Now, let's give my review about this. It feels to me like the author is constantly improving by voraciously devouring reviews and referencing their work to other series, the author constantly improves from the cons in the reviews and I feel like some parts are inspired from other works which is good because although I can see some similarities, it's small.
Pros:
* Both rival players are reincarnated in their game world and they're engaged in their 2nd life.
* Their interaction is cute.
* I have seen some people criticizing the power level ups... But they're totally wrong, they're forgetting to add factors, for our ML most of his powerups are consumables and evolution on his body while our FL gets most gears and new forms. Anyway, in the royal capital arc, the FL is more focused than the ML and she'll probably get her little justice there.
* Although they did some pretty embarassing things, I'm not having secondhand embarassment.
* The pace is consistent
* The character development and interaction is 3D.
* The world building is also great, it gives us the information we need before the author utilizes it during a climax.
* The execution is getting better by chapter, especially in royal capital arc, that was so freaking cool when it was revealed who's the one that killed our ML's master in the game, the author is improving his foreshadowing area.
* Slow romance, now I don't know if slow romance is generally good or not, but in this story, the slow romance fits best with its plot and actions.
* Great translation, one of a kind high-quality. God bless you Adar Terra
Cons:
* There are little angst, sense of danger, or thrill. Well, this got fixed on the royal capital arc, I would have given 4 stars if I didn't feel any of those in the royal capital arc. Now this feels like the author is really improving since most reviews contains this con, and I feel like they're learning from their mistakes.
But the rest is totally smooth. And the tl is getting better. And there are many tl notes that explain the foreign terms. And the tl constantly editing the chapters when he found mistake in translation later on. GJ
- Great compatibility
- Practicly no romance until latter half
- The reincarnators have good paste (except for romance)
- Nice character growth
- Their journey is quite detailed then the destination
- Clearly defined roles for ML & FL
After the romance development (or more specifically when Cordelia finaly realises) There is a lot of sweet stuff that's is hard to find and so detailed. Most of the time is just oh first time and stop or kiss and stop but here there is a bit of a context.There were more attempts at writing two MC under trope of [multiplayer], like Vermillion, but that one is weaker.
Also ML have something like Yin Yan body while FL have Fallen Angel mode but both didnt use it this much lol
Also FL learned how to scam people too. But I am not sure if I should be happy about that...And etc My only complaint is a lack of events and stuff for non-swordmen (liketournaments and "Sword Horizon"
Also I like that there are happy ending. Even "Earth's selves" got it (in side stories). Pretty much everything (like items or skills' origin) was logical what is uncommon in 300+ chapters novel.
