Things got worse considering his enemies are beings that supposedly transcended mortals and lived thousands or even tens of thousand years already.
I feel so much misleaded by the picture used as the cover. The cover made me thought alone in an apocalyptic world and much more psychological content in the story. But I didn't see any of it other than MC being super sharp about everything else other than romantic feelings. The denial is just unpleasant as he progressed to be more handsome.
It's entertaining 'getting stronger' story through most of it besides maybe the repeated 'crafting' parts, just skim through em. I'm not a fan of game-like stats and skills in stories but I got past it, your mileage may vary. The ending is a little underwhelming as the power creep gets crazy and any kind of stakes are undercut just by how light hearted the whole novel is. Don't come to this for any kind of serious read.
The first few chapters in the 1000 year arc was the best but it just went down hill from there. He has no struggles or many amazingly smart moves. Everything is just so easy for him. It just turns into a basic power leveling book. Overall it's just boring.
I have no idea what does low star ratings all about, but I gotta say that this novel was an enjoyable read, I never stop reading this and go to a different book.
This novel had lots of funny elements and the ending was superb.
Some may say that its too predictable but I say its not really that so.
If you like one punch man they you will like this, OP with a funny quirky MC and yes the angel and MC get to be together.
A really happy ending
-OP MC
-Ruthless MC
-Not Idiot MC and actually thinking
-Not really showing mercy even though it's a girl or a boy
-Best waifus (especially the angel waifu)
-Comedy aswell
-Long Chapters
Bad things
-MC is dense but acceptable
-Loner Mindset
-Arrogant Characters?
-Sometimes it goes hype then boring and then hype and then boring. Overall it's good you should read this novel it's one of the best KR novels out there and has some one of the best waifus out there (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
First review
So far the story is unique enough to be fairly entertaining. The few bits I dislike aren't big enough deals to really mention. BUT The translator, though they started off fine, but with a monologue at the end of each chapter, has now taken to commenting throughout the chapter, constantly breaking the forth wall and being very distracting. I'll update this review when I finish the story.
