One day, as usual, Annabelle remembered the memories of her previous life.

It was revealed that she has been reincarnated as the second most popular character in a novel.

She also did all kinds of bad things to the male lead, and in the end, she is the person who will end up in prison!

‘In the end, I’ll get caught. It’s crazy!’

Anabelle begins to save Ian from danger by intercepting the conspiracies that were laid out one by one to prevent her impending doom.

But in the process, she caught the attention of some unexpected people…

wow... wow...

this was amazing!!! I loved the obvious but still unnoticeable at first glance foreshadowing, and the romance is so cute!! Annabelle is so funny and I empathize with Ian... I too want to be cursed by her. I wish the author explained why Annabelle, a minor villain who had no actual role in the original story, had such a deep and explained backstory. Also, the (actual) villains are somewhat shallow. It's not as if they don't pose a threat, but their motives are very lightly explained. For example, Lagian:... more>> I definitely laughed at him when his cause for hating Annabelle was revealed, but I couldn't help but feel it was too light. I expected something like 'Annabelle cursed his mother and called him thin and lanky in her childhood', or 'Lagian had a deep crush on Annabelle in their childhood but she cursed and humiliated him and unlike our M Ian, Lagian did not like it as much'

I can find almost none other flaws than this, other than it ended too soon. I hope I find a similar novel in terms of quality soon! <<less

This novel was considered quite light although MC had a hard past, maybe because MC herself had an easy going personality. I must say that MC's personality was quite refreshing. She considered herself as a small-time villainess and didn't want anything to do with other people's problem but when it came to the people she cared about, she didn't hesitate to do anything. But she also could be annoying sometimes but not to the point of being unlikeable.

ML was less remarkable than MC. He had a standard cold and aloof... more>> personality but he was quite passionate as a lover. Their romance development was a bit slow although ML already realized his feeling much earlier and they're only officially together after more than 100++ chapters.

The ending was very satisfying although I still wanted to point out one inconsistency in this story.

It's about the different between ML in the original story and the current ML. ML said he fell in love with MC at the first sight but his feeling gradually cooled down due to MC's constant insults. But when he thought that MC was died (in his drunken state), he was quite sad and heartbroken so it proved that he still liked her.

But why in the original story, ML easily thrown MC to jail? MC was indeed at fault too but it was Reid who planned and executed all those bad things. And later, he easily moved on to the saintess and event took the initiative to gave her his medal. Although their chemistry was a bit off but they're together anyway. Meanwhile MC had to spend her days in jail.

Points for having great side characters. Leslie, Aaron and Braden are my favourites.

ML is little dense but awesome, FL a little annoying at times but still great.

I don't like to write long reviews, only thing that this story lacked is a good villain. Crown Prince, Empress and Marquis are not very good at what they are supposed to be, and that is an obstacle. But still, I give it a 5 stars because it made me laugh and I've read it in 2 days because I couldn't stop.

I can't explain how much I love this novel! The drama is just the right amount as to not make you feel frustrated, and the comedy is top tier I seriously can't stop laughing once I start reading XD! And the romance is ~PERFECT~

I definitely recommend!!

Awesome story! Female lead is not dense. I like how straightforward the ML is and there are no extra weird drama. The romance is so sweet !! And the progression of the relationship is very smooth and not awkward at all! This novel def become one of my favorite novel that I wont mind re-reading

fascinating world building and the isekai reincarnation element is handled well too. MC needs both modern world knowledge but still continues to be a person of the new world rather than her old one.

the male lead is hilarious in his naivity and how much he doesn 't know his own heart. Poor guy keeps trying to win her over without even knowing why he does it. The MC is badass and doesn't try to become a saintess but keeps her snappy personality. And the actual saintess is great too!

It’s so dmn good! The characters are young adults where the author balanced their mature and immature traits well. I love stories that focused on character developments so much and this novel has done it so well without neglecting the plot progression or focusing too much on the characters. The conversations between characters were also written sensibly.

Overall the main characters are so cute and I find myself looking forward to their growth. I can feel the charm of a coming of age enemies to lovers, I’m very obsessed.

Honestly this is my first time writing review here. So pardon me if about the starts cause IDK how it works. But I must rate 2/5

I just read until chapter 8, and I was really disappointed and there is uncomfortable feelings while reading it. Basically, I can imagine what the plot will be based on the synopsis and I must say it was interesting (without the sudden flashback of former live tho) rival to lovers troupe.

First, the ML is really irks me, his description is that someone who is cold... more>> and indifference. Ok, let say it like that but then the FL sudden difference, he suddenly interested on her even tho for the past 8 years he always ignore her?? It’s too abrupt and no development imo.

Second, idk in what chapter the ML will learn about the FL’s poor background and he suddenly feel a bit guilty? Like he doesn’t know her at all. I mean what have you been doing for the past 8 years??? No information at all? When your mother knows about it?

Third, the ML is a heir of the DUKE but HE’S NOT INTERESTED IN POLITICS OR SOCIAL AND ONLY SWORD??? That’s why he doesn’t know anything at all about the FL past or the rumors? I think it’s not make sense when you basically have a high title to not know about your surroundings. Welp, can’t survive in politics then.

So, basically I have problems with the ML and can’t like him at all even I tried. The chemistry between the ML and FL seems weird to me, the plot is interesting actually IF without the reincarnation or novel plot. I like the lieutenant more than the ML tbh. <<less

The story is really good it also have some comedy. The foreshadowing is super obvious like it is shoving in your face that this is what the MC is. It's predictable that it gets boring.

The ML is insane, I mean that in an endearing way. If that makes any sense. So the dynamic and the development of the romance between ML and FL is incredibly entertaining.

kind of predictable after a while, but it's fun and entertaining while it lasts. Tbh the male lead is boring (his mama ain't lying) but the rest of the cast is great.

completed, so totally binge-able, the translations seem a little wonky halfway through though, but still fine.

There's nothing particularly good or bad about it. They're not exactly subtle about foreshadowing which took a lot of the good drama out of things. FL is not pitiful enough to make you feel bad about her initial situation and too OP for any real character growth. Same with the ML. The side characters are equally boring. The good guys are good and the bad guys are bad.

If you're looking for something to pass time, go ahead. But surely there's something better to read.

1 of my all time favourites, hands down. The main leads are so cute and funny together it´s really hilarious. I really applaud the author for they character just compliment each other like a match made in heaven. The story is a bit naive but a great light read nonethless.

So yeah, it may make the rest of the plot developments less exciting, because it is likely MC knows how it happens more than/atleast as much as the reader does. I also like the supporting characters, the villains not too much bec I felt that the story would be more complex if they were better written/characterized.

I almost expected the story to steer to the mature/s*xual side, almost but not quite.

For the length, I am satisfied with how much was covered and how things were paced. I like these lengths as it's not too long and burdensome compared to having a monotous, repetitive story stretched to be 2x this long. <<less

It was intriguing at first but I dropped it at Chapter 136. It just became boring with the flow of the story. Since I have read novels like this, it didn't make any impact like other novels in the same category. Same kind/personality of FL and ML. The plot is also the same like other novels albeit there were some few distinction but it just felt boring. A decent story ruined by barely legible edited MTL garbage.

The premise is the usual fare, with a modern reincarnator taking over the body and memories of a villainess in a one-sided rivalry with the local swordmaster ubermensch. After that, we have the usual death-flag dodging and misunderstandings common in the genre, with fun side-characters, a slow burn romance, and a couple of plot twists and turns.

Unfortunately, the translation pretty much butchers the prose and ruins many of the character interactions, so I can't recommenda it in good faith.

The side characters are awesome! The MC's family is interesting, hehe.

The MC and ML are fairly decent. I don't understand some of the MC's logic (but I suppose that was created for the misunderstanding/drama), but overall they were fairly realistic and not s*upid. The villains were a bit flat though.

I think the overall plot was a bit dull and predictable, although there were interesting moments.

I dropped it because once the conflict was over it became less interesting to me.

I think this one is a light plotted novel. Well written, refreshing, cute and fun to read. Not to the point that got me super obsessed with the novel though, maybe because it was a light plotted kinda story, but overall I enjoy my time reading this novel! Recommended~

It was really good. I've seen this story a long time ago but ignored it because I thought it'll be cliché. But I was wrong. The FL doesn't remember her past life the moment she was born, instead she already made mistakes and only remembered it when she's 22. The ML, though annoyed by the FL's attitude before didn't do anything hateful before the FL remembered her past life.

Anyway, the author's creativity especially about the three origins of black magic is commendable. I didn't even know the last 2 stories... more>> where the 2 origins of black magic are based from.

Also, is it weird that my favorite character is not the FL, ML 2nd ML or the villain but the supporting character— His Majesty the Emporer. I mean, he's just too cute when he's being a swordmanship fanatic lol. Especially the time when he reenacted the time where Annabelle dealt with the assassins. He even made the sound effects himself HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Lastly, the only regret I have is not being able to know who's Robert partner. Ah. No, I'm not very interested in that actually. It just that I already imagined a scenario where Annabelle and Ian's daughter wanted to became the imperial knight commander and Robert's son, became friends with her.

Anyway, 10/10. I'm actually hesitating for that rating since I thought that compare to the previous stories I've read with the same genre and theme, it's pretty simple but I appreciate the simplicity. Though simple, it's not really bad or mediocre. No major misunderstandings, it's funny and the characters are cute and humorous. <<less
