This is the first korean manhwa novel I’ve read and it made me feel so much emotions throughout my journey reading it. I’ve finished this until chapter 123 and still waiting for the update. Two broken people, with respective tragic past and trauma, met each other. You get to see FL throughout her journey trying to survive her day-to-day life with her trauma and keep up with a facade. Eventually, with both characters sincerely showing their love and affection towards each other, they get to overcome such trauma (or at least try to) as they break their barriers and decide to trust each other. This is very hard especially for FL but because of Izek’s sincerity through her actions, he eventually gets to win her over. You read the novel mostly from FL’s perspective so the ML’s intentions in the first few chapters were misunderstood. Nonetheless, I love their character development and the flow of the story didn’t feel rushed nor too slow. The built up was amazing as for the plot and their romance so I feel very satisfied. Only a few chapters left I hope someone pick this up again.
