As someone who enjoy survival game theme a lot and this type of MC & ML I already knew I was gonna like this BUT I didnt know I would enjoy it THIS MUCH

After reading the earth is online (which is my fav novel btw) not any survival game novel came in close to being perfection but globial examination changed this, it was amazing like just read it please also thank you to translator for doing a fantastic job as usual, I read other novels they translated too, their translations... more>> are good and easy to understand <<less

Enjoyed it!

Some good points I wanna highlight!:

    • Even though this has a horror tag and it is quite gory in some chapters, you really don't feel that much fear while reading it because ducking MC just freaking makes you laugh with how he manages the situation. Like you just can trust this MC to break every tension with his actions lol he's really too cool in every sense.
    • Romance wise is a bit on the slow side but there are lots of interaction between MC and ML so it is quite nice to read. Also once they are together, they are both a bunch of sweethearts. Even the "cold" MC is quite lovely with his ML. ML is just so good to our MC like he's his companion in every sense possible. Love these two.
    • About characters. You end up liking or feeling some type of empathy for the side characters here. You won't feel that there are any pure evil like people really but more like each has something they lost or might lose during the story and it's heartwarming as it is heartbreaking.
    • Translation was pretty good!
Now some bad sides (?:

    • I had a bit of trouble because of the writing style I think. Maybe because I like more description in it? And sometimes it wasn't really clear about some scenes. The switch in pov was a bit confusing for me sometimes in some moments. But that is just my take on it. A big point, though, it's that it has such nice phrases that are really satisfying to read.
    • There were some minor things you might get dissatisfied about the novel (some plot holes/unexplained and confusing parts?) but the story overall was solid and nicely made.
    • No extras! The story ends well and I'm glad how it ended but I'm a bit curious about what happened to some other side characters because they don't mention some of them at the end and I'm a bit sad about it. (They mention like 80% of them but I wanted to know about the other 20% too) Also a little bit more of MC and ML is never a bad thing lol.
The story is worth reading if you like supense, a bit of horror and comedy and romance mixed in with both MC and ML being nicely OP and a great team.

Global University Entrance Examination is a really good book even though the name sounds weird (I mean I found it weird tbh). Anyway I found the book very Interesting, not in the beginning though. The first 10 chapters or so are kind of boring and very confusing, but don't give up yet cause later on it gets very interesting. VERY. And when the romance comes in it's damn good. I mean you could feel the chemistry between the MC and the ML. This is actually one of the best enemies... more>> to lovers books I've read.
I still have a lot to read though. But trust me, this was good. And I also loved the side characters. They were all pretty good. And it was funny how they all handled the examinations. The plot was amazing like how everything was explained in the end and how it all made sense, unlike some novels where the plot has no meaning at all.
This book was a really thrilling and exciting journey and I loved every part of it. Although I still think the romance could have been a little bit more intense. But I would recommend this book to any reader cause it was well written and translated. <<less

On the surface, the instances seemed to have a proper method to clear it, but in actuality, if you follow it you'll meet your demise instead. (I agree a bit with reviewer Achiless)

You have to be like the protagonist, who posseses both ability and luck (or plot armor).

It looked like the MC used some alternate and 'fresh' method, but if you think carefuly, his method should be the 'only' true one or closest to the true one. You simply cannot think of any other method that allowed you to... more>> be intact.

The system are supposed to be corrupted or have some sort of error, so it should be normal for them to create crazy instances. However it's still illogical that despite it being almost unsolvable, there are actually a lot of survivors in the later part of the stage. Those people doesn't even perform well.

However, no worries, even if the instances are illogical and unfeasible in the real simulation, as a fiction you can still enjoy it. They're still fresh and interesting.

Just don't bother to waste your brain power to participate solving the instances. No matter how smart you're, it's impossible.

Moreover, the story strong points must be of course the MC and ML's interaction and dynamic, and the comedy around the misunderstanding of their past identity. It's very hilarious.

They are not much of actual enemy imo. But their banter and position do feel like they aren't getting along. People around them also misunderstand their relationship. I recommend Thriller Trainee as example of better enemy-to-lover.

I really really love the author's use of comedic undertone. The only downfall is when something drama-potential happen, it can be quite anticlimatic because of the comedy. (However I still won't exchange the comedy for the drama.)

However because I mostly focused on the couple dynamic and their identity reveal, after they became a couple, I don't feel much enganged with the story anymore. The mystery (up to the point I read) is not that shocking and - dare I say - a bit predictable. Maybe I haven't reach the plot twist part, but I found that any twist will also feel anticlimatic.

In conclusion: Even if you don't care about the instances or don't like the genre, you can still enjoy the book a lot. At least read until you feel bored (it's not disrespectful). I highly recommended to read this novel.

Rating: I took off one star because I don't have much interest with the instances and the actual mystery. (4/5 or 8/10) <<less

This is such a good book. I love the concept and world building on the exams and system. Very different from other books. You won't regret reading it. I binged the whole thing in 2 days with almost no work done

This book is soooooo cool 🤩🤩🤩!!!!!!!!

From now on it is my number 1 Novel

MC and ML those two troubelmakers are so fuuny, cool, devoted to each other and they are bickering like an old married couple haha.

Everything about this book is amazing, there is so much action and dog food 😍 its never boring, every character is precious and has a deep meaning, the story is so interesantnig I have binge read it and even forget to eat these 3 days.

Literally one of the best things I ever read it‘s so freaking good!!

I needed quite some time to start this novel and bring myself to read it because I already read so many webnovels that most new novels were kinda boring or wayyy to unlogical written which somehow made me feel my IQ dropped after reading them lmao

But GUEE is funny, good written, nice romance and has a nice plot!
Plus the translation is really good and complete, all in all it‘s now my favorite webnovel ever

I re-read the novel for 2x already. The relationship is so healthy. They looooveeeee each other so much

The ML and MC are so badass. Nobody can bully them.

The plot is so well written. There's some angst, funny, sweet moments

Absolutely brilliant!!! Loved it!!! The characters are brilliant, the story is more so... there is never a dull moment at all... the main characters and the show characters are amazing... if it's a must read... it's very thrilling till the end... thanking the author and the translators for this gem of work...

This is definitely a must read.

And yes, the manhua adaptation led me here.

I initially had doubts on reading this because of the horror tag (not that I hate it, I'm just not good with the horror genre). But WOW, this novel blew my mind. You may probably find or see that the first 30 or 40 chapters lack the ~romance~ aspect BUT NO because it seriously gives you the feels. Its really something worth to read, everytime you click next chapter you're presented with something absolutely unexpected and I... more>> love that, its not cliche and predictable, well I mean, the premise is interesting enough for you to guess certain things about the MC and ML.

But the way its written and the dynamics of the characters are all well-executed! Some sort of dystopia-ish concepts that you'd never expect, but really, this was such a beautiful read.

If you're hesitating because of some of the reviews, like I did, don't! And you just have to persevere through the horror and scary chapters because the ending is worth it, everything is totally worth it. The horror or scary chapters actually gave me the shivers lol.

All in all, I really loved this. Probably my 2nd favorite CP after Zhaoyu, everything they do is sexy. If you're not good with horror, I recommend reading this in an area full of light haha.

Well, I hope more people get to know and read this. Full 5 stars! <<less

The best novel in my list!!!! I love this novel and the story line is amazing!!

It feels so real when you started getting immersed in this story. Love the pair and will always been one of the best pairs I have shipped!!!!

This is the first novel I'm giving 5 stars. I like everything about this novel; the plot, the characters, the way the author builds the relationship between the MC & ML, together with the side characters. Of course, there are some plot holes, but I'll just see that as the way the author has her own fun, to leave us, readers, have our fun too to fill in those holes. I don't really mind. This novel has got everything there to ask : an interesting theme, excellent plot twists, humorous... more>> cracks, brilliant characters, strong bonds and of course, tasty horror ideas.

As a fan of a slow-paced romance, I really love the mysterious connections the author gives me in each chapter. It feels like opening a pandora's box, thrilling yet exciting at the same time. Then, I get so hooked on the strong bond between the MC & ML. I'm left with this " So.... that's love " kind of feeling. It's so heart-warming to know how selfless they are to each other, giving their all to their beloved regardless of everything. It's truly that "against-all-odds" kind of love. <<less

Personally, I really like the story, the construction of the world and the characters of this novel. Also, the translation is perfect, if you want to read this you don't need to worry about it. Now talking about the novel: The first chapters can be very confusing and when you read the third or fourth, you might think the relationship between the MC and ML is a bit cliche. But please give it a try, because the next few chapters are very good. The MC and ML: Both are very... more>> OP, like more than usual. I don't think this is bad, but if you want to see the MC weak at first and get stronger over time, I don't recommend this novel to you.

Now the last topic is the answers of the problems: The author makes that clear in the novel. The questions aren't exactly difficult, they just don't make sense. You don't need to be good at puzzles, mazes or word games, if you know general school subjects you can easily follow the story. However, the questions isn't about the subject at all, this is not the principal focus of the questions. <<less

RIP SYSTEM. The road of this novel is quite bumpy. My hands were shaking the whole ride! This story have lovable characters! The story revolves on You Hou, our shou and Qin Jiu our gong. Both of them are so romantic even if they're in the middle of a life and death situation. Get ready to be slap by tons of dog food out of nowhere! I somehow pity the system as everytime it appears, You Hou and Qin Jiu made it seen by the others as a joke!

Every chapter,... more>> my heart trembles out of excitement! I kept looking forward on how our protagonists will cast aside the system and just crash everything! Every examinee were trembling out of fear but our ML and MC were like 'Don't think about anything just destroy it!'

Even the side characters have their own spotlights. All of them were significant to the plot. I'm so happy that even if they're just side characters, the author didn't put them as mere cannon fodders. I love how everyone were loyal to our protagonists. Every action of the characters exceeds my expectations, to the point where sometimes even I forgot that their situation is dangerous.

Now now~ Let's eat dog food while holding our guns to fight alongside You Hou and Qin Jiu! <<less

This novel is quite interesting, ML and MC both have a very charming personality only problem I find in novel is plot holes..... MC suddenly gets the answer to questions or problems, making the person reading confused...... but overall I like the novel's main plot, MC and ML seem to hold an equal position in the novel, not like other novels where ML forces MC...I like that the smut part was not too detailed... to detailed smut makes the image of strong MC fall apart in readers eyes...... more>>

Let's just start with saying that the story is pretty funny to a point and it would probably be a fun read if you were to ignore the multiple plot holes and lack of details/explanation. I've only read the first few chapters but it is very clear that the readers won't be able to understand how the questions are solved. The author only states the question and then a couple hours later, in which there are some scenes happening between the ML and MC, and then the MC somehow just... more>> writes an answer. The mystery behind how he derived the answer is left unknown which seemed very bothersome to me especially considering that I would read these stories solely for the reason of romance and the clever MC's strategy. But I believe it would have still been a pretty fun read if you ignore all these 'mysteries'. <<less

A well written plot with a little bittersweet element. Though the MC and ML both are OP but there is a reasonable explanation for that.

their fate intertwining with each other even after their memories were wiped, was definitely the most bittersweet part of the whole novel.

The bad thing about this novel is, that I wasn't satisfied with the ending, I MEAN I NEED MORE OF THIS MASTERPIECE.

Who's going to tell me how to cope with the feeling of emptiness after finishing this.???.

I liked this novel - it had a nice amount of mystery (though sometimes the twists were a bit predictable, many times they were not). The world gets fleshed out with each exam, and each exam is an interesting scenario unto itself.

The characters' relationships with each other are amazing. Not just the relationship between the main couple, but all the side characters as well. I feel that this is where the story really shines - by the end, I'm so invested in everyone's story because they all feel so real.

If... more>> you want to read an interesting, continuous qt novel, this is a great one. It reminded me a bit of "Falling in love in the supernatural world", though I think I liked that one slightly better. This one didn't really have any interesting themes that it tackles (other than maybe the complexities of parental and familial love?). <<less
