Shen Jue: Wait, aren’t you the protagonist shou?

Hearthrob *sneering*: We all have the same parts, so who’s to say I have to be the bottom?

This novel is tragic, not in a sad sense but in more of the “oh, damn” sense. There will be no happy endings for any of the arcs until we reach the end.

MC is a pretty static character. He stays true to his purpose, unwavering, cold blooded, brutal. It’s understandable because he treats the worlds as something not real and the people involved are just characters to him.

I thought MC will end up with someone else that he mentioned, and I had a backstory of how that possible ML was... more>> becoming the realm master target. But I was wrong. There is chemistry between them, but there is not a good reason for why there is chemistry, you know? And with MC’s personality it was kinda confusing, but at the same time I could make mental gymnastics to understand why.

overall, I enjoyed it. There are better novels than this one, on the website, but this one worth a shot for the right audience. <<less

Wow... THIS IS WHAT I CALL A GOOD NOVEL, WOW. I can't believe I've finished this till the end... so satisfying.

I LOVE THIS NOVEL to the point of madness. I WON'T BE ABLE TO FIND ANYTHING AS BLOODY AND SATISFYING AS THIS IN MY LIFE.

I'm starting to think that besides from being a potential psychopath, I'm also a masochist slash sadist. This novel and the MC and all the mls literally gouge out my heart and smashed it into pieces but like a desperate drug addict, I still can't... more>> help being mesmerized by the story and reading till all my seven orifices starts releasing blood.

OPINIONS

Spoiler

As a full time scum abuse enthusiast that collects various tragic and angsty bl novels, I guarantee the quality of the product and consumer satisfaction for both m and s. I ensure that the consumer would experience the most bloody and pleasurable or**sm from the tragedy of the story. Not only would the consumer feel the outmost despair and pain of the ML and MC, you would also lose the last remaining humanity in your heart and start the journey to being a villain that wants to destroy the world the characters live in:))

[collapse]

ALSO... AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO FELT THAT THE MC IS TOO KIND? People say he's heartless, cruel and cold... but if you observe clearly... HE'S ONLY CRUEL TO THOSE WHO WRONGED HIM.

Spoiler

Speaking of those who abused him AKA the MLs, Shen Jue didn't have deep emotions after regaining his memories. At first, you'll think it's because he's originally an immortal and that's his personality and he originally doesn't understand mortal emotions... then I started to realize that it seemed to not be the case. The MC DID SUFFER and FELT REAL EMOTIONS towards the MLs in previous lives whether it's hatred, love, care, betrayal, hope, despair... He Felt those REAL emotions before regaining his memories. After that, he seemed to only be SET ON KILLING THEM as revenge... But I still felt that if it's revenge... what he's doing is NOT CRUEL ENOUGH and he doesn't seem to CARE AT ALL as long as he can kill them. So I started thinking, there seemed to be no satisfaction for the mc's side, how is it revenge?

[collapse]

I don't know if the MC just really doesn't care anymore or IF HE REALLY DID CARE BUT DECIDED TO GIVE UP ON HIS EMOTIONS BECAUSE IT WAS TOO PAINFUL.

Spoiler

The trauma of being betrayed by his loved ones, the despair of being abandoned and the embarrassment of being humiliated (raped, yes he was, not by the MLs), YES all of these were experiences in one scenario or another in the PREVIOUS lives without his memories. HE TRULY LIVED for some of the MLS and cared for them. His hoped was crashed when HE CARED AND TRIED TO WORK SO HARD JUST TO DIE IN THE MOST INSIGNIFICANT AND PAINFUL WAY. It was fine if he didn't care... but the fact that HE ONCE HOPED to receive love from one of the MLs, it killed my heart.

[collapse]

IT WAS ALREADY TOO LATE... Every single f*cking time... When Shen Jue doesn't want "THIS CARE" anymore... They will start BEING KIND, LOVING HIM AND APPRECIATING HIS EXISTENCE AND DYING FOR HIM...

Spoiler

But in my mind "SO WHAT?". It's really laughable for me and I asked myself "I wonder how they'll react once they find out that they could have easily get the MC if only they treated him with just a little bit of care and kindness from their previous lives."

[collapse]

THE MC is not cruel nor was he heartless. HE'S KIND and reciprocates kindness, even towards the mortals.

Spoiler

He doesn't look down on them and doesn't even want unrelated and innocent people to be implicated by his "revenge". Imagine being reincarnated over and over again just to live in the most painful way and die in the most painful way as well. The worst thing is not the physical torture but the trauma and despair directly or indirectly implicated by the MLs whom he once cared for or hoped to receive care from...

How can the MC remain calm after regaining his memories? How could the MC still say "sorry" after hurting one of the MLs, when obviously, they've done much worse to him in previous lives?

[collapse]

Call me cruel, BUT I REALLY DO THINK THE MLS in each arc didn't suffer enough.

Spoiler

Ok, they suffered physically, were exhausted and treated coldly by the MC... they were sometimes filled with guilt, but this guilt is very shallow since it only came from THIS "LIFETIME" when the MC regained his memories. It was so unfair for the MC who suffered several lifetimes without his original memories... The MC suffered and developed trauma even if he looks calm and cold now, he does have emotions. THE MLS are killed almost immediately everytime. How about that time when the MC was tortured and r*ped before dying and his mutilated corpse was thrown to the ML but the ML didn't even look and just said he doesn't eat corpses? THE MLS WILL GET KARMA WHEN SHEN JUE STARTS HIS MISSION TO KILL THEM. They will indeed fall in love and suffer from the pain of falling in love but not getting love. They will feel betrayal from the MC or even sadness from knowing the MC wanted to kill them. BUT SO WHAT ? They still died IMMEDIATELY. NO TORTURE, NO HUMILIATION, JUST DYING RIGHT THEN AND THERE. Ok, they'll feel extreme despair by being killed by the person they love or being killed and not being with the MC anymore... BUT THEIR CORPSE WAS STILL IN TACT and THEY DIDN'T EVEN SUFFER FROM TORTURE. They weren't r*ped, they weren't humiliated, and they didn't die in vain, because some assumed it's "for the mc", "I deserve to die", "it's ok I'm happy as long as I can make you (mc) happy", "I'll die for you" "I'll die with you". In other words, although in pain, it's not the SAME DESPAIR THE MC FELT AND ITS NOT THE SAME SEVERENESS. THEY'RE STILL SOMEHOW CONTENTED ONE WAY OR ANOTHER LOL.

Let the MLs get r*ped, then I would change my mind, otherwise, they don't deserve a quick death at all

[collapse]

ENDING

Spoiler

I couldn't think of anything more FITTING for this... Even though, yes, I hate the ML, still hate, and forever will, no matter how much he suffered, suffers or will suffer... But I want the MC to be happy. Really happy, with his kid and someone who truly and forever be there to care and love him wholeheartedly. So yeah, I continued reading the "with pairing" ending and although I'm still in pain and can't move on from the suffering...I still love it to the point of madness...

This novel is worth every second I spent reading it. Every arc could be its own novel even without being part of a whole, each with its own detailed story, world-building, and distinct characters with their own distinct personality traits that make them memorable. The only constant through all the arcs is the MC and his suffering. His despair, self-loathing and self-abandonment are so tangible which makes it all the more heart-wrenching, his low and tragic moments and the end of most of the arcs left me feeling suffocated and... more>> depressed with my chest feeling heavy, wanting to cry but unable to, bcs the MC was still holding on and moving on despite it all, even if he felt like stopping at moments he was still forced to keep on going, whenever he remembered that it was all fake, and that his master was still waiting for him, he picked himself back up and regained some hope and will to see it through till the end. Through the arcs the novel seems to express, though subtly, that disappointement and betrayal only exist where there was hope and expectations initially. I loved the MC and understood his struggles and even empathized with him in some instances. Loved every bit of the characterization and storytelling. Concerning the ML, in some arcs some MLs I sympathized with, some I pitied, some I loathed, and some I felt delighted at their pain, the MLs are all distinguichable which I appreciate, and my feelings towards them vary greatly, I loved the variation of their traits and characterization, I loved each arc that brought me into the story more, and made me love it more. However, the end is unexpected but also somehow not that surprising, but I gotta say the fluff and healing at the end surely was a delightful surprise. Though I actually somehow pity the cause of all this tragedy, he doesn't seem to be purely evil himself even somewhat pitiful. <<less

Alright I just finished arc one and all I can say is I'm bored. Now I am not writing this just to say that, I am writing this bc I find it kinda s*upid so far. Like literally that only thing I loved about that arc was that the MC isn't afraid to kill these protagonists nor is he affected by their 'love' for him; that's literally all that I liked. Other than that this whole entire arc was unnecessarily long! Like seriously why was the point of half of... more>> any of the things added in the story if the whole entire story was already written in a way that people already know what's happening next? Plus most of the things/plot lines where just so useless.

Also the most annoying and frustrating this is that this kid had six years to learn how to fight so that he can at least have a plan B ready and guess what he did?? Well that's the thing, he did nothing! He basically took it for granted that it will be easy to kill these protagonists so he didn't even bother to make a plan to also protect himself while doing so and for that he spent about three or more months suffering for nothing... That wouldn't teach his idiotic brain anything, he should have suffered longer at that point to understand that he should always have a way to protect himself no matter what bc otherwise he will just be increasing the years he will have to suffer under that unfair/disgusting 'punishment' he got just bc he said no.

Overall I'm bored and annoyed by our apparently 'clever' MC and hope that at some point in the next arcs, he learns to at least have a more efficient brain and just kill these protagonists quickly and get on with his life cuz otherwise his brain cells will also disappear like the two protagonists in arc one. <<less

I f*ckING LOVE IT. I LOVE THE DEEP, SEETHING SCORN OF THE MC. Like another reviewer said, its brutal. That's why I love it. The MC is indifferent to the feelings of all characters in his world hopping which is also my style. Reason 2: The worlds have aftermath stories after the interference of the MC. I hate those who just leave it blank after the world hop, it leaves a bad taste. The aftermath stories are also varied in supernatural phenomenon. Reason 3: World hops but NO SYSTEM or... more>> GOLDEN FINGER cheats. He is reliant only to himself to finish his mission.

THE ONLY BL THAT GIVES ME PASSION. ESPECIALLY ONE THAT FILLS MY SADISTIC WISHES. No BL has tasted as delicious. It doesn't have to be sweet to be delicious, nor as delicious enough with the tragedy.

One thing to note: The ending has confused me because I have long forgotten the characters of the MC's real life. And its not to my liking: abrupt and average. Despite this, the world hopping stories made me love it to disregard this piece. <<less

1. Very psychological, especially on the MC's part! Be warned.

[collapse]
😱... Very dark.

3. Onorthodox MC as compared to other transmigrational novels. MC is living on sheer hatred and will.
Spoiler

Yes, MC had killed ML directly and in-directly in all the arcs but remember, this is MC's 2nd time around in these realities. ML was pretty much an a-hole to MC and had also directly or in-directly killed the the MC, too. Whereas with the MC, ML died for and in love, the MC died, humiliated, betrayed, and shamed in the most unbearable of ways.

[collapse]

All in all, while I would had liked some lovey dovey stuff, I was fine with how it went down. A thousand years of miserable, humiliating reincarnations, because MC retaliated after being drugged by some selfish twat with a powerful "dad" who couldn't take a rejection. I understand the futility and rage MC felt when he was saying that the strong will always step on the weak.

MC had always been devoted to cultivation and never understood love, thusly having an aloof and indifferent personality. It had been made clear at the beginning, so why some readers would automatically assume that it would be different when the MC is struggling in each arc with an ML that had been nothing but scum worthy in his first time around, is beyond me. These aren't pleasure reincarnations, these are reincarnations MC had to break in order to return to his reality.

Therefore the ending, for me, felt abrupt and rushed.
Spoiler

That through ML's persistent, MC suddenly accepts that their fates were intertwined and becomes tsundere-ish with the ML and accepts being touched by him, whereas in all the arcs, he had positively loathed any and every touch, makes me feel like the resolution to their relationship is shallow and unfulfilling with no psychological setbacks. Although I did quite like the multiple individuals of the ML, I would had enjoyed it better if the author had at least shown how the MC came to accept all of them even if reluctantly

[collapse]

So readers be forewarn! Read the tags and go in understanding there is barely any lovey dovey sweet moments or even any spicy actions (It's all fade to black), and that the MC is indifferent to love, and the ML in each life deserved one good stabbing in return. Also remember that everyone is not all good or all bad.
Spoiler

Even that twat. Even if he had an unfortunate past, the decision he made was s*upid, selfish, and deserving of the initial beat down the MC gave. That the MC was punished in the way he had was grossly unfair and I approve of his revenge.

This is unique and a chef's kiss. I can say from all of the quick transmigrations that I've read this one is my number 1 favorite. Once you all read this, at least try the beginning chapter and you will not notice that you are already on the ending chapter.

I am a QT enthusiasts, and just with the plot of each arc I'd give this story 5/5 but the at the ending the chemistry between the MC and ML in their original world was really lame compared to all the build up expectations from all the arcs. It's not wrong to say the ending was too abrupt, so I take 1⭐ away and give 4/5. If it have 2 or 3 more chapters showing the MC warming up to ML 5/5 is for sure.

Main plot : MC was punished... more>> to be torment in an endless cycle of reincarnation but with the help of his master, he have the chance to break away from these cycle of punishment and avenge himself. To break free from the circle MC have to go back to the plane where he reincarnated and kill the owner of the plane (protagonist of the world he reincarnated in) but he have to make the owner of the plane willingly die for him.

Unsurprisingly the owners of those plane are the reincarnation/splitting soul of ML who was originally from MC's world who like MC was trapped in the cycle of reincarnation. In some world the ML's soul was split into two— the owner of the plane and his lover.

In the original trajectory of the planes each reincarnation of MC either falls in love with the owner of the plane or his lover and ends up dying with his feelings unrequited. But after the MC's reincarnation awakened the owner of the plane or his lover or both ends up falling in love with MC and willingly die for him.

Arcs review:

  • Each arcs is a BE, there's no relief but the angst from each arcs hit different.
  • The arcs are unique and it's clear the author is really giving their all with each world built.
  • There's extras for some arcs, and personally these little extras are the real gems.
  • The arcs are not repetitive and each arcs have an unique charm.
Characters review :

  1. MC— He is has a clear goal and he is dead set on getting to his goal, which for me makes him one of the best MC in QT genre. Even though he have to follow different character settings in the planes, his real self can still be seen.
    Spoiler

which makes it even more sad when reading the MC's thought. He even acknowledge that he have changed because of his thirst for revenge

    [collapse]
He's vicious and doesn't show mercy, even to himself. He is not an affectionate person nor is he without any emotions, many times he shows complexity.
  2. ML— The usual devoted lover. His personality depends on the plane but each reincarnation of the ML is not repetitive, sometimes he's an arrogant bastard, a black belly, or just an ordinary guy trying to survive.
Overall, this story is brutal down to it's core. Even the story of the guy who is the reason of MC's and ML's suffering is sad. The MC doesn't love the ML at once even after he knows the the owners of the planes was ML which makes their chemistry in the original kinda awkward and seemed forced. It messed up the ending making it rushed and abrupt <<less

I'm dropping this. It's a very well written story, that's why I'm giving it 5 🌟, but it's not for me. The MC is more like a villain. He kills people without any feelings. I feel sorry for the MLs and other characters that he killed. 😞

This one is really fun to read, and the twist of killing the ML after the MC makes him fall in love is nice, but I feel like the arcs drag on too long to give it 5 stars. It's only the second world so far and it's 70 chapters in! The MC has an interesting personality and the ML acts out enough for me to feel justified in rooting for the MC to kill him. Its too heave for me. And base in other reviews the other arcs would also contain negative feelings. The plot is not predictable and will make you think what will happened next... About the MC. It's hard for me to get angry to him, but its also hard for me to approve to his actions. I'm in confusion right now.

I won't give it a rating because I didn't finish it. But recommended to the people who have strong heart and able to control their emotions and reasoning. Good luck and... more>> Enjoy reading! :) <<less

The extras left me with a bitter taste because I really seemed to despise this “ML”.

His ending should have been leaving the MC and the kid together alone peacefully while he goes whatever made him happy. (My wishful thinking)

I should have listened to this one reviewer who already stated to being satisfied with the original ending but being myself I still felt the need to keep going and ended up ruining my whole mood by reading it till the end.

Anyway’s it was better than that of QWTFOD even though... more>> both were having same genre I guess it depends and vary from author to author on the terms of writing. <<less

If you were to forced to live your life in a continuous and vicious cycle, would you still have the courage to love?

The context of the story is very cruel and brutal. (Don't let the summary of this book trick you into thinking this is a lighthearted novel, because it definitely isn't!) Because of the situation that MC is in and the decisions he chose are morally questionable, some reviewers may think that the MC is naturally a coldblooded person to start off with. This is far from the truth.... more>> Read carefully (especially the few beginning chapters) and you will realize what a softhearted person the MC was before. This just makes the MC's transformation and experience heartbreaking (but memorable) to read. The situation and the countless reincarnations really had a toll on MC's psyche, but he DID have attachments to some of the ML. (ML also did a good job recognizing MC's broken self and help him on a journey of recovery--which really touched my heart)

I will not summarize the plot, as many previous reviewers already made wonderful reviews about them (so please reference the review "rhea4765" wrote if you are confused about what I am referring to). That aside, let's dive into my review:

BEWARE SPOILERS....

What I liked:

  • The author really understands the trending topic areas/genres: There are so many arches that are popular with Chinese drama watchers (I am certainly one myself), and many arches that are adapted from the Western folklore. I can't think of any major Chinese genre that is not somehow weaved into the arches. Also, none of the arches boring because the author always manages to sneak in major details that livens up the arch (it almost seems like it is a blend between different genres)
  • Relationship and hierarchy is clearly present: Again, the author knows what they are doing. Relationships between people sets the mood. Doing it correctly draws in the readers.
  • The author paces the story: Some arches are heavy and others are more lively. This allows the story to balance the mood and not the readers away.
  • Parallel universe: Could the story have ended differently? Yes, and I appreciate the author giving us a glimpse of how things COULD have been for many of the sad endings. (It really allowed me to feel a sense of closure so that I can move on with a lighter heart to the next arch)
What I didn't like:

  • The ending feels a little all over the place. (That said though, the ending made sense.)
  • Some of the characters are fickle---like REALLY fickle (Read the novel and you will see what I mean)
My favorite arches:

  • Arch 1 - Ancient China: Okay, this is probably the most depressing arch of this whole story. (The story gets less depressing and brutal after this arch.) BUT the hierarchy and character dynamics were well flushed out. It really made me feel like I can see the story like a live action movie in my head.
  • Arch 4 - Apocalypses: The ML in this arch is different from the previous MLs because he was super dedicated to the MC after he got into a relationship. This is one of the few chapters that the MC was actually unable or outrightly kill the ML. I believe this is the first time he received and learned to love.
  • Arch 6 - Spiritual Beast / Taoism: Okay, the squirrel is simply too cute. Because of this weird character, MC went on a wild roll-coaster ride (figuratively). It is probably the most lighthearted arch in this novel, so it was really enjoyable.
  • Arch 7 - ABO modern/Movie King: Like Arch 4, the ML dies of an accident and not in the hands of the MC. Again, the ML's death really made me sad because MC had to break up again with the person that (yes he did) give his love to.
Last comments:

  • MC says he doesn't need or understand love, but he clearly learned in through his reincarnations. (Special shot out to MLs of Arch 4 and 7 for helping him! Without them, I think the MC might have really broken down.)
  • Read the story and look for MC's struggles to find and understand love. You will definitely read this story in a different light and find it to be more enjoyable. :)

I loved it. The characters and stories were deep and thought through, a lot of angst and tragedy, a lot of brital (?) love, but it's a HE overall.

Good sh*t 👍

Spoiler

my only wish is that the MC learned to love through these experiences a little more obviously. But from his thoughts at the end of every arc we can only see that he is more and more convinced that love is vain and counterproductive (?). I know that he stil accepts the ML in the end, but he seems seven points unwilling : (

i didn't know that I would get so attached to the characters????? My heart is still stuck on murong xie lololol

i LOVE how the MC is completely ruthless, but not emotionless. He has people he cares about but he doesn't have room in his heart for love. He doesn't even feel pity, he doesn't show any sign of genuine happiness, since he has to kill he'll do it no matter who the person is or what they say. Even to people who are good to him, he only sees as... more>> pawns. But he has a good reason for it. He's basically been constantly tortured through the cycle of reincarnation for the past thousand years and he's numb through and through. BUT! He doesn't stay this way for the entire novel. Soon enough, even his hard shell begins to becoming more fragile.

i also LOVE LOVE LOVE the characterization. There are so many yandere characters in thjs novel lmao but I eat it up every time. The transition from innocent to possessive, WHEW, yu qing does it so well. And the DIALOGUE IS SO GOOD:
Spoiler

the first time shen jue killed murong xie that scene was absolutely heartbreaking.

[collapse]
and there are so many well done situations and dynamics here. Not every character is perfect and they're all incredibly flawed, including MC. They have dimension too. It's super interesting to feel like the gong is kinda scummy, then he's sweet for a while, then he's scummy again.

also lemme just mention that I love the shou-turned-gong trope here.
Spoiler

how the beloved shou gets blackened around the MC is hot sorry but yu qing being described as a pale innocent beauty and then for shen jue he joins the military comes back tan and rugged as hell. And he turns from shou to masochistic gong. And the way he tells shen jue not to marry bc he'll kill whoever he ends up marrying. Bro even made a soul promise to never betray him and devote himself to him. Listen I love messed up characters and yu qing is just. Terribly appealing

[collapse]

Spoiler

arc 3 was absolutely PERFECT. Just when shen jue's actions began to test my limits. It was a modern arc and different from the historical arcs from before. In this arc the theme of killing the realm master was less prevalent and focused more on the characters, so much so that I completely forgot that he had a mission to accomplish. The story eventually began to focus more on the side characters so we only saw shen jue's actions from their pov, and I was even feeling a little frustrated with him, why was he leading both the two ml's on and what was his motive for that? And then that scene where qiao jiangyuan kissed him for the engagement and when they were in private the first thing shen jue was dry heave in the bathroom bc he felt disgusted with himself for having to rely on his body to seduce people all the time. He knew he had to do it, but even he felt disgust with being romantically involved with two people at once. Ouch, and then for the FIRST time in three arcs, he cried, and that hit my heart so bad. I feel bad for the readers who may have dropped this after feeling like shen jue was TOO heartless but in reality he just keeps it hidden under a hard impenetrable shell. He has limits too.

you can tell that the story was written with the plot in mind. Sure, the MC has to make people fall in love with him and then he has to kill them, but it's never treated lightly or in a careless manner. Every single arc ending was heartbreaking, it makes your heart feel turmoil, because you honestly end up attached to the characters. It's also really nice how each character has a different motivation for why they fell in love with MC, there's many yandere tropes in this novel but they're not carbon copies of the same person. <<less

I hesitated a lot before reading this book but now I wished that I'd read it sooner.

What I love the most about the story is definitely the MC. He's very much focused on his goals. He isn't the typical weak shou who's self righteous. He knows what he wants and is willing to do what's needed to make it happen.

His emotions are so life like after doing some stuff that we see as morally wrong but even then I find it hard to blame him because his situation is very... more>> pitiful. Dragged down from a lofty position to the mud. So thoroughly insulted. It is not a surprise that he'd do anything to leave.

I feel bad whenever the realm protagonist is killed off because they haven't done anything bad yet so they're being punished for mistakes they haven't committed yet. <<less

I finished it and doesnt regret ever wasting my time on reading this.

This one is f*cking beautiful with brutality and despair in the mix

I love how the author wrote each arc's ending's realm master as pitiful and sad.

... more>> Yes, I do indeed see the realm masters as pitiful, but not the kind of pity where you want to help him, its the kind of pity where you wish u were there to help Shen Jue more with his revenge, because in my opinion, Shen Jue's deserves better.

But in all honesty, I dont really hate the realm masters much, because the author explained the reason, he was also just in the reincarnation realm to solve a big issue, tho he did not suffer much and was even like a protagonist in each realms.

Also a reason I dont hate him much was because his regret and sadness he feels in the end was satisfactory to watch

In the end, he regretted it alot on what he did to Shen Jue after he left the reincarnation realm. He didnt feel angry that Shen Jue killed him in the realms because, it was plain to see that he killed Shen Jue for more a thousand of years

Shen Jue was innocent and powerless

I feel like the Emperor and that son of his deserves more pain and torture, because I am not satistied with the revenge.

Like, I get that a person should not live in hatred and revenge all the time but Shen Jue really suffered so much injustice, and I feel like the death given to them was not much of a punishment.

Why?Shen Jue suffered and died for thousands of times.I know that Shen Jue must have been tired

Anyways, I feel like this would have been more great if the pain and suffering was more expressed, like when the realm master's pain and grievance in every realm, Shen Jue degrading himself and thought of himself as not clean anymore with blood and mud in his hands, and the Emperor and his son's ending should have been more painful than what Shen Jue had suffered for eternity

.... Ahem, I really like angst

Ah, also, I wanted the author to at least write a couple of more chapters of Shen Jue and She Hejun together, because Im mad and feel like that the ending feels a little rushed

This would have been more good if the translation was good, and not in mtl. Because I had difficulties understanding while reading, it frustrated me but I still wanted to finish it.

I usually dont like to read mtl because I like grammars and cant stand a sentence that was not easy to understand and doesnt make any sense at all. The only novels I had read in mtl (because I wanted to know whats next) were 2ha, Debut or Die, After Crossing Through Ten Worlds, I faile <<less

Spoiler

For people who say that MC has cold heart, did you really read it? Sigh, I suggest you reread it again. After all what do you guys expect from MC who has suffered through multiple reincarnations? Hope he has a soft heart and not kill the ML? Lol

Spoiler

Glad, after all at the end he accepted and together with ML, they lived happily with their child. Shen jue unlike other MC who have an op system/op character that supports him. He only has past memories and his strong determination to return to his teacher.

plot: 8/10, smut: 7.5/10, angst: 9.5/10

this is gr8!! A hidden gem honestly. Ive read many transmigration/reincarnation bl but this stands out 'cos of how the MC doesn't have a system or a golden finger and it's also more dark and angsty. I feel bad for the MC tbh I will mu*der that mf which caused him so much pain I WILL DO IT.

the ratings for this novel shld be higher honestly, ppl shld read finish the novel b4 rating it bc it does progress nicely and we learn more and... more>> more abt the mc!!

update: I've completed it now AND IT'S SO GOOD??? The only arcs I probably didn't like is the film and the fox squirrel arcs

this author has to be my favourite bc they also wrote the "Transmigrated into a Heartthrob Novel & went OOC" WHICH IS MY ALL TIME FAV (other thn mdzs) <<less
