It’s been awhile since I sat down and finished a novel. I did not lose interest at all and the novel is well translated.

we got shameless MC and ML hahaha

I do love eating dog food. I’m sure we all do.

I do love dog blood drama as well!

my favorite arcs are the 1st and 3rd.

this novel is well written and developed. There are some details about side characters left out that I wished we got an update on their status. But other than that 5/5 would recc reading!

I love this QAQ

I haven't read novels in a long time. This is just perfect to welcome me again in this world once again.

Sweet, funny, wholesome, exiting, the interaction between the system and MC is amazing and hilarious, the MC and ML melt ma heart, always full because too much dog food, the slight angst just for the sake of the world's plot and ML blackening hshdhahdh. I love this 🥰🥰🥰

Thanking the author for writing this and the translator for translating this.

The relationship between MC and ML is super cute, it even made me want to fall in love again TwT.

I especially loved the last arc and the third arc because
Spoiler

MC realized that ML experienced everything and that her emotions weren't just a game for her enjoyment.

Dog food reached a whole new level from there.

First of all, I would like to say I'm not good at writing reviews, but I'll just be honest and try my best with words.

I loved this story; I've had this novel hanging around for quite a while and only decided to start reading it a few days ago, truthfully, I didn't have a lot of expectations for this novel I believed it was going to one of those typical QT but really it wasn't

I loved our MC who wasn't some weak shou like every other story and had his... more>> own personality, our wonderful ML was also different from the usual. Their interactions were quite cute although in some world (s) (Apocalyptic) it was a bit creepy, but we got through it and the relationship still turned out well. I would also like to mention our wonderful systems, 25 and 0, from all the systems I've seen these two are the best so far (Mainly 25 because I don't know 0 that well and there isn't much to go off about him, lol).

I think one of the main reasons I kept reading the story and why a lot of people gave 3-star reviews is because of the OOC (out of character) prompt that MC would get when playing a character. As people have mentioned this is a game/system to help the MC get a boyfriend- so it was strange and probably annoying that the MC couldn't act like himself, saying that the love between the MC and ML is fake because it's not his actual personality.

Going back to the reason for me- I didn't exactly understand the start of the story as we kind of just popped right into it and glossed over a bit more of an introduction. Then again that is probably my fault for not going back and reading it again to understand but I also think that because of this I was able to complete the story in the end. My thoughts just went along with the story not really questioning too much- not even the OOC part.

I felt this story was actually quite sweet with a little bit of fluff and that if you can get over the OOC part or just practically ignore and not understand like me you will actually love this novel quite a bit. Once you reach the end certain things will become more clear- actually it gets clearer as the story goes on because MC is smart and shows a strong ability to think about matters that I certainly wouldn't even consider.

The novel flowed well in my opinion, (then again, I'm just biased because this is what I like) I didn't feel that it dragged out for too long and everything went at a reasonable speed. The relationship building between the MC and ML was interesting to read about and I found myself enjoying the story more and more as I read on. Although they got together rather quickly and had a strong bond it didn't feel rushed and worked with the story. (That last sentence wasn't really a complaint I just felt that the relationship between our main characters developed quickly and quite smoothly with just the occasional goosebumps along the way. STILL BIASED BTW)

(PS - I will mention that there were a couple of times when I got to the start of a new world and as I started reading, I began to feel bored, but after pushing through I realized that it wasn't boring and that it just felt that way because there wasn't a lot happening at the time it just dragged on slightly longer than I thought it would. Any who the story was cute, I like it and you can't change my opinion- that's all!) <<less

Not usually a fan of QT, but this one kept coming up on the recommendations, so I caved and finally read it.

Unlike most QT, I felt that each world was detailed and engaging. Each arc felt like its own true story, not just a world to get through.

The gore and brutalness of the ghost and zombie world threw me at first, but I think the ghost world was probably my favorite. Which is weird because I love zombie stories and usually not a fan of ghost horror.

Probably my only complaint... more>> is the real world part at the end was too short. I didn't want a long drawn out drama, but maybe a little more fluff. Not to mention poor mom didn't get any screen time.

The 2 systems were cute, not overly evil or annoying. It was sad that the authors limited their screen time in the last few arcs.
Spoiler

I also wanted to know about their wedding and zerozero's appearance

Translation was great, thank you to them!

All in all I really liked this novel and I can see me reading it again in a couple of years. <<less

Loved it. I kept on putting it off cuz of the summary but honestly I really enjoyed it. My least favourite arc was the xianxia arc which was also the last one but that's just my preference. Overall really enjoyed it.

Not bad for a Quick Transmigration novel! Some QTs have a tendency toward being repetitive or lacking in character development, but this has a very distinct development on the MC's end, so it's particularly satisfying, even if some areas are a bit draggy (it's not to an extreme point.) The main premise of this novel is that the MC (Qin Lang) is forced into a 'dating game' by his mother. As someone part of a futuristic, interstellar world, the technology is very advanced. Advanced enough to allow people to experience... more>> different worlds. The MC is sent into said worlds with one mission: To Fall in Love~ Specifically, to fall in love with the ML and get the ML to love him in turn. Also, the ML is his target each time (so, don't worry, this is 1v1!) As for the different worlds.... here's a sneak peak (beware of minor spoilers)

Minor Spoilers:

  • Spoiler
    • Arc 1: Modern Day - Rich, second generation MC that bullies the poor ML with a mysterious background.
    • Arc 2. Entertainment Circle - Pitiful low-tier star MC that has been married to the film-emperor MC for five years but is unappreciated because of a white moonlight.
    • Arc 3: Supernatural - Ghost Master MC and fierce-ghost!ML.
    • Arc 4: Zombie Apocalypse - Zombie!MC and dark-ability-user!ML.
    • Arc 5: Interstellar / Beast-companion - Disabled-Gong!MC and Scheming-Demonic-Fox!ML.
    • Arc 6: Xianxia - Uncle-Master!MC and Demon-Disciple!ML.
    [collapse]
All in all, it was a good read~ I didn't expect to like it so much, and even avoided it for a time because of the vague summary. I wasn't sure what to expect at all T.T But it turned out to be a lot of fun. The translation is good as well, so there's nothing to complain about~

CHARACTERS: 8.5/10

As mentioned, one of the things I like about this novel is that there is clear character development for the MC while he's worldhopping, which is rare in QTs. Outside of this, there's usually some complexity behind the ML as well. The side-characters are a bit of a hit-or-miss, but that's to be expected because of the length of the different arcs.

Qin Lang (MC)

Aloof, Overbearing CEO in real life, but his mental activity is pretty lively LOLOL. He's a great actor, and the different worlds demand that he stays mostly in character, so he displays quite a few personalities.

ML

The name of the ML changes in every world, and his real name isn't very important~ So let's just call him the ML! His personality is a lot more... *thinking-face* coquettish? I'm thinking LBH from SVSSS. He knows how to play, basically. He's not all that serious. At least, not when he's with his lover.

ROMANCE: 8.5/10

As a QT, the romance is pretty quick each time, but there's still a distinct romantic development for the MC over time, which I appreciated. It's nothing super special, but it's definitely a lot better than the shotgun romance in most QTs! (Oh, and I like all the different romance dynamics in the different arcs~ The main CP plays different personality types in each one, so the romance development is a bit different each time).

SETTING: 6/10

The different worlds are not super unique, and they lack proper set-up in some areas. OR, better yet, the author doesn't really spend a lot of time developing the setting (not even the setting in the real world). The novel suffers a bit because of this, but not too much. I mean, in the end, it's not as important as the overall plot~

PLOT: 8/10

For plot, it's not all that different from most QTs. But, counting the character development, I still think that it's a lot better than most. As such, I decided to give it a higher score than I would have normally~

RATING: 3.88/5

Although I can't say that it's perfect, it kept my interest 90% of the time -- which is rare. I give up on most QT novels after the first arc~ So, the fact that it kept me interested until the end is very commendable, even if I skimmed some of the arcs (specifically, I think it was the second arc and the last arc LOLOL. Those two arcs, didn't interest me as much. While my favorite had to have been the 3rd arc?) <<less

I quite liked this book, but the main couple were a bit too inconsiderate I thought. In many of the stories, there's a really good second male lead who has a miserable end just because they happen to love the MC (for no explicitly stated reason). I found myself disliking the last arc immensely because the abuse of the second male lead.

Otherwise, I thought the stories were interesting and fleshed out. The MC didn't really have a consistent character because he had to act "in character". This sometimes made it... more>> feel like his character wasn't very stable. <<less

Not an especially groundbreaking QT, but pretty good as is.

I like clever MCs; this one is very good at "creating drama" and plotlines and figuring out ways to get around the OOC limit.

The worlds were pretty engrossing to read about.

The final reasoning for the source of the QT was quite unique as well.

Spoiler

Especially when you learned that it was MC's brain damage that caused him to be unable to express feelings in the real world.

Overall good read just didn't enjoy the last arc + ending. If you don't like an arc, recommend to just skip since other than some foreshadowing the arcs aren't connected.

The revelation about how ML and MC met in the past was also really confusing.
Spoiler

In short, MC got into a car accident when he was 18 which put him in a coma. When he was in a coma, his brainwaves synced with the VR project that ML was working on. In the VR project, ML is the one doing the attacking, and his mission target was an 18 yr old rich kid who ended up being the MC because of the brain sync. And because ML had to die when he successfully conquered MC, MC was traumatised and had amnesia. Which led to the whole plot in C1

[collapse]

The ending was also really bad. At that point, you can tell the author just wanted to end the story. And it disappoints me that ML fell in love at first sight.

I love this so much. It's new for me (at least the reason for transmigrating lmao)

and the arcs themselves are amusing. So far my fave is the second arc? I mean I love some good angst (even though its fake on the side of the MC since he has the system) but still I love how gut wrenching everything is even though its cliche hihi.

i also love how the MC immerses himself to the characters so that even though he is pretty OP sometimes the narration makes u think... more>> that he's not and he's feeling every emotion that the og body feels. This is also because he's not allowed to be OOC so I really love reading it

I love the backstory of the ML too, it's sad and so romantic at the same time <<less

The stories each time are the basic QT stuff, including xianxia and zombies with a couple more unusual ones, and they're actually quite entertaining and well written. The goal each time is more or less to fix the original goods' bitter wishes and to get together with the target, which is also basic but good.

The only issue is - there is no transitions. Each time, the end of the arc is the most jarring I've ever seen in any novel. In the first three or so arcs there is no... more>> ending at all, or any description of how things went after hitting favourability of 100 - between one sentence and next the MC is in the new arc, sometimes within the same paragraph. Quite often it takes a couple sentences to even realize the switch happened. In the later arcs the transition is at least the start of a new chapter, but there is still a serious lack of any explanation or description or anything like a lead-in or warning or signal; it just happened somewhere behind the screens and now you're in a new story, bye.

Despite the jarring transitions between each arc and the somewhat lackluster ending, this isn't a bad novel, though. Each arc is pretty immersive and at least kept me entertained up to the very abrupt ending. Reading this, considering how there was no closure each time, I always felt rather reluctant to move on to the next arc, but if you try to treat them all as stand alone stories or as next in a series of novels, they still do just fine as reading.

Hopefully you can give this story a chance; the rating is a bit on the low side for this site, so while I'd normally rate it a solid 4 or 3.5, I'll boost it to equalise with some other stories that are too overrated. <<less

Really good entertaining read. Each arc have it’s unique story and quite refreshing too. I love qt, and read quite alot of it. This even same cline plots, but the stories obviously quite different hence I really like it. There’s are 2 system helping our MC here and they are both very funny and and very “harmonious “ human type system. I would say read till the, you will love each arcs. Thank you

Quite decent. I kinda agree w a review that this is an above average QT. At first I didn't agree bec I felt there was nothing special abt this and the writing style is quite ordinary. However, as the arcs went on, I realized that the author is good at creating characters, especially the villains and side characters.

Ofc, it could've been better as there were some plot points that could've been elaborated. But I'm giving it a 5 to equalize the ratings. I feel a 4.0 is too low.

Ahhh I made the mistake of binge-reading because I thought translation was complete!

Rating is purely for the MC, I love him. So shameless, dramatic but can be quite sincere with his lover. I don't normally go for quick transmigrations but I did enjoy reading all the arcs, especially with MC's narrations.

Curious to see how this ends!

... more>> ____

EDIT 24/08/22: Finished. I'll keep the rating as is but really for the comedic value. I just love the interaction between MC and his system (s), and his own internal narrations about the arc he's in. I loved that he was introduced as a '2m long, aloof president' but his personality really says otherwise haha. It's a shame that all the characters he plays in all the arcs are your typical shous. Bonus points for MC's system having his own wife-gong system hahaha. <<less

This quick wear/world hopping novel can be considered at least above average amongst the world hopping novels I have read thus far and I have read a lot. It's up to standard.

The MC is smart and I don't mind his manipulative nature. What I did mind, however, was how his personality suddenly changed in the last world arc. Before that he felt pretty levelheaded. But he suddenly became skin hungry and full of yellow thoughts towards the ML, a stark contrast to the world before that. If the personality... more>> development had been more gradual, it wouldn't have bothered me as much.

The plot in general was good, entertaining enough. The pace was fast, but not too fast. The end also had a little twist which I appreciate.

So yeah, I guess, I would recommend this novel to quick wear/world hopping novel enthusiasts.

On a side note, my opinion might be a bit biased because I had just dropped a world hopping novel because the MC was annoying and the pacing was whack. So having that as a contrast, this novel might have appeared in a more positive light than it would have without the contrast. <<less

I hope the rest of the story would keep being great and deserve the 5 stars that I gave now. I hope this novel won't give me a chance to make it lose a star or two.

Anyway, it was rather Enjoyable story so far. The 1st arc was really good. We can see how MC calculate all his Action and others' action pretty well. So far nothing surprise him. But he does grown fond of ML and he mentioned that. The 2nd arc, I still haven't finish so I don't... more>> know the whole story, but so far he still pretty smart and calculated everything. He's also a Great Actor, everything the story describe the pov of the character he played, my heart ache!!! But also makes me want to laugh, because imagine him thinking 'this is what this world QL would do and feel' and the author wrote his feelings as if he really feel that, man.....

MC is also smart, he was suspicious of things and he still slowly testing his theory. It was rather vague until we actually get reaction from the Systems or when MC's thought was written by the author.

I also Love the idea with having 2 Systems. And they're also the Side CP! So far, I love them. Hope they won't grow annoying and we will get their whole story in the extras or mentioned alot without stealing the light of Main CP. #pray

Please please continue the translation... 🙏🙏🙏 im curious how it would end. <<less

Spoiler

R^pe, roofies/drugging, coercion, s//cide, anti-fat rhetoric, vomiting (from heatstroke)

[collapse]

The following discusses the above content more in-depth.

Spoiler

The r^pe tagged in the description occurs between the MC and the ML, though a cannon fodder attempts it on MC. The MC himself calls it that, but it's also written like it's consensual nonconsent play... but also, it's not like they ever discuss it, so even if MC is into that sort of thing, it's not great that ML (who isn't even fully blackened) does that. A lot of "the mouth says no, but the body is honest, " which is pretty yikes -- those physiological responses can occur regardless of desire.

Other readers might argue that it's unfair to deduct points over this when the NU description is tagged r^pe. I'm ok with it as a story element, but I really dislike it when it's romanticized or is initiated by the MC or ML. A lot of enjoyable BLs have ambiguous consent between the main couple, but like... ML wasn't even fully blackened before he started pulling some real horror thriller shenanigans. Like, the dude forced MC to stay with him because the MC's other choice of roommate had previously tried to assault him. Sir, with that kind of love, who needs Jigsaw?

[collapse]

The second arc's introduction was also iffy, since the MC uses a system drug to make himself desirable and then tries to coerce the ML into sleeping with him... the backstory of the OG goods and ML is also gross, with OG goods holding ML's mother's life and health hostage. This is all within the first 3 chapters of arc 2 (or Chapter 25) if you're concerned about if these are spoilers. Real slag shou moments. Of course, I barely read this arc, so maybe it redeems itself later...?

From what it looks like from other readers, the overarching story is good, but I would avoid the story if you're unsure because of any of the content warnings I listed in this review. <<less

Thanks for the hard work translating~

I really enjoyed this novel it was a 9/10 for me I usually don't like QT world hopping novels, but I got curious after seeing some people talk about it and hearing about the warm corpse arc which actually lived up to the hype.

overall, this was short and sweet there was some arcs that I didn't like but it still kept me entertained and I wasn't bored at all throughout the whole novel.

I also really like the MC thought process and how he changed bit... more>> by bit most people didn't like it so if you don't like scheming shous then this isn't for you.

now that this is over, I just feel empty and Bittersweet after finishing and want more definitely going to reread later.

Spoiler

I'm a bit sad though we didn't get much closure on the mother I guess I wanted to see them talk to her again. And I wanted to see the side couple 00 and 25 get more on their back story but it was wrapped up enough That its kind of satisfactory
