You were mistaken for a girl and you cried?

Fortunately, she managed to resolve the misunderstanding and become close friends. However, the male lead in his childhood is more shy and soft-hearted than I thought.

Eventually, she became attached to the male lead and decided to become a real friend.

However, due to the disturbance of the male lead father and the war broke out, we had to be separated for a long time, I thought I could barely meet him again and stay the same as before but….

“Your eyes must have dropped a lot since I didn’t see you. Princess Averine!”

What’s wrong with him again?!

It’s not just that. Rather than getting along, he keeps get into trouble when he has a chance, and most of all, he even bothers my love business!!

Aren’t we just friends?!

From the reviews stated here, I had immense expectations about the novel. That is until the first arc about the MC and ML ended that I decided to drop it.

Spoiler

MC reincarnated as a child after dying from her previous life as a daycare teacher/working at the daycare centre. For first 10 to 12 chapters, she acts fine, matured and smart. But when a problem comes up, where the ML confronts her about her lying to him if her interests, she just shuts down. And then she struggles to explain why, but is never able to actually do it. The problem is that she has always been open and mature about her way of talking, as seen from when she is helping the ML with his food and preferences, but suddenly when this issue about lying that ML confronts her about comes up, she just blanks out as though she never expected it. From here, I would like to empathise that she was ONCE A DAYCARE WORKER AND TOOK CARE OF ACTUAL CHILDREN. She should have been able to understand the ML. The manner in speaking and personality is kind of inconsistent here.

[collapse]

Whats more, the MC's way of handling things is something I cannot handle.

Spoiler

Instead of actually confronting the ML about the misunderstanding, she does it in an extremely roundabout way. She literally had the chance to grab him and tell him what was wrong, but she instead chooses to create a big accident to make him come to her. For what??? Just confront him about it, don't do it in such a s*upid and roundabout way. At this moment, I'm questioning her EQ and whether I should continue the book. So when the two actually sit down and start communicating, she talks as though everything is the ML's fault and she is innocent. I mean, why?? Just go straight to the damn point, stop making up useless and unnecessary information that ML doesn't need to know. Her EQ at this point is just.... Disappointing. All of this could have been solved if the MC just didn't act s*upid.

[collapse]

Its at this point that I realise the MC was not what I expected her to be, and that this kind of behaviour was gonna continue until the book ends. Is the book fluffy? Of course. Is it worth to read? No. There are better novels out there with a better MC and a fluffy story. <<less

I enjoyed the story a lot until FL stopped thinking rationally. What I mean exactly is how foolishly she resolves misunderstandings. She lied to him and instead of saying sorry or to explain why she did what she did, she just stops talking to him, avoids and it all gets 20ch long... Shouldn't she be an adult? I mean yea she is in kids body, but.. shes till and adult...

Yes so we have just another story with FL who cant speak properly what she thinks and IS A CHILD.... more>> I mean at some point I started to think that ML is more mature that FL is..
I have read a lot Korean novel like this, and I already noticed authors tendency to make fls blind, naive, and unable to resolve any misunderstanding in their way. Authors really tries to make them smart but in the end MCs acts like children😐✋.

i already can see how in the future she is blind to ML feelings and will be like, , no way he likes me???😦”

This is a story of two dramatic and over the top children. Her return to the past doesn't do much for the story as her child body and brain mess with her emotions and thinking.

The two kids have fun learn about each other lie and fight with each other. They're really over the top ha ha ha.

I like the novel just don't come in expecting something super serious, also the slow update speed makes it seem like the story drags on but really the story is at a decent pacing.

I found the FL irritating. The story was fine at first, but she just stopped using her brain and totally victimized herself. Like, she was a daycare worker, yet she's so incredibly immature. The miscommunication is just a whole other level of s*upidity and childish. How on earth does a grown adult with EXPERIENCE from taking care of kids come up these schemes and "solutions" that children themselves would come up with? It's ridiculous.

It might've been amusing if it was lighthearted comedy, but it's not. We're supposed to take this... more>> seriously?? Lmao no thanks I'm out <<less

It’s super cute! Just think of Dahlia as a kid her age that’s just a bit more mature for her age, rather than an adult. I actually like that she’s a bit immature and makes schemes like kids do, it makes the story feel so much cuter, like two real childhood friends falling in love!

The amount of nervousness she has dealing with ML as a child is ridiculous.

The story would have been better to make her an actual child instead of reborn as a child, because it is completely unconvincing that she has an adult brain in there. If she were an actual child, the misunderstandings that she lets continue instead of just talking would be understandable (though they might still be annoying). If they gave her a background of having social anxiety, maybe that would make things make some sense also, but the... more>> only time she has issues is in order to make things awkward with the ML so you can't call it a personality trait.

Again and again, she realizes the misunderstanding, then instead of dealing with it in any practical way, she freezes, fails to do much of anything, then comes up with a scheme that might make sense for an actual child, but is beyond annoying when the perspective is supposed to be an adult.

There are parts of the story that are enjoyable and cute, but her interaction with the ML (which is the primary focus of the story) is ruined by her being so caught up in his supposedly being sensitive to the point where she can't act honest with him (despite the story trying to claim she has an honest personality otherwise). It's causing me to stop the story early instead of giving it a proper try. <<less

To summarize it, the earlier chapters are stories with a light plot; about the FL and ML's friendship as a kid. It might be a bit boring for some people as the plot is a peaceful light plot, but as I love to read novels with kids, I find this novel cute and I still enjoy reading through the light plot.

The FL is a straightforward funny type and the ML is shy and timid as a kid. And I found these two so cute together. I just love seeing their... more>> relationship.

And now that I reached the latest updated chp 57, the story has gradually became darker with wars and abuse plots as the main characters are growing and maturing and I felt suspense; I was excited and curious about how the story will fold later! Anyway, overall I still feel this novel as an enjoyable one and decided that it still falls to the category to be recommended as a good read :)

p.s: I will probably come back later to edit my opinion when I progress a lot further to the later chapters. And thank you for the author and the translation team for this novel. I enjoyed reading it~ <<less
