Upon waking up, Ji Yu found that he had transmigrated. Not only had he changed body, but he also got a little cub.

After transmigrating, he is at ease. He decides to study hard and work hard to raise the cub.

But…

Why does the person named He Zhou kept looking into his eyes so strangely?

Why does Ji Yu care about him inexplicably?

When looking at each other, he can’t help but blushed and feels his heartbeat very fast.

Even more shocking was when the little cub, who was raised and raised, suddenly turned into a small mutant beast, wailing at his mother.

Ji Yu’s stomach has also been feeling very wrong, and was bulging day by day.

Doctor: You are pregnant.

Ji Yu: …Whose it is?

He Zhou twisted the cigarette bu*t and bust in: Mine.

I like ABO but this just makes me so uncomfortable. Omegas have absolutely no power in this universe, to the point where if they get marked by an Alpha, they can be completely controlled by them, and Omegas who get marked by bad Alphas will actually die. Omega MC is very reasonably upset to have transmigrated into this messed up universe, but the Alpha ML just treats him like an unruly child. He even has the audacity to say:

"If they are obedient, then the Alpha will be able to easily... more>> deal with their bad behavior, and teach them a lesson. If the Alpha cannot administer discipline, for fear of being too heavy-handed, then the Omega may grow contempt, and will always act out. In certain helpless situations, there was nothing an Alpha could do."

trying to spin this like the Omega has any power in this situation, and the poor little Alphas are just forced to bend to the whims of their Omegas?? THE OMEGA COULD DIE, YOU MORON. And the MC has no way of fighting back! The power imbalance between the main couple is insane, and I feel like I'm reading the recounts of someone's domestic abuse story, not a sweet love story. I dropped halfway through chapter 11, which is where the quote comes from, because the ML forcefully marks MC despite the MC spending almost the entire chapter begging him not to. WTF, this makes me sick. This webnovel has largely positive reviews, so maybe it's just me, but everything about this webnovel makes me feel so disgusted. <<less

It will be shame to miss all the good things just because you sulked about the unfair omegaverse setting because that's THE exact point of MC transmigrating to this kind of omegaverse. Someone actually addressed that big elephant within the omegaverse. MC took on omegaverse using his principles as a modern man and I like that.

Spoiler

Think omegas cannot surpass As and Bs in test? He topped the thing. Submitting to pheromones to fall inlove? He removed his mark despite a 100% compatibility. AND IT STAYED THAT WAY TILL THE END. In the middle, there is a half-omegaverse/half-sci-fi story subplot because of MC's family background. I appreciate how it has realism in it that we got reminded that they were just teenagers after all, and ML's dad took the responsibility of protecting them from shitty adults like MC's dad. No golden fingers, or plot armored ML. After that, it focused back on the couple's relationship progress and their uwu family.

[collapse]
They never succumbed to STEREOTYPICAL omegaverse pairing. The real ending is at the fanwai.

As for the ML his initial cold attitude is just a minor part of the story, why get stuck at it. It's just part of the introduction. TBVH compare to what Jiyu has achieved and done? It pales in comparison.
Spoiler

ML and just about every alpha in their school has been faceslapped since he was kicked down to number two spot in school ranking.

[collapse]
Alphas mock ML for being 'weak' because he cannot even put a mark on his omega. When Jiyu commented "Thank you for your respect, you let me really understand that you love me and it has nothing to do with pheromones", I was touched. IMO, respect was the greatest expression of ML's love considering this is an omegaverse.

Also I wanted to comment that the original JiYu actually prefer those yandere-ish kind of love. Just that he didn't have the confidence MC had to change his environment. So them exchanging world is sort of good for the both of them rather than dying. Original Jiyu had a healing/character growth because of it too. He finally got to experience a nice dad.

My original rating is 4.2 but will rate 5 to balance things up. 3.6 is really unfair and underserving for this fighter MC. <<less

After seeing the rating of this novel, I felt that I need to do a review. Why is this rated 3.6 stars??? I don't normally read stories below 4.0 stars, but as I'm a crazy omegaverse fan, I made an exception, and.... am I surprised? I thought the story was going to be horrible, and it isn't!

A better description of what the story is about (because that description above doesn't explain anything) :

    • MC transmigrates into Ji Yu's body, an omega who committed su*cide and left behind an 8 month old baby. MC comes from a world where are only two genders: female and male. So under no circumstances, MC would imagine that the world he transmigrated was an ABO world. Everything in the ABO world was very similar to the MC's original world. Same historical figures, same brands, same technology, same clothes, same era, etc. The only thing different in the world, was the presence of alphas, betas and omegas. But it doesn't take long for MC to find out he's in an ABO world. In addition to being in an ABO world, MC discovers that he is the baby's mother, not the father. And he also finds out that he's an omega who's already been marked and who is despised by his alpha (ML). The reason ML ignores Ji Yu is that, Ji Yu cheated ML and the baby's father isn't ML. Before Ji Yu died, two paternity tests were done and both were negative. Ji Yu continued to strongly insist that the father was the ML, even though the paternity tests came back negative, but ML and his family didn't believe Ji Yu. From there, MC tries to follow Ji Yu's life, protecting the baby and showing that omegas aren't just pretty faces. ML realizes that MC is behaving differently and quickly comes to the conclusion that MC is not the original Ji Yu. The story follows from this plot.
About the world:

    • I think by this point everyone should already know, but this is an ABO universe. In this world, omegas are extremely weak. It's definitely the definition of omegaverse genre: omegas are useless. In front of an alpha, an omega is completely incapacitated. If you don't like stories like that, DON'T READ. I repeat D-O-N'-T---R-E-A-D! It's kind of weird someone to read an omegaverse story and rate it low because the world is extremely unfavorable to omegas. That's exactly what the omegaverse is about. I really don't understand.

(I know there are some stories that are not like that to omegas, but that is not the common.)
    • Male and Female Alphas can't get pregnant (can be only father) Male and Female Betas can get pregnant (can be father or mother)

Male and Female Omegas can only get pregnant (can be only mother)
    • Omegas come into heat even though they are pregnant and they can come into heat even 3 times a month.
About the story:

    • I particularly found it a bit rushed. In the beginning, MC is in high school ready to study for the entrance exam and the problems start to appear one after another. It's a lot of problem to solve in a short time.
    • Despite being rushed, it has a beginning, middle and end, it doesn't leave any loose ends (not that I remember).
    • The extras are very good. I loved it.
    • Almost all characters pay for everything bad they've done. This is really a good thing.
About the characters:

    • Original Ji Yu:
      Spoiler

He was a character I really felt sorry for.

His mother died when he was 10 years old. Immediately afterward, his father placed his concubin and his concubin's son in the family house. Ji Yu felt his father's disrespect with his mother, he didn't accept it and, with 10 years old, he left the house cutting off all relationship with his father.

Ji Yu was taken care of by his grandparents for a while, but it didn't last long. They died. He had to live alone while studying and working to support himself.

Remember that this world is extremely unfavorable to omegas. Ji Yu got tired of the life and wanted to join the world of the famous. But he was tricked into an accident where he found ML and was marked. Ji Yu and the ML have 100% pheromone compatibility, it's like they were a destined couple.

5 months later he had the baby. Everyone thought the length of pregnancy was strange and ML took a paternity test. It was negative. Ji Yu knew the son was ML's child, he's never been with anyone else. But he couldn't prove it. Nobody believed him, just your only friend.

ML and ML's family started treating Ji Yu badly. Ji Yu suffered heavy bullying in high school.

Ji Yu had a friend, the only person who was still on his side, Xie YuXing. Ji Yu found out that his friend had been watching him for years on his father's orders. He was a spy.

Ji Yu couldn't take it. He committed su*cide. He didn't have a mother who loved him, he didn't have his grandparents who took care of him, he didn't have a father who cared about him, he didn't have a brother or family, he didn't have a single friend and the only one isn't real, the alpha who marked him didn't believe in him, he was bullied in high school, and he didn't even know who the father of his son was.

He was marked, completely susceptible, he was abandoned by everyone. He couldn't take it. He decided to take his own life.

Before continuing, I'll say again that a marked omega, in this world, is completely at the alpha's mercy. Ji Yu didn't want to erase the mark and probably suffered from the hormonal imbalance caused by the alpha's absence. All this, added to the series of bad things in his life, was enough for him not to take it anymore.

In extras, we follow Ji Yu's life in MC's body.

I couldn't read it without crying. Ji Yu writes a text explaining everything that happened to him and in the end he ends up saying that he committed su*cide. It really touched me. He regrets leaving the baby behind alone, but he can't go back. He tells MC's father that he isn't the original son. After a while, the MC's father accepts and they live together. 15 years later Ji Yu finally finds someone who loves him with all his heart. I love this extra because I think Ji Yu deserved to be happy.

    • MC
      Spoiler

I like MC character. He's not one of my favorites, but in general I like him. He's decisive and doesn't depend on ML to get things done. He's smart, treats the baby very well and doesn't give up despite having transmigrated into the body of an omega. He makes ML stop treating him like a fragile omega, and wants to be treated like an equal. ML starts treating MC the way ML wants to, but because of the MC's strong personality, ML learns to respect MC's decisions and not force him. Once again.... remember this is an ABO where the omegas are submissive to alphas. ML's attitude is not in disagreement with the context of the world.

      [collapse]
    • ML
      Spoiler

ML only treats MC badly at the beginning. Soon, he finds out MC is someone else and tries to get closer. He thinks because the MC's body is marked, MC belongs to him. But, MC makes it clear that he and Ji Yu are two different people. MC erases the ML mark from his neck, and ML tries to make MC fall in love with him. ML changes his behavior a lot throughout the novel. It starts out cold and indifferent and ends up spreading dog food.

      [collapse]
    • The Baby
      Spoiler

      The baby is ML's son.

Ji Yu's father did genetic experiments on him. What ended up causing Ji Yu to have a different time of pregnancy than ordinary people and that his baby was also genetically modified, not carrying the father's DNA.

      [collapse]

Anyway, I wouldn't give this story less than 4 stars. I would give it a 4.2 stars.

If you're a crazy ABO fan, like me, and don't care about ABO scenarios where omegas are marginalized, you can read it.

It's really an interesting book. First it was the high school life but suddenly things changed. Loopholes and all sorts of mysteries starts to appear around the original MC's past and his present. Our MC got pulled into this and did his best to live for the MC, but he also added his own colours into it. I recommend it since the MC wins my favours. He is really the type not to drag things and think very well compared to some other novels that write the MC to fit... more>> a situation for example lowering his IQ and EQ to fit a drama scene. It can be done well but I've seen less of that (lol).

The ML is quite un favourable at first but he does have his reasons and plus he doesn't know anything and got slapped in the face a lot by the Orginal MC both are not at fault in my opinion. His current development is far better than his past if one look at how he was written. He does experience his pride being questioned indirectly, I don't know why mention this but it's what was stuck to me while I read his appearance throughout the book.
Any-who you should read it it's enjoyable and good in my opinion. Not to exaggerate or anything

Just here to rate 5⭐ cause of the low ratings. Really good novel, most of the low rating here are basically just complaints because of the omegaverse setting. I'm just saying, if y'all don't like omegaverse, why even bother reading this? Just don't read it bro lol

I'll give a detailed review later lol when I get the energy to do so.

I can't help but be drawn to these cliche novels. The story takes a different route from the normal I-transmigrated-into-someone's-body-that's-in-a-parallel-world. The MC, Ji Yu is an independent individual and I quite like him because he doesn't want to rely on others, especially the ML, He Zhou.

The plot progressing isn't that far and the MC is just starting to make things turn around for him. I think it's a good read as Ji Yu is entertaining. The only problem is that the translation is very rough.

It was a very, very enjoyable read. I actually don't like "classic" ABO. I don't like everything being put down to physiology. I don't like the inequality in the relationship. The Alpha is authoritative and possessive by default, the Omega is gentle and submissive by default. I don't like the way pheromones replace everything: mutual attraction - pheromones, conflicts resolved - pheromones.

So, this story was, like, cut exactly to my taste. It is all about equality, it is all about liking, loving and respecting each other without the prop of... more>> pheromones. Of course, it is ABO nevertheless, but the ABO details seem to work even better on contrast.

The plot is pretty wild. I had fun with it, even though sometimes I was like "author, really?" And the MC and the ML are one of the healthiest and most likeable couples I can remember.

The MC is great; no other words, he's really awesome. He's someone you would be happy to know in your life. But for once, I think I felt even more respect for the ML. He's not super-great. He's just very decent and good person. He is not a transmigrator, he grew up in this world with its rules and prejudices. And the way he works on bettering himself for the MC deserves respect.

They both go a long way, even though the story is not very lengthy (took me two days to read). It was great to watch them go from misunderstandings to cooperation to trust to like and love.

The kid... the kid is beyond adorable. Not annoying at all. I loved every scene he was in.

And special thanks to the author for the extras about the original Ji Yu. His story was like a short book in itself, very touching at first and very hot later.

Ah, but the rating of this story... QAQ. Why, really? <<less

This story really gives me mixed feelings about whether it was interesting or straight up made me mad. There was a lot of things constantly happening in the story that made it interesting to keep reading. But I could never get myself to actually like the ML.

Like I got to chapter 72 and the ML was questioning why the MC doesn't like him when everyone else does. But he has only has ever been treating the MC like a toy and arrogantly thinking that the MC likes him. Even though... more>> MC clearly told him that he was not the original owner of the body.
I still don't understand how the MC could simply get with a guy that has been treating his baby and him horribly. But fortunately the ML changed for the better after the MC washed the mark.

Spoiler

The first time, the MC met the ML was down right disgusting. The ML abused the mark to control the MC in a cafeteria. Then the next two times he continued to abuse the mark to cause the MC to faint in the locker room shower and in the woods.

It was honestly for the best thing that the MC removed the mark so the ML could not keep controlling him against his will. I was glad that ML never marked the MC all the way to the end of the story cause I don't think he deserves it. He never once apologized for using the mark against the MC as far as I know. Maybe I missed it but I am pretty sure that he didn't.

In addition, I understand that the ML originally thought that the baby was not his and believed he wore a green hat cause of it. But that is no excuse to treat an innocent baby like air. At the beginning, the ML thought the baby was a stain in his life and he didn't care if the child lived or died. The baby reached out to ask him for a hug but was coldly rejected.

It was real hard not to continue to dislike the ML even after he changed. Since his past actions towards people were pretty horrible.
[collapse]

The interaction between MC and the baby was adorable. I also liked the MC's father. He was truly a kind and caring father. It was pretty sad though that he does not get to be with MC.

Overall, it was an interesting story with a lot of cute and fluffy moments with the baby. Like they did not just forget about the baby once they were in a relationship like in other stories. But be warned that there are also some pretty tragic and depressing parts.

Spoiler

Such as human experimentation, su*cide, and unspeakable things involving dogs.

Omeghad I can't. This novel is too cruel. I can't find myself finding a perspective justify the ML and everyone else's cruelty.

Spoiler

At this point I stopped, the ML discovered that MC is no longer the JY he knew before and the previous JY had already died of overdose. And what is his reaction? HE JUST f*ckING FIND THE MC INTERESTING. WTF. Bro, altho you hate the previous JY but you had physical relationship! You even made him pregnant! And what is his reaction knowing the previous JY died? NOTHING! No remorse whatsoever! Such a f*cking cruel character. He doesn't even have the slightest care about the child.

[collapse]

I can somehow stomach the discrimination in ABO world against Omegas (altho it's also a big turn off). Cause it has some logic into it and is somewhat a common aspect in an ABO. BUT, this f-ing ML is just beyond that level of cruel. I don't care if he change or whatnot later on. But I'm f-ing dropping this. Sorry (not sorry).

I just feel so bad for the original JY. Even if he schemed and do those stuff before. He did out of love and desperation. Or rather he was a s*ave for his instinct. He doesn't deserve those cruel treatments. Especially, those of ML's. Man, HE F-ING TOOK HIS LIFE CAUSE OF IT. *Sobs* I can't. How can you like this kind of cruel story. This baby, can't take it *sobs*. <<less

I almost missed this good novel because of the low ratings. I knew most of the low ratings were due to the omegaverse theme, but yet, I was fooled by the reviews from people that or doesn't like omegaverse and is just trolling around or pretends to like it while criticizing things that are inherent of this theme.

So, first of all: if you don't like omegaverse or things related to that (go check if you don't know), this novel is not for you. You reading this would be like a... more>> people who doesn't enjoy horror reading a horror story and criticizing the blood or the scary. Don't be that person.

Second: this novel deserves a chance if you don't fit the previous case. Not a perfect novel, but enjoyable anyway.

MC had a loving father and had just finished high school when he suddenly found himself in someone else's body. The body looks just like him (except paler and weaker) and has the same name. And there's a baby. It takes time for him to really understand this world he is in now is an omegaverse and that he became an omega with a baby - and that he is the mother. MC have really good grades, but he is kind of silly / ingenuous. He didn't try to learn more about this new world before making few big mistakes that leads him to reveal he transmigrated to a guy and another one hearing it all.

ML is an as*hole at first even though it is possible to understand the context. I mean understand and not accept. Nobody needs to accept bad things. We learn how ML and MC got together, how they fell apart and what caused it all. ML seems to grow up fast at a point and he recognizes his mistakes.

Spoiler

ML seems like an angel in comparison to the white lotus hiding right beside MC

[collapse]

Also, MLs bad deeds came back later to bite him in the ass.

I do agree that MC changed his mind about ML relatively fast and got carried by the amorous feelings. It's almost like the author wanted MC to have no choice too. But the good overthrows the bad, so, its acceptable.

the baby is so sweet! To MC, the baby is the only one he have in this new and strange world at first. The baby was neglected by the original as the original was really deeply depressed. The original had no one.

Spoiler

His mother died, his "boyfriend" (ML) didn't trust him and used his marking against him, his father didn't care about him, he was hated by everyone in school and now he was all alone. While people said ML saved MC, they had a 100% pheromone compatibility and MC was drugged to stimulate his estrus. ML said he didn't even tried to resist. He marked The original and got him pregnant. But ML didn't love him and didn't want the baby. There was so many evidences the baby could only be MLs, yet, or they didn't care enough to think about it or IQ got offline

[collapse]

oh, and the first arc is like a school romance thing, but after things get serious and wild.

The romance is good. The relationship develops fast, but the feelings only come later. That's basically because of what happened / is happening:

Spoiler

like one thing leads to another? Original gave birth to MLs baby, MC transmigrated, ML found about it, ML find MC more interesting than the original plus the mark (not love yet), MC keeps surprising ML, MC washes off MLs mark, original's father is interested in MCs the baby, ML helps, ML starts to fall in love, MC is pregnant (without sex), MC needs MLs pheromones, MC is in estrus and on and in. ML didn't love MC from the beginning and part of the reason he got interested in MC is because of his mark and pheromones. Only later he truly falls in love and all thanks to this chain of events. MC also takes his time. MC go with the flow, but only falls in love later too. Later than ML

[collapse]

Now, about the most disgusting thing about this novel, it's definitely one of the characters. He is the most disgusting character I ever read about.

Spoiler

ok, there's actually two. One is the originals father that made human experiments and turned his parents into dogs. He even used those on his first wife and their son. And he want his grandson to do G knows what.

the second is original's best friend, the one that shows up at the beginning. I'm mentioning him, but the two other (MCs half brother and his groom - there's a twisted love triangle here full of angst) that comes with him are disgusting too. I think he is the worst of the three because the other are kind of predictable to be bad, but this one disguised as an angel. He is one of the hands that pushed the original - his best friend - to su*cide and many other bad things in "the name of love". And he never truly tried to compensate his bad deeds, all he did was to manipulate the events to have the guy he love by his side. He kind of felt bad for what he did, but he never stop doing - always with his good boy face. Villain to the core. I would rather jump in the middle of a pack of wolves than take this guy helping hand. This helping hand kills you with a smile.

Whenever I've read about childcare in BL stories... the author always ALWAYS written such a lack of depth towards mother and baby interaction. More like relationship between uncle's and aunties with the kid. I know people nowadays seems to think "anyone" can be a mom but let's face it, the deep love of a mother towards their children is inevitably elusive in BL writing. (Especially if you read some pieces written by a teenager)

This story is so much better than I was expecting. Definitely a great novel for anyone who enjoys ABO and child raising novels!

ML is a rare gem of an Alpha who treats the O MC as an equal and wants to fall in love regardless of pheromones. Honestly one of the best A MLs I've read, especially considering how prejudiced the society is, as he always puts MC's opinion first and never forces him.

MC is oblivious to the ways of ABO and proceeds to attempt to change society, pretty standard... more>> for this type of story. He also has literally the cutest baby ever, like insane levels of cuteness, I actually got baby fever reading.

There's a good amount of backstory and plot to keep the story going, with some honestly not too engaging side characters but I remembered their names so that's something. The romance between the leads is very cute, and though it's nothing too intense, they're very sweet and comfortable with each other

I liked the world building too, with Omegas actually being able to get mark removal surgery, and it's actually safe?! Wild to me that this is pretty unique for an ABO as usually a mark is to the death lol

Overall, a solid ABO novel and a fun read! Some darker themes but the writing is pretty lighthearted for the most part. The one star reviews dragging the rating down are honestly uncalled for, so I'm rating this higher just to hopefully bring up the rating a bit! <<less

I love this! The author intended this for comedy but no, the ML and MC didn’t get that memo. It’s just things happen and we as reader find it so funny and I’m loving this breeze of fun.

For the other reviews unhappy about the inequality: This is already an ABO story. What kind of equality can one expect? Heck, even the real world with two genders can’t even get things right. We might as well sit in to enjoy the remaining fun

I'm not quite sure what to say after reading this. It's not bad but also not that good. It's an okay story and I expected a lot of childcare and lots of interactions with both parents after getting together but it seems like that was all brushed off and they went with the plot twist route lol. Ngl, I loved that plot twist and I like the implication that humans degenerated and split into this ABO segregation thing that was happening and they are still in the process of evolution... more>> again.

Overall, I liked it enough to MTL the rest hahahahaha. Give it a shot. It's a good novel to MTL cause it's actually readable.

edit: I feel bad cause I didnt realize I rated this a 1 star!!! This was supposed to be a 4 stars for me. <<less

Came for the Romance but stayed for the Action.

It's omegaverse with a twist. Ngl, in the first few chapters, I really hated the ML. I actually wanted him to feel regret (a.k.a. Wife-chasing crematorium) but as I go on, I felt like "hey, he isn't all that bad?" Like, dude's still a young man and haven't even finished school yet. Of course he'd have some bad choices. As for him regretting, I kinda understood that he wasn't really close to the original owner and the ML's grievances are justified. (Imagine... more>> thinking that he was cuckholded by the original owner because that's what the "evidence" proves). Technically, ML is also a victim so I accepted him as a proper ML.

The romance are fun to read. Like, they TALK. They're a bit awkward, especially the MC (first time falling) but the ML isn't that good at it either (ML kept on overthinking about what MC would feel since MC is from another worldview).

The action. Oh lord, I feel like it went from romance to shounen. It's about the mutant thingy and it actually tells a lot why the original owner is so miserable.

Bonus: Original Owner gets his own happy end~ <<less

I don't know why the people say that this omegaverse is bad for the omega, on the contrary, I would say that the omegas and betas are respected, each one knows their needs and priorities, when the MC arrives he assumes that he only transmigrates, he never takes into account that he transmigrates to another universe where the ABO exists, he has a hard time accepting that it is an omega, but the alpha never treats him badly, not after finding out the whole truth, even when he thought I... more>> was cheating on him at least he left him money and then I respect him not to bite him, and his ending was very interesting <<less

Idk why this novel got so less ratings. It is really a good novel where the MC was not marked till the end. The kids are cute and... Though ML was a typical alpha at the start we can see his changes at later stage which is truly good... Very likable MC...

the story is nice, I like how the MC adjusted in his current life from his life from the other world. I love that upon coming to that world, he managed to fix and uncover the secrets and depressing life of the original. Also, the parent and child interaction is so cute. But the most fulfilling part of this is that ... more>>

both Ji Yu got their happy ending. Ji Yu who transmigrated to the ABO world got a loving husband and cute children. Then Ji Yu who transmigrated to the Normal world finally got a fatherly love and at the end, he got a lover that would only look at him and love him unconditionally (though some of you might find their taste is strange, but I guess its because they're hurt and broken that's why they are like that. But I'm glad that these two broken people found each other and hopefully they can heal together).

i quite liked this despite the anticlimactic ending of the main text; it made me feel as if the author kind of ran out of ideas on how to tie all the loose ends and just decided to write a short resolution as an afterthought in the first extra chapter, nevertheless, the babies were lovely, the romance between ji yu and he zhuo wasn’t as fluffy but it was romantic... it’s also refreshing that although the ML has a significant background, things didn’t get resolved with just one phone call... more>> like how some stories are usually written so that was a plus for me... there were also a number of aspects that would have been better if they were given focus but were not and it gave me the impression that the author suddenly had the idea or incorporating them in the story but ended up abandoning them and then moving on... but I still quite enjoyed it because of the main cast, especially the babies... overall i’d give this a 4.5 <<less
