Now, let's give my review about this. It feels to me like the author is constantly improving by voraciously devouring reviews and referencing their work to other series, the author constantly improves from the cons in the reviews and I feel like some parts are inspired from other works which is good because although I can see some similarities, it's small.
Pros:
* Both rival players are reincarnated in their game world and they're engaged in their 2nd life.
* Their interaction is cute.
* I have seen some people criticizing the power level ups... But they're totally wrong, they're forgetting to add factors, for our ML most of his powerups are consumables and evolution on his body while our FL gets most gears and new forms. Anyway, in the royal capital arc, the FL is more focused than the ML and she'll probably get her little justice there.
* Although they did some pretty embarassing things, I'm not having secondhand embarassment.
* The pace is consistent
* The character development and interaction is 3D.
* The world building is also great, it gives us the information we need before the author utilizes it during a climax.
* The execution is getting better by chapter, especially in royal capital arc, that was so freaking cool when it was revealed who's the one that killed our ML's master in the game, the author is improving his foreshadowing area.
* Slow romance, now I don't know if slow romance is generally good or not, but in this story, the slow romance fits best with its plot and actions.
* Great translation, one of a kind high-quality. God bless you Adar Terra
Cons:
* There are little angst, sense of danger, or thrill. Well, this got fixed on the royal capital arc, I would have given 4 stars if I didn't feel any of those in the royal capital arc. Now this feels like the author is really improving since most reviews contains this con, and I feel like they're learning from their mistakes.

I love this novel. I haven't read a story where the two main characters have such good chemistry. I've never been one to care much about plot, I care much more about characters. However, while the main premise isn't anything special, I haven't had anything to complain about it.

On the other hand, the characters, even the minor ones, are amazing. The ML is a little bit "Mary Sue-ish" power-wise, but he isn't unlikable so it's fine. He and the FL are on the same wavelength, and happen to be able... more>> to have conversations just through making eye contact with each other. To other people, it looks like they are always flirting by deeply gazing into each other's eyes. Overall, they are cute and funny together.

I don't want to go into too much depth, but this is currently my favorite story that I've read in years. A lot of scenes are dripping in honey, so if you don't like that, I'd be a little cautious. However, there's also plenty of well written action and plot scenes. <<less

Their interactions are hilarious and the plotline is good. Despite some of the cliché scenes, it's definitely worth the read.

TLDR; its a must read for the reasons of isekai adventure, comedy, and "romance".

This is a really good one.

The story is sensible & exciting.

And the characters isnt a one-dimensional-character. The ML is smart & cunning, while the FL is strong but cute. They make a funny couple too with all their banter.

As for the translation, as the tl said its an mtl, there are few awkward sentence early on, specially in the dialogue.
But the rest is totally smooth. And the tl is getting better.

And there are many tl notes that explain the foreign terms. And the tl constantly editing the chapters when he found mistake in translation later on. GJ

So far this has been a great story, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in the isekai genre at all. Actually, from the description this story didn't seem like my cup of tea at all, but I gave it a chance and I'm really happy I did.

But that's not why I'm here. No, I'm mainly here to give my kudos to the translator, who has done a damn amazing job and deserves a medal.

Story - 5/5

Translation - 11/10

Just plain amazing and probably the best isekai I have ever read. The best thing in my opinion are the 2 main characters and I would read the novel even if everything besides these 2 was sh*t. Absolutely recommend this

It's one of the bestestestest novels that i've ever read.

Love their comedic and adventurous story and ofcourse their slow paced romance. No rush, simply taking their time to develop their own feelings. Simply sweet.

It's nice how they realized early hand that there is no need for competition at all. Just whole support and reliance.

I just love them both💕

I'm normally too lazy to write reviews but this story is seriously great. The translator does a fantastic job and is constantly working to improve on the translation to keep it true to the original while still being easily understood in English.

I don't like reviews in MyAnimelist and Novel Updates platforms. It is because they are overflowing with the opinions of the "experts" who criticize stories without even having any idea about them.

For this novel it would be "sexist" comments. It is obvious they didn't even finish the Wild Lands arc but they feel they are qualified to write whatever they like. I mean, at least write just how much you read in the Status section.

Almost all of their points are wrong and the not wrong points are only true in... more>> the first arc. I won't try to answer all of them one by one. But you should know that at first they are like rivals always trying to one up the other. Trying to steal the last kills and getting the good items etc.

Their relationship progress in a slow pace. If you would like a day 1 romance story you should go to another novel. <<less

Good premise. But I become painful after ch 80. Hope it will better soon. Untill now only the FMC is held in high regards. Although they are together the romance is barely passing for romantic sub plot tag. MC is as not manipulative towards FMC as other describe, even in fights untill now only FMC got prominent scene. May be it will change later. If it changed I will update it. I didn't ask it to be a one day romance either. There are a lot of slow romance novel... more>> out there which is making a good scence, like second Life ranker, God of cooking etc. Some supposed 'expert' started criticizing other 'experts', he should know the difference between bad romance and slow romance. If you like these kind of main leads then it's your cup of tea, I am not stopping or blaming you for liking it, read and enjoy.

Spoiler

The FMC become more annoying as of late. I don't know how hitting someone is become a comedy. Subtle amount is acceptable but here it is overused, especially the explosion part on the wild lands arc. FMC looks like a elementary school child instead of teeanager. She is supposed to lived two lives of 17 years as of now. Many called this as sexist, I don't know what is with them, only FMC is gotten better as of now.

By saying this I am no way against female protagonist trope. Evem I like many of them. Most of my favourite female characters are stronger that thair partner. I like their partnership too like hirox zerotwo, in dungeon shepera MC and FMC.

For further classification the tried to create a multi protog series and faied.

Also the excessive skin ship with others but not with MC at the initial stage it's not denseness but bad portrayal by the author sure I am no skilled as the author in writing but I read enough novel to critize, but the elf women arc really satisfied me seeing the idiot FMC got the taste of her own medicine. But the MC is simp, it's become less effective.

Honestly the siblings romance is more wholesome and better then what the MCs ever will be.

  • Great compatibility
  • Practicly no romance until latter half
  • The reincarnators have good paste (except for romance)
  • Nice character growth
  • Their journey is quite detailed then the destination
  • Clearly defined roles for ML & FL
After the romance development (or more specifically when Cordelia finaly realises) There is a lot of sweet stuff that's is hard to find and so detailed. Most of the time is just oh first time and stop or kiss and stop but here there is a bit of a context.

Spoiler
  • First of all ML & FL get different gear and most say that FL gets almost nothing but thats not the case because FL gets the most, sure ML got few items in the start but latter on better stuff is for FL and her free skill book too. So it's ML gets less and FL more.
  • he romance starts at the second arc when FL finally realised that she is engaged (quite slow), but latter on they do quite naughty stuff and it's written in quite detail for not R-18 and R-15
  • The ending is rushed quite a bit even author admitted. There could have bees more sweet moments near the end.
  • In the side stories not clear who Lucas chose. No ML & FL children. No FL elder brother romance. No time skip like in 100 years or so. In side stories few characters got cut off like sword spirit or spirit of FL wand.
[collapse]

But with all of that it's still a very good story, recording.

Quite love it. A good example on how novel about gamers should be made.
There were more attempts at writing two MC under trope of [multiplayer], like Vermillion, but that one is weaker.

This novel was nothing special but still, I loved it. Why ?

1. This is one of the rare "Protagonist falls in love first" tag novels. This genre of novels show that the Author is skilled. Other examples of such awesome novels are SSS-Class su*cide Hunter, Martial Arts Master and so on. Most novels, either JP, KR or CN, all conveniently make the female lead fall in love first, but the ones who do the opposite are rare and are AWESOME !!!

2. Honestly, the plot was nothing special but still the... more>> dynamics between the characters kept me going. The ridiculous pairing of almost every character in the novel was somewhat pleasing to see. This is one of the most ideal novels ever.

3. Also, almost everything is properly explained regarding so-called "transmigration" and the various cliches are also properly explained. Most KR novels don't do this properly. This is a plus for me.

4. Also, I like this Author's works, namely Valhalla Saga and Dungeon Maker. He is gradually improving his writing skills, which is nice to see.

5. Man, the side-stories in this novel felt like a treasure to me. Especially the development between Outboxer009 and Yellow Storm. That was awesome.

Anyways, give it a try !!! <<less

I really enjoyed reading this novel.

At times I, too, were angry that FL get less stuff than ML but it resolved fast.

Just like Nine Doors for ML there are Angel mode for FL.
Spoiler

Also ML have something like Yin Yan body while FL have Fallen Angel mode but both didnt use it this much lol

[collapse]

ML calculated 80% of actions but another 20% problems that FL had resolved included life or death situations or great lack of time. ML couldn't overcome these by himself (well. Maybe could but 90% other characters would die). FL's actions and quick brain turned the scales many times.

Also FL learned how to scam people too. But I am not sure if I should be happy about that...

And etc

My only complaint is a lack of events and stuff for non-swordmen (like
Spoiler

tournaments and "Sword Horizon"

[collapse]
)

So I think its just that Author faild to apportion their attention between two characters with different game job and focused too much on ML so FL's contribution was less visible for reader (but it was still important!).

Romance is not top notch there thanks to extra's interruptions but I really enjoyed characters' interaction that are great for action fantasy novel. Not only Main Leads but even Extras are cute, funny and cool!

Spoiler

Also I like that there are happy ending. Even "Earth's selves" got it (in side stories). Pretty much everything (like items or skills' origin) was logical what is uncommon in 300+ chapters novel.

[collapse]

I definitely recommend to try this novel (and not be so categorical) !

So, what is this Legend of Heroes 123?

Seriously, I don't know. It's a figment of author's imagination within this imaginary story titled Ending Maker. Is it dating game, online game, fighting game, online dating fighting game? scenario this that, protagonist he she it they, bleh whatever.

Earlier example, the MC got chomusuke, it's a condition of having too much of a ding and probably lack of a dong. In a game, this would be a debuff, yeah there would be description, but it's a debuff, the end. Here however, the ding... more>> is acclimated in there dandelion, body part this that yadayada mehmeh... just what is this fictional pseudo cardiologists simulator or something?

Anyway, you got the point, it sounds too detailed for a game.

Now, the story is more or less what I expected, find this item, find that person, save this person. You can't share this hype with the reader can't you? There're no sense of exploration or exhilaration because everything seems predetermined. if the MC knows everything anyway, the story ends there.

To be fair, there're lots of 'people got stuck in game world' stories out there and I do like some of them. This one, however, is mediocre at best. <<less

It's a really good read! The romcom between the two players and the progression of them realizing that the characters ingame were slowly and surely become "Them" as well! Reasons why I gave this 4 out 5 its because I felt like the ending was rushed. And honestly author could've added more on the surroundings as Jude and cordelia achievements.

oh and one more, I really felt like the MC "Jude" was becoming more of a side character cause It was always the praises of cordelia being pretty and such and... more>> having angel power ups <<less

Chwiryong is one of my favorite authors, I have read all his novels (released till date 11/4/2021) . And I loved all of them.

But this one aka Ending Maker is my favorite. I especially love the writing style in this one.

The only sad part is that there is no training time, rather there is but it is hidden?.

... more>> None the less, the reasons given for the power-ups in a short period of time are valid and logical.

At first I thought it will be like one of those novels in which you get reincarnated/teleported to a game world. BUT it is not that at all. Trust me, the story is worth it.

Only, the ending felt a bit rushed. But the side stories made up for it.

If I have to compare this novel with another one , it's kinda like

'THE SECOND COMING OF GLUTONY'.... kinda...

This story looks to have potential, the world seems interesting, and the writing is solid. Despite that, I can't get over the one glaring flaw in these first few chapters. Jude and Conelias dynamic.

I don't think it's sexism, I can see where people are coming from on that one; instead, my main gripe with the dynamic is Jude comes off as a huge a**hole. He Doesn't explain his plans beforehand, steals kills, and then makes it so Cornelia has to fight a powered-up boss on the fly. This all deals... more>> with the chemistry aspect of the characters, It's hard to see the chemistry when he is constantly provoking the other party.

On the more technical side of the dynamic, I also have an issue already. They state that Jude is more of a strategist, where Cornelia is better in a straight fight. Then during the first real fight, instead of showcasing Cornelias competence after 10 chapters of almost solely focusing on Jude, they focus on how good of a support Jude is. <<less

It's a pretty good novel, I'll admit. There is both character development & romance, both are slow, which I don't particularly mind. The slow romance fits well with this novel. I enjoyed the first ~80 chapters, the action and the character interactions were interesting. However.

Theres a couple of problems, but I'll state the most obvious one. Due to the setting being a game world, the plot progresses sort of like "events". They meet a character, solve a problem, and get rewarded. Of course, it's a little bit different based on... more>> the character, but it generally remains the same. This results in most of the characters being 1d. 90% of the dialogue with other characters are just the ML and FL flirting. I wish the author wouldn't treat every character like a NPC and abandon them right after the "event/reward" is over.

Another problem. According to some reviews, it apparently gets better after the wildlands arc, but so far it's pretty boring. So far it's just been fight an enemy, blow up the surroundings, rinse and repeat. It feels like everything is just filler at this point.

Overall, I highly recommend this novel. The romance and plot in general is pretty good. It seems to fall off around chapter 90 or so, but apparently it gets better. <<less
