He needed to go to few small worlds to solve the villains whose dangerous index exceeded the standard, so that the world can restore it’s harmony and beauty. It’s just that, the system sent to him was a bit strange. The first sentence it used to greet him was–
“Who are you?”
In the beginning, Gu Xiyu thought this was a super-intelligent humanized system newly developed by the Administration. Later he felt that his system was sick.
In order to fight for sovereignty, the powerful villains will hurt the protagonist. Gu Xiyu thought he would receive an order to stop him with a knife to the villain.
The system said, “You send him a bunch of flowers and he may not deal with the protagonist when he is in a good mood.”
In order to destroy the empire, the general villain of the empire will severely wound the protagonist prince.
System instruction: “If you act cute to him, he may accept your request and not exterminate the human race.”
The great demon of the cultivation world captures all kinds of immortal cultivation pills to increase his energy.
The system said: “In fact, there is another way for villain to progress.”
“Such as?”
“Practice dual cultivation with the villain.”
Gu Xiyu:?
Because he would be punished for refusing the order, he could only act according to the order. Surprisingly, the progress bar for the reduction of world danger actually moved. But the villain was getting more and more wrong.

The MC is doing his best to complete his task (even though the path to success is a little bit off compared to usual), while the gong ends up cooperating with him (choosing MC over his obsession in each world). I like how the world protagonists are not made out to be evil, but are genuinely nice people, and even have friendship with the main characters in some worlds. The story overall is interesting, and as the author stated it is more focused on healing of the main characters (their past scars), instead of focusing on their relationship development and struggles throughout it. We see how two individuals who had similarly painful past took different routes in life, but ended up meeting each other and became each other's support (though this is mostly visible at the end of the story).
The MC has a system where the ML can hear and respond to. So basically, the ML knew he is the target and because of that he interacts with the MC subtly.
The ML is both the System AND the Target and the Fact the Target ML CAN SEE the System Panel and Interact to MC LIKE A SYSTEM. Thought what he can see was Limited.
The 1st chapter would explain it, but if you get confused I will explain the simple way:
System = an Intellectual Computer that happen to be binded to the Main Body of ML. Simple explanation is; it's like a Genius Computer (probably AI but not the sentient type) that should have given to MC, but accidentally given to ML, but still linked to MC.
Target = Fragments of ML, so they all can see the Panel System and use it within limit and can talk to MC. BUT the one who give Missions, Information and all is THE MAIN BODY. And of course they don't know they all just a soul fragments from a Someone.
1st world was good in my opinion, very nice, the ML is yandere as fork. Gave me a little heart ache near the end but very good world. But I can’t lie it’s bit vague in their feelings and their relationship feels more superficial, maybe it’s because they’re developing it here and it’s the first world so it’s not very developed in the writing sense. But oh well, very good world. 2nd World was alright, MC bullied ML a lot since ML was younger. Quite liked this one but some bits of drama was a bit useless. It’s hard to track the many names 😭. Very cute tho I’m starting the 3rd world now. So I shall read it in a bit.
Positive emotions between leads, in a nutshell, are explained away as meant to be and fated. Still, the narrative emphasized more greatly the small discords, the annoyances, and the disappointment they felt toward each other. Although it might be mere bickering, the author doesn't put in the effort to develop their feelings for each other in-depth, resulting in it all giving off a negative impression and any positive sparks would be quickly extinguished by a quick negative misunderstanding. Side plot villains showcased a great deal of hypocrisy and irony of the author towards ML despite having similar life experiences. Yet, only ML was deserving of a savior and lover that came in the right time of need before committing bad/worse deeds yet the story requires a plain cookie-cutter villain to make the story slightly more entertaining.
The story summed up:
ML is sealed away by a godly force/organization that an amnesiac MC is now working for.
It's indicated from the beginning that they're lovers through the hints the author gave away as inexplicable longing and closeness they felt towards each other.
While ML shows a crazed obsession for possession and control, the MC tolerates this psycho-lover with unlimited patience and undisguised criticism. Both are equally aware of much of a bad person the ML is yet MC believes he can be calmed down through the love he gives him, yet is determined to put him back under control and shackles of their organization for the greater good.
Will ML be locked up by MC for good this time or will they find a way to freedom and live happily ever after?
It's a Chinese web novel, so the ending is quite on the nose.
So, the main problem for me in this story was the lack of romantic emotions. ML is crudely forward in his demeanor and shows it through possessiveness and obsession and MC is the only key to calm him down.
Though MC enjoys his company, he's indignant somehow over his true feelings and refuses to be honest leading to many many misunderstandings while knowing the ML is desperate for affirmation and security, MC loved to play with his feelings.
Even if he'd think of other people more suitable than ML, every time he got closer to another person other than the ML, he'd feel repulsed.
They both treated each other insincerely yet are inseparable from each other. But nevertheless, he was forced to coax the ML through ML hijacking the main system to begin with and would be punished physically with pain and drained strength if he wouldn't comply.
The ending was ridiculous. For nearly destroying the planet and killing many lives, ML's prison time was treated like a time-out.
On the promise of good behavior, he's let out. The whitewashing (his innocence) was laughable, vigilante self-served justice in the name of revenge and undermined crimes, painting the guy as a troubled teen.
As mentioned before, only ML is deserving of salvation, the rest who had experienced and lived the same as him will be cannon fodder to spice up the story.
The 2nd arc ML was the sole endearing one as he's not committed or plans to commit crimes beyond redemption unlike the rest and has an immaturity that creates a sweet and clumsy gap-moe from his usual cold nihilistic deranged self.
