For a certain LoL competition, a certain online streamer famous for pissing people off was currently explaining and broadcasting it at the same time.

Streamer: This support, so tr*sh.

Streamer: If that jungler was my teammate, I would already be idling at the fountain and playing piano for him by now.

Streamer: I recommend that this player go back and properly practice how to last hit.

Audience: What bullshit! If you’re any better, then you do it!

Streamer: I, your dad, really can do it.

Audience: Okokok. If you can do it then I’ll chop off my head so you can kick it.

A few months later, the LPL’s veteran pro team TTC announced a new mid laner. A boy with flashy blue hair appeared in front of the audience and played Zed to utter perfection, killing everyone he saw, causing all the female fans to begin toeing the line of infidelity.

During the MVP interview after the match, everyone held their breath and eagerly watched this newcomer.

Only to see the boy accept the microphone, smile and ask, “That water friend with the StarTV user ID ‘Suburb King 101,’ my team’s address is on the official website, when will you be mailing your head over?”

After a certain regular season match finished, the staff member went backstage to urge the team members to go onstage and conduct their interviews, only to see TTC’s new mid laner and jungler standing in the corner.

TTC’s number one ace · jungler daddy Road pressed their team’s new mid laner Soft against the wall. He lowered his eyes and asked slowly, “In the interview later, do you know what to do?”

I loved this book so much

I'm undoubtedly one of Softs mums😂😂 I enjoyed every character. I'm just gonna tell you if you watched that certain C-drama, ehem ehem you will understand.

I have never played games in my life, excluding Candy crush, but this story had me hooked. The gaming aspect was really well-portrayed, and I didn't feel overwhelmed by it. Our tr*sh-talk king is hilarious, and his black fans are even more so. The barrage had me clutching my stomach. The ML is so endeared by the MC's brash and audacious personality, and I can't even blame him because I was too. There are some instances of underhanded and xenophobic comments that made me feel put off, but other than... more>> that it's a great read. Well-paced, interesting, hilarious and exciting. READ IT. Even though I have no interest in LoL or most video games this was still super fun and enjoyable to read. The character dynamics between the team members were all really entertaining and funny and this is definitely one of my favorite series. You don't need to have an in-depth understanding of LoL to be able to enjoy reading this and I highly recommend it!

It's a good story with lots of cute stuff. The age seems a bit too young but at least the age gap isn't huge. One thing I really appreciate was that when they both were younger (underage) the author just set one meaningful meeting which was inspiration for soft and even in that meeting neither of them made it about being attracted to the other. Also glad that Lu knows that Soft really has him on a pedestal. When this was brought up, I thought the writer will give us... more>> atleast some sort of serious discussion or incident but that just got brushed over. I wish they had given us more insight on how Lu's parents accepted Soft but I do appreciate the small parts that have been shared. It's strange that absolutely no one had a problem with both the leads coming out specially when one was popular and the other was growing in popularity. The writer should have have written something about that but I let that go this is mostly fluff. There are some parts that are hilarious, specially when Soft and his fans talk.

Another point that felt a bit off logic

There was a part of another team behaved arrogantly and tried to cheat their way into finale. I thought if something like that really happened, the team would have blamed one member who was causing trouble and kicked him to white wash their image instead of taking the blame as a team. Specially when everyone in the game was blaming them.

A gem of a story. The translation is very good therefore easy to understand. From the beginning there was no struggling to have interest in the story it was like watching the beginning of good drama. I'm not a gamer and really don't have interest bt I was hooked by the inclusion of real life goings on and the gaming ones blended in. I kinda have a better understanding of LoL now 😁. For readers it not hard having good imagination so whether you game or not this story will... more>> grab you. Wow, after several novels I finally understood quickly when reading a novel with the theme danmei + e-sport Legend of League.

I'm not a Legend of League gamer. Or other heavy games.
You could say I'm not a gamer. But I enjoy reading books that have a game theme.

What do I get from I Can Do It?
- 70% of LOL talks and competitions because the main characters are members of the LPL China.
- 25% Daily stories and struggles of MC & ML & teammates in the TTC professional team. Although the MC this time is considered to have bad swearing habits. ML type is cool, handsome, has a lot of money. This time not the CEO but the captain of the TTC team. Hahaha, the formula looks ordinary but the narration and writing is smooth. Including the curses thrown by the MC ;p.
- 5% Sweet and smooth love story. Has 17++ scenes.

This novel from beginning to end a lot of game scenes LOL. Roughly cover 70% overall! Hold on and you'll get to know the champions in LOL, hahaha.

Trivia: I read while looking for info about champions LOL. Very interesting. Until I saw youtube which summarized 140 champions from LOL. ;B

This is my second esport novel after Fog. I thouroughly enjoyed this. Xiao Rong's relationship with his fans is so unique and made this novel a lot more interesting.

Savior who just transferred under PUD. He is a cutie specially when he learnt curses from the MC xDDD its like a big bro teaching his little bro how to diss someone who just tr*shed talk at them in the middle of the game. I cant forget how PUD's XIU told the ML to stop MC teach Savior how to curse in mandarin because hes been shouting curses randomly and even randomly hummed a korean song AHAHAHAH

Yay! Another amazing E-sport novel! Full of fluff and laugh.. Hands up to Jiang Rong and his daddy fans very entertaining interactions and to ever doting and caring ML Lu Boyuan.. Love the side characters too..

f*ck I really enjoyed this. I was interested in the Lol gameplay (probably because I watched Arcane) but the game play segments were just enough.

The MC and ML getting together felt natural and cute although I was reminded between the 18 yr old and 23 yr old age gap.

My favorite part was the MC interactions with his fans, they were funny, enjoyable and consistent. My least favorite part would be, as many other mention, the china vs Korea Arc.

Overall for me: 3.5/5

My 3rd novel by this author and I loved it. Being a gaming addict myself, I am a definite veteran fan of this genre. All the characters are adorable and I enjoyed their dynamics, interactions, dialogues and fun moments a lot. Majority of this novel is about League of Legends e-sports, so be warned.

This is officially my second time reading it, I enjoyed both the MC and ml. This was very cute I loved it and would recommend if you want something light with a relatively strong couple and outside stimuli only that doesn't affect the relationship. The MC is likable and cute, with the sorta sharp-tongued and witty personality. The ML is very charming (A little OP but it doesn't effect each other). The pacing is smooth and the romance is sweet.

The translator did a good job and the author is so... more>> amazing. It was so worth the wait as I decided to finish the translations first before I proceed into reading it. The effort done into this is chef kiss. There're also a lot of comedy and secondhand embarrassment in this novel. Thanks to the author and translators the LOL game terms were easy to understand and follow, although it isn't my first e-sports novel (Finished E-sports Assembly Camp).

Overall Rating: 4.5- 4.7 - Please Read Spoiler as it will effect your enjoyment of this novel.

ICDI isn't a perfect novel, but nothing is! (I also think the author might've gotten influenced by a lot of the nasty comments people started leaving about 3/4 of the way through sadly, but who wouldn't be?) For me, what's important is that ICDI genuinely made me laugh at least once in every chapter.

Depends on the amount of fluff you need in your life also... I was reading some reviews and realized just how bad the race/nationality-ism is in this novel. I'm not going to front, I didn't notice much because I'm from America and I'm also young so I don't usually recognize low disses. This is another thing that will effect your rating. After noticing this I've chocked it down to 4.5 or 4.6.

This is not because I am overly biased, but because being able to not put bias into controversial things such as the things mentioned is a trademark of a skilled writer. At the very least it shouldn't influence your book's overall message!

I read alot of Esport BL but this book is very very very good to read. Not too much virtual gaming world nor too much dreaming. Some how very balancing whole story. I really love to read it.

Really cute e-sports novel!! It's so fun I read it twice already with only a week between readings because I missed the characters so much lol

Thanks to the author and translators the LOL game terms were easy to understand and follow, although it isn't my first e-sports novel (currently following Glory, yo), the novel felt really fresh bc LOL is an actual game that I knew due to my brother and because I played a couple of rounds but got my ass beat by a smurfing Renekton QAQ anyways!... more>> I really liked the novel but I think my favorite thing besides the main relationship, which was super adorable, was the relationship between Soft and his fans!! They were really cute and really had that feel of a small community that cared for their content creator.

I feel like I have to mention the xenophobia many have talked about because it might ruin the novel for some people, personally, it didn't for me because I felt like the author wasn't really hating on Koreans as much as she was creating a villain that is Korean but I think she focused too much on the fact that they were Korean and like made that part of the reason as to why they were like that if that makes sense? But I think the reason it can be saved is that it was only one team and not like all Korean characters or players. Either way, give the novel a chance and make the choice for yourself!! The novel is really good otherwise and the characters are well written, and of course, the translators did a great job!!! <<less
