Nothing happens. There are zero bad guys or strife or plot. Hardly any growth and then only on the level of the kids becoming less shy. No challenges or struggle. The cooking is boring and bland even though I generally enjoy stories with cooking elements. Every single person they meet is not only a good person, but a good person on the level of bending over backwards in order to accommodate and help others. It does start off really good and fluffy then drags a bit but I like it so much. The novel maybe bit boring but they are heaps of good bit and funny bits which is hilarious. Its family friendly fluffliness in between no romance for main so far but I like it alot.

If you don't wanna read it because it gets boring just skip and get to the good parts because there are heaps.

The translator has good time updating and does it frequently.

I love this story. It's fluffly and heartwarming. It's story that got me into becoming a fan of japanese translated works and has opened my eyes to the wonders of asian novels.

Yes this is a sweet & light hearted story. It was made to be this way and I am thrilled it has remained this way!

Ok.... Honestly I really like the novel but the MC's reserved attitude is annoying the hell out of me!I understand he came from modern day Japan or something and thats just how Japanese people are in these stories but cmon!!!

There were multiple occasions where people wanted to give him a reward or that moment when he kills a monster with others but still wants to refuse the monster body even though they are letting him take it. Others who are reading this are going to hate on me for complaining about something this small but this is just my opinion as of ch.42 his attitude might change a bit and being from a more modern world I understand his balls are as small as a grain of rice but I really expect some changes later on but I doubt his character is going to change much.
