frankly speaking, it was an okay read. I didn't love it. I also didn't hate it. it was enjoyable.

if the story wasn't from lou yao yao's pov... she would have been the villain. and she was the villain.

regardless if the chen guy was a scumbag or not, lou yao yao was responsible for her actions.

she straight up mu*dered her sister and an unborn child. and later, in the story's timeline, didn't do anything when she saw her sister move in with a despicable human being who was arrested for abucting a child.

and sure the sister wasn't nice (basically a green tea kinda b*tch) but lou yao yao was also an entitled brat. I'm supposed to root for her?

the main character is the reason why I don't love this story. I like it, but I don't love it.

i like the fact that the story isn't focused on revenge. she just wants to live well with the man that loves her.

which is nice...i guess. he kinda enables her a lot.

honestly, not a fan of most characters here. I can count in my hand the ones I did like.

the mom. she gets an A+ from me ! she's not the warmest mom in the world but I love how sure of herself she is and how she truly sticks to her principles regardless of who she is talking to. hell! she even took in her scumbag husband's child! never once abused her or make her do anything. sure she isn't really doting on her but like she's not really a doting kind of mom to begin with.

the aunties are cute. ride or die b*tches!

the best friend who was always supportive to lou yao yao's b*tchy ass.

ML is meh to me. I love that he's devoted but honestly? he just don't act like a real human being. more like a puppet.

all in all, a junk food kinda read. <<less

FL is so childish, with poor judgment, which resulted in her ruining her life and the lives of those around her, but after her death she goes back in time, this made her understanding who were the ones that truly cared for her and who didn’t, she would treat those good to her wholeheartedly, and ignore those who were once bad to her, this made me feel so warm inside! It is such a good and pleasing read.

At first, I was hesitant to read because of the cover illustration. I think it will like some teenage cliche novel. But I was wrong! Hooray! I am very glad that I try to read it first instead of judging the book by its cover (better to not repeat it again in the future).

About the leads, congratulations for both, they are perfectly matched with each other. LYY was very lucky to have a devoted QZ as her life partner (in which I hope that there will be one QZ too for me). But joke aside, the story was really great, no unnecessary and prolonged dramas. Even though the length of the story seemed shorter compared with the usual c-novel, however it... more>> made the story felt straightforward which is I like it.

Finally, thank you for the author and the translators bringing up this beautiful story. All in all, highly recommended. I surely will read this again after some time. <<less

The story gets a solid 4 for me I love that it is short and the drama is kept to a minimum.

The FL is a lucky girl, selfish and arrogant but overall not a bad person just a bit spoiled and with her strong willfull temper she managed to make the ML fall in love with her and he is a bit wimpy so he isn't the one to take the initiative in this relationship.

I love that they show the FL as a normal person with her good sides and... more>> flaws and the ML sees all of that but loves her anway. There was no concentration on obtaning revenge or making other people miserable just trying to improve herlsef after rebirth and I do appreciate that.

The locked chapters were annoying since there wasn't even any smut why lock them? Thanks for the translation we love to complain even tough we are getting free high quality translations ^_^ <<less

heyyyy!!! This novel is very touching! Salute to the loyal male lead until the end. I am happy that they got their happy ending. Villains got their pay back. Our MC finally opened her eyes and really sees those who really care about her.

What to say....

3/4 of the story from the beginning to the middle are really great! It wasn't Spectacular or anything, but really Enjoyable Great! But then the rest till the end, while it was Nice, it was the Edible Plain Simple kind of nice... That's what I felt anyway. Others might have different opinion.

It wasn't a Faceslapping novel. But it is about Revenge. Though MC's revenge was very simple. Being Vicious/Uncaring in Public toward her Ex and her Rival, and that's it! The most revenge probably is she has Happy... more>> Life while those two suffering now with their life.

It was pretty simple straight forward Novel. It wasn't what I expected but it wasn't bad either. 4 point for the story, plus 1 for the Main Characters. <<less

The illegitimate sister could have gotten together with CH if this was just another cliche novel but she instead chose goodbye. Even Lin Fei (who CH would marry only for benefits) decided to pursue CH (knowing very well that this man was as bad as men can be) because she loved him truly despite being sh*t to her love rivals.

And for those who feel that MC is too arrogant or flippant, just think a little. Why should a person who got a second chance at life ruin it by being solemn ?? She's twenty, she's gonna act twenty. Even easily excited or extroverted do not necessarily make bad decisions. Let the MC live. <<less

Actually enjoyed this one and have this on my I can reread and still enjoy list. If you like the ‘villainous rich girl gets a redo’ story this will satisfy that itch and it’s a fairly quick read.

I was baited by the premise; I think I just have a soft spot for my villainess girls getting a happy ending. The face-slaps were satisfying, the romance was a bit lacklustre but I wholeheartedly love ML’s personality. I dig the whole villainess x white knight approach. He adores every side of her & I love how she’s pretty transparent with him.

Very sweet and fluffy short story. The FL is not your average Rebirth girl, she doesn't become OP or very smart, she keep the same personality (selfish and spoilded) but she has the maturity and she can tell who really loves her. The ML is very sweet and this story was very good because of his relationship with her.

The FL regrets her past so she went back in time to fix those mistakes.

Though the FL can be a bit selfish at times, I honestly could see why, she’s been spoiled since she was young with barely anyone to point out her bad habits that as time pass, she got used to it.

A story about how a woman lets go of her manipulative, unrequited love and chooses the one who actually loves her.

As the title says, truly a story about a woman who is vicious. Some of her actions made me feel bad

The pacing was perfect and enjoyable. I'm glad everything went well in the end. The "villains" had their proper retribution, and I was nicely satisfied ;)

Me too! A breath of fresh air to read with a no-hold barrel FL and a ML who courageously love. After all, someone needs to take responsibility. :)

Qin Zhi deserves his happy ending. His pov at the end made me cry.

This is not a revenge story, the description is a bit misleading. Her revenge is to ignore people's opinion and ignore those cheaters. And nurture his relationship with his childhood friend. By ignoring them, she stopped the chain of events that lead to her and QZ tragic end.

I think in a way, she did love QZ before he met Chen Hao. She was just so bent on competing with her sister. The root cause of all the... more>> problems is jealousy. Her ignoring them and focusing on those people who loves her most makes this MC smart. You have got your second chance in life. Don't waste it on the negative.

She is childish but from her pov, it was because she became very serious in her previous life and you'll realize a lot of people doted on her no matter how childish she is because she's really not a bad person and a lot of old people, as well as her circle of childhood friends likes her very much <<less

Hands down one of the most bittersweet and best short novels. It had rebirth, a bit of satisfying face-slapping, realistically written characters, and of course, fluff. It even tactfully touched on important topics like mental illness and a mother's love (or lack thereof). This honestly made me tear up. Her wistfulness, the youth she lost, the new life she's struggling to get right. All hit right in the feels.

hmmn. I had to drop this one coz it can hold my attention anymore. There's not enough mystery and action. I just feel like there isn't enough action and the confrontations between characters are too repetitive.

Kinda loved the novel... About LYY who had a chance to change her life... With her second chance she corrected all her mistakes in her past life and treasure all the people around her... Although some of the character like LQQ actually quite pitiful.. Glad that LYY finally get her happy ending with QZ.. about CH, he is too a*****e to have ended with someone else... Good thing he is solo...
