In his quest to reverse time and space to save his fallen kingdom, the fallen prince, Bai Lixin, was bound to a dimensional system and became the host to an artificial intelligence called S419M.

From then on, he lived the life of the wind; world-hopping, constantly changing faces and blackening in seconds.

Ancient, modern, future and post-apocalyptic worlds, mecha, blood battles, gods and demons, immortals….his mental power was becoming more and more powerful, and he was on the verge of achieving the condition for reversing time and space.

But unexpectedly, he triggered a hidden God-level mission: The Return of the Lord God!

He had to complete this mandatory mission before he could return to his original world! If he knew how it was triggered, he would have avoided it!

Good. Bumpy road until the end.

At first I just read it because I'm bored and have plan of not finishing it if I find repetitive and boring. Also the bad reviews contributes for not taking it seriously. But guys give it a try it's worth it. It's a hidden gem.

It wasn't all revenge and face slapping.

MC was not the overpowered and all knowing and can commmit mistakes and acknowledge it. He was quick witted but not in most unrealistic way he was also be deceive and pitted even if he... more>> has powerful system backing him and the ML. The author never fails to make the MC to be just a perfect flower vase but make him evolve and be a relatable person.

ML also was not the stereotypical ML that was overpowered, but also have his shortcomings. I've read so many novels especially QT and this one I consider on my top list.

Villains are not also just a one dimensional character which as if they exist just to make the protagonist full of suffering. They are also cunning and reasonable to the point I sympathize with them most of the time. They are well written and can be a stand alone protagonist on their own story.

The story arcs were unique and not repetitive and also the protagonist in every world was not antagonized just because MC was there. It's as if even if MC is there he wasn't stealing the limelight of the protagonist of each world if it isn't necessary. That I really like.

So that's it. I'm not spilling spoilers I just want to evaluate it. I hope you give it a chance. <<less

I haven't finished so I don't wanna leave a review just yet but I wanted to talk about what 1 of the other reviewers said. Because they're literally just misrepresenting the book. They're borderline lying.
Spoiler

The girl who got gang r^ped didn't just spread things about MC on the internet. She provoked a crazy gangster lady and then sent said crazy gangster after MC, MC just sent her back. The girl would've have given the same fate to MC and in fact tried to get him gang r^ped after it happened to her. She didn't even know the MC sent the crazy gangster lady back to her she was just mad the MC was doing better than her. She literally ruined the og hosts life, made his best friend abandoned him, ruined his company, had him gang r^ped, and then posted the s*x video online despite knowing his sickly mother would've seen it. She was a full on villain and I don't feel bad for her. She can have it done to others but not herself?

[collapse]
I wouldn't trust their review or let it deter you. The only reason I started reading the book was because I noticed my favorite translator was the one translating and I know they have better tastes than what the other reviewer described.

MC is a massive Gary Stu, over the top OP, he has barely any personality worth mentioning apart from being unjustifiable ruthless, it doesn't make him cool or strong but absolutely unlikeable.

ML is the cold, powerful CEO stereotype, he too lacks a personality that goes beyond his setting.

Their love is instant, MC isn't even gay but falls for him basically on their first meeting, they have no chemistry, nothing about their "romance" is believable.

Of course, 99% of women are evil, either they hate MC for plot reasons or they are... more>> s*xual predators, and of course the author has no problem with using r*pe to punish them, they deserve it anyway despite them having done nothing but slander the MC on the internet.

What world does she live in that spreading rumours justifies (violent gang) r*pe?
Why do we still give people like this author a platform to spread their damaging garbage?

Some people shouldn't be allowed to publish.

Edit: I love when people accuse others of lying but leave out everything important.
I'll expend my review because it's obvious that some people need it.

Everything evil she did was in her past life, not the one the story takes place in, aka it's a blank sheet.
Would she have done it again? No one knows.
Justifying r*pe with "it happened to a bad person" is the kind of messed up mindset that has no place in a civilised world.
All she did until then was slandering him, what she has done in another life doesn't matter at all and neither could MC know that she hasn't changed, he's high on vigilantism.

We as readers know she didn't change because the novel is in third-person-omniscient, MC knows exactly zero about her current mindset and character.
It's another big problem of this novel, the author uses the reader's knowledge to explain/justify MC's actions, which isn't how this POV works - at all.
That's what I meant with "unjustifiable ruthless", he doesn't know what we know but still does sh*t like orchestrating a gang-r*pe.
I would have looked the other way if he actually knew that she didn't change at all, might even be worse than in her last life, but he simply doesn't because he's not us who know what other characters do and think.
This is completely on the author and her lack of ability to pull off 3-p-o, this way she only ruined her own MC and uses the novel to satisfy her own perverse sense of revenge at the expense of a female character.

It's seriously messed up that reviewers have to break-down every single detail because people here are dead-set on justifying r*pe in every way they can. <<less

I normally don't even consider writing reviews on stories however the other remarks made me kinda angry, and those who wrote those reviews clearly didn't read enough, so here we are. First off ANY WORLD HOPPING NOVEL WILL MORE OFTEN THEN NOT HAVE A OP MC, OKAY!!! Now of course this isn't always the case, nevertheless, this doesn't mean everything has to be different to make it unique from the rest.

HOWEVER, what I noticed about this particular story are the worlds and the way the characters are portrayed. Personally, the... more>> MC is perfectly fine and he does in fact have a personality, but what stood out to me later on is the way he treats the og protagonists of some of the worlds. His way of going about things is so fascinating, especially in the dragon and video game arc the way he dealt with the characters was simply so flawless that it made me s**ked into the story and made me think OMG I LOVE THIS. Another fault with a reviewer is that the women are so called always evil... no, no they are not. In fact as I said before specifically in the dragon arc, great great twist, wasn't expecting it. Most of these arcs takes a dramatic twists on your typical story lines seen in world hopping novels. And once again no the MC doesn't attack every single one of his enemy's, they either provoked him first and he issued his revenge accordingly or they just deserve to die. And no for those wondering he isn't brainless. Even the romance has its moments, and once again, no the ML is not emotionless, in each world he has a different personality. It might take awhile realizing it after the first arc but each is distinct in its own way. Finally the romantic tension between the MC and ML is mwah, I could give 5 stars just for that.

Is any story flawless, of course not, but this novel in particular does not deserve the hate it is getting. I will not lie and say some parts of the face slapping can get repetitive, but its not mindless and the characters and arcs make up for it, I am so glad I picked this up it is truly a gem, don't listen to those who obviously cant tell if something is good by only reading the first couple of chapters. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED, I PROMISE.

Edit: Also props to the translator, fantastic job. The speed of uploading is unprecedented. <<less

Firstly, the translator did an amazing job with the story! So I bumped the initial 4 stars I'd rate the story to a 5.

Secondly, this story really shines after the first 2 arcs, so while you might think they're rather lackluster or awful, I'd say you should save your judgment until you've completed 3-4 arcs (imho, many world-hopping stories that I've read and come to love would have been completely lost to me if I had decided to drop the story after reading just 1-2 arcs). The arcs are only... more>> 20-30 chapters long so yeah, it's not too long.

I love the progression and consistency of the plot. Many world-hopping novels seemed to end rather abruptly, i.e. As soon as the OP love interest regains all of their fragments, they instantly finish off all the baddies in one or two chapters and then it's a happy end for both of our protagonists. But here, you can read the actual development and struggle against their enemies. I consider their battle against the main villain to take place over 5 arcs with one arc in the middle to just be a breather before the actual big battle.

Mind you, these spoilers are really spoilery. They basically tell the whole plot.

Spoiler

Basically, the ML is a new god who was made to replace the old god because the old god's time should run out. But the old god didn't want that and he killed all the new gods meant to replace him and created 12 sub-gods to help divide the powers of the new gods. The ML is the latest new god created by Chaos and since Chaos got tired of all his kids dying, he had the MC created to help the ML. In the later half of the story, the MC works with the ML to kill some of the false sub-gods, so ML can recover but then the old god discovers that something is iffy and does various schemes to kill the MC. Often times, I actually felt a bit of suspense because the MC's POV isn't shown and we're led to believe that the villain will get away with their schemes.

[collapse]

As for the MC, unlike other protagonists where we're only told that they're smart and not shown, this MC seems to have the brains actually needed for plotting and scheming. We also see character development in the MC (He grows from thinking of the worlds as nothing but tasks into actual living worlds and is able to form genuine relationships with the people of those worlds).

Spoiler

In the ABO arc, he actually gives birth to a child, unfortunately that child will only remain a native of that world and never know the real origins of his parents. But the child still lived a good life after losing his parents at 20 because oop! Can't stay long, gotta collect more fragments.

[collapse]

The MC also spends time in his own world (accompanied by body stealing ML of course) after collecting all the fragments before the final arcs. He's actually the crown prince even though he's the younger brother and he has a grudge on the supposed person that betrayed the kingdom. And he gets disappointed because it was his closest person who ended up actually being the traitor that led to the downfall of his snow kingdom (lmao I got frozen vibes). His origin was also revealed in the previous arc.

Spoiler

There are some loop shenanigans I guess??? So Chaos made the MC to be from a parallel world so he won't go under the influence of the old god and be the one to gather the fragments and kill the old gods. So all that thing about his excellent work in previous worlds being the reason for his 'collect the fragments task'? Yeah that's all planned. The ML getting divided into 12 fragments? Yeah that's all planned. The MC actually went back in time when the ML was first formed and from the MC's memories, the ML was able to read a message from the future ML about how to escape being annihilated. And then the MC goes back to the future and boom more conflict and even more unexpected conflict until we reach our end. Due to the f*ckery of the old gods, the worlds are all messy as hell, and the MC and ML have to work to bring them all in order.

[collapse]

Cons:

  • The smut was embarrassing and the ML is too h**ny (Like 3 days to recover? Why is that such a common thing in cnovels? That's violence.). Can't see any divinity in him at all.
  • The first arc was awful and cringe.
  • MC seems a bit passive at times but that might just be acting.
  • None of the worlds are memorable (actually many of the arcs are rather weak in world-building but the overall plot of fighting against the main villains kept me interested).

Someone amongst the other reviewers has mentioned plagiarism of QWTFD. So I started reading this novel with that in mind. And honestly, I can see the similarities and parallel lines. Yet, if I had not read that review before reading the novel, I might not have noticed it, seeing as QWTFD was the first world hopping novel I have read which was several years ago. Not to mention that my brain is a sieve and I had to look up the actual novel to remember a few snippets of... more>> the plot.

On top of that, I have read quite a few novels of this genre so the plots kinda blend together and I rarely ever feel like I'm reading something new. Not like that's much of a problem since I have my preferences and tend to go back to reading basically the same thing with minor differences all the time, just with breaks in between.

Others have complained that the MC has no personality besides being op. Well, I would like to differ. The MC might be op, but he is not omnipotent. He does make mistakes quite a few times in fact, more than what I am used to from an op MC. He is also quite ruthless, a bit lazy at times and doesn't always have his priorities straight as he tends to lose himself in love and overestimates himself or underestimates his opponents only to be taught a lesson for his arrogance.

The ML in turn is a bit more generic, like any other quick wear gong ML: dotes on MC, likes to f*** MC and is op. At least, he is not a scumbag.

The plot, again, is nothing I haven't seen before. So I won't comment on that. I will just say that the novel fulfilled its purpose of entertaining me which is why my rating is so generous. <<less

This is borderline plagiarism. Either the author of this novel copied "Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil", or that author copied this one. There are more than 10 different parallels I can spot, and it's not just that the MC and ML have the same personalities, it's that the plots also resemble each other (the specific details are ALSO the same).

If you don't care for the strangely similar plot or you don't believe me, well, you still wouldn't want to read this.

I have nothing against OP MC's, quick transmigrations,... more>> and face slapping; in fact, it's quite entertaining. However, it really doesn't work when the only redeeming quality of the MC is their OP-ness. In order to sympathize with the MC, as well as any other character, and enjoy the story, we need to know about their backgrounds, their pasts, their feelings, their quirks, and essentially, y'know, what makes them a person. As it is now, the MC is quite frankly the random guy on the street, and 122 chapters in, he's still completely unrelatable. Other than the fact that he was backstabbed by his best friend and lost his kingdom, I don't know anything else about him or his personality. (I mean...I guess we do know he's calm (because he's OP) and smart (because of the cheat system) and competent (because he spent 1000 years travelling through worlds and we don't know a single thing about it) and gay (it's a BL...) and is just generally... OP.) In his interactions with others, it's like a well-rehearsed play and it feels like we don't get any real emotion. Whenever he's interacting with the ML, it feels forced, dead, and solely there because the author wants a BL. The author could kill him off in the most brutal way possible, and all I would think is "Oh well! At least the story's over", and go on about my day. Which says a lot about how interesting it is.

Other than the downfalls of how uninteresting the MC is, the other characters are equally as bad. It's almost like the author is trying to compete in how to make the most boring character ever! The ML is like any typical ML, OP, powerful, hot and leaking with male hormones, in control, doesn't ever make mistakes, and just like the billion other ML's out there. He exists because he's the ML and we need a main interest. As for the villains, extremely 2D, extremely dumb, and extremely evil for no reason. Y'know, because they're the VILLAIN.

Moving on to the world development, which I say is definitely hard in quick transmigrations because the scenarios change so often, but even then, our author gave the most MINIMAL effort. As little as possible. It's the quick recap of the world setting and plot in 3 paragraphs, then smartass MC and ML against the dumb and evil villains for the rest of the chapters, and then concluding statement of the fate of the world in one more paragraph. All the world settings are very stereotypical, you have the cultivating arc, the gaming arc, the vampire arc, the modern day arc, the magic arc, the dragon arc, etc. etc. The author DOES put in some more variety later on at like c100, because up to date, there's been one count of the villains redeeming themselves and not dying miserably and an actual world setting being explained.

Yeah, so I'm getting tired typing this up and I think I've provided plenty examples of why the MC fails at being a person and why reading this is a gigantic waste of your time, but hey, maybe you just like wasting time. In that case, you should definitely try this one out. Definitely a forgettable experience! <<less

Too many holes in the plot. There are many interactions that don't make sense, as if the author is forcing the storyline to develop in a romantic direction within a certain time so that it can be completed in predetermined chapters. Not much of a romantic aspect here. The author writes that there is an intimate interaction between MC and ML in every arc, unfortunately it feels bland.

The emotional aspect is almost non-existent. I will give 2 stars for the efforts of the translator.

The last arc was all over the place and it felt like the author kept changing their mind on how they wanted things to play out so it almost made no sense. However I enjoyed the majority of the story. I just want to rant, the face slapping is just so lacking, just so lacking. From my experience, people won't believe anything you said just because you said it, people would have doubts, yes this did happen, but when MC just states his facts, everyone would automatically believe him. Yes, maybe he got an evidence at the showbiz arc, but wtf, if I were to witness that, there would be a huge commotion for having many videos as evidence, the first thing that most people think, that the one who post the video is a stalker or at least have much power/ ability to do that, and there would be a lit of conspirancies and theories coming up.

What I mean that the face slapping is too unreal,

MC is just simply OP. His personality can't be counted as cold but more like a scheming person who would crazily do something and manipulate others (I like it though). Well... his character is not that good but it's not to the point that I hate it.

Spoiler

At first, he seems to have a problem with having to find a male lover but somehow he can accept that easily just in the few next chapters and they fell in love just in a blink of an eye.🤷

ML is not bad (but not that good, he's kinda boring somehow).

Spoiler

He's a god or something and his soul got divided into other worlds

About the system, it's sooooo cheating. I think it's even more essential than the ML literally.

For the story, It keeps me wanting to know what will happen next even though there are some parts I don't like (I don't like seeing people got r*ped even though they did something bad in the past). But overall is pretty good, quite interesting (if you like OP protagonists and dog blood revenging story. Actually it's kinda brainless and cringe though lmao) <<less

I have no idea how many time I have asked in reviews for people not to compare each and every world hopping novel to QWFOD. It's like ppl are so stuck up on FOD as if it's a standard, sorry to disappoint it's not (go back to jjwxc and open the door to the number of QT written in 2015, less in 2014). It just took many existing things that were written before, tropes that were explored before and twisted it into a traveling through worlds novel. Oh yes. These... more>> novels are only a year apart and FOD was released in 2015, while this one was released in 2016 btw. Sometimes I wish people would actually pay attention to dates, these years started booming with QT, not to mention trends in writings and tropes that are popular for a period of time on jjwxc. Getting my opinion out - when I was reading the thought that it looked like another novel never crossed my mind, especially with all the gods plotting against our protagonists, but I thought that they might have used some popular tropes. If you want to accuse, accuse author that in 2021 they wrote another QT novel that was actually quite close in the main framework to this one (gods plotting against protags, you can find it on NU too) to their own novel :'D And I bet many people have no idea that when you read novels with similar tropes or novels that were written during certain period of time often times they look like copy-pastes of each other, sorry but it's true. But what can you do, you can't own tropes.

Anyway, I took too long fuming. Coming back to this novel I might say, it's not perfect in the least. Even author themselves admit they were very rusty at the beginning and things only got better later. NOTE: There is a continuation to this novel, more like to these protagonists, which is unlimited stream genre where ML is trapped and MC goes through worlds of horror. Here it's a classic QT, slap me some scumbags, change your fate and fall in love with ML. Bai Lixin wanted to reverse the fate of his country, so thus he bound the system, but while traveling he triggered a hidden mission and before he finishes it he cannot leave. Of course this god is our ML. Mainly doing good things in these worlds is what helping ML being nourished, what can you do ML is compassionate to these worlds, so MC does it too. Being a daddy or a father and bringing worlds to prosperity :D The arcs are set in different timelines like modern, ancient or future, they also have different settings. But these settings are also dependant on the gods that are responsible for these worlds (like for example there was the God of Love and her world seemed quite braindead). These gods are conceited of course and believe they are above all else, mere people are like ants in their eyes and they can do whatever they want, but no worlds, no power in their hands. ML as a god is a new era, era of renewal and eradication of their rotten rule. Author shaved this part into defeating gods in the end of course, so the logic behind is - those Gods know who ML is and they know if he comes they'll be finished, so they conspire against him in those worlds to defeat him but instead get offed or will be offed later. The love is passionate, I mean I see no problem with how they get together, it's author's choice not mine. Their feelings grew stronger, I always make a discount when characters get a bit faster together to the point that both love each other and it's like a soul imprint, so their attraction is mutual and fast. I may not have said much about the plots, but I think it's more interesting to check those yourselves.

It's not a perfect novel, I assure you, it had ups and downs, I personally liked the idea about it and the feelings between them. I haven't read the latest novel about these two (满级大佬误入无限游戏后, or you can find it on NU, I forgot Eng title), it's still ongoing and it's three times the length of this one (I mean, 1 mil vs 3 mil words). The novel that has different characters but similar things happening that was written in 2021 (每次人设都是反派[快穿]), I completed reading it, it's good for reading once and was good enough, but reading them close to each other bore the heavy sense of deja vu.

OH YEAH, I mtl's this one, I saw comments that translations have some incorrect parts, anyway you see for yourself, I thin mtl was readable, at least for me. <<less

Although later they will introduce the concept of auroboros to us, it still doesn't change the fact that the relationship between MC and ML is built too quickly, even for a quick transmigation novel.

For the ending, I'm personally feels the ending is quite awkward... Because It's feels like nothing, even when I read the climax part I can't feel anything.

Maybe one good point in this story is the diversity of antagonist characters in each arc... where each of their personalities is generally different, some are brain-dead antagonist, some are really cunning to the bone, some can repent and get their own happy ending (Honestly, this is my favorite development character in this story), but there are also character that are basically good from the start. <<less

I love QTs and I won't lie. But the writing on this one is really choppy, and it's not the translator's fault. The author seems to be new at this business and it shows. It is pretty good, I'm always a sucker for QT. Bai Lixin is funny and hrny lol. I like him and I also like the ML. I can't believe this had 14 arcs, it was a longg ride but it was pretty fun. Hmm, the plots were nice and the plot twists were not really expected, even if u knew there was gonna be plot twist. I don't know why they compare this to QWFOD because this isn't really as serious (?) as that one, I could consider this quite... more>> chill and not much stress. The ending was quite unsatisfying though, but considering that there is another novel with them as MC, I guess that's the authors way of promoting it lol. Also, the seggsy scenes here, I think were more detailed compared to other QTs 👀, ML was really wild lol. I miss S149M cause he no longer appeared in the end 🙁. Anw, it was really good! Read this right before the start of second sem lol, clutch mode.

I doubt if I could remember each arc, , but I'll try

  1. Oh I cant remember
  2. Still cant remember (tho these are good cause I decided I would stop if the first 2 arcs were not good)

What an amazingly detailed qt novel! Each arc could honestly have been its own story, but I never felt like they were missing anything major, or had any huge plot holes.

I also liked how not every story had to face slap the original protagonist. In some, the MC and ML actually got along quite well with the original mc/ml.

I also thought the wrapper story was pretty interesting. The author obviously thought so as well, because quite a few arcs referenced it, or built upon that outer story.

Finally, I liked how... more>> the MC wasn't purely dependent on his other half. They collaborate and work together, like a well matched couple should. <<less

As a FOD s*ave that had read the whole book over and over again for countless of time, I would say that the concept is indeed very similar. MC with a cute little system that travels through thousands of world in search of his beloved’s soul and defeat the evil god that controls their universe. The theme for each world also doesn’t differ that much, but the plot itself stands on its own with few similarities. The first 6 arcs were bland with little depth to the characters. Yet even... more>> so it was still quite an enjoyable read. It was starting from the vampire arc that everything got a lot more interesting. The son and daughter of each world no longer serve as mere cannon fodders for MC, but there were repentance, love, and stories from each of them. All of the world after the 7th arc was really satisfactory to me because we get to see that how vulnerable MC and that he wasn’t as OP as he initially was. He would make mistakes in judgement, be at loss without the system, and desperately search for the ML while he was unable to feel his soul fluctuations.

I really can’t quite emphasize how the latter chapters messed me up, because I was really surprised on how the plot turned out to be. The concept of space and time within this book had me rereading the previous arcs, because it turned out that the future greatly affected the past and the past timeline was built based on their future actions. Confusing? Yea, even I was confused, but this was what made me really satisfied with this book. The main villain of this book was also quite the headache, so even the gary sue MC and ML had difficulties defeating him in the past and future timelines.

Yet even tho I really like how the story of each world and the main plot are started, the endings were always so abrupt. It was to the point that I doubted whether the arc/story was really over.

And for those reviewers that says MC and ML have no chemistry at all and could fall in love with each other right off the bat, well you would understand why it has come to that once you read the latter chapters. But if you want some spoilers:
Spoiler

MC’s souls was created by Chaos in order to aid ML defeat the Pseudo Lord God, so in sense, they were indeed created for each other. Their chemistry roots deep, it starts way back from the first civilization of humans. The main plot, in which the MC travels through 12 worlds to retrieve ML’s soul fragments also started from here. It was the future ML that guided the MC and ML in the past timelines.

This point alone was so complex and worthy of praises.

I hope that none of you would be fooled by that one review in which they claim that the author justify r*pe because it happened to an evil female character. Please realize that, first of all, the story does not revolve around this matter. The plot in this particular arc was about rebirth and the daughter of the world was consumed with greed. I personally believe in karma, do not scheme against other if you don’t want the same thing happening to you, because one day you will bear the wrongdoings of your past life. So I must pinpoint that within this particular setting, she did deserve whatever happened to her. <<less

I absolutely love this story, and if the translator is reading this, please know that you are an absolute GEM, alright? They gave us consistent and fast updates without compromising on the quality of the translations. This person deserves all the warmest hugs in the world and I absolutely wuv them!

Ahem, fangirling over the translator aside, this might be one of the best world hopping books I've read so far. There were some things like putting too much emphasis on beauty and the thibg about the ML going at it... more>> for the entire night and somewhat damaging the MC's body by overdoing it (tho they both know what they were doing, it was consensual and both enjoyed it so idk what to think about this). However, those are things that are prevalent in most of the BL I've read so I'm not gonna take it seriously, especially when the consent here is explicit.

The thing I like about this is the equality. ML is the lord god and MC is a human world hopper, but I've seldom seen the ML saving the MC and taking over all his workload. Both work together, a real power couple. MC's task itself is to save the ML, and while the ML ends up powerful most of the times, it's mutual saving, love and pampering. I also love the fact that there doesn't seem to be a feminisation of the MC, as is prevalent in many other stories. MC actually has a personality. And so does ML.

I agree with some of the reviews that advice to give it like 2 arcs before abandoning it if you didn't like it from the beginning (tho I am one of those who was hooked from the beginning), because the third arc is actually the one where the conflict actually starts.

One of the best things about this story is the refreshing arcs. The problem with QTs is that people always keep basing the arcs in repetitive settings. More often than not, QTs have a specific routine, it's a modern world, a cultivation world, a showbiz world, omegaverse, sentinel guide world and a zombie apocalypse. This one goes out of the norms. I'm not going to go into spoilers, but just know that the arcs are extremely creative and fresh.

When it comes to faceslapping.... Some people might find it unsatisfactory, but that might have something to do with the fact that they expected utter ruination of the people who crossed the MC. I love face slapping but I hate it when the MC just destroys the lives of ppl who just said a few rude words to them. In this story, the revenge is done in moderation. People get what they deserve. And yes, that includes the
Spoiler

thing about the girl getting gangr*ped in the showbiz world. The MC actually did nothing, he just avoided taking the drugs and didn't follow the gangsters the girl had sent to gangr*pe him. If that girl falls in her own trap, then it's not the fault of the MC.

I loved this story and I'm super hyped for its sequel (which is also being translated by the same translator so woohooo!) <<less

Just two words... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

You might think that every arc is smooth sailing with constant plot flow but wrong, arc difficulty changes according to their level, you can even say its unpredictable.. Well aside from their love which is quite easy to guess.

Its a good read definitely my only thoughts is Bai Lixin is too..... How do I say this? Occupied on love? Specially on the last arc I am disappointed how he (mc) insisted on finding DiJia on the void which cause the fall of the god world... Dijia... more>> said to manage the world on his absence and wait for his return but Bai Lixin's negligence cause alot of casualties on android and zombie races... Altho the world was saved in the end.. None of these will happen if he choose to care about the world and not just focused on DiJia... Its like for the MC the world only Revolve around him and ML... Good thing MC really cared about the planes <<less

Literally what did I just read. I don't even know what to say. The ending was just... the most chaotic mess, and I really am disappointed haha. Either way though, I managed to finish so it's definitely not all bad, but seriously don't expect the best world building or plot in this novel. It gets tedious and convoluted at times, and frankly ridiculous at others. The main couple's relationship truly carries this novel because otherwise it would have been unreadable, I'm sorry to say.

In each world, MC immediately does whatever... more>> he wants without trying to match any character design of the original body he's been put into. He does in a sense try to fulfill the original host's wishes, but with his own unique way of doing things. Each arc after the first one acts more as a love capture mission of a some way or another traumatized ML, starting with MC recognizing ML by his soul, and then trying to assimilate the part of ML's soul back into ML's main body. Honestly it's a little unclear what MC's goals are in each world though.

For a QT novel where ML starts without his memory each time, this still reads as two husbands conquering the different worlds together. They can recognize each other at first glance, and from that point fully support and depend on one another.

The couple dynamic:

  • ML calls MC his baby!! So cute
  • Both extremely h**ny for each other all the time (ML slightly more so)
  • MC very assertive, ML varies depending on the world but is always doting on MC
  • MC genuinely cares about ML in every world and seeks him out ASAP
  • Powerful husbands taking over the world together
Honestly, there weren't many arcs that I actually liked (some I actively disliked) and some of the plots really made me internally cringe, but the relationship between the MCs made up for it as I really did love them together. The system is also actually helpful and has a good balance of dumb moments with intelligent ones. Villains are a bit one dimensional, but there's a good variety of likeable side characters in the worlds, and it's not just MC/ML vs everyone.

Notes I took for each arc, mild spoilers:

Spoiler

Arc 1 - Film industry, CEOs

A bit outdated with 3D movies. The MC starts off "straight" but he has no psychological burden falling for ML. Their relationship progresses much quicker than anything I've ever read, and while insta-love isn't usually my thing, I didn't mind enough to stop reading. MC seems to be the type of allow characters to bring their downfalls upon themselves, and seems a bit detached from anyone other than ML, which makes sense for a QT.

Arc 2 - Art school, evil twin

ML in this world has a split personality which defies logic but keeps things interesting. Everyone's a cheater in this world, but OG!MC's brother and OG!MC's boyfriend are particularly disgusting.

Arc 3 - Western fantasy, dragons

MC pretending to like the 15 year old FL doesn't sit right with me, but at least he only does that in front of ML and is just a mentor figure to FL. Meanwhile FL is in a relationship (basically groomed) with a 200+ year old dragon so that's a bit problematic, but she does flip the script. The climax was a bit cringe, but MC clearly is starting to take a more active role in bringing down the villains. Also in this arc ML f*cks MC in his (sized down) dragon form so that's a great time.

Arc 4 - Esports

ML has a brain tumor and won't meet with MC due to his illness, while MC needs to touch ML to heal him. I don't really enjoy esports in QT as it tends to be too fast paced, as this one was. Relationship was cute though.

Arc 5 - Wuxia

I really don't enjoy MC pretending to like the FL to manipulate her, it's just annoying to read. Not an arc I particularly enjoyed, skimmed through most of it tbh.

Arc 6 - Vampires, alchemists/priests

Haven't seen this genre before! MC starting the arc with amnesia, a bit out of nowhere, and the reasoning behind it is a bit dumb when it's revealed lol. The writing is a bit confusing as it alternates between the original and current world plots, took me a bit to realize that's what was happening. These western fantasy worlds always have the strangest character names. Overall though, a good arc.

Arc 7 - Sentinel/guide

Personal favorite genre of mine, hoping this is good. MC tansmigrating into the body of a sentinel is new, usually it's into a guide. Every time MC's chrysanthemum tightened when he saw ML had me on the floor, too funny. The brother's fanboy protective behavior is also cute. Liked this arc but it did drag a bit too long.

Arc 8 - Robots

MC transmigrates into a 14yo's body, but ML is a robot so hard to really give him an age lol. Still uncomfortable to read, plus a robot getting a hard on is hilarious to me. Why would the creator even give a robot a dick. The OP!MC shenanigans really do border on cringe again, seriously what was with a lightsaber appearing out of nowhere, but it's bearable. An interesting concept of what makes us human and the ethics of AI.

Arc 9 - Republic of China, supernatural

ML basically killed OG!MC so I'm already not a fan. Hard to read this arc for that reason. The situation is somewhat addressed by MC but honestly mu*der isn't something ML can come back from. The climax was way too chaotic and hard to follow, everything happened so fast and randomly.

Arc 10 - ABO, showbiz

A classic in QT, always gotta have an ABO world. Quickest love capture mission yet. These character names are too ridiculous. The focus is more on the showbiz aspect with ABO as a background setting. Another super abrupt ending with a lot going on out of nowhere.

Arc 11 - Cultivation

MC has transmigrated into a flower but in human form, typical cultivation world shenanigans. The first world where ML doesn't immediately appear and the system isn't present. Everyone is suspicious and it's quite the thrill to have no idea what's going on. The ending was pretty wild.

Arc 12 - Original world, royalty

MC back to his reality as the prince of the Snow Kingdom. The r*pe play was a bit out of nowhere and the lack of discussion definitely makes it dubcon even if MC is into it.

Arc 13 - Divine world (past)

MC transmigrates into a quite fitting body for him, but the host doesn't fully disappear so it's up to MC to gaslight gatekeep girlboss his way to full control. Pretty funny tbh.

Arc 14 - Divine world (future)

Time for a zombie apocalypse, but with prettier zombies. MC decides to start a zombie revolution and presents ML with a zombie army as a dowry. The plot derailed to an annoying degree afterwards though. Idk what the author was smoking but my face reading this arc was just like._. Literally wtf. Actually made me mad with how dumb it was lol?

[collapse]

The last arc and ending were an actual pain to read and I'm a little annoyed I wasted my brain cells trying to comprehend it. Overall though, I had a good time and finished reading this pretty quickly considering how long it is. Wouldn't say this is a great QT as most of the arcs are not great, but it's a strangely addictive read and I do like the MC for the most part.

Translation was edited MTL from what I could see so some mistakes and no notes, but it's readable. <<less

This is a novel of one man who falls in love with a broken god and travels from world to world to collect the scattered pieces of his soul. I really like the premise and thought this had a lot of potential after reading the first arc. A few more arc in however, I quickly came to realize that this novel reads like a series poorly connected short stories that seem to continually repeat themselves using different genres... The same characters deal with the same issues and come to the... more>> same ABRUPT conclusion; a lovely and h**ny happy ending. It makes for some good dog food when you don't want anything serious, but it also comes off as trying to be something more, at which it fails horribly. Each arc seems to end out of no-where and all the build up for it leads up to nothing but a few lines of cheap epilogue before we're thrust into the next genre with nothing but 1 more piece of hubby's soul collected.

At the 6th arc, we are finally introduced to a twist in the setting we've been reading over and over again. But rather than make it have some greater meaning to the plot at large, it turns out that what caused the interesting plot point was something inconsequential and we're back to where we started once the next arc begins.

The author continues to throw in a few more inconsequential twists to the same formula until we finally hit the 10th arc and our main line plot starts moving! I was just personally upset that this happened in an ABO world... I have a lot of issues with typical ABO content but I won't bring it up here. I'll just mention it's probably not skippable, despite the mpreg scenes and weirdly packaged misogyny. What I AM happy to tr*sh on in this arc is spoiler content though:
Spoiler

At the end, their son is thrown away with the pre-mature end of this world... It's the only time they didn't get full life-time for their happy ending. This meant that their one child, in a relationship that spans thousands of years, is cast aside with no impact on the story OR THE MAIN CHARACTERS. They're fine with it because they get a few lines of epilogue that describe how he lived a good life in that world after they left. The poor kid only had 1-2 lines of dialogue in the entire novel! If you're going to force child birth on a M/M couple, at least make it a significant event in the over arching story.

[collapse]
I was pretty much done with the series at this point, but the 11th arc was a cultivation world so I just barely managed to hold on to the end.

The ending... still very abrupt. I didn't hate it though? It was better than any of the endings the individual arcs got at least. It did explain some of the main character's character progression I missed through the earlier worlds too. It was just weirdly the least h**ny part of the entire novel while being the most graphic... idk, I'm just happy it's over. <<less
