The premise is cute, I agree, I have no problem with the characterization of the MC until chapter 12 or until the ML showed up. MCs reaction is too abrupt and arbitrary, which for me is totally not in line with what the author showed us in Chapter 5, wherein which he was decisive, willing to compromise and work hard for his happiness, he seemed like a person who wouldn't wrong himself for someone who didn't love and willing to compromise for him. I love that chapter but all of... more>> these were thrown out in the gutter in favor of the trope. For me MC's wasn't a reaction one would expect from someone who was wronged, demeaned neglected, insulted and ignored, MC got too passive and acquiesced too easily. One wouldn't have the doki doki easily with someone who have repeatedly ignored, insulted, demeaned and I daresay physically abused him (the incident resulting to his pregnancy left him physically sick, if that is not abuse then I don't know what is. I read it again and I thought to myself wouldn't this incident traumatize anyone? Yet this just get swept under the rug) Also that drugging incident left a bad taste in my mind, he was basically roofied and the ML insulted him after he asked what happened! I was really annoyed at the author at this point, as the reasoning the author gave why the ML was like was it was typical MC behaviour, I mean WTF! This type of thing is really typical of CN author glazing over traumatic events and just painting it over with moe moe sh*t to make it more palatable. DNF. Can't finish this since scum is ML or ML is scum, flip it or reverse it, it's still a fitting description. <<less

The angst is very light here you barely feel it, it is a very fast paced novel, they suddenly meet after four years and suddenly are so welcome to each other despite not meeting for soo long and now they are smooth sailing to love with ML getting a " dream " of the hardship that MC had to face in the four years of seperation, the plot is not well cooked it could have been better, and I want to know, does children really warm up to absent parents... more>> suddenly when they usually are soo averse to strangers ? And do normal people really let their exes barge into their lives like this ? I get it is his child father and all, but he could easily make a great impact in his life specially if he didnt want to get back together, and he wants his child to live in a better enviroment than he can provide it is a very hard decision <<less

Im confused why many people give it low ratings. It's really a good story, it may not have a strong face-slapping scene, bcs its more focused on how they reconciliate to be a better couple.

Many people hate the ML, but I think its still excuseable why the ML choose not to find the MC when the MC left for four years, the previous MC attitude is really bad, blackmailing and threatening the ML, no wonder why the ML really hate the previous MC. The ML didn't even know he had... more>> child with MC, nor has feelings for the MC. Even though after the transmigrated MC come, there is sudden changes in MC characters but still its only a month! What do you expect from the ML who has been manipulated by months (or years?) by the previous MC, he still thinks the MC has ulterior motives with a sudden kindness and cheerfulness showing.

And after finding out the MC has a kid with him. ML really changed his attitudes towards the MC

Its pretty short story, but I really like it! The MC might not that powerful with bursting energy to revenge whoever who hurt him, he choose to forgive them and let them go, he really want to have a peaceful life with his baby. He's really calm, and strong in his own way. That's why I really like this storyyy! <<less

This made me cry slightly 🥲.

I love this novel because:

  • Heartache. That delicious drama~
  • Childcare. So cuteeee!!
  • Hardworking protagonist. Ohmylord, I'm crying at our MC's experiences.
  • Redemption. ML's a d*ck at the beginning but he's eventually redeemed. Don't worry because he's not actually bad, it's just that there's a lot of misunderstanding. (Didn't change the fact that he was a dick)
This is a good short novel that's great when you're looking for a little drama that wouldn't make you feel like you want to kill someone. 😂. Great story,... more>> 4.8/5 💕 <<less

A cute, fast, sweet, very pleasant read if you need some comfort and don't want anything too angsty. The story is compact but it isn't rushed, the author manages to put everything into it: a little angst in the beginning, some good face-slapping and wife-chasing later, and some true sweetness in the end. The MC is wonderful and feels real. The ML was on a wrong path in the beginning (for a reason) but later he redeems himself. He really regrets and he does his best for the MC and... more>> the kid. The kid was funny and cute :) It's really a very positive story that leaves a good feeling. <<less

I honestly read this MTL. It was tolerable. And I did enjoy it. If you are looking for fluff like I am then this is a novel for you. However, it is simple, focuses mainly on a slice of life, and there isn't really a lot of drama. Some people don't like that but I do.

Short but cute.

As the synopsis says, it revolves around ML wooing MC back, but the unjusts that MC experienced can't make up with it. I even ship Qin Zhe to MC st first. Fortunately, ML does everything for MC to make up for it. ML seems like MC's nanny. He's very attentive to him and does whatever MC's want as long as it is for MC's good

ML's redemption is a little anticlimactic, but I love the MC's broadmindedness and decisiveness.

Around c40, everything is resolved.
Looking forward to sequel ❤️ I want to see the love story of MC's son. He's pure and likeable but seems like a scum shou since he keeps liking someone unknowingly makes them fall for him

Through other people's actions, the MC and ML were drugged and then the MC left right after that. The ML blamed everything on MC. This is not out of line since the original host's body of MC used Bad means to get with the ML.

The MC has his baby and he struggles being a single parent, but the MC is reciliant. In the end, the ML finds out about his little bun, and wants to be a part of the MC life with the little bun. The story focuses on how the ML and MC got together, and how they raised their little baby together.

My heart definitely goes to the MC, he wasn’t trying to be hateful or scummy, just wanted to have a family filled with love because he was rejected that as a child to his young adult life. The ML isn’t completely in the wrong but could have gone with how he felt and “dealt” with the way he treated the previous and current MC, all on all this is a good story, does it not really make sense because of the four years gap, a little bit.

It was not bad of a story. I think its an appropriate amount of chapters for the story too and the conflict was resolved sufficiently with no excessive drama.

It’s basically a wife-chasing story. Or husband-chasing story in this case.

OriMC did some horrid schemes making ML despise him. When MC transmigrated over, he suffered and finally divorced the b*stard ML.

ML was a b*stard. No doubt about that. But the subsequent events of him suffering while courting the MC made me so satisfied. I even hoped he’d suffer more lol! But yeah,... more>> I get why MC is soft-hearted towards the ML and finally they got together again.

ML became a doting husband.

Bun is cute and prominent in the story.

MC is not OP but most of his grievances is solved by the ML so he doesn’t technically do much. <<less

Tolerable and it's MC. Iknow this sounds different but my mom suffered so much that she even hold deep to her grudges. I wanted to bring her to therapy so bad because she's depressed tho now she's getting better and even trying to allow my sister to her bf

So I understand that MC easily forgive ML for whatever he done to him because holding grudges and resentment will never let him move on and protect his kid. So far so good. I love the MC. He is strong. Not physical but emotional. When people let him down he tried to be positive but accept the truth and move himself from the bad Environment. He tried to find happiness for himself. In deprresion (which is real) he thinks of su*cide but he can pick up the pieces and live in hope because of his child. Something that could happen to us. I love when he said revenge is good. Face slapping is better but there are consequences. Some... more>> that he cant afford because he had something more important than that. Which is his baby. Mature I think.

About his love for the ML. Well, I think the beginning is crush. Who wont love getting a handsome and rich husband when you Transmigrate. I would love it. But when he realize the truth he stop dreaming and face reality. He is cruel to the ML actually. 😆 Something that I like. Because when you feel Indiffenrent, not hate, thats mean no love left. Fortunately the ML can make the love grow again. Because like ML said, if he lose the last chance he had. He will really lose the MC.

The ml. Well he is your typical cold blooded gong in Chinese novel. But I like that he fell in love not instantly. He though of the MC from 4 years ago. It just at the back of his mind. It exist but not a priority. Just a segmen of it. Thats way he tried to contact the MC after he found out the baby. If he didnt had any feeling he will take the baby forcefully or just ignore them. He didnt do it. Thats is caring that gradually become love when he knows MC and baby personal. Something he is thank full in fullness I think😁

Overall, this is a good novel. The pace are ok. The characters other than the main had personality and reason for their behavior. Not just a wallflower. I havent reach the ending but I hope it good too. Please read the novel. The translator did a good job you know <<less

Yeah this is another type of story about MC get pregnant and ML come to bring back his ex and child bcs he notice how MC change.

There is nothing special, just like another story that I have been read, but if you want this type of dog blood drama with fluffy and quick make up from what happen in past, you can try it.

Cute. Short. Both well written and translated.

The story have a little to do with a plot, rather concentrated on feelings and it does it's job well.

I enjoyed the novel, even though I rarely try something with children in it (getting pretty annoying withe their storyline or dialogs)
