It’s been 25 years since I found myself reincarnated in another world. I’m a traveler by profession, otherwise known as unemployed.

While I was wandering around, trying to enjoy fantasy from top to bottom, I encountered an injured dragon girl.

As she looked at me, the image of the Demon Lord from the smartphone game I had played in my previous life came back to my mind.

She is a powerful opponent who is a great enemy of humankind, a brave man pulls out his sword and confronts the demon lord to get rid of it.

…But.

In front of me, there is a girl whose clan was destroyed by humans and struggled to survive even if it became tattered.

At this rate, her destination is the two characters of ruin.

The beginning is great and have many potential, but since its only have 30 chapter maybe its not really impactfull but still worth reading

I like the story concept, but feels sad bcs its only have 30 chp

While a part of me wants more novels that focus deeply on adventuring and conversations with people and less on combat to drive the plot forward, the other half of me wants to experience this particular writing style being used for combat encounters.

(I'm not very sure if I can explain this correctly. Some slice of life novels deliver exactly what I'm articulating here when it comes to the ambience of the story. Think "Kino no tabi", where it is psychological, adventurous and does it's combat scenes justice. It's just... more>> that they are really hard to find.)

World building with little breathing room to spare in terms of chapter length and volume is a challenging task without coming off as a case study (Think of "I only summon slimes" as a victim to that challenge). I applaud efforts of adding subtleties such as hinting on a RPG-esque skill system without elaborating further in order to prevent it from distracting the readers.

The author wants their reader to breathe in the mana-heavy air and feel the demon king's bloodthirsty gaze on their skin. But, they fell short in trying to achieve that immersion. It's as if you're in a nice dream and someone suddenly starts poking the inside of your throat with a really old pair of chopsticks.

That being said though, I'm pleased with this novel. It's a very good attempt at making something immersive with very few chapters that falls a bit short. <<less

It wasn't a bad story but it felt lacking. It would of been better if there were more chapters of buildup where they visited a few more towns or had events that brought them closer together (i.e. him protecting her from a monster or vise versa) basically anything that stengthens their connection or at least a monolog from the female protag about how the male protag saved her from hating humans. It just felt like the buildup was lacking when she had an intermonolog about how much she cared about... more>> him.

While it could use more build up the biggest issue is the story ended when it felt like the story was just begining... There could have been a lot more content where we got lots of fluff from their travels or some action where they kill the people who attacked female protag village. It just felt a bit unsatisfying to have it end in that manner. <<less

This is the kind of story that's not a bad read, but it's one you won't remember for very long. The biggest flaw is that the story tries to incorporate tragedy to give Spica's character more depth but doesn't do a very good job because it tries to rush from the tragedy to the romance in an implausibly short amount of time.

It'd be one thing if the death of her parents and everyone she ever knew happened years, or even months, in the past but in the first chapter she... more>> literally has just escaped from the scene. In the amount of time described in this story she should still be in shock.

Tragedy in a story isn't something that should be wielded this carelessly. If the author was serious about incorporating it he should have fully committed to it:

Sun should have died in the end, killed by bandits or by someone's negligence or for some other similarly pointless reason, and in his final moments he realizes that the reason she becomes the demon lord was not to avenge her family but to avenge him.

Well. It was a decent fluff read, albeit suffering from being far too short. There is little progress allowed in the short 30 chapter run for their relationship or any travels they would have. It feels as if the author wanted the story to be longer, but after writing decided not to. This leaves some awkward points in the story.

The story would have flowed better if the story was written from Spica's POV right from the beginning. It would have given her story and recovery greater impact. As for Sun...... more>> he is a rather uninteresting character who could be replaced with any JP protagonist. As it stands though both the characters backstories and the world itself suffer due to not being flushed out enough along with an ending that gives no real closure. <<less

My impression for this is that it's like drinking lukewarm tea with added honey. It's cute and warm. Although it doesn't exactly brought closure to the story, we knew that together, they'll lead a different life, finding happiness and joy in trivial little things while living which cannot be found when the heart is full of vengeance.

And ​that, giving a person who was down and beaten a helping hand, it may not be a very significant matter, but it helped and matters a lot to the recipients, for it helped... more>> them to not lose their light, wandering and struggling in cruelty fate gave, on a less th**ny road... <<less

It's a cute and somewhat short story to read in your spare time. There's nothing that stands out, but it isn't bad.

The characters are your average JP characters with the FL being super adorable.

I don't know if it is because of the Translator or the Author; Well it does gets the point across, the writing, or the translation, isn't smooth. It just doesn't have the flowing feeling of a smooth read.

But the ending is kinda bad in the sense that "It just ended". If there wasn't anything to tell you... more>> that, "This is the end", you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the ending and a normal chapter. <<less

3.5/5.0 Good story but felt unfinished. What happened is just,

MC saved the girl>visit town and solve some problem>visit another town then talks about the girl's past

I don't think this can be counted as completed cause it feels like the author just lost interest immediately. Also the translation sucks, looks like it's MTL. Not even proofread, a lot of terms appear different, (eg dragon man, dragonborn). Translator clearly only put a minimum effort to MTL this.
