I like the MC because he was so positive and quiet narcistic but not in bad way. Its freshes me up with an MC with this personality but the ML was so boring, dont get me wrong I like the ML but he was just boring, he always wants to find many ways to pursue the MC but end up of MC pursuing him.

I like the mc's personality but sometimes it become so annoying, his showing off is top notch, I tell you. The novel has 70 % showing off thrn 30% about their love and other people. It was funny but it would be annoying sometimes, I tried so hard to keep going since its completed but hmmm nah.

Its so boring but the translate is top notch. <<less

This is a story about a poor rich-guy! That sounds s*upid lol. Anyways, you will understand when you read the book.

On the first chapter, the author describes the novel as:

This is a happy, silly, and sweet novel. Really very silly, and really very entertaining! And also sweet! Maybe just a little flirty!

... more>> Thank goodness, MC isn't only about ML this, ML that! He has his own friends circle.

MC is really over the top, but also a bit naive and adorable kind.

Seriously, don't all these BL books be like only "bottoms" have swollen lips after a kiss? I want to laugh like crazy. Thank goodness, at least in this book, the "top" also gets his lips swollen after a kiss, lol.

Also, only these "tops" be like "I can't wait to eat you clean." Thank goodness, both MC and ML feel like that in this book.

Furthermore, when it comes to "bottoms", only other boys chase after them. But, the "tops" are chased by girls only. What a whack! Thank goodness, this s*upidity doesn't happen in this book!

Anyways, what you need to do is read a few chapters, and if you like the vibe, you will probably like the whole thing. If you get annoyed by the humor, you won't probably like it. <<less

Ahhhhhhh, I loved this novel! The MC is hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing while reading his inner monologues. The relationship between the MC and ML was super sweet and one of the healthiest I've seen in BL books. They actually trust each other without jumping to conclusions and creating misunderstandings which was totally refreshing and comparatively rare in Yaoi.

I personally loved how the MC bought products to take care of his peach (you know... to prepare for the papapa ;) and the way the MC educated the other harem... more>> members. This is definitely a silly, sweet feel good novel though so it's not for everyone. Keep that in mind and definitely give this a try!

This is my first time leaving a review here but this book was so good I had to. Not only is the main CP sweet, but the side CPs are sweet too. Although one of the side CP in the extras was such a surprise but a good one. Still, as sweet as the CPs are and as good as the story is, that’s not why I actually took the time to post this. It was so good I finished it in one day because I couldn’t put it down for more than 5 minutes.

I thought this was a fun read that got a little slow toward the end. Personally, I thought the novel would have been a lot better if about 50 or so chapters were cut. I completely skimmed past all of the unnecessary side couples. Regardless, it was still enjoyable and I do not regret reading.

The novel itself was a little rough at the beginning, in terms of writing and continuity. The author clearly improved as time went on, but there were numerous continuity errors that cause a bit of confusion if the translator didn’t explain what happened. Fewer continuity errors happened as the story progressed, which leads me to believe that the author simply improved as they were writing this novel.

A glaring issue is that I don’t believe the author ever explains where the MC original came from. What was his life like prior to transmigrating? Who was he? Who knows. Like, the transmigration element is slightly pointless, if not for the slight, but mostly insignificant, cheat it provides the MC. Not much would have changed in the plot if the MC just WAS the big boss character.

Regardless, this is clearly a comedy novel that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Which allows me to give it a pass on some of the more plot oriented issues.

I’m terms of characters, I really liked the MC. He’s smug, h**ny, and extremely narcissistic. I’ve read some similar MCs but he definitely takes the cake in terms of loving himself. I love the fact that he’s definitely flawed in this way, but the ML loves him in spite of his flaws.

MCs dynamic with the ML is fairly different from the standard danmei formula. Typically, the gong is a domineering, brooding, rich and powerful older man. In their case, MC is a power-bottom with a ton of power and money to spare. The ML is a younger, somewhat introverted gong who dotes on MC like a loving husband.

The plot is... okay. The antagonist wasn’t well-fleshed out but the face-slapping was generally on point. Honestly, there’s not a ton of plot but I guess it felt like there was some progression? ReAlly, the biggest focus was on MC and MLs romance which moved at a GLACIAL speed and it WILL annoy you.

The side characters were generally funny. Though the side romances I definitely could have gone with out.

Would I recommend this novel? Yes, it’s fun and doesn’t require a ton of brain power. It was a nice read while I veg out during my lunch break lol <<less

I like this story so much so lemme say something about it from my perspectives. Firstly, there is some other review saying the story (in its half way to the finish or sth) is looking down and insulting woman or sth. I was like WTH? hahaha, you should check back if your head still can be used.. Plus, I don't really think that, (as a woman), I feel it's looking down on woman, it's just the author is trying to say, you must not obey YOUR GREED. Hah, and also, even if you feel envy of his (the mc) life of wealth, let's not say that the original host of the body has given all of that to him. Lol, pretty funny how you said that it's affecting your impression of the novel since the novel is just kinda different of the other. (I don't think it's sth big, you know, like... the MC is just too lonely so he just want to amused himself with all kind of way) Haha, imagining you just come from another world to the new world all alone, I myself would feel lonely. Oh, I also think that I always feel strangely full every time, full of dog food T_T.. So, the moral is the story is just a FICTION, sometimes as a reader (that isn't purchasing anything kind of reader one at that), we just need to read it with an open-mindedness because it's just a story. OMG too funny!! Each chapter is full of MC hilarious comment & action. Warning! Do not read in public, or suffer trying to stifle your laugh. I admire ML who can be patient with such a hilarious MC.

this is my first time writing a review, and its one of my most favourite novel. This novel is a light hearted read with the MC being quite an air headed. A lot of people say that he is dumb and I agree, but its not kind of dumb that it becomes annoying. Instead, I found it as one of his charm and very entertaining. This novel will give you a stomachache with how much youre going to laugh. The romance is a bit slow, they had their first kiss... more>> in the 90-100 chapters I think. But ML has started to take a liking on MC early on, and the series of events while they’re not yet dating won’t make you feel bored. My favourite part is MC’s relationship with his CEO friends theyre just so funny lolol. The cons is just I hope they could elaborate in the background of MC in his previous life more; and there should be a confrontation between ML and his family (because of the extra, it felt like it was left hanging and something is missing) But other than a few plot holes here and there (which is not very noticeable) It is really a satisfying read so if youre debating wether to read this or not, I tell you: Read it now. <<less

Edit: Apparently I cannot give this 5 stars, this is just my second review, sorry about that QAQ

This is a great novel and I would 10/10 advise people to read it. The quality of the translation is also amazing, it's my first time reading through a google doc, but I would be delighted to do so again, because there are no pesky ads to worry about.

The text flows perfectly, and the little notes that the translator places in some chapters are never overwhelming and I feel like they taught me... more>> a lot, specially when talking about chinese posts and their relation with numbers.

The novel itself is funny, doesn't take itself too seriously, and I feel like the lenght is just right. I also like that the MC remains true to his goal: Become (even more) rich and get himself a little wolf dog! (Sometimes I do get a bit tired of him mocking the other supposed male leads and he just loves to refer himself as daddy, and keep his "Top" aura, but he is never too obnoxious)

I was never too worried about the OG!Shou thanks to our great MC, and our ML had me since the moment he showed up.

I also loved the extras!

Of course Tyrant Rong would participate in a variety show if it gets him exposure and the opportunity to brag about the 2 loves of his life: Money and Lin Ji. The little director and his husband A-ge were adorable as well, and I love to see evryone get a happy ending.

Assistant He Quian deserves all the happiness in the world, and after reading how obsessed he was with Sweet Pea, I was kind of expecting something to happen behind the scenes, but I was NOT prepared for the actual twist the author created.

Having the "plotline" attack the soulf of the OG!Rong Quing was awful, but I was not sad for too long, as he was able to keep on living as Sweet Pea. I really do think everyone got a happy ending, though I would have loved to see Tyrant Rong and Upperclassman Rong meet each other. Terrifying idea? Maybe, but I stand by it.

I was rooting for President Mu Cheng and Zibai-da ge to get together since they first showed up on the amusent park scene, and I can rest happily now. Plus, the accent lessons were a very creative take to make President Mu communicate easily with Zibai.

The story is Absolutely Soooo Great!!!! It was 100% better than my expectations!!! No part I find it boring or plain! Everything is Sooo Good!!! (Excluded Extras. Within reasons. See below)

The MC's personality; from Hilarious Fun and Great and Epic to get Cuter and Adorable and I Love him Soooo Much!!! His Shamelessness and Pe*vert thought remind me of the MC in The Perfect Destiny, except in this novel, he's not allowed to have s*x with anyone he's not in love and marry with.

Yes, the most important that make... more>> this novel unique is the MC who is a Proud Shou and want to have s*x is Forbid to have s*x using his Chrysanthemum until he's marry the love of his life!

ML's personality though, so Great ! I love how he was very wary at the beginning toward MC to start to found MC likable, and found him even more Adorable and hw want MC to fall for him even when he wasn't sure about his feeling toward MC. ML's brother-in-law though. God, I Love him and I wish we actually get Prequel or Extras about him and ML's brother... #disappointed

The Faceslapping though... I love Everything! Their Fans? Even more Amazing than any fans I know in any novel so far. Though that's because how MC able to control the Social Media about ML's images. It was soooooo Great, okay!!!

And there's also MC's Epic Friendship/Friendly Alliances with the other CEOs! It was So Fun and Soooo Great!!!

So Many Great thing and Funny thing in this Novel! I Love this Sooooo Much with all My Heart and My Soul for the Eternity and Beyond!!! 10/10

This is a silly, at times ridiculous novel with a bunch of eccentric and childish characters. You can tell that the author is young by their writing style and choice of characters. It really reminded me of my fanfiction-writing teenage days.

Considering the seemingly young age of the author, I won't criticize too much. Leaving aside the unrealistic number of ridiculously eccentric characters and their silly shenanigans, the one thing that bothered me the most was time/pacing. Oftentimes, I found myself confused by the ambiguous depiction of time. Like either the... more>> author uses a lot of time skips without warning or they make things happen in such a short amount of time that is both ridiculous and unrealistic. Not sure which it is or maybe it's both.

I feel like the only thing realistic about the whole story is that the author remembered that the marriageable age of men in China is 22.

Either way, I still enjoyed reading this novel. Maybe it's because of the nostalgia I felt from the crudeness and silliness of it all. <<less

This is a very good novel in my opinion as it is very well within my favorite tropes.

  • ML is good but sometimes I question myself if its alright for the ML to be this pampering. But given how untrusting he was at first it was quite acceptable because the romance wasnt forced.
  • Good amount of Face Slapping!
  • The comedy is 10/10 and this may be my favorite kind of humor.
  • Although there are not much drama, there are still some but I guess it was alright because if too much drama were added, it won’t be good for the novel.
  • The side characters are also lovable although some aren’t explained and written well because they suddenly disappeared or may have been forgotten by the author.
  • The translations are good and there’s not much problems.
  • The only problem is how easy it is to get rid of the villain. The villain which I have forgotten who because they literally disappear midway, was not that threatening. Maybe it’s because MC was too powerful. Lol.
Overall, this is a very good novel given how I managed to finish this despite my short attention span and how easy I get bored.

This is my first time writing a review and I only decided to write a review on this story because I’m bired.

Song's blind date? Uhhh, I really hate it when characters have wormed their way into my heart, but suddenly they just gone! T_T
  • Then, the extras. I love the extras, don't mistaken. But really, after giving me the reason behind everything (maybe just 'most things') that happened, there's no comment from He Qian and Sweet Pea after -- after all of this? I want to know what they thought about MC and ML! Especially Sweet Pea! And and and. All this time, Sweet Pea know which car he picked in each Annual Party? I laughed a lot in this Novel HAHAHAHHA MC is so Lit especially about the promise/seal Read it ! Good Novel plus MC's antics on how helping other charas to be out of reach of the "supposed to be protag" with a golden finger. Salute to Secretary He, he really is a hardworking employee, well for The Cat bonuses!!lez work hard haha. ML's development is good too from being on guard against MC to being moved/seeing MC's cuteness. ML's fans are laughable too hahaha. You will laugh alot and feel a bit of second hand embarrass**ent in to the pint of wondering why when I am obvious you just a reader not the protagonist you.. Mu Cheng was the most favorite one here, His Mu clan went to a wedding wearing slippers and carrying melon seeds which made the warrior groom ask himself that why they bought Melon seeds? Did they think that the wedding food will not be enough?

Song Xian is also one of the idiot characters that became MC's friend later. He is a little idiot who CEO Gao thinks of like a pig teammate.
As for CEO Gao. Our MC Rong Qing had already flipped a lot of reasoning in his life, I pity the guy too much.

Now there was the Mother type character, Gungsun Clan's Zibai. Uncle Zibai for others except for MC. he showed motherly affection for all his friends and nagged them. He could also spank his nephew in public.
As for He Qian. He was a perfect assistant. All 365 days, Day or Night the guy worked with some bonuses. MC really couldn't enjoy life if not for this guy. He is a cat lover.

The plot was none. There was actually not plot. It was only a story about two people MC and ML.

How they met and fell for each other. The Author is a unique person to write such unique characters and stories. In which you just love all characters.

Mostly what was amazing was the translator, He did a superb job. He cleared all words that were hard to understand, explained things that I didn't know. It made the reading more easy and funny.

I really like this novel, it is full of laughter, sweetness and cuteness. I can't stop laughing and grinning in every chapter. This story is well written and well translitted, really love it. Really like all the characters they are really so cute and silly, hehehe.

Hilarious novel! 11/10 would recommend if you're looking for some fun and light read. Everyone is a crackhead lmao. If you just finished reading something heavy or just wanted to have a laugh for the day, this novel is for you. I really love the MC even if he's sometimes s*upid lol.
