Good story. Good plot. Ending was ok.

Fight scenes were a bit dry (not a lot of description)

Some elements that were introduced in the beginning was not mentioned anymore toward the end (metamorphosis, 12 zodiac set, etc..)

Translation was quite hard to read (every sentence they double spaced) and some misspelling errors (that's fine since the context still makes sense)

I quite like this novel. Although it was quite long it kept me very entertained throughout. It was very unique and has an interesting system. I expectations for this novel were exceeded, one of its strong points is that the battles are for the most part reasonably sized. Sometimes they can be a little short, but they don't drag on and on for 50+ chapters like some stories do. I personally like this style. Its ending was alittle rushed if anything but it wasn't bad.

A well executed reincarnation novel. MC has no real "cheats" and only makes use of his effort and grit to get the undiscovered advantages. It has a fantasy feel to it along with game like elements like view-able stats such as Strength, Int, Wisdom, etc. The MC will also develop a territory with different races living in harmony.

However, the world and characters are not interesting enough to ignore the lack of suspense or tension in the story with regards to the MC.

As many people said, this novel has many similarities with Reincarnator, though they do differ in some areas, some of those differences are bad, some good and some don't make too much difference. For example, this novel is much more MC centered with less progression and introduction of the side characters which makes them irrelevant for the most part, but on the other hand, you have tons of side characters in Reincarnator whom author gave too much attention only to be forgotten in the next arc and become completely irrelevant.

The... more>> thing this novel did worse was the plot armor / luckiness of the MC. I mean beside the fact that he was reincarnated and knew much of the stuff about the future, he was also extremely fortuious in those encounters and got much more than even he excepted, which made him almost godlike in the current tl-ed chapters (keep in mind that the story is barely over half-way done).

For the thing this novel did better and actually made me rate it so high, was the focus on the "game" elements which Reincarnator, sadly, put aside. By focusing on the game elements (stats, items, skills...) I mean that author still keeps them very much relevant to the story and keeps track of them almost every other chapter.

Overall, recommended to the people that like reincarnation stories filled with game elements, op (in this case almost godlike) MC and a pretty dark and gritty setting where everyone is out for each others head. <<less

Interesting story

The MC came back to past (40years earlier/ his first arrival in the blue temple) after he died.

He start to strengthen himself to achieve his goals. He believe in himself and don't accept failure (just like in a quotation"try and try until he succeed").

Sorry if my grammars are wrong... But I swear this story is good and many characters will show up in later chapters like s*lom*n.

Spoiler

I wish some extra chapters hoping to know more things/happenings to them after they go back to earth. How they going to adapt in earth or how humans and other beings going to evolved for them to adapt in earth.

I like this series it's decent. Nothing spectacular, but it can keep you hooked and entertained for quite a while. However, that's only in the beggining of the story. After you grow to know the Main character you lose interest.

Like most have mentioned, the MC has clear well defined goals, and you can totally see the reasons for why he has them. So there is no guessing about his motives and you understand them well, but the writer fails to make one empathize with the MC. Sure one can become... more>> excited at the Idea of the MC obtaining revenge, but why? Because we feel the MC pain, sorrow, and truly empathize with him? Or because we wish to the entertaining spectacle of an as*hole who's in a higher position and power, be brought to his knees for our enjoyment? I think most people lean towards the latter. There's nothing wrong with that; but, after, reading so many Xianxias this aspect had grown old and boring. And this is why empathizing with the MC is important. Even if use old done to death, plot lines and story elements, if you can keep the audience grounded with an entertaining and well written Character, the burden of an amazing plot lessens; depending on the reader.

The MC is cold and calculating. Sure under circumstances the MC can shine like a badass, but, the majority of the story he's about as lifeless as a dead fish. Just because one is a cold, calculating, badass doesn't mean it equates to an amazing Main Character. For the most part the MC is a lone wolf, which means there are hardly any side characters which can keep the mood entertaining and prevent the story from becoming stale.

If you are one who mainly looks for an amazing plot, then it might be worth a glance. However, if you lean towards amazing, interesting, and well written characters, then stat away from this like the plague. <<less

It have a very good system for the equipment and the status, at some part you can see the influence of LMS and it's similarity with reincarnator. It's still a very good read nonetheless.
